context on this, we are aware of the issues with notifications (either not send, or delayed) - we do rely on a external tech to handle these for now, and realise it is not satisfactory. The team is crafting an in house solution (that's very much why we do not talk about an overnight fix on this front)

I hit the 2mm mark by the green progress bar at least and went an additional 10k+ to check but it won’t allow me to progress and since it only shows 1MM w no additional info once you pass 1MM factions points I have no idea if the progress bar is wrong or the functionality isn’t there yet

when hitting a 5k shield with 50k dmg - it should eat only 5k of thsoe and the remaining 45k should go onto the hull.
instead those 45k just "vanish" - it says "shield depleted" and thats it.
It's not right that a remaing shield with 1 hitpoint can fully absorb a 200k shot...

The level 17 hostile captain spawned in Suliban(35) for me - a Warp 40 system. I don't think that mission was intended to be accomplished only by a 30+ level player. It puts all the resources provided by that and the following missions out of my reach. Players with bases located in Vindemiatrix(15) have a 25% of this happening at any hostile captain mission level.

There is wide spread panic about the use of 1 day and 3 day base shields while waiting for the maintenance to complete. Our alliance leaders are telling us that if we have a ship out mining while one of those two specific shields are active and that miner gets attacked, the shield will fall and our base will be open to being raided and drained of it's resources. This is one of three issues with base shields that need to be addressed. The other two are ships heading for a mine while a shield is up won't step aside when arriving to find a mine already occupied upon arrival. This should occur if you didn't receive a prompt to attack when you set the destination. So currently, a player can move onto the mine right before you do and kill your shield. The last is the auto bubble not popping up when attacked. This problem seems intermittent, but may be related to the type of ship that attacks. The lack of an audible alarm makes it difficult to even know when that first attack hits but the lack of a shield is much more problematic.

so i have a huge question, the planet Zevis in the Atreig system has a bunch of players around it and no one can attack those bases...but they can go out and attack us. We have complained a few times and nothing is done...can we get this fixed...something is not wright about them being able to drain us but we cant do anything about it

@autumn socket I know about moving next to the mine, but sometimes a guy just sits right up close and when you go to exchange your miner with another to return cargo, they jump on and blow your shield.

So when i am battling a station or collecting resources, i change the chats to alliance but when i open it up to speak it brings me to galaxy chat and not Alliance even if i go to a different system or go inside my station

@sacred anchor If you don't lose your ship after 50 rounds of battle (see the battle log in the report), then the ship with the most hull remaining is the winner. The other is just hovering. What they do need to implement is a push off the mine so your ship isn't hovering over it. They blocked us from double-tapping on a mine to hover over it, so they need to finish that en-devour with the losing ship sliding off to the side.

I imagine the reason for cutting off the battle after 50 rounds is to ensure all the data about the battle is sent to both parties in the time given for the battle animation. If the battle continued until there was a destroyed ship, this data may become too much to send in time.

Not sure this bug is as bad as shields falling which I have seen based that have no shield but won’t let you attack. But on a more annoying note I have noticed when you upgrade your dry dock so you can upgrade your defense platform the dry dock counts toward any station event including the weekly challenge we have now. How ever when you upgrade your defense platform which is part of your station it does NOT count towards your station points on the daily’s or other special events. Can anyone explain why? <@&509691205798592532>

Level 29 hitting level 20 however level 20 cannot hit Level 29. I have reported this to Scopely and they said “it’s out of their control” 🙄 wait what. You’re suppose to make things balanced. “Thanks for reaching out to us again. I'm really sorry to hear that people just run around and try to spoil the fun for our players. But as much as I'd like to stop this from happening altogether, there is nothing we can do as Player to Player interactions are out of our control and it is entirely up to the players as to what they do while they're playing.”

you should not be able to use speedups on repairs when being below 5 minute mark.
Unfortunately client does not sync very accurate and when your alliance helped to push it under the 5m mark - you might not see it and waste a speedup.
This should not be possible, as you can clearly not use a speedup when being below 5 minutes and your client being synced correctly.

So what server should do is check if you are below 5m - and in case you are, just sync, so you can use the free one

Buildings that trigger rewards when upgrading - like academy or refinery - do not trigger those rewards if you aren't in "Interior" station view

Been having a pretty consistent issue where after relocating my base, when I send my ships somewhere the game thinks my ships are still at the old location, even though it shows them as "home"

If I force close and restart the game then they're back where they should be, otherwise it might be a 10-15 minute warp where they never actually arrive because the game doesn't know where really are

@heady lava Probably it is some kind of trick, bug-exploit.

