@unique lodge look at my screenshots, you cant max out the kumari as it is bugged at tier 7 when upgrades give less than 1% so everyone stops at 340k. I'm level 28 and have to get 90 million as they assume I have a higher tier kumari or a faction ship which I dont and cant tier the kumari though I have the resources as there is no point with a less then 1% increase so the costs of this event is way too high vs the reward

Why the wide disparity in items across player lvls available in the events store? Someone at lvl19 gets 30k dilithium for the same number of tokens someone at lvl23 gets 50k dilithium. Or 40 ship parts vs 80.
The same amount of work is being done, in fact it's harder & more expensive in repairs for the lvl19 to get the tokens to make a purchase.
If the 19 can get the same number of tokens, why are their rewards lesser in value?

the event is totally crazy for the cat. I still need 10 parts for the North Star and get no more. According to the support, it should wait for an offer in the shop or wait for a North Star event. Now my alliance members have said in entertainment that they can get 5 parts for the North Star in the event shop of Act of War. this is not the case with me because I only have raw materials available. Why are the rewards so different? It can not be that some are put in a worse position with the rewards and others are better off for the same effort.

Scopely fooled the players again... at Level 20 they reduce the limit from 2 million to 675k... and on Level 28? from 100 Million to 90 Million... The problem is not changed, if I attack an enemy and another player comes along and shoot it down while i was on warp speed to attack again. I spend a lot of time and get no of the rewards i deserve... that happens not only to me, also other players in my alliance.
90 Million points to get 7200 badges... for only 2 blueprints of the saladin... I get 15 of these blueprints when i buy a faction pack / I get 1 in two days with faction missions where I have to mine a bit 3* stuff and kill 25 enemies on my level... or in the event run ~40 times with my ships in an enemy. Work on it! Now! not next week, not tomorrow: Yet!
If that is what scopely want, I will be the next player quitting the game. That´s a promise!!

At lvl28 mine dropped from 100mil to 90mil. Grinding lvl22s to get there is time/cost prohibitive. Wasn't expecting it to be super easy but the requirement scale by user lvl is skewed and ship strength isn't that different from my lvl to one who has a fraction of the overall requirement. For example... A lvl23 sends out vahklas and NS and grinds within 300k of his 5mil solo target (top tier). I send out same ships similar crew at higher stats and hit just above the 5mil damage mark. Yet I would have to do that ~5 cycles to hit first lvl of solo. That doesn't make sense...

well it does look like they intended the higher level players to work together and take down the boss npc-s. Even as a lowly 24, hitting the boss with its shield down netted me 1.1M points, which is 220k dmg. I´m fairly certain that higher level players can do far more damage than that. But it probably won´t be enough to finish the daily, not without using alot of rss and speedups to keep constantly going. Which makes the rewards meaningless, since you won´t even break even, far from it

So they decreased the tiers by 25% but in the OP 25+ range without a faction ship the event is pointless. 450+ 22 elite kills for top tier or suiciding all your ships into shieldless bosses 50+ times. Millions in repair costs and speed ups for pretty low rewards. The math is still way off. I know people say “well don’t play it”, but that’s not the point. Nearly every event has been like this for some large portion of the player base.
I want the game to succeed and all I see is this stuff pushing more people away when event after event isn’t beneficial for them and they see no improvement or progress without spending big money. The refinery boost event for example was awesome, people really enjoyed and appreciated that. But it wasn’t really an event rather than a gift.

If they boost things, give greater event rewards, make the events enjoyable and profitable for all, people will continue to be able to progress/raid/spend more to remain competitive because there is balance. If you hit a total 100% paywall you can either sit there and refine for 3 weeks for one upgrade or spend $100+. Once you do that a few times and realize there is no longer any real ftp component without spending, people hit the wall and the galaxy fills with empty bases.

Then it’s pocket book vs pocket book and that’s simply not sustainable. The strong who pay to be strong and feed off the weaker no longer have anything to do.
From a marketing standpoint people need to be able to progress organically, albeit slower than whales. That’s why I don’t understand their MO of always making event rewards less than effort/rss spent. If you make rewards lucrative it benefits everyone and the game. Yet event after event the rewards or tier progression is horrible and every single time they get community discord backlash, yet do it again.

It is still a joke, you pay more than what you get.... I need 90 mio points for all rewards. When I take my best ships and only go for the boss it takes me at least 18 tours to complete it. One tour repair costs: 250k tritanium... 20k dilithium... even for paygamers this is stupid.
They should give out more points for killing the elites. Or introduce another level of elites. That way you can at least collect boxes. But killing almost 2000 hostiles a day is no fun. Especially when your info screen always lags behind because after each hit the ships storage is full.

When are the level 26 ship blue prints going to be added to the store for level 27? I missed out on first event as I was level 21. I pumped a lot of cash into the game in order to be ready for the new level 26 ships. Instead of them being available in the event store there are level 28 ship blue prints which are useless to me at this stage. I feel like I am being forced to purchase 2 event ship packs in order to fly the ship I’ve been looking forwards to flying for weeks... I feel deeply saddened by this event as it is completely useless to me now.

I completed the event yesterday. Cost 2.2 mil dil and a lot of effort. Was so put off by the rewards I just have not bothered to even try this round. 90 mil to complete. With ships I have been unable to really upgrade since lvl 25 because of the ridiculous amount of uncommon required

Try try and try. I do my best to make it in the game, if the final tier was unfeasible i'd never attempt to finish it and save the rss for the next reset. Even if it takes all 3 ships destroyed, i'd never stop trying

I'm level 23 and f2p. I can make top tier every time. I think most of the people are leveling to fast and not keeping their ships strong enough to keep up. I always make sure my ships are stronger by 3-4 levels than my ops and never have issues with these kind of events were we destroy hostiles

If my ops is 23, I make sure I can destroy lvl 27 fractions ships with ease. I've done this since lvl 13. I wait to level my ops until I know my next set of dailies can be done. It also allows me to make out these events because I can kill higher ships for more points and less repairs. It's a tad bit slower, but I get a lot of uncommon mats and other things that make it worth it

@errant owl Regarding the same tokens for different points depending on level, it would seem that the offers in the store are better for the higher levels. Look at my NS discussion. Level 23 players can get 5 blueprints for the price of what I would get only 1.

Yeah, the VIEW button doesn't always show on most of them, but sometimes it moves around. I just got lucky and it moved to the NS so I can see that I will still get 5 blueprints.

So, this event was clearly tilted to the higher level players. But, I get 30 of each uncommon in exchange for some tri and dil and some speed ups I was never going to be able to use up. i'm hoping the event ends soon so I can take part in something physically don't have the amount of hours needed to grind to the first tier rewards let alone have the dil to cover repair costs. I actually just put a 3 day shield on and didn't play the game all weekend, instead spend it with the missus and the kids. Events so cool it makes you not want to play the game at all.

I agree it is rough @inner loom but the prizes are definitely worth it. It is unashamedly pay to win, but if you can kill a full boss its 17.5M so event is complete in 20 mins (90M), IF you have a strong d3 / faction ship.
