Is it because my gas miner is in territory space and there is some base bonus to mining in your territory? I don't see any in-game tooltips or indicators reflecting that.

Mines in territory are 1.5x the speed

Take a no mining bonus ship like Realta and target the node. Compare the speed to a standard space mine
