This is their model to make money. Players that already spend money will continue to spend and grow bigger and bigger. Design events that frustrate players that haven’t spent yet so they will either spend money or quit. If they’ll never spend money anyway, they are useless to Scopely. Then when enough players have quit, merge servers and start over with the cycle.

We should have several specific Galaxy Systems, Nebulas, or Black Holes, that are virtually arenas for special events, wars, egg hunts, and puzzles, whatever use they want. They could be changed, restricted to levels or factions, whatever!

i think most pvp events can be rigged, by having a friendly player in game pretend to be the pvp victim ( in his realta), a succesfu pvp event must somehow overcome that kind of collaborations

- Use the planets as they were used in Act of War but restrict the level of ship that may enter them. IE restrict one planet to lvl 15 - 19, another to 20 - 26 and the last to 26+. Then set a few systems aside in neutral space for lvls 1 - 14.

Problem with most events is most people don't have the mats to play them unless the spend a load of money on packs. Nothing for those who can't spend loads of money. There are two few mines and during mining events the high level who buy overpowered ships take multiple. I can understand multiple mines but devs need to give everyone a chance. We need events structured to reward everyone. Don't really play any events now except ship and officer non-ranked events.

@tiny flame that's a great suggestion. When an event goes live we mods are very quick to check the viability of the milestones and start shouting when they aren't realistic. I'm sure we'd be very happy to look at them before the event went live. It could potentially save a lot of grief.

One idea I had for events would be to allow players to pick sav small, medium or large yield for events with targets and rewards but scaled to the yield picked. Reward should be same things only quantity should be scaled.

Questions: 1) Will Event Store stay? 2) Will Separatists event repeat or an equivalent? 3) The Separatists Klings are sometimes in the new systems and other times not. Is there any Pro or Con to attacking them beyond normal hostiles? They didn’t affect Faction Rep, still true or no? They did award tokens for grinding, assumed not still true, am I wrong?

FYI, I can only survive attacking the 17s. Doing enough for daily Separatists events made daily hostile hunting nearly impossible, usually lost both event minimum points and daily points. I’m at 20 btw.

Something about the Faction Reputation events that everyone seems to ignore: The rewards scale with faction rep level. When I was FAVORED with FED and NEIGHBOR with Klingon, the targets for FED were higher, but the rewards at each relative level were twice as high.

It is deliberate that it doesn't count toward the power contribution. I am not certain of why. But my guess is that is provides an inordinate amount of power relative to other upgrades. I personally think it should count.

I'd like to see the armada be used at the alliance level.... for alliance level mass battles.... I would imagine this would be some new event. It's not about raiding stations (individual) but perhaps something more "team-building"...

Yeah, station/research events are not worth it... sometime you get lucky with some research giving you lots of points, but most of the time nothing... and with every research taking 1d+ and event only lasting 6hrs... 😄
