During the fishing minigame, if you open the pause menu and alt tab, upon returning to the game the fishing cursor doesn't move and clicking doesn't drop the fishhook. In this state holding down movement keys moves the water texture in the background instead of moving the fishing cursor. The first time this happened to me it was in a dungeon and my character was gone when the minigame was over. I tried reproducing this in the town's fishing spot and the same thing happened except that after the fishing was over instead of being gone, my character was out of bounds of the town and parts of the town weren't loaded. The attached screenshot shows an example of this. I've done it a few more times and I only end up out of bounds some of the time. Other times I just end up next to the fishing NPC. It seems like I only end up out of bounds if I held down a movement key during the frozen fishing minigame.
