Why are the rewards so poor for this battle for glory event?
I have to spend around 300-400k in trit to grind out tier four on each event, the rewards for all 4 add up to less than 200k. Not to mention the absurd amount of speed ups I need now to get it done in the time given. Why do I have to have a net loss of rss and items to participate in the event?

im only getting to 3rd tier. 4th would be too hard. could probably do t3 without speed ups, but spend ~~2hr on average per 8hr round id guestimate b/c of real life/sleep. trit & dil is my issue, its a overall rss drain. im L24. farming 26-29s with 160K vahklas. once i get a kumri, can use both to be less picky on targets (interceptors & survey only for now) . have a NS but didnt think worth upgrading.

Don't hit surveys those things are all shields and hull, also don't hit faction ships they are tougher than their equivalent lvl neutral ships.

1: i moved base to doska (& pjem is right next door). The non-faction systems with base-able planets would 'trap' my envoys in there with their warp requirement.
2.*im not sure i want to raise my rep without a credit incentive along with it. I am already not doing the 25x Champion b/c of 'target range/scarcity'.. so if i jump to the consort hunt L30 x 10 should be fine... if i get kumari up before i hit consort even better b/c ill be able to do the champion daily.

Willenia and niawellan are both warp 22 close to baseable systems and have a mix of all 3 ship classes in 27-29 range plus g3 for your envoys...by all means do your 10 or 25 factions for dailys but after that it's just efficient to hit neutral ships making best use of the combat triangle

@agile silo at level 27 I needed to kill level 30 hostiles for 20 points. Needed 2000 points to cap. I could do this in 2 Kumari repairs. I just hit 28. I need 1600 points but I now have to kill level 32s for 20 points. I can't kill anywhere close to the same number of 32s as 30s in one repair

Why? The event was substantially easier for me at 27 even though I needed more points. If I had a faction ship already as a level 28 can be somewhat expected to have, it wouldn't be much different at 28
Use officers that reduce damage taken, fight on triangle, stick to the lowest level that gives max points. If you can't complete it at that level you probably need to upgrade your ship some for your ops level

hey anybody in the data collection alliance event that didn't receive the rewards for getting number one with their alliance? I've been trying to get scopely to fix this for the last 3 days. And they keep ignoring my request one guy responded on Monday saying he needed screenshots of the event. I posted all the information he needed within an hour and I haven't heard anything from him since. I think they're just waiting until the event store closes before they say well there's really nothing we can do the event store is closed.

I get that having an increase in gains is okey. But me generating 12 trophies for my alliance doesnt really do much when higher powered people can generate close to and over the 100 of trophies in about the same time effort.

I updated to lvl 24 just before the event so no ships able to kill the 20pt ships with any efficiency which in itself wasn't a big deal as Khan repairs made it just a brief timeout and I could finish (eventually) to regain rss etc. Now however killing 6 ships and having to repair 2hrs no way it's worth the time or blowing dozens of 1hr speed ups. They say it's fixed with app update this week so we'll see before I bash any harder.

ok so yesterday @frozen willow (I think) reported that killing hostiles have become more difficult... and I must say it is actually correct :/
it's harder to notice when you can kill dozens in one go, but I have noticed it today, 28 & 29 non-faction became roughly 20-25% more difficult to kill
I used to be able to take down 28s in one round, now it's always in the 2nd round so one extra hit from the hostile

@stiff wyvern The khan shards was a one-time buy, like all the other named officers available at each rep level. At Ally you should be able to exchange data for augment credits; and exchange augment credits for independent credits and augment recruit VI (random officer shards). All types of plutonium are also available but you probably donβt need that anymore.

Next mining event, you should add data to the list of materials gathered that'd get you points.

As it will favor those with the high level Botany Bay and skew numbers.
Mining 20k Decoded Data is faster than mining 18k of any of the G3 nodes, even with the proper Mining Officer.
And technically faster than mining G2 resources.
G2 Resources == 1 pt/rss. G3 Resources == 10pts/rss... Decoded Data would have to be like 1 pt/10 or 1pt/100 rss.
Looking at my miner at the moment, 4470/hr for my Gas Mining a G3 Node.
Botany Bay with Joaquin, at Level 24-25ish... With some of the deeper systems, I am around 26k/hr for Decoded Data Mining nodes. 4ish hours for a G3 Gas node vs 45ish minutes for a Decoded Data Node at 18k/20k respectively.... Very easy to lopside the event. More so for the ones who were well ahead on the Botany Bay month.

Could someone please tell me when the event store will stop allowing us to trade our remaining khan tokens in for augment credits? I have 14 left and am close to getting to the next tier of augment reputation. In not sure if that, or current player level factors into the value of each khan token. All I know for sure was when I started receiving them they were worth almost nothing and bow they are worth almost 1700 credits. I was saving most of them until the value increased again (I believe due to one if the 2 factors I listed). However, I do not want to get stuck having hit traded them in because the event store was disabled.
Please, can a staff member or someone who has seen an answer to this give me a date the event store will disable the ability to swap Kahn tokens for augment credits?!

The rewards are ok for doing nothing more than Mining. What you really need to look into, is that laddersystem for the events. People who are at lvl 28 or above can send 4 ship to do the Event. Everyone under lvl 28 had 2-3 ships. How am i to compete angainst someone with 1-2 ships more on the same ladder?

They can send 4 ships but it's generally better to use 3 and have a swap ship in reserve to avoid those pesky overload hunters. Leaderboards for these events need to be bracketed like the regular leaderboards are now
Having said that at 29 I wouldn't stand a chance against the 30+ players on my server those guys go hardcore on these events lol...I do enough for solo plus a little extra for my alliance but I don't really go out of my way to change my regular routine for these things.

Being greedy with refinement drop rates and repair times will push more people away. Keep repair times short so battles can be enjoyable, making refined drop rate at a better level will keep more involved in game. Depends on your ship and strength? During the PvE event I'd get 10-15K per 50 crates from killing lvl28/29 explorers in xerexs

@rapid sky that may be true on your realm but I've won crew events from grinding and saving exp b4.....I find grinding the elites the best for crew exp
It's all about saving for events I only use exp on crew or ship events

Yeah the game is more than 6 months old now, it tends to get stale for some people around that time regardless of bugs and such.
I don't disagree, it's just not unusual for these types of games.

It requires active attention to the mining ship, it works great if your alliance does it in groups and multiple people can watch/react.

Very few people can successfully defend a miner. Most of them plant a Kumari next to their miner and act shocked, shocked I tell you, to learn that there are ships out there that move faster than it.

I donβt want a new spin. I want the good old hull damage=points formula, that way I can find the most efficient method myself on how to complete the damn thing. None of this, you need to be able to kill hostiles 4 levels above you en mass or no rewards for you BS.

@abstract gate The rewards need fixing massively, very poor Tritanim -20k for the first tier which needs 7.5mil points. Work the maths for that, I think this is the lowest they have ever been
