I cannot seem to attack during this PvP event, my ship races off to their destination, when I try it again it won't intercept and attack, just keeps racing off again. Each time they change their course before I can attack. Is this a bug?

My kumari is stuck in a level 35 swarm system and when recalled it loops right back into the same system. Apparently I am the only one who can see it there. Location shows it's there and error message indicates that course changes can not be completed due to the ships current status.

Granted I very much doubt that the issue is confined to my server. It's not so much a bug as it is the complete and consistent development failure with regards to Lower Level players and Events: in this case the "Live Target Practice" PvP's.
The upper level players show up to their assigned systems and enjoy blowing the literal out of each other. However, there are almost no lower level players participating which makes it time consuming/next to impossible for the handful of us to participate in let alone complete said events. I think perhaps too many of them view this as Star Trek Fleet Command - Farmville Edition!
If it weren't for an 'enemy-ish' recently turned friend @marke63ward with another alliance neither of us would have finished the PvP less than 20 minutes before it reset. 38 of my 45 points came from one individual who continued to show up helping me AFTER he'd collected his 45.

What people don't realise is you only get pts if you die or win in an event ship,
Northstar, envoy turas are not event ships, also you have to be your event star system.
Killing anything outside pvp areas = 0 points.
It was pretty clear tp1 is phindra, talla or jellyfish, using any other ship gives 0 points.
Yet lots of complaints cos you can't read.
Just fly into system die 45 times its not hard.

Not sure if it's a bug, lpoks like one though. I claimed the 1st borg mission (Bigger Boat) in the gift section, as stated in the FAQ's. There is no sign of the Penitent Man mission at this point. I looked through all the FAQ's, so many chats I can't see straight, and rechecked my gift section, a bunch, no answers. Please advise.

@buoyant glade it should have started automatically after the first mission, basically it ends with you donating 500k trit. It was all very short.
If this doesn't ring a bell and your event points are low you'll probably need to contact CS in game.

@acoustic reef problem though is that Moreau's ability actually comes through based on synergy instead of actual ability. So it's basically always going to be running at 80% regardless of tier. There's not a lot of solid information, but one of the guys at LCARS reckons it won't matter unless you run her with full synergy crew (yes, synergy should not matter, but check your log when doing hostile crew and it will be 80% regardless of tier 🤷♂️).
@wild badge I can't give you the answers, but if you're able to put some screenshots up on LCARS 2.0 QuirkyZombie or one of the team might be able to offer some insight.

@torpid sparrow combat isn't linear, try it again when you get closer to 200k maybe and see how it is there. Might find better success with the stock standard epic Kirk, rare Spock and rare bones crew, though I don't think it'll do it for you yet (can always try though).

I changed alliances yesterday morning EST 5/8 prior to the events starting. The alliance I joined had not reached the first milestone in the War effort event. I finished the events Esprit de Corps and Live Target practice 2 and then 1 after 2 was removed and no War Effort Points were awarded to the alliance on my behalf. The alliance reached the first milestone this morning and I still show no point awarded and am not able to collect anything from the War effort event. I have sent in 2 support tickets on this issue without resolution.

Thanks for advices. I rebooted game an looked for updates, but that stupid event was still there. Meantime I finished it, cause one player was so nice to fly several times to that system. By the way I sm level 23 and can attack up to level 33. I although own ships with 300 k. But it is stupid that small players only can kill other with this ships and only with this and in these special systems. The chance to hit 6 numbers in Lotto is higher then that.
All other can kill every ship everywhere and get points. Very nice.

I have to report one game issue and one complain, how game support is useless. In the last days I lost 3 armadas (rares and epics) that my teammates launched. I was inside the armadas using one more powerfull ship them my buddies, however, I got out of the armadas for no reason. I had the logs ( I asked for who was in) also start to took screenshots before and after the armadas, and all ships. I had to explain myself like 3 times before someone on support could understand what was the bug. They don’t really read carefully the reports and give us generic Answers’s. So the guys from support were thinking I didn’t not check the power of my ship, of course I did, I’m a level 33 player and I sent them the screenshots of the actual power of the ships, I would not wast my time and getting upset if it was not a really bug, So if some else had the same problem let know. I took screenshots of everything, I also have the screenshots of how bad is game support.

