I actually got the one hit Dmitri achievement in the cheapest way. I was fighting him as Irvine but died while he was at 5 HP. Then Sam comes in and you play as him. Obviously, being at 5 HP he died instantly to my next attack but it counted as me not having previously attacked him. This should probably get fixed... There may be other battles that have similar issues although this is the one I personally encountered
