they have tons of issues to deal with, they had to see how much could be fixed asap, the client stability being the most important

if the math is wrong serverside, it will not be part of the client update, and should be planned for the next maintenance update on the server

server updates focus on mines first, since this is a longlife ancient bug that needs to be adressed, account faults can always be fixed, and depending on the math applied and the patch, they could run a query, summing up the error, and returning it to you, once identified

they have logs of everything they did, and with proper sql queries, you can easily make the changes, reimbursing the player for the too much spend resources

#

so as long as you do not ragequit, you could see compensations

I do not see much different agent names, ok, in some cases they might be random, but based on what I receive, the agents with the same name reply the same style

After reading thru everyone’s replies, I noticed the most recent time and the last time I used instant repair, it used up twice as much latinum as stated. As an ‘influencer’, like everyone else, you are entitled to your opinions but unless Scopely addresses these issues, I will continue to look at them as nothing but a bunch of greedy thieves who put out a second-rate game and hire a third-party company to deal with support when they themselves can’t even give a straight answer when someone has a problem

@ivory vortex I don’t notice any speed increase with the new client, and I’m running on an iPad Pro with 4 GB of memory. In fact it runs SLOWER. Every time I transition there is the spinning wheel on the screen that takes about five seconds to transition - before this new client it was instantaneous <@&509691205798592532> (I even completely deleted the game and reinstalled it)

The new Android app opens the battle log pulled up slightly so you have to drag down to see the top item correctly. This bug was introduced in the most recent update.

There's an issue with base attacks.. I just got hit and the initial strike was 220k ship against my 450k base and i was one shotted and my ships don't show in the strength. Not only that, but I was taken down to zero parsteel. My protected limit is 136k

First off I'd like to thank the dev team for trying to fix the constant crashing. And while they've succeeded, I'm afraid the cure is worse than the bug.

The game now sort of locks up and wont let you cancel out of operations (see screenshots). What's worse, is that it won't force quit (iPad 6th gen 2018). It some how is able to keep itself alive, so you can't force quit and get it to reload when it gets stuck. I had to turn off my iPad and turn it back on to get the app to quit. Then I could load and recall my ships.

recruit chests have been getting frozen when opened. I opened a 3 standard chests, froze on me, restarted game, gave me a screen (see below) but could not do anything with it. had to restart again.

today, opened one premium chest, no problem, opened second one, froze again. restarted the game, no screen but recruit tokens are used.

This game is worse since update I don’t understand how they pledge to do things better but this game is so frustrating. Some of us spend so much money and then can’t even get our entertainment from it, how is this allowed. Tritanium and dilithium vaults are not working. Station was hit and all tritanium and dilithium was able to be looted. Parsteel vault worked perfectly tho. I didn’t shield because I thought vault would protect my resources, attackers would have gotten little if any had they worked.

If you shield then send a miner straight to node and clashes with someone who got there first your shield goes it is not a bug really
However there are stories that you being shielded and mining peacefully then get attacked by a weak miner who loses the fight the game sometimes registers you the winner as the aggressor and removes your shield
I do not know if it actually happens but it does seem on some rare occasions shields go missing when they shouldn't have

I no longer see help requests unless I restart the game.
Same with the timed rewards chests. They gray out until I restart.
Travel times are constantly changing.
I made 3 trips between the same systems with the same ship and the travel time was different each time.

Making reports to support is a waste of time as they make unrealistic demands of proof and generally refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem with the game at all.

The new app is slow and performance seriously degrades the longer it is open. My faction dailies are all buggered up since this weaksauce event started. The last few updates you guys have rolled out to servers have been utter failures -thank God I'm not on the Asia servers. Since the patch some of my teammates and Are seeing an increase in ship repair times. Almost as if all the research we did in the R and D went away.

So the update to “fix” glitches reminds me of whackamole with this company. LOL my app crashes every 5 - 10 minutes, chat is broken, still get stuck in warp where the Klingons pop my ship before the game reloads, have a glitches planet where you cannot hit any bases around it, refining is a total joke, 1 to 3 shard of uncommon goods every other day. I mean is Scopley ran by idiots and only hire morons for programmers? The Q&A proved the devs were tools. This company is a total cash grab! Try this each time you see stuck ship 'on air'.

Go to your profile, if it shows Chat button instead Settings, hit the Chat button.
Now you are able to chat with yourself, hit the upper bar, your nickname, and choose 'Block'.
Confirm it.
An error message pops up. Confirm it.
Go back to the game.
Now there is no more (for a few minutes only) Chat button. It solves (temporarily, I know), the purple base aswell.

Just try it. Sometimes, when I'm farming faction ships, and it gets stuck there, rather than to keep seeing how the Fighter will kill me easily, Fastly, I do that, and de-stuck my ship, so, once again, I'm safe.