@lapis jewel our guys were having issues too. where they would get booted. there were at times when we had 4 ships on the armada, only 3 would attack and we'd lose. Why the 4th wasn't used is beyond any of us.

@runic moth it's not a bug, fighters can appear in any location near your ship and often appear in front of it if you warp blindly into a system. To prevent this always zoom into the system and warp into the very edge of the system, that way the hostile will always spawn outside the playable area and you have time to react.
@rough fiber if you left/joined an alliance during the event you cannot earn points or rewards for that event.

@fervent comet there's a bug with the battle reports list. The last few shown are old and do not belong there. There will be additional hits inbetween that you can no longer see.
You can replicate the bug if you're unsure what I mean by clearing them off the list (kill some basic hostiles) and then restart the game; old junk reports will be back on the bottom of your list magically..

You do get the first log.. @pale comet it's just that there is limit of 30 in the list, and the last few are generally bugged logs and so reducing the number of available reports to view. If you were hit 20 times then all 20 would be viewable, but at 30 times you might only be able to view 27 or ,26 of them.

Now what I wrote was that there are old logs that reduce the effective number if logs, seemingly the same number as your number of docks. So in your case you have only 27 logs that you can use after starting the game up. If you had been hit 20 times you would see all of them, but those 3 jenky ones will always take the place of your last logs of the 30 viewable.
If you want an example of what I'm talking about, go kill a few hostiles and note your battle report list; no jenky ones. Then restart you game and look at it again..

I'm kinda pissed to be honest - the same darn event day in, day out. Exact same problem on server 18: almost no lower level players participating. I'm not blowing up my ships as many as 45 times, wasting rss, and speed ups.
Scopely could've opened up the PvP to include any system (like they did for the upper level players yesterday) I'd of hit 45pts maintaining RoE. OR they could have included hostiles as targets for the lower level players. (Something planned for the next phase).

That’s not how Khan works. The base takes increased damage from your ship when you attack it for the first 2 rounds by reducing the bases mitigation. In other words almost all your damage will hit the shields and hull with little mitigation by the base. He does not reduce the bases damage to you.

Question on Protected Cargo - So my D'vor without any officers has PTC of 6,500. If I put Joaquin as captain with Marla on the bridge, that is a 75% increase to PTC. I then add T'Pring who increases PTC by 100%. 175% x 6,500=11,375. So my total PTC should be my original 6,500 plus 11,375 which is 17,875. However, looking at details shows I only have 15,000 PTC. So I must be doing the math wrong. Any suggestions? See below for more details. FWIW, I don't think research is the answer because then the PTC with just Juaquin would be off. But that works. The rest don't compute. What am I doing wrong? Or it is a glitch?
• Base D'Vor PTC - no officers on bridge - 6,500 PTC
• Juaquin as Captain, no other officers on Bridge (50% boost) - 9,000 PTC. That makes sense. 6,000 x 150% = 9,000.
• Juaquin as Captain + Marla on Bridge, one empty spot. 75% boost - 10,000 PTC. Seems like this should be 11,375 since 6,500*75%+ = 4,875 and 6,500+4,875= 11,375.
• Juaquin/Marla (75% boost) + T'Pring (100% boost) - 15,000 PTC. Can't figure out where this comes from. 175% x 6,500 = 11,375. So total should be 11,375 + 6,500 = 17,875 not 15,000/
• No captain, T'Pring on bridge - 11k PTC. If T'Pring is a 100% boost to PTC, why isn't this 6,500x2=13,000?

