So how is it that some players can attack players of a much smaller scale but others can’t. I realize this is a PVP and not that I believe in farming significantly smaller players. If I am going to attack someone it’ll be someone who has a fighting chance, but I’ve experience players 25x bigger than me farming me. Related to this is a game mechanics flaw though with the peace shields. Rightfully I can’t attack other players when the peace shield is active, but my ships are attacked, I should be at least able to retaliate.

its based on level, not on power level. peace shields protect the station and docked ships. ships in the wild can still be exploded
this is important because otherwise you could grief mining nodes with no retaliation

Can the recruit boxes be fixed please? Sulu has no further promotional component but the recruit box STILL gives his shards as an option and then replaces it with 1000xp. Problem is, they show 1000 remaining to be mined, and never counts down. Because they are sub-L10, I can't attack to bump, or reach out to chat because mining. Ideas?

I think Joey is right: he must have 500 points. I'm Level 23 and I was limited to 100 points when I reached 200 points in the Personal Event. in my alliance: there is also someone who must have 250 points and was limited to 200 points.

The leaderboard is based on the 6 hour events it will be running every 6 hours most likely. The leaderboard is calculating the total trophies attained per event. Each point for the leaderboard is 1 trophy ( only attainable through carnage 6 hour event) I am capped at 200 trophies per event when the advertisement says it should be 500.
So yes I believe I have the correct grasp of mechanics for this event. We can leave it to a dev to tell me I’m wrong.

Yea for the Solo event he should be getting 250 trophies, so guessing you should have a higher rate or another tier level on top, which obviously you don’t have.
Or the prizes should be higher in each tier.
There is a difference between te point and trophies. The point is what you need to attain the trophies per Tier.
If you complete all the tiers you will get the total amount of trophies. So I’m 23, I should be getting a total of 100 trophies for the full event,
Anyone lvl 24-26 should be getting a total of 250 trophies as the rewards for completing all the tiers. Maybe it should have an extra points tier to get get that extra amount not sure.

I have two members of my alliance who were exactly the same as me and who got their rewards. If you look at the Official Discord you will find that many people are in the same situation as me. I spoke with Q2 of your team before the end of the event too.
The condition to unlock the reward was to finish the operation 23 before the specified end! What I did while spending something like 5000 Latinium! 3:00 before the end!
It's really disrespectful to your players what you do! you did not look at the screenshots I sent you or read my message.
Can you please hand me a chest with the reward to which I am entitled or give me back the 5000 Latiniums spent.

Why is there a lack of compensation when a genuine bug is reported and acknowledged?? In practically every other game i play, if a bug is found , either by player or dev then there is immediately compensation issued, granted it’s not always very much but it’s all ways done.
I couldn’t compete in any daily events/missions excetera for 4/5 weeks after the merger due ‘being stuck in 2 alliances glitch’, I lost out on millions of resources but when it was finally fixed, my query about any kind of compensation for sticking with the game even tho it was practically unplayable for me during that time wasn’t even considered?

@onyx bear curious if the event issue of lvl 27s not getting 500 trophies per event is being looked at or not. I brought it to the attention of scopely support. As per advertisement states that lvl 27s are in the bracket of 500 trophies...I have been receiving a maximum of 200 trophies...seems a bit weird this wouldn’t have been fixed almost instantaneously. Keep asking for an update but I get the “were looking into it”. Can we please get a confirmation that this going to change soon and that the players that have completed all the events are going to get the missing trophies?

It’s stupid. They nerfed the warp and didn’t adjust mission, stars or other things. So it mucked everything up. And Feds get screwed ., Feds have less stars that rapidly increase in warp distance vs other 2 with more stars and a slower warp curve.
yeah 92 down to 38 is a kick in the chops still hurts but have gotten some of it back, can understand it they need to have the higher systems available to grow the story hard to do that when we are all flying around the place up in the high numbered systems

Probably repetition but I have three missions (one per faction) asking me to kill hostiles in a system but the hostiles don’t exist. How do I complete these missions? Example is Sona Pirates in Jeuaiei (mission Cleanup) and removing “hostiles” from Vulcan even though the only ships there are Federation vessels.

