I am having trouble recording the game using the built in steam feature that was just added. I have also had trouble in the past streaming this game on discord to friends. In both cases the game is being recorded at very low fps but I'm not sure if theyre related issues.

not too sure about steam but discord streaming heavily depends on your own connection and the connection of the person watching your stream. everhood is also pretty hard to stream on discord since the amount of effects and moving objects tank the bitrate pretty hard

yeah thats the issue it was the bitrate. i suppose theyre not related then. but if anyone knows the solution to game recording still i would like to hear it. or an adjustment to steam settings.

for discord there isn't really a fix, you cant change the bitrate at all and it probably just depends on your internet. if steam recording has an option for bitrate (it might be called quality, usually its in mbps) you could raise it to maybe 50-60 and it should look much better