I think, if someone hits you, and then leaves his alliance, and then, he creates a new one, and then, he changes the letters of the alliance... he will not appear in your reports.
It is what I think once I perceived from an attacker that I was tracing him by the Top 100 Power Players.

He attacked my station, and the report was there, he left the alliance. He created one. He changed the letters of the alliance. When I, again checked the Inbox, his report was not there.

Within some terms, they are forced to ensure all battle reports are there, while not reaching the inbox limit. It doesn't matter, if you 'need' them or not. It is your native right, their obligation, in this case.

But, due probably you have been hunted some mobs for dailies, even if they could restore that report... probably could be 'lost in time', due the inbox limit.

Under my tests, it helps to clear just the language cache.
Often, I switch between German and English.
Sometimes, I see 50% English, 50% German at once.
Hitting that button, it seems, helps to "restart" the language, more efficiently.
But it is some sort of 'funny' button, because the technology about languages and HTML/XML tags, are older, than older are.
So, why this game needs such button in 2019?

@atomic cloak The intent of the game is to tactically choose your ship. This defeats the biggest limitation of the NS. I'm not for exploiting bugs but scopely folks put it that way for a reason. I'd rather it be fixed personally. The node is the limit it would seem.

When you see the "Chat" button, instead the "Settings" one, just restart the game.

It works for... some minutes. Then, it loops. (Aswell the purple base / the Me vs Me reports, etc). All of those are related to the same moment, being these lasts (messed reports) just 'optional' bugs.
As a way to say:
When our base appears in purple, the Chat buttons appears, instead "Settings" (under our profile).
But only when this happens, it is when the report bug could appear. Settings button? then no "Me vs Me" reports, and/or "Station vs Me" when we were the defender.

So, one different thing is to not to be able to see any kind of report about some attack vs our station, and other thing is about 'messed' reports.

Once again, restarting the game will solve (sadly, for some minutes only) the messed reports + Chat button + purple base + etc...

Maybe, and only maybe, it could be related about switching between tabs/apps/programs. Some shared memory area when, at a given time, those bugs could appear.

Can someone tell me where my automatic shield was when my station got hit twice in a row? There was no damage prior to this attack. The automatic shield never did turn on. Frustrating!

Be sure, your miner (possibly) didn't hit another player's ship in a mine, you know, those moments when we send a miner directly to a rock.
If you did it, then, you are the attacker, so, bye bye shield with no previous popup/warning.
If you send a miner/whatever the ship... to a mine, and at the end, the mine is busy and you reach the spot... bye bye your shield.

@native oyster I wasn't shielded previously... And I have battle reports that go back 5 hours. I'm talking about the shield that's supposed to pop up and protect you for 5 min after your station is hit. That never happened.

Then hopefully your station will be 'resetted' in terms about that 'strange' status

As a way to say:

It seems, under your local app, it is normal, but in the server, just opposite condition in that 'status'. So, your base 'status' and the same info on the server, just varies.

So, finally, the server doesn't allow you to move. Because the priority always is the info in the server, not in your local app.

Try the "Clear" the Localization cache button.

When will the bugged planets be hotfixed, that prevents stations from being attacked? Lost shields on those which support refuses to refund (or give me the resources I would have gained).

Ships seem to be capped when collecting rss from mines and bases. Example North Star has a cargo limit of 7920 yet cargo seems to be capped at 6000. Envoy and ECS are capping too

When you see You vs You, just restart game. It will be again correct (real). Sadly, within some minutes, it comes bugged, but still got a chance with those reports.
The bug as mother bug, is related with your base, being shown in purple instead green.
Then, at same time, under your profile, it appears Chat instead Settings button.
If it says Chat, maybe, and only maybe, you could see those kinds of Me vs Me reports. But for sure, always we restart the game, those purple/Chat/Me vs Me issues, got solved... till next loop.

And not, your stats are not being affected when you see 'false' or just 'messed' reports.

Yur stats are only handled correctly, just the reports, as far end, seems messed. But the original data in the server, are correct, just real ones. Some sort of "I send you the data of the report, but dunno why, at the end, you get it badly sorted" issue is happenning.
Aswell with those temporary bad reports about you vs Station, and sometimes Your station vs Yourself.

Sometimes yes, but not always. My issue with those ships. Always my NS could attack and fill its cargo to the max available. But envoys are not allowed to enter the enemy station.
It shows the dance-fight-motion, but at the end, no fight, so, no report. No damage, no cargo won.
Stuck for 5 extra more seconds (dance = 5, + 5 more).
So... patience till they one fine day could solve them.