Has anyone else had a problem with opening multiple officer chests? The game seems to forget to store the contents of each pack before moving onto the next. I saw one officer tick up from 14 to 15 frags, then on the next pack it ticked from 14 to 15 again. The summary at the end of the opening said I’d only received one frag for that officer.

Yea it's either a display bug or an odd design choice, but you will notice each subsequent chest seems to have more items than the last. It doesn't, the extra items are just the duplicate items you are seeing. If you press open all instead it produces no issues

And a 100% decrease would mean instantaneous, while 125% is time travel technology.

This is how I calculate it:
Initial time - New time = Time difference

So let's say it takes 24h to tier up my ship, and I have a 25% boost:
24 * 0.25 = 6 hours
24 - 6 = 18 hours
it would now take my ship 18 hours to tier up with a 25% boost.
Same scenario:
24 hours, but this time using their "increased speed" method I have a 100% boost.. what would my new time be and how do I calculate it?

lets make it a 25% boost for easier math. this means every 4 seconds you get 1 more second done. so a 24hr research is 86400 seconds. divide that by 1.25 to account for the boost and you get 69120 seconds. which is 19.2 hours @stiff geyser

Do not use this officer when base raiding.if you die, it will jam the battle timer. His hull heal can fire AFTER combat. In npc or player ship combat, this “resurrects” your ship with 10-15% health. This is not supposed to happen. If you die to a base and this triggered, the server gets confused and jams the battle timer. I’ve confirmed this 10 times now. @native oyster @onyx bear

@native oyster my reasoning was based on that the fortunate can’t get far enough into Klingon space for the game to figure out that the “shorter” route is actually viable, and therefore just looks at what it thinks is the shortest path. The envoy however can get almost all of the way via Klingon space but stops just short. Therefore the game is saying, you’re close but not close enough, however the warp distance from where I got to you and where you are going needs.....

How cpme when I attack a base it doesn’t seem to empty the base, my envoy holds 121k, I have to keep@attacking the base and it only loads about a 1000 at a time.

@charred thunder You've then reached their protected RSS limit - once your Survey is no longer doing full loads of cargo, there is no more to take. Move on to another raid.
At level 17 they've already unlocked some vaults and are doing some Protected RSS research - you can't blast through that.

I do not know yet what will become of the alliance. The priority at the base is the French players. I look to give the keys of the alliance to someone motivated, but I think that my departure may demotivate more than a person. I still have a week for the "transition". As DND says, Scopely is going to lose much more than just a "small" fair and honest pack. It was not just the alliance I was taking care of, but the francophone community that I was setting up. Many have already managed to get their purchases back. And I am tempted to spread the "easy" approach to follow the entire community ;-). I'll see if anyone wants to take over all that. Steven, I'll tell you what comes out of my next discussions.

Yes, frankly, we go beyond the "stupid" situation. The worst thing is that they keep repeating: "We checked thoroughly!" While it was enough for them to watch 5 seconds my screenshots and the date of my first message! If it's not contempt, incompetence, bad faith and dishonesty ... I do not know what it is ...
It's really the last element that decided me to stop the game. There is obviously not only that. At least I'm going to have fun on other things. There, it was clearly no longer fun 😉

But for me, it's too late. Their scorn, which I consider an insult, will be my last contact with Scopely. I want to say that I appreciate the work of Q2 here. @stiff geyser It would seem your favor with the Rom's is quite low (understandable) and you're getting attacked by NPC's. That's how it goes. Keep your eyes on the map when in Faction Space if you're Untrustworthy or lower. They'll track you and attack... albeit it slowly - so, you can easily squirm away.

The current rates are working as intended and they improve as you level. However, the team will be regularly monitoring player progress. As Game Designer Keenser said in the QA, there will be a gradual balance to dial in the games economy (including mining and refining rates) as the game evolves and grows, however there will not be a massive overnight change.

@arctic quail You're doing smth wrong here... My 50K ship has at max 1h 15 when it is destroyed. A half repair would be 40 minutes. Upgrade your drydock and do ship repair time reduction research. (:

@arctic quail also; opening pve crates, doing dailies and active alliance help does reduce ship timers by a lot. None the less the game will always have such exponential timers. Try to utilise multiple fight ships if one is repairing.

there are guys on our server that are level 34 with fully completed Enterprise (1.6 million strength) that can take days to upgrade and repair ... it is just how the game works ...

