Why not mine with warships? Who’s bothered by that? That’s like saying don’t hit a warship with an explorer. If it gets the job done, who cares? As I’ve said before, a warship taking 20 hours to drain a node is the same as a survey ship swapping out a node for 20 hours.

Virtually everyone that cannot reach higher systems cares that you are clogging up a lat node at for instance 32/hr, effectively blocking it for half a week, where even a rudimentary surveyor would do several thousand lat/hr, freeing it up for the next user.
If you drive on a highway at 20kph, of course you'll get there just as you would at 120kph, and someone using the road to complete six times as many trips would in your view perhaps be the same thing. Actual resource throughput however, effectively craters if all the nodes are clogged with battleships denying anyone a chance at event rewards.

So imagine I have two D’vor’s. I get a lat node and swap ships ever two hours. That’s fine by you, right? I can hold that node until someone kicks me off. But if I put a Kumarri in that same node, it’s all the sudden a great sin. No difference to you. Either way, you have to kick me off the node if you want it.

Whole server had to come togather to destroy that alliance. worked pretty well. The kind of player you descibe are there and I have no issue with them. They can kill my miner, I do the same to them.

@delicate narwhal They are the fastest miners available, but you must watch over them due to low protected cargo. Many ships can mine g3 materials quickly, but only Botany Bay mines data efficiently.

From what I’ve seen it still breaks it but there is code that refreshes them every so often so they fix automatically after a bit. Could be wrong. Not sure why augment nodes are gone. We’ve got quite a few in different systems.

hostile spawns are definately a pain, all hostiles of certain levels are usually depleted within minutes and then it's just nonstop animosity between players racing for that one proper level hostile that spawns when someone finally kills an undesireable.

All solo leaderboards should be tiered to players of equal ops level only. there's way too much difference in potential power between even one level difference at the mid and higher levels. I don't know what world you are living in, but absolutely none of these events are ideally timed for the U.S. 8 hour events activate in the middle of the workday, late at night, and in the middle of the night/very early morning. At most we get 2 hours to complete any section of an event which tends to require extreme efficiency to complete all rewards in that time. Burst events tend to happen very late usually around the time most working folk are putting kids to bed or going to bed themselves. 8 hour events are absolutely terrible for almost everyone in terms of having enough time to complete them.
They actually seem most ideally timed for China/Asia as most events would begin on a perfect 8 or 24 hour cycle beginning at the day changeover.

At lvl26, I need to destroy 100(!) lvl30 ships (to be fair, the rewards are slightly increased). I understand the jump from lvl28 to lvl30 ships. But more than doubling the number of ships to destroy??? I already find it borderline tedious to destroy 45, but 100 is just too much.

its because the power jump in ships from lvl 28 to lvl 30 is a lot more then from 26 to 28

at lvl 30 I have to kill 38 lvl 34's which are impossible to find either have to kill 150 lvl 33's or hit up and kill lvl 35's which is 140k difference from lvl 34

you can safely assume that at 26 you can manage with a strong kumari.
at 28+ scopely expect people to have gained in some way at least one decent faction ship. If you are not in that position, then things will be significantly hard