No, I think the hidden morale bonus is intentional (though I'm told it's a mitigation thing) as there are other hidden effects with the other two effects.
I'm trying to remember the numbers now, testing my memory.. once you get 8 it stops letting you get more, you can get 9 if you collect when you're at 7, and 8 was the advertised limit on cells by Scopely 🤔 so basically scopely couldn't get it work right at 7.

Spock does shield regen, that's different. The loss of stats after combat drops your hull health back down, and the additional health from his stat boost can be more than your remaining health before it's taken off. Hence boom.

@ivory vortex @rugged carbon we are getting reports from our players that a lot of officer ability’s aren’t working on armadas anymore (normal and borg), the ones I’m talking about have previously been working till now.
Also I was using 7,8,9/10 as my borg armadas setup our the five I did, his ability didn’t not appear in my battle log. As borg officers they should work. At a 90% trigger rate he should have triggered at least once.

From what I've read, all systems level 31 or 32 and up in faction space should spawn scout ships. However, Terra Nova, a level 38 system in Federation space with Federation hostiles, never seems to spawn them. I have hunted hostiles in that system for hours and never seen a single one spawn, but I usually see them every 10-15 minutes in any other faction system where I normally hunt.

Our alliance has noticed officer abilities are not triggering in battle, even ones that should always be active. We are an alliance of upper 20s and low 30s and shouldn't have been effected by the high level nerfs from the last update.
Most likely as a result of this, we are only able to hit half the hostiles with the same crew and stronger ships than we could last week.

They work but you will see differences (huge ones) in battles depending on luck mostly.Because at the end of round 2/4 Borgmadas at least unc lvl25s can hit 4 times at the exact person which does a lot of damage.We did a lot of borgmadas and in one of them a single person got hit 8 times in 2 rounds which resulted him dying @verbal hawk

Three of us Kirk and Spock never activated and Kirk leader didn't either. Only our third officer (2 bones 1 decius) did activate.
One player had Kirk leader at beginning and last few rounds. Had officer abilities from whole bridge during rounds.

I have tons of screenshots of spock not working properly in armadas anymore. But it’s a question of maths. U can’t get this on one screenshot
Now we did a test and validated that:
- Morale is up for all but not displayed
- Zhou is up for all while morale but not displayed
- Spock is not up for all while morale
We counted the amount of regenerated shield of spock and the normal value considering the formula and individual defense.
For no player spock refilled the amount of shield which he should in the 30 rounds of morale up.
He refilled 13%-50% only of the normal value. He was not active for all players in all morale rounds

I’ll try here since it seems like my asking for help through the game is being ignored - The daily and leaderboard sheriff event, despite having the exact same scoring system, had two very different scores at the end of day one, with my leaderboard total being much lower. Alpha centauri is listed as requiring a warp range of 47. With Pike magnifying Scotty's abilities you can get the Saladin to a warp range of 48. and it does show that you're allowed to set course but when you try to it says that the warpath you have specified is invalid

yeah, but it may already be at +400%
so your getting +480% in that case
say your "base" speed is 100, and you already have +400%, that would mean a speed of 500, that +80% would only get you to 580
whereas with the latinum mining it's a strait +80%, so you end up with 180
does that make sense?

in this hypothetical, it's still only +80 speed difference, but it's a lot more than where you started
what i'm saying is that your research, officer abilities, etc all add their percentages together before being applied

take a base speed of 100, +60% from barot, +80% from 10 of 10, with no other things taken into account, if it were multiplicative, you'd end up at 288 (100 * 1.6 * 1.8), when additive, it's 240 (100 * (1 + 0.6 + 0.8))
when you factor in all the other mining speed boosts, you end up with +80% not really doing much to your total mining speed

pretty much everything in the game is an increase to the "base" stats
i agree it's somewhat misleading, but it's how everything is calculated in the game, so it's not exactly new

@panic Chen and Moreau don't trigger against hostile captains (combat missions) or other missions. Also, I don't believe Moreau ever triggered during an armada. There needs to be an easier way to know if an ability applies to player, mission/non-mission hostile, armada or all.
