@kind roost I agree with you. And I add: the event itself is not bad, in concept. I like being able to choose my rewards, and I like that using faction ships gives extra points when killing hostiles. The only problem is that the rewards suck, royally. Comparing to previous mining and hostile hunt events, as you pointed out, they don't seem worth the time...

Seems im stuck in the event. I cant progress it further as my friends does. I got to the point i had to chose a side the 2nd time. And i chose klingons and got 6 D3 blueprints, but then it ended. I can however see several missions that i cant start, located in lorillia, Krak'hor and kaikara.
Does anyone have the same problem and or a solution ? :)

@stray tide I am not 100% on the Bortas, though mine is pretty solid, but I have had no trouble doing what I need to do with a 1.4 mm Saladin. Maybe that will change with the new content. The main compelling reason to upgrade at this point would be armadas, which seems like throwing good money after bad.

I will say that I recently got a lucky roll on Pike, and with him, Moreau, and Chen/Tlaan, the Saladin can eat through lvl 42-43 Easily. Reference point: 3 lvl 55 traders. Heh.

There is a mission that has ops level 26 and a requirement.

And it explicitly states that in the mission brief

Is it normal for someone at the current event with the Jellyfish to score more points when doing an Lvl 1 PvE than when I am doing an Lvl 40 PvE with the Intrepid. And then start an event with a ranking. There really isn't more distortion of competition! You just can't be serious. Please think about your crap that you tap into.

@twilit imp Please don't postpone Swarm Sunday. You say the event calendar is congested, but the only congestion this weekend is the Stupid Armada Events that EVERYONE hates.

It wouldn't be so bad if the Uncommon Armada targets spawned quickly enough to participate in them but would YOU rather spend 3 hrs looking for a single Armada target, or dip in and out bashing swarms for decent rewards.

It wouldn't be so bad but I missed the last threshold due to the maintenance last week (i.e. not being able to play) and the swarm events are the bread and butter for people like me trying to level their base and ships.

The U turn on the faction lock is proof that you do listen, so please listen and bring back Super Swarm Sunday; its my favorite part of the week

@glacial token The new faction levels are needed for the Grade 4 ships as there is no way to get them otherwise. I am SOOOO far off level 40 let alone the build cost for them so really the change is only really useful for those pushing for all three G3 ships. Ill probably lock Fed and Kling in at 10m and grind Romulan up just so that I can mine without needing to send two ships out to chase away the patrols. The big questions is, will there be another lock once you reach 1Billion Reputation?

@carmine lily - I have found them in Thama, Andoria and Lixar (Fed/Fed/Klingon). I assume L32+ systems. They appear at random intervals, and are faster than normal hostiles.

Don’t know other than from my own experience, they have shown in lvl 32+ systems for me and are only really noticeable because of the star next to their name and they zoom about pretty fast

yeah i've noticed they are always interceptors and love to speed, but no clue on how or when they spawn other than you have to kill hostiles in the system.

They just appear. No real trigger other than time. I sat in Lixar for an hour and farmed them..

It's seemingly random, but the first night I observed Lixar, the scout stayed 10 minutes then disappeared because no one hit it. It spawned again later. I hit that one. 10 or so minutes later, another spawned.

Think of them like the fleeing Pokemon. If you aren't fast enough, they run.

The one thing I noticed is that they only appear in very specific systems, for example doing dailies/grinding in quv'law, carraya and qu'vat and none show up, go to mempa and kill about 10 NPCs and one will show up

In other words, scopely wants you to explore it yourself and discover it. I "researched" one as it flew by, saw it gave more rep points, killed it... Discovered no repercussions and messages...

That was fun in of itself and killed them all when i see them lol

@nova sequoia varies, sometimes I'm allowed to do my old event, sometimes I'll get both the old, and a new version, and sometimes it'll change for my new level, i think it changes if you haven't started the event before leveling up