@arctic quail you miss the point ... warping in the galaxy takes longer the higher the level you go ... there are officeers, research, and levelling up ships to help speed that up too ... it is simply how the game works
We have been in deep space (level 45+ systems) where it can take minutes to travel between two adjacent systems

Good day all. I had commendations 4 in the Klingon faction and then all of a sudden I had -789. Scopely informed me that this was intentional to balance the servers. Sadly I mentioned that out of 62 people in my alliance why was I the only one this happened to? I received a reply stating that the game is functioning properly. In the meantime all of my other factions are in the negative and I cannot go anywhere without getting attacked. I am level 27 and having done the low level and moderate even missions I cannot complete any missions now due to the warp drop and naturally not being able to enter Klingon space without getting obliterated. Not to mention losing over 10 days worth of commendations 4 items from the faction store. Can anybody assist with this Thank you in advance

I came here to find out about the lost horizons mission also... It sucks that we have to wait until 22, but what I really need, is to get rid of the mission banner on the lower left of my screen until I can complete it

Hi. I'm in DWUK a top 3 alliance in the EU and we have a problem. Our admiral has been AWOL for weeks now and we desperately need to 1) change the notification board 2) move admiral to commodore and move an active player to his slot. Creating a new alliance whilst an option would leave a particular bad taste in our mouths considering the financial investment many of us have put into the game, I personally not be willing to reinvest at this stage and I doubt others would either. I understand that the current situation is that changing the board is tied into the admirals abilities and there is no mechanism to change it within the UI. However I am more than sure there is a way to change it manually in the backend services and I am formally and publicly requesting this change be made, please contact me to facilitate this change - thanks

Sadly good luck with anything. Unfortunately the support staff are uneducated with the game. Having said that I wish Scopely would educate their support staff so they are able to assist us more confidently and have the ability to give us better advice.

Attacking bases has a bug where a base gets too much defense power. 2 attacks 1 second after each other shows the power left after attack 1 and the looking at screenshot 2 you see the power at the start of attack 2 (1 second later) nearly all damage done was repaired in 1 sec...

Once all the buildings in the base are destroyed, every attack should be against the empty (ex guns) base power. I.e the bottom white bar (these are your guns / defence)
In attack 1 you took away X shield and did Y damage (white bottom bar)
In attack 2 you also did X shield damage but more damage to the guns
Overall, i see nothing wrong with this. Working as designed. Guns will always defend. The user can rebuild orher buildings if they are around.

I am noticing a lot of bugged mining nodes in 2* Crystal sectors. There will be up to 6 mining locations that are not minable (the scanning "circle" just continually spins when you try to select it). This happens in Bellas and Nelve for me. I don't know if it is device, server. etc.

Yes, but I found a workaround. Turning the device upside down makes it appear top left instead of bottom right, meaning I can see the bottom and accept the terms, however it should probably still be looked into!

@native oyster I know the history is in the server somewhere, as when I pm someone that I've spoken to before, then restart the game, that chat history reappears! Clearly a bug, and one (of many) that desperately needs fixing.

Also, I have bought the research pack stating +100% research speed and got only the Prime Resources one. I tried contacting customer support but they just said - you bought Prime Resources, we don't care about what it said, suck it up. And that considering I already had Prime Resources unlocked prior to getting the pack. Not spending a dime more on this game as you never know what you're going to get.

It was the equivalent of the $5 one, and It’s completely unclear from the overall description that the contents need to match research requirements, unless you go in the small i icon on the top right, which I completely missed. When buying I was completely under the impression that it will be unlocjed automatically and the resources and stuff inside is just a bonus. I was going by the description up top.

like im fine hiding prime research packs until the research is actually unlockable, but i dont like them getting rid of cheap packs when you buy more expensive ones, and I dont like hiding certain prime research packs until youve bought others as well

@native oyster I just lost faction missions. Started today to do dailies and finished first Klingon daily mission : Klingon miner, collected the reward but after that I lost 3 other daily faction missions . Klingon Excavator (mining) and 2 Klingon missions kill Rom or Fed hoslitles. Wrote ticket to support . Without faction missions I cant complete top daily tasks and collect final tier rewards. Is it possible to get daily rewards from support in case they don't fix my faction missions on time?

