When I launch it through VD, it just comes up on a big screen and not in a VR environment.

On steam it’s 0.9831EA so it probably has something to do with the fact that MS is out of date

btw ive had it since it was free on windows store so if i can avoid having to buy it on steam, id like to but if that ends up being the best solution cause VD does work well with steam, then ill get it there

You can see the differences between the Windows Store version and Steam here: https://reentrygame.com/buy

A better description is also provided in the FAQ on the same site, but mainly the WS-version does not support multiplayer, VR and has a slow update cadence. It's why it is priced cheaper too.
