It would be nice if Scopely would have a raffle for ships. Granted it would be subject player level capability. To enter one can use Christmas, St. Patrick's, Easter tokens and set a limit to just how many token in combination could be used! Since the announcement of new possible content that may come to the game, I wonder if the existing content like Borg or Eclipse may have a long term application in game.
Since the launch of eclipse, the use of vidar and borg refinery has become limited to faction credits...
I assume Eclipse may have a longer effect in game due to the research tree, but apart from that I wonder if it will have any other aspect.
It seems like there is very less probability of reviving the Borg or eclipse in the near future and most probably it will be like one has to either participate in arc and hold progressing their existing ships, or refrain from participating in arc and concentrate on their personal ships and station progress.
We already have to kill 200-300 hostiles a day and this seems like it would only increase with time without an option to passively grind. I am worried how the game may progress in the future

i think military supremacy is base on having non of the faction ships at ur lvl and or only having 1 of the 3, i believe if you have 2 out of the 3 faction ships you wont get it

Only thing I can think of is if you've done the mission chain leading up to it and now have the mission to build the franklin? Maybe that's a requirement also? Part of the problem though is that there are no clear answers from Scopely, and figuring out what triggers what can be difficult.. you can try to ask customer support though, they might tell you something other than "as intended"..

Only way I got access to the Franklin was by buying something for £4.99. Before then I could never see it, now I can. The change happened literally straight after the purchase, didn’t even need to restart the game

Yeah, the Franklin is a slow grind. I got mine F2P on initial release, only just now managed to max it out, and it took a lot of swarm kills 😬 level makes a difference though, as you both get more from dailies and from the excessive kills in the event (I'd be getting over 100k FM from doing the heroics). But obviously gets harder to complete as you progress level too.
And yeah, it's easy to fall into the spending trap here.. I've spent no less than that I think, but have switched to F2P since Borg (I'm not paying just to be able to spend more money at 40+..).

Zisonican, im not sure people are as familiar with the mechanics of the event store, but you don't have to be at 10 million to get the packs in the $ store, it's somewhat less but I don't know the number for sure. 7 million would be close I presume. It's possible the event store uses that algorithm and not that of the faction store.

Can someone explain exactly when "Ship use" points in CoW proc? My alliance mate and I are procing it different ways and it's not working for either of us when we try to replicate the other. He docks after every kill and gets it every time. I have to wait at least 60 second between kills for it to proc. Neither of us can get it to proc the other way

@sturdy rivet it will just be added to your score when you kill a hostile. It's possible that you're having a lag issue though..
Sometimes the banner doesn't provide the combined points though, it's tricky to check the alliance milestone event but if you're quick/lucky you should be able to see the correct amount is added for your kill.

Yes. You don't need to dock the ship, just use it to kill a hostile. So instead of 1 point per hostile, you'll get 1 + whatever the ship bonus points is.

Correct, that picture shows events starting at 5 AM, 11, 5 PM, 11. One of those is also event reset. Since it's clearly not EST, I wondered which it was.
And if the beginning is 5 AM (as it seems), event reset is either 5 AM or 5 PM, as no 12 hour events continue through reset.

- in last 7 days we have had 4 days of domination. Its a 1-2 minute event to complete and rewards are poor, so you might as well not bother
- In a previous week we had 4 days of mining event and 3 days of swarms.... these events are both boring and irritating
- Rogue event was basically a walking in circles event. Stella serves no purpose other than to destroy exchange armadas/hostiles and scrapping it to improve itself. The non stella researches in Rogue section that are non stella related dont require a stella to complete.
I know that it is challenging to come up with new and fresh ideas to keep customers interested in any business, but you could at least give us events that challenge and make us interact with game for a few hours.

We had generic "hostile hunt" events that I finished just by doing dailies. BfG is same. One run of killing - done.

There hasn't been an a "classic" armada event in a long time, so I actually think it's ok to have one in between (Pls don't you ever even consider putting a classic aramade event in the battle pass rotation!). However:
- The spawn rates make this event unenjoyable
- The lack of the "start now" button makes the event unenjoyable
- A gift of one epic armada per player would have been a nice gesture

I have to say I am fascinated by amount of free time some ppl have. There is at least one but rather two factions grinding, borg stuff, latinum mining, Auguments and data mining, swarms, daylies, and finally that Rogue stuff and freaking crazy difficulty of getting Stella on 5th Tier... if there wasn't that event store issue I'd be so happy for 3 days of domination which brings some rss basically for nothing and left me so much time to do the other stuff....

@winter quarry respawn take about 10 minutes for Armadas now, I was cycling though level 30+ Armada systems at a rate of about 6 minutes and I'd find one each time I cycled through again, though of course they were already taken

One of our members had zero points and joined an armada. Before the timer got to zero, we reached the first alliance milestone. We didn't expect him to get the alliance reward, but when the armada he joined completed, he did. Is that new? If yes, it's a welcome change.

Say 3000 players on a healthy server, 10 armadas per player, so just make sure 30000 armadas will spawn twice during each 24 hour period

Armadas is not an important part of ingame economy, just spawn them

As far as I recall, it was like that with all alliance milestone events: CoW, Apex, War Effort, etc. But there aren't that many of those for me to be positive on that. At any rate, I'm not complaining, was just interested in finding out if that was an intentional change, if it was Scopely listening to the community, or just a happy coincidence 🙂

Armada chests my ass if they actually drop BP or directives for anything I'd be happy but 99.99999999999999999% of the time they don't.

@flat fog Send all 5 (4 if only 4 docks) ships to a non-veteran system. Park each ship on a spawn point and start killing. You barely need to move your ships anywhere and as you kill ships more spawn, so non-stop 10m of killing action and each FH is done. Add in time to warp to each faction space kill, repair and warp to next faction space, total FHx3 completion in 45m.

My guess would be yes, you are all mistaken or mixing it up with other events, as every single other person here agrees it's 10. But it's also possible it varies on server or something so maybe you were all different. But since not one other person here has seen 20, that's why we'd ask for proof before believing your event was different.

Harrison is now no longer as big as an advantage as he was - the problem is if you max him and hit with a g4 ship that fires 2 mil - 3 mil damage in the first round your back to a over year ago when sallys were first getting big and you could one round people with your sally with Harrison - I miss doing that 😂

@quasi token depending on your server whales it will be between 2-3m points for the top two slots to get a full unlock bp quantity. The points are 100 for every 1 uc mat used or 150 for rare mat.

@quasi token you get point for each uc and rare mat, but also rare and epic directive. Op 36 + only event. The points needed change depending of your server ( new, old, lot of whales....). Keep in mind too that having lot of uc is nice, but having something to spend it on, and the trit/dili/speed up/Lat to back you on is better 😉

Dude, calm down. You are talking as if you are new to the game. Is this your first game update ever? No. Then stop it. The patch notes usually have arrived on the day of the update, no sooner. It has almost always been the case. Furthermore, after each long update I needed to go to the store and update the game. This is how things have been for 2 years.