@onyx bear I am very upset about the quality of your bugfixes and updates. You promised to speed up loading time and fix warp time counter after suspended Mode.
What I got is a 30 seconds stutter party every time I get back into the game after suspended mode and ships still stuck in warp 10 seconds or more before they finally arrive at the station. Problems like this should be visible in QA Phase, before Rollout. Do you even have a QA Departement?
I have quite a flagship of Smartphone (galaxy S9) and experience heavy stutters. Imagine player with lower specs.
Also I heard complains from ally members, who had a constant lag experience due to their Smartphone or Tab having only 2GB of RAM.
The new announced memory strategy should be something you need to be able to switch on and off in the setting menu. Why has the dev team not thought about that?
More settings would allow the user to adjust the game to their available Hardware.
You really need to change your release process. I am a software Developer and work on delicate Systems. Releases like that will eventually ruin every company.

I’d like to report two things. 1 game keeps closing itself since the last major EU server update/maintenance. 2 The Devena system shows all planets has one space left out of 16. I try to click relocate base but keep getting a station error saying station error all spaces filled. Got screenshots as evidence for this.

6 days now and my account is still not fixed; the game wants 430,000 trit to repair my tier 7 Kumari. The rss counter says 43K trit to repair it. 430,000 is not 43,000 (43K). The repair bill for my tier 7 Vahklas is similarly hosed up. Your customer service seems to have no tracking continuity considering the disjointed responses I’m receiving.

My station got hit and I didn't get the 5min sheild warning until it was too late; I had been hit three more times in 2 minutes after the sheild went down, then got the 5min warning 1 min after that. Lost all I had saved up for the past week!!!

You can see the tritanium count is obscured by the dilithium icon. You can’t read the rss amount. Push the repair button, there’s no turning back the tritanium is subtracted from your trit total. No wonder i was trit zero by last Friday night; 400,000 trit every repair bam millions are gone.

Unable to attack his base. Ships doesn’t register its existence; when I tried to move my base into the planet where his base is located and away once I failed to attack from inside, my base just locked in one place. The error says “not space” when attempting to move to every planets. 😡

I have lost so many hrs repairing ships that have been destroyed by fraction attacks due to warping glitches.
you cannot expect me to pay for a game with so many bugs.

so when are these whole new total Fawk ups going to get fixed, i am getting tired of having to restart my game after every couple hostile battles.
there is such a thing as ** TO MUCH RESOLUTION PARTICLES & EFFECTS **
especially when your platform is a phone or tablet and not a full blown PC.
layer on top of layer on top of layer on top of yet more layers, yeah it makes fantastic art effects, but sux monkey butt for playability.
to topit off we have players that are still locked out of their games, and have been free raided after having paid for thier rss, so please tell the DEVs to pull their thumbs out from what ever dark place they have them stored and fix things. because all this is going to equate to is a dead game real fast.

For days I tried to talk to scopely support, ingame and via their website, regarding a severe and exploitable flaw in the multiplayer-matchmaking system in STFC, serverside, cross-plattform, making it possible to access every base. If I don't here from support in the next 24 hours, I will publish the exploit. Just a heads up.

@twilit rampart I can answer your question. It would seem that defensive platforms are not adding any power whatsoever. I made a point of watching my strength as I finished upgrading one because I was curious how much increase they gave. It finished, I watched the numbers start to roll then flip back to the beginning and stay there. As power creep indicates, you must gain power. The same holds true for station events. In event info it states “1 power from building | 1 point”. Building is clearly an adjective, not a noun as some at support would like to convince us. If you don’t gain power from them you will get no points. This is was reported when our server was in beta by me and many others I’m certain. Upon full release, they did gain power and register in events. Lvl24 defense platforms were a massive 200 points. I only upgraded them once before the first server maintenance took place and from that point on they have not worked. This is the only logical reason why they don’t count. Not some of the outlandish reasons I personally have received. I won’t bother to repeat them at this time. Hope that’s not too long winded and put some clarity to your concern.

BUGS:

All the mining planets have 4 not working mining nodes. What an issue is this? Please fix not working mining nodes.
The games timer are of when doing mining. If you mine 18k of parsteel your vessel has still about 1300 to go but vessel timer displays 00. Please fix vessel minining timer.
The cruise is broken many times, Cruise ship starts mission conversation but vessel is still in travel all to gether. Vessel travel time displays 00 but vessel is stil on different planet while if you go to destination the vessel is repateley traveling there about 10sec trips to destination to away and to destination and so on. Not until the vessel travels on galaxy view complete to the destination you will get back the vessels control. Please fix vessel travel timiming system.
Sounds, victory and defeat boxes goes away, simialrry messages view fights me vs me even tho I am killing reds. Can be repeated when killing 40+ reds in a row, the message systems goes crazy, victories do not display anymore and sometimes the whole battle sounds go away.
Latest batch introduced reds to freeze somewhere in screen. You can not attack them and they don't go away similar than dead mining nodes.
And one more idea: Able to cancel a warp jump on next planet. Sometimes you have wrong ship on and you command it not over the galaxy to different faction and then you discovered that shit I commanded envoy from mines but I was thinking to send battlehip from base. Please Allow us to cancel spacejum in next planet.