And they will say about:

Hard Reset your phone.
Localization button (clear Localization cache).

We tried those mthods in Phone/Tablets etc.
The bug is unexpected.

I think they are trying some kind of limitation at the time to attack someone, as some way to protect the victim, in some way.
But at least, the fight system must show a popup with info. We are not divinators/Fortunetellers...

4th time in a row my miner got shot over night and my envoy did not bring home the protected cargo. That’s the bug. But to be told by support that I should guard my miner with a battleship and that they can’t do anything about the protected cargo is just very poor customer service.

When Instructor Spock is at max, but not promoted. Standard recruit packs will try to give you another Instructor Spock, but you get short a shard or more. I’ve spent several days with your in game support, and they still are not getting it.

@ivory vortex I found an huge translation mistake in the French version of the game. It says that Helvia's ability increases cargo size by 75%... which is wrong... and misleading ... since it improve warp speed by 75% if the cargo is empty

@@ivory vortex and one thing I forgot to mess forgot to mention them a message earlier is the link betwe en the real world and the game world the notifications it doesn't work I play this app through Google and it could take up to 2 to 3 hours just to get the notification through that the cargo Bay is full or you're being attacked you don't get a notification that somebody for attacked you I play this game both on Wi-Fi and on normal 4G networks every time I switch from one to the other I get delayed notifications sometimes even 2013 notifications and event progress the cargo base full or I'm in a fraction area where I'm not supposed to be in the romulans are attacking me when I switch from Wi-Fi to phone signal when I switch my phone signal to Wi-Fi it happens the same

Ok you may not know this from mutiple reports but since the open this game scoopy helps and chest and even collecting resources have been bugged. Helps request stop shows have reset. When like repairing a ship they some dont count untill you use a speed up. The boxes get bugged and stay at 0. And i wasted 300 latinum on a day speed up trying to collect production that was bugged that keept showing buffing. Which kind of sucked.

Joy in Vengance only activates when enemy ship is burning

with Nero you need your ship to hit the enemy to generate the chance of activation so yes, would only become effective 2nd round

Hi!

My max Warp is 33.
I can see Traders till level 36 in Romulans and Federation factions, but Klingon Traders from level 29 till "Max 33 Warp Systems", never seen before.
I see no Klingon Traders from level 29. (Included).

Tested.

And, from any faction, I can see Traders from level 29 till 33 (both included). No faction traders in those levels.

Is this a known bug/feature? Thx in advance.

Just restart game. It works fine till some minutes later, it loops. That means, it appears again that Chat button instead Settings one.

In the moment you see your station on purple (plus, you are able to read your own player name there) instead green, it appears the Chat button bug, and it starts aswell the possibility from now on, to see those weird Me vs Me reports.

Hi had a bug today. Purchased a 1 day shield for my alliance. Costing 200. Posted to the group and asked how many got the shield. NO ONE ! Can someone look into this. Hi, I am aware of an issue ya’ll need to correct. Dead Nodes! I believe the incidents of dead nodes is increasing, slowly but increasing never the less. Took a survey of just Elona where there are 45 nodes. There are now 9 dead nodes. That’s 1 in 5 or 20%. This needs correcting.

Err...close the game then when not playing. Its a large game and uses lots of phone resources....phone being the key. Its more efficient on a newer tablet... not much better on a newer phone though as battery sizes have not changed much in the last few years. Im on a Note 5...only get about 4 to 5hrs if the app is open...16hrs if its not. Facebook is worse...an hr looking at feeds and vids and 50% battery gone.

Why am I constantly being shown as defeated after successful raids? Also, battle logs are consistently wrong (for a start I cannot fight myself) and, all my resources keep vanishing without being used for builds etc - have lost close to 1m parsteel. Getting really fed up with this

Restart game. It works for some minutes, then, it starts again.

LoL Just found a way to revert the Chat button issue, to Settings button again (but it will be Chat within some minutes again):

When you are in a hurry to enter "Settings", but you see "Chat" button, press the Chat button, to chat with yourself (Yes, I know... it sounds so... 🙄 )
Then, hit your name where it appears, as title.
Block yourself (Yes... I know... it sounds so... 🙄 ). Press "Confirm".
It will throw you this error (+/-):

Then, for some minutes, your "Settings" button, will appear, instead the "Chat" button.

