Has the Armada ship selection process changed. Last night I was doing a 4 ship Armada with a centurion 2 D3s a mayflower and a kumari, so one ship had to be dropped. The Kumari was the weakest so should have been dropped but instead it was one of the D3s. Which left the Armada withe a centurion, D3, Mayflower, Kumari and the second D3 in the queue but in the circle. This happened twice in a row.

Joking aside and in all fairness, we've actually been asked to supply a lot of feedback since Armadas launch. Like, nearly as much as the 6 months before that combined. So they are legitimately interested in getting to know what things to improve and with that, the availability of Directives is always on our report. Each and every one of them.
The Moderator initiative to do a community poll was absorbed by Scopely as well which some of you might've noticed. The latest in-game survey shared a lot of similarities with it and we'll be working more closely with that specific department to make sure the right questions are going to get asked in those surveys, with the right answers to choose from.
So, don't feel entirely defeated - we're doing our very best to spread the general consensus to them.

If you are trying to dual faction, then you might need to only do one factions event sometimes or else your rep will start getting unbalanced. It all stems from the overall poor design of faction rep
faction rep reset is literally the highlight of this game recently. Wait anxiously fo the rep event to reset. Join and build my next building to collect my faction credits and wait 24 hours.

Domination events should be just bonus events to meaningful ones.
Right now, you must pay hundreds of euros to compete in armadas, and on top of that they try to motivate you by asking more money to compete in the domination ones.
I would prefer to have a "grinding" event with nice solo rewards, and domination/armadas in the background, to help you get a higher value for your investment.
Plus, more meaningful packages in the store.

For several days we have a lvl 24 player competing and gaining gredits in the race for jellyfish event on our server.
This is unfair for other lvl 36- players, and I would call it cheating.
One player breaks the rules all others are forced to follow, and he keeps playing. Scopely response: We don't know how is possible, won't happen again.. - and there he is the next day.
If we can all break the rules/cheat without consequences, please say so. If only one/some can, please say that also - this way we know what to do.

Also got same response from suport, several times: we don't know, looking at it, will be solved.
Meanwhile the event goes on (will end soon also-that's sure), he gets ranked and my players are upset and think is unfair, or that we are being dismissed .
Before coming here I tried ignoring, then support, pm..
Same result. So, in the end, if nothing changes, I will come back with my question:
Are we allowed to break the game rules and play unpunished, as long as the devs don't have an explanation for it?

Every hack is a Scopely problem. And how can you compensate and entire server, when he can win 50k+ tokens from that event?
Or make it free for all. Either way, if nothing is done, means rules can be broken without repercussions.
If I exploit a bug, if I cheat, doesn't make Scopely suffer, but the community. I'm breaking rules that keep others behind.
So either the rules are unfair, either that person must be punished, but something must be done, and cases like this shouldn't be dismissed.

@twilit imp, why isn't there a weekly poll to see what event the community wants for the weekend? Why are Armadas and Domination event continuously pushed on us for this long? I haven't seen any positive feedback on either, yet they're still here. It's as if Scopely has no intention on satisfying player interest. Many will argue that point.

Armada is new content release along with Mirror Mirror, so those typically run for a week or so. None of us like Domination and have stated so. At best it should be a background event like Faction Rep one. Panic doesn't determine the events. That is done by developers, and we have been pushing for return of Faction Hunt, Act of War, Battle for Glory etc.
I push Faction Hunt every week. multiple times. Hopefully it or one of the others will come around soon.

@raw zenith, it was my understanding that Panic was the Community Manager. He or Gala, would be the ones to passing up this type of information.
Why is a developer scheduling events? Should that be something someone with an active channel to the game be doing. They should probably stick with developing.
The Armada event already ran two weeks and most everyone hated it. A week later here we are again with none of the feedback implemented. So why should we have to suffer another week?

At least there is no cool down. The first time they did these event stores I guess they thought ppl were getting too much loot so after some people got a bunch they added the cool down to throttle what you could buy.

Totally agree on the training missions. If they'd drop a few more token events, I will also follow that advice. They seem to have stopped the dailies to get the large amounts.