Every base shield can be deactivated by an attacker by exploiting a bug that already existed prior to the most recent update. Your own base turning purple is just a side effect of that bug.

#

As I said before, if Scopely doesn‘t respond to my e-mails by tomorrow 12 CET I will publish the exploit by showing you how can circumvent a shield protection on every enemy base.

When you block yourself through that window, then the chat button dissapears from the profile window. It appears again Settings. And the base becomes again, on green.
It works fine... till the bug appears again. At least, under that way (instead to restart game) you are able through Settings, to submit a ticket about it.

I've stopped getting push notifications when my ships or station are attacked. This started with the client update a couple days ago. I'm still getting push notifications for other things, like buildings finished and shields expiring.

When will you fix bug with your own base being purple? I was attacked yesterday multiple times, and I did not receive ANY notification at all! Raided and 90% bases did not show bubble on first hit! Bases with ships and everything!

@ivory vortex @mighty panther There is a bug involving planet Zevis in the Atreig system. Some of my alliance members and myself tried to hit several bases on that planet and the attack wouldn’t go through. It gives us the option to attack, but when we do the ship just sits on top of the base. If you are under a peace shield and try to attack the same thing happens plus you lose your shield but still no attack. This isn’t fair. These guys are sitting there enjoying unlimited growth not even having to shield because no one can touch them.

If I am not online - you open game and your base is attacked, fortunately ships are not fully destroyed

Two of my ships have been stuck attacking a station for like a half of day now. Support just blew me off like there was nothing they could do to fix it. My game is literally broken and unplayable... The station I was attacking has moved and now it looks like my ships are attacking each other in open space

How about a planets that cannot be attacked. From myself and others, we tried different levels etc. How can these lucky few be allowed to grow without repercussion from others? Let’s say they are shielded and we cannot see it. How would anyone know if they accidentally allow that shield to drop? What is the point of PvP if a certain few get a free pass at unlimited growth?

Update came and went.
UI still Lags and Freezes
Maybe it will attack that hostile. Oh nope it laged, the hostile moved but my ship went there. Try again, oh wait, white screan and crash. Rince, repeat....
Is this going to get fixed today or is the UI freeze and crash issue not the Dev concern.
Just because all your fancy art and effects work on your bug computers, does not mean it will work on all devices, not every one can afford a $5000 phone nor would i want one.

It seems to kind of reset your game with all the stats you have. But in example all your officers are ”new” and stuff like that.

(You dont lose anything, just make sure you are logged into game center in-game 😃 and just in case take your player id screen shot before you do it... )

@native oyster I did that a couple weeks ago in hopes of fixing the many problems for iOS. Other than not fixing anything I wound up on a different server with a new account at level 1

trit node mines what it says it supposed to. Kbisch with t6 laser on envoy got me the 4920 stated on node.

I’m officially at the point of leaving my alliance so they can get my resources and I’ll quit. Constant crashing, swap ships crash, look for a base to raid crash. Swap a recruit crash, pm msg back to ac or gc crash. Look at system to mine and no nodes, back out reload nodes, message help desk. Go to check help desk crash. I have every other program on my iOS shut down no background either and it’s getting worse. 64 g phone at half capacity. This game had potential, ran fairly smooth in December! Now I spend more time looking at loading.

Yea no kidding, it’s a really nice phone but if you don’t need it no need to spend the money on it. I message support at least once a week. They’re even deleting my previous support tickets now. I have never had this many problems with any program, app, or game. I’m surprised Apple still has it in the App Store.

@ivory vortex @mighty panther Could i please ask if there is any fix on the horizon for the SHIELD bypass exploit that is repeatedly being used to raided players. They hit with miners and the 5 minute shield never activates and bases are stripped with nothing being done about it

@analog junco I can give you an honest response to that.. coding or programming is one of the hardest things to do in a platform like this. When you build new modules and introduce them its incredibly hard to know how the rest of the game will react. Whilst yes we do need a lot more testing before release, I think the idea of getting new content out to the people who deserve it, ie all of us , is such a factor that things are pushed before they are ready. I too am suffering from the bugs everyone else is but with all of us founders or betas we are so used to them its barely a tick. They will get to them as long as everyone reports them.

If you have the last update for IoS installed, google how to roll it back to the one previous. Mine was working fine until my device updated, then was unplayable after. After I rolled my update back for my device, the game worked again.

@dusk yoke I understand where you are coming from and yes it is difficult to program for sure making all the code gel. Keeping the game growing is always a plus but at what expense? On our server along, I see people that have been around a long time and spent a ton more than me just quit as they don’t see enough results to deem it worth staying

Had a peace shield activated last night. Never received an Android notification when it expired. Never received a notification when someone hit my base. Never received a notification when 20+ attacks stole everything I had saved up from several days of the daily rewards I paid for.

@ivory vortex that maintenance to fix mining speed issues broke the mining speeds for me.
I have been mining there for the last 2 hours and I'm not even close to the stated speeds.
Additionally I didn't have that issue with the mining speed previously
