Possible left over or oversight regarding a specific area of everhood 2 | Everhood | Page 1

I have a question regarding the everhood 1 section in everhood 2, normally you can only get there in two ways as far as i know, dying to boatman 1 enough or winning and being sent by bobo, this means you can potentially get there twice, but if you do go a second time you are teleported to brown mage directly and he expels you from there.

But, there is another way to go there, in the ROM area there is a portal that also takes you to Everhood but unlike the first two it always takes you to the gravity chamber, but if you proceed normally you'll end up soft locked because the Bus never shows up after the swamp if it's not your first time there.

Is this intended or an oversight ?

It is an oversight that player is able to get into everhood through the ROM area!

I'll add onto this, if you do go through the portal and then go into boatman and fail or succeed you'll still be softlocked by being sent to everhood and not be able to progress by the bus

I'm gonna try to make a deal, but this is a pretty big softlock so could you tell us if there is any lead to going back there or if it was just a oversight, especially because of two things

The whole yellow doll scene lead to nowhere and even after retrieving the mask it felt like there should be more

And there this potential bug unless intended that this door is suddenly open
