I have been grinding brel for a long time, gave up on bp drops. I have hit around 300 veteran 38-40 today, explorer and transports, brel bp zero..... farm enterprise no chance..

If u are heading for an epic ship but not willing to buy many many packs, better make a 12 month plan. U won’t have the uncommons needed to upgrade it to a usefull Tier before anyway

The screenshots above are misleading.

One had Lnar (faction dmg Officer) who can break triangle, ship tier and all sorts of fun jazz.

Another had a diff in woteln vs aze to which woteln is far superior in an int vs int. Also no one is saying a uncommon can never beat an epic, no battle log to show crits etc

My comments regarding ship tier are based on months of fighting them pre and post ship balance. I won’t link you one single fight ss but instead share I have tons of PD on my server from actual ship combat (aka do not miner clear). @leaden cipher @drifting bone @north olive

we've always suspected this was a complicated algorithm for who decided who gets the event and who doesn't. so far, we've run about a 25-30 player pool, and the theory hasn't been disproven yet.

ok, here was the theory,

faction rep must be proportionate to your ops level. meaning, you must be able to build the largest ship you can buy bps for in you faction store... ie, if you're ops 34, and 10 mil in fed rep, the you can buy enterprise blueprints. and if you DIDN'T have the enterprise, then you get the event. to encourage the build.

His second is romulan and mine fed..we both have none of the secondary factions ship's built. It’s unlikely y’all are the exact same. But I’m finding holes in my theory anyway. I have a 38 in my alliance who has it. And it’s telling him to tier 32. Which makes sense cause he is max fed and max rom. He’s grinding Klingon and it’s asking him to tier a 32 ship. He has an enterprise but no augur. So I guess TECHNICALLY he supports my theory. But others don’t at the higher levels. So I’m still thinking.

Another level 31 in my group is locked 10M with Federation and Consort with Romulan. He has build the Saladin, Antares, and Valkis, but he has not built the Centurion. He doesn't have the event.

It would seem folks don't understand, i'll make layman's term
To qualify you must not have the faction ship built for the lvl that allows such faction ship to be built, but it mist be available to be acquired.
Example: i am lvl 29 with +2 million in klingon faction
I have not built the bortas, i can purchase it through the faction store, i will have the event available to me.
Correct me if i am wrong, this is what revdeuce said in his video

What's really bad is that the level 31 who received the event who has his faction ships received it about 8 hours after everybody else, and he hadn't done any building upgrade or ship upgrades, just a research item.

Here's something that may break a theory or so...

Ops 35...Klingon and Fed both locked to 10m...no event, but I have the Ent. Which means I shouldn't qualify? But one of the theories is each faction locked you "need" that ship.

Unless there's something missing from that theory that you only need 1 epic to get excluded?

Which is strange because last time this event came around I was a ops 32 and I had a Tier 5 B'rel, but Fed/Klingon locked to 10m at the time too

@leaden cipher there are slight differences between players ... it could be based on the Shipyard, one has the right level, the other does not.

it could be they have the blueprints and have not built whereas the other does not ... there are lots of reasons why
