Yes, the USS Franklin will be available, for free as I understand it, by completing events. I bet there will also be a pack if I had to guess to accelerate it. But the point being is you'll use the USS Franklin to farm swarms at higher levels than you normally would be able to.

I have defended this game multiple times on several platforms, but this new event has completely crippled and ruined this game! Restarting every 2 battles, having to hit attack 5-7 times to get your ship to attack swarm ships, seeming endless reward issues, lag for every other game based thing you try to do! It's absolutely ridiculous! They do actually test this stuff before they release it right? Because so far I'd have to say no they don't! 😠

It's not a beta test that's required they won't have the volume of accounts they could deploy to replicate what happens with a whole server, what is frustrating is the seeming inability to learn from previous mistakes, I'm really patient with glitches and bugs I have zero tech understanding and I am in awe of people who make these kind of things, but I do have the logic to understand that a lot of factors can make an error occur, .... this is not a testing issue this is a common sense issue, someone sitting there and thinking if mission A requires action B how will that play out... oh wait stop that's the whole server bottle necking into one sector bad idea, making mistakes is fine, never learning from them that's a problem. This has happened before, and it's happened again that's just annoying they can't avoid previous problems which aren't a complicated issue just someone thinking things through

Having to kill 30 in a single system, where it starts the event, is also a bad idea. Literally making it difficult to really move on when the system is not only full, it will remain full because most of the people are in the system, trying to kill 30 hostiles in the same system.

I'm fairly certain that there has to be some degree of 'well, let's see what happens before we promise things.'
I'm fairly certain that it can all be answered in an appropriate and informative post that communicates this, should the information be given to the communications person to post.

"We're introducing the (insert ship name), as well as new officer(s), and you will be able to get the shards and BP from (insert cool name for event) which we have scheduled to launch within (insert time frame with wiggle room from Devs from one of their stand up meetings + 33% time).
Please be patient as we roll this out, as we want to accomodate the unexpected as well as react to feedback from you, our valued players! We're excited ourselves, and want this to show a constant commitment to the game, the players, and our own pride."
I'm fairly certain the comms person is not getting that information, and when that happens, they end up answering a deluge of questions poorly which reflects bad on the company and the people communicating it.

I like the new swarm dailies, and the swarm missions were fun, except any that required you to go to that @#$%hole known as andvaris. Whoever's decision it was to put the requirement that the swarm hostiles could only be killed in that one system should be flayed alive
every person in the freaking galaxy crammed into one system at the same time. lag, game crashes, hall monitors claiming you were just sitting there so they kill you.
and i like the resource exchange in refinery. its resources. we have begged for more ways to get resources and they gave it to us and since they are tokens they cant be robbed if you get hit

The solo event is in possible. At level 29 I have to hit level 28 ships for one point. The value of a level 28 ship is 605k. My best boat right now doesn’t come close to that.

Wow, my saladin that can kill like 15+ lvl 31 faction Interceptors can only kill 3 swarm 28s at a time.
At 28 I have to kill at least 28s (for only 1 point) to progress in the pve acquisition event.
At 7200 points over 7 days, I will need to repair my saladin over 300 times PER DAY to complete the event?
Do these numbers look wrong to anyone else?