Got one more question for everybody here regarding Combat Veteran mission. This is player progress mission all have and it should test your skills as you progress through the game. SO when you are lvl 15 you kill some Hard NPC to test your skils.. on 16 you get another one and so on... When I was lvl 14 I got my combat Veteran mission lvl 14 locked behind level 40 Warp system. I asked in Galaxy and in Guild chat all other players have their Veteran Combat missions on same level as they are or +-1 depends on how good their ship is. I am now lvl 24 and still have my lvl 14 mission locked in warp 40 system. ALL other players on my server don't have this issue. Can you help me with that ? What should I do ? Rewards are officer shards and resourcess and I feel disatvantaged compared to other players . @native oyster (sorry for the tag) but just when you can drop me advice on what should I do. Thanks in advance.

Skoko, same issue, reported 2 3 weeks ago. Answer is they are aware and are looking in to it. So probably in a year it will be resolved. The root cause seems to be that the end boss is put into the system connected with your home base with the highest level. So if you're unlucky to be in say Vindimiatrix at the time of finishing the previous stage - you're end boss will be put in Sulliban 😃

as a general rule of thumb I'd say : If you have a lot of resources, use shields when you're offline or as soon as you get attacked if you're online (you have 5 minutes to react to an attack)
if you don't have resources you don't care if you get attacked

@snow hinge The best suggestion I have for you is not to level up until you have built your defense. Defense first until it becomes strongest than any ship on max level (from that table) that can hit you and 20% more. Then you are safe. It is a pain to level up for sure but patience is the name of the game .

The tritanium and parsteel mines in the new systems on what I'm assuming is the Asia-Pacific server don't let the ships mine them to zero. The ship stops mining after are short amount of time and just sits there while the mine still has plenty of resources

Every system I have ever mined always will go to zero, the displayed countdown timer doesn't work and sometimes you receive a notification that you have emptied a mine when you haven't, i assume some just jump on and recall when they get that alert without checking which leaves mines with small amounts sitting there.

My miner will stop mining with thousands of resources left and I have to either go to another mine or move and repark on the same mine. Then it happens again. This only happens in the new systems that were added about a month ago and only in the ones that are around level 20-28
I have started mining in different systems to avoid this happening but I thought this was were you report bugs so here I am, reporting a bug

I personally have been mining in the new systems and haven't seen that issue. The broken timer and alerts are my only issue.

I have an issue that the Alliance Help requests sometimes stop triggering until I kill and reload the app - then suddenly like 5 -10 pop up.
Additionally I have all the time the bug that the screen becomes unresponsive after I add the last component to the ship that the Tier up is available - the animation passed but the interface does not unlock

@ the devs.... just joined discord so you've probably heard all these before, but the bugs I experience as folllows:
- Milestone Achievement repeating bug... almost constantly
- on ipad all PM chat threads disappear after 1 day, but are always visible on the iphone version of the app
- periodically, access to Daily Missions log is blocked with [must reach level 3 to unlock] message... I'm Lvl21
- Warping about the place is laggy.... when entering a system you've never really sure you're there until you stop moving... and even then sometimes you glitch backwards and slow to a stop again, and again, and again
- Notifications badges remain on Alliance icon in bottom left corner even after you've collected whatever the notification was for

The officer abilities are still buggy... Vel says captains maneuver: dilithium hunter - gives 25% extra dilithium when attacking hostiles... but you do not get the extra dilithium and battlelog say:

I lead one of the top PVP ranking alliances within my server and seeing this makes me sick. There is no legitimacy to this event when people within an alliance at attacking one another to cheat the system. Why even have this event? What is the point? I am seriously regretting into putting money into this game.

Unless Scopley said implicitly you could not trade kills, I wouldn’t call it cheating. It may not be in the spirit of the event, but the goal is the same: spend money on repairs. Even if it wasn’t allowed, Scopley cannot even manage Galaxy Chat, so I have no faith in them to do anything about this except to cause one of crew members to randomly disappear and then offer them as reward for the event. Time to hunker down and enjoy a three day break I guess.

Players can leave an alliance - use their miners - with only one officer on board and allow their alliance to grind points... when the player then rejoins they have the exact same point they left with. With the other player then doing the same thing and repeat.
