Meh. There's usually a good mix so that you can kill a few ships, and a bunch of us have been sending in weak ships specifically for other players to get the points on. If your server is alright it should be easy enough.

It's not cargo so jaylah does nothing...credit distribution is determined by damage done...it's possible to host an armada and get nothing if the other ships significantly outperform you

There should be a minimum threshold of reward regardless of power though...as stated above you can host an armada and get nothing and that's kinda 💩 (host chest helps and is a welcome addition)

OK, so armada distribution is based on your %age of the total ship power in the armada. here's some raw data:
the left most number (to the right of the name) is the ship power as displayed in the battle report at the end of the armada. the total ship power is the 6,677,325
so the first %age value is how much that player is contributing to the overall ship power.

now, when you scan an aramda before you do one. it gives you the total pot. long story short, you divide the total pot up by the %age of ship power.
JAYLAH helps the player that uses her. it DOES NOT boost the ENTIRE armada payout. so in the above screenshot,
if i used jaylah, i would recieve a 20% boost to the 1342.
it will do the calculation ofdivision FIRST, THEN boost the 20% to the playr that has her. this was also a focal pointof my research, to find out if only one jaylah was needed for everyone to benefit. alas, she's effective only fr the players who have her.

depends on ship strength compared to armada... if you can go into it with 50% of armada srength as ship pwoer, i'd say you have a strong degree of defeating it anyway if the other officers are stout enough. if you wanna guarantee it, bump up your %age... go to an armada with 55% or 60% of armada strength and you'll be golden. but i think you could get away wth more. testwith your armada partners.

a player sweeping with the d4 wasn't giving us kills.
so they have TP 1 again, and it's the same way. but because TP3 is allowing us to kill anything, we're getting points for killing players of TP1, but they're not getting points when tey die.

Many things r much better now in the game, but this pvp is going nuts. Many blowing ships up no matter there r no points and the excuse is always 'pvp event'. If u have fun with pvp its good, its ok, its part of the game, but stay away from player which just wanna do it easy... i'm off till tomorrow. Dailys r impossible to do atm

I have a much different experience during pvp. A bit of lag depending on the system. Most are fine. No freezing or crashing. This event won't teach me anything I didn't learn a year ago. Didn't even think (or care) about my base being attacked. Similar experiences across my server.

That explains it I'm afraid. You'll be able to earn Borg War Funds tokens through individual events like Live Target Practice, Esprit de Corps, etc, but cos you switched alliances whilst War Effort was ongoing, you won't be able to earn any of the alliance rewards, or contribute to your 'new' alliance total.

If you contributed anything to your former alliance after AMS started you won't be able to do so to the new one and won't receive their rewards either.

What happens then if a person drops out of alliance, but then comes back in, does that affect the points?? like for example a team mate is being raided, but we can't stop it, so we kick the player to save his rss, and then he comes back in, does that affect his points and rewards for the event??

@sweet aspen to illustrate my point, every person has had opportunity to earn 900 points in the event after today, more if they got lucky with target practice 2. Your numbers show that maybe 30 people are contributing (though that number may go to by end of the day). Crack the whip..

@sweet aspen this is day 4 at 200 per day, plus there was a compensation chest for 100 given after target practice 2 bugged out and needed to be reverted to practice 1.

its been 4 days, 200 points per day, =800, plus the extra 100 from the compensation chest = 900
plus if you managed to do the failed TP2 event you would get an extra 100 again, making it 1000
but at a minimum everyone has had the opportunity to get 900 points per person so far'

Low member count alliances are simply screwed I think. Don’t know about other servers, but getting fresh members is problematic on ours, we’ve only had a dwindling server population.

For me, the event store is way too crowded. Intrepid, B'Rel, Gladius, Antares, K'Vort, Valkis, Saladin, Bortas Centurion, D'Vor... Lots of blueprints available in this event.

I think that events such as borg probes should have rankings divided according to the tier of Vidar, otherwise it is impossible to compete, the same for station or research events, a lv 30-31 against a 42-43 does not seem fair

@gusty glen i don' remember him saying that... did i miss that somewhere? what i read is that unused currency would be able to be used... the premium rewards tokens i don't THINK will qualify. tose were milestone dependent rewards that you missed the milestones.

It’s severely unbalanced the Monday mining event. 3 players bought 3 dvors each and just exploit that range to win the lb every time.
Event needs to be revamped. Solo milestone only with latinum, mega miner lb WITHOUT latinum. Much more even playing field, no one gets the special bonus of doubled speed nodes or high warp systems.
