#Proposed Nerfs to a Certain Fight

To be completely honest even more nerfs might be warranted especially to the last phase. The rest of the fight is perfectly balanced IMO
Considering there is an achievement locked behind the god machine And it's not being added to the arena, I think this isn't a completely insane thing to ask for.

Also should be noted that the first video of a god machine completion on youtube is from a press build that allowed you to hide in the top right corner and avoid the entire last attack. Obviously, it's good this was taken out, but the final attack is ridiculously hard with the amount of projectiles on the screen paired with how slow the health regen is. I understand why the person in the video hid in the corner because I genuinely can't see a way to dodge the amount of projectiles in the final attack without doing so. It would be nice if this was re-added specifically for this last attack of the fight, or maybe just reduce the number of projectiles flying everywhere all over the screen. The lightning is doable but in combination with the hands on the sides it's just not feasible
Not to mention the fact that if your hitbox touches two projectiles you'll just take 2 hits of damage from a projectile instead of one. (or some other issue is going on there)

Everhood 2 is an insanely fun game and the god machine fight is also fun. But that last phase needs to be nerfed very badly. I'd argue it's harder than no-hitting all of incinerator.
To lock an achievement behind this with how difficult it is masochistic considering almost every other achievement is based around the main gameplay of everhood (the battles)

There is a difference between fun insanely hard and "5 hours of nothing but attempts" insanely hard
The last phase alone warrants that descriptor being given to the fight

and again, i understand it's supposed to be like the incinerator from the first game and how ridiculously hard that was but there is a certain point where it just makes me not want to play anymore. Incinerator never did that to me. God machine final phase is doing that to me. The rng aspect is crazy.

I don't entirely understand the point of nerfing something that is completely optional which also has been beaten a handful of times already, proving it's definetely more than possible.
The only bullshit part to me is the last few seconds of the fight, but it's so short that you'll get lucky in just a few attempts.

i take back almost all the stuff i said, the fight is fair and doable
but the last attack NEEDS a nerf

sometimes the hands that spawn bullets on the side will literally just spawn walls of 3 bullets you are forced to hit