It is not a fix... but it works always... if you are in a hurry, and not enough time to restart game... why not. (Yes... I know... it sounds so... 🙄 )

Till Support Team/Developers, not fixing this... just try it! 👍

*Note: It solves too (temporarily), the purple base + the reports, style "Me vs Me" and so. But only for some minutes, as if it were some kind of "login reset".

Well I got a pack and that’s me in the picture. Check the pvp ratio. Hardly a bully and definitely not a cheat. I’m a grade A plodder. Been playing for a long time and I just shuffle along each day mining and refining. Not big into pvp, only hit when I get hit etc. and I’m a f2p player. Very average level on my server. Certainly nothing to get excited about. Most of the troublesome players are twice my power. And more than three times my ships

This refinery nonsense is absolute horse crap!! Nothing I can build, no research I can do, I’ve been stuck for almost 2 weeks trying to refine enough gas for my lvl 19 R&D, and I’m getting deliriously screwed by refinery drops. 3k, 15k, doesn’t seem to matter, I’m getting jack.

Yes, refinery is very very poor unless you are significantly past level 20 for 2* or level 30 for 3*.

If u think 2* is bad, you aint seen nothing yet.

Try doing 75k x3 twice a day and getting 1 uncommon every couple of days. The RNG BS is real

Hmm... so I just took my North star out for a spin to fed space and blew up some fellow trade ships with Helvia and Domitia onboard as officers, 1.5 mins to get there due to Helvia's empty cargo boost. But the return trip took 3 mins+ even though I had full cargo....

Also, since you got my player ID just a couple of messages above, I want to identify a planet on our system that you can't hit bases on. Any base around Atreig/Zevis [S:719474967 X:-329 Y:-607] exhibits this exploit. Bases without bubbles cannot be attacked if you click the attack button. Your ship just hovers over them and goes idle.

Tried killing tons of ships of different types between 30-35, tried different zones and different areas I have had this quest for at least two days now. All my other kill quests work I have finished my dailies twice while trying to figure this out. @reef inlet are you on an Asian Pacific server? if you are, this issue is known, it is related to the maintenance update that kinda went wrong, only the affected servers have this bug. Please make a note of your player id, contact support, and tell them you have bug that is related to incorrect protected cargo after the last failed maintenance update on the AP servers. Tell them clear localization will not have any influence on this, it is a serverside bugs, and that the people on discord told you to contact them

If it says 0:00, just click on the system where you were aiming at. Through the 'Go' button. It will 're-warp' 100% times. As a way to say: "If it seems it never reaches, just make it to remember where the ship was going at". And the ship will reach the original given coords, not the last 'ones'.

If you were recalling a ship, just click on your station system, whatever the place, and hit again "Go" button. It will show you some 'error' on screen, but it will force to re-warp in an automatic way. And the ship will reach your station again, not the last 'random coordinates' we gave it.

@quartz patrol I am reporting it as a BUG that is also being exploited by the player.....Scopely refuse to ban this player for exploiting this bug which last i checked was against the TOS they have also refuse to fix it. this player is one of the worst on our server, and laughs because no one can raid him back.,.... so yeah its time for something to happen to him.

I’m having to clear cache and/or force close the app way too often. Sometimes every few minutes. If I don’t, I miss alliance help requests, can’t target a station, ships get dumb about where they are in system, if they are at warp or at rest, if they are engaged in battle. When is this going to be fixed? Same problems for a few months now but seems it’s only getting worse.

Base attacked and destroyed and taking protected base resources, no hits on record but of one NAS envoy being destroyed by base defenses, sounds like a realta base attack exploiter or exploiters violating TOS exploiting glitchs upon players.

About that realta base glitch, all involved hitting someones base should be banned too, because anyone could create a new alt and use it to crack the base and others exploiting its glitch. I believe it was used at first followed by its owners acct followed by exploiters in its alliance

Glitchs used in game by players vs players is just plain violation of TOS exploit abuse they all agreed not to use

Nearly every time I hit a base, I send a Realta first to pop the bubble and see if anyone is home / repairs immediately. That way it costs me virtually nothing if they are there, and then I move on.
Most often, the 5m bubble is popped. Sometimes I get lucky and no bubble BECAUSE someone else has already popped it within the last 8 hours; once that 5m bubble is gone, you don’t get another one for 8 hours. So, my second hit 5 minutes after sending Realta generates NO BUBBLE.

@knotty moat unfortunately it is quite common, your attacker most likely had many further attacks after hitting you and this causes the attacks on you to drop off your logs. if you raise a ticket with support they can look at server logs and tell you who the attacker was

I had such issue. And I had no further attacks to clear logs, just had no notifications and reports. But support answered me about attackers when I message them.
