@quartz forge I'm mining parsteel, tritanium and dilithium in order to keep up with the high upgrade costs of my base due to the incapacity of my storage units at max level to hold the ammount required. this means im' unable to take part in the event due to the event taking me away from neccessary tasks that i must achieve in order to advance

@quartz forge the problem I'm having with this event and the different versions of it, you keep mentioning milestones, but the only thing we (on my server) have is an alliance event. Even the announcement picture you showed said solo event. The information given needs to match the game. Different versions of the event cause confusion, especially when people check the announcements and see things that no one on their server has

I agree with that. Thats my entire question for the March discord event with the Devs. Bullies are ruining the game - there's no level restriction once you hit 15. My lvl 16-18's are getting hit by lvl 28's - they dont stand a chance! Some of my people have quit, the rest are pretty discouraged. I'm hoping to get some answers.

Not that I've seen. Miner raiding may disrupt an opposing alliance's ability to gather points, however raiding their bases to decrease their score is far more efficient

@empty finch if you get attacked while mining, your ship has to leave the node for combat, atvthatbpoint you get credited for everything you have mined since the last time you left the node. So yes you may lose some cargo, but not the points.

@dense storm the legionary was a mission ship acquired during an event. There is (besides packs) no other way that Im aware of to get that ship at present. Other ships that require level 26 shipyard and are included in the research tree are buildable at that level once you get there and complete the research. One min will get a ss for you
As an example , once you’ve unlocked the ships and the shipyard level, you can build em, if that makes sense. I just woke up 😉

@quartz forge Can Scopely give an explanation of why the majority of the packs for events are $100? The Surveyors pack that is offered for this event is rather inflated with items that are not needed that pertain to the event. In my opinion, if you cut most the garbage out of the pack you could sell it closer to $20 and more people would be able to purchase the packs.

The event that just ended was very interesting. It had its flaws but it was very interesting to see how it played out. On my surver many of the high level players raided each other so much that my alliance (mostly f2p) ended with the win.

On my server the top two were predictable but the rest were a mix, and some alliances with few high rollers did well. Moreover, 3/4 and 6/7 were still competitive in the last 15 minutes.
A much better outcome than I expected.
And the combination of offensive and defensive play was interesting to me.

Yeah, that's what I did too. Mistake I made was having to level to 18 to complete the Dominion event and that made the 'Build the Jellyfish' event disappear. No bonus prizes for me.

Support tells us is “your level does not qualify for this event” which is a canned garbage answer. We had some level 30s get the event, some level 20s get the event, but then other people who are level 29 didn’t get the event

I would actually be OK merging with a founding server if PVP were + or -5 levels. They would have to get rid of this dynamic level spread with huge PVP ranges – then I would be OK with it
That level spread was only there because bases were so difficult to attack, and now the bases are easy there’s no reason for that huge level spread

Level restrictions on fac ships was stupid in my opinion – if a player could grind the faction to do it they should be able to build it
I have 2 mayflowers and 2 Saladin though due to a glitch in the game lol. support said that I could keep them so I keep them. For some reason when my ship yard build a faction ship I get two of them

I played in s1, spent a small fortune and never got refunded anything.
I went from being top 10 to 50th spot
have no trit left and my ships are half the strength of some others.
I don't know how scopely figured it all out. all I can say is we can't call people refund abusers, players didn't really get a say with it all, it was near random. majority asked for cash back from apple and got it but us Google players got stuck with no refund
so it's a mixed bag really. not sure refund abusers is a good term. scathing generalizations

I think that the Northstar is a critical bridge to viable gameplay for many players in the mid teens to low 20’s. As I stated earlier, it was my main ship from about 18-24, when I built the Kumari.

I used the jelly until I got the vahklas. At tier 3 it is good enough for now with lots of potential. The NS has such low cargo capacity that I can't effectively use it to mine and it doesn't come close to the attack power of the vahklas.

@fathom kite Those rewards look awesome to me. I am level 19 and our rewards are absolute garbage. I would be willing to go to 20 to get the better lvl 20 rewards, but the trouble is the way this event is designed I would just receive the garbage level 19 rewards which are worthless in process of leveling. Total crap for anyone above maybe like a 15 and who knows maybe they get even worse.
