Allow officers from the same faction (Ej. Cadets, Section 31, Enterprise crew) to have synergy.
Since in the series these officers are from the same faction, it is only logical to allow them to have synergy. Faction synergy
Players like to mix and match. Should not be an issue to have T'Laan provide synergy to Pike and Moreau. They are Federation after all! Or have all Romulan officers receive "Romulan Faction synergy" (like Nero crew & Romulan Patriots)
-You do not see an issue in the series with Carol working with Kirk on the same ship.
-Neither section 31 officers working with other officers in the Federation.

Since rss needs are nuts beyond a certain level; so could you please introduce a “swapping system” of sorts;
Par for tri for dili, in a 1:3:5 ratio!and other way around:
1 dili gives 3 tri gives 5 par, and vice verca...?
You can also do this for ship parts - X amount of 1* give X amount of 2*
X amount of 2* gives X amount of 3*
You can also reverse it so trade 10 3* to get 15 2* etc

Make a event that gives out blue prints for ships based on level, 12-15s get jellyfish bps, 16-17s get Franklin bps 18-21 get Northstar bps, 22-26 get vidar bps, and everyone else gets one of those ships if they don't have them, and if people have them, then they get a lot of credits of their choosing, for event rewards
Also, allow us to repair multiple ships at the same time, move ship tier ups to the shipyard
And add a market for us to trade resources, materials, blue prints, and credits with each other

How about a player bio page as many players have personal agreements with other players, at the moment all we have is alliance bio pages which doesn't help with personal agreements as the alliance bio pages are only used to show the alliance agreements with other alliances
It would make things more transparent has most alliances have multiply diplos and not enough space to list everyone if we had player bios, players can state on the bio page if they are a diplo for their alliance or not so player will know if they are talking to a diplo or not
I am a diplo for my alliance and have multiply personal agreements with players and no way to show them
I have an idea to further add on the new enhancement of the ability to set another alliances as allies. Right now it is very one sided and you have to rely on the other party to set you as allies as well. What would make sense is when you set the alliance as "allies" that it sends a message to Commodores and Admirals to either approve or deny. When approved, you get the purple all heart symbol. When rejected, a msg comes back stating such
Alliance markers are really cool. Can we get an Orange or Yellow "Caution" status? For those alliances that aren't out-right enemies but you need to keep an eye on?⚠️

Could we have brackets for all these events ? A tad unfair, like most in this game, for someone that has 3 docks to compete against with someone that has 4 docks, I am not even referring to having envoy against horizons or faction survey. But a lvl 25 would not stand a chance against a lvl 32 in most events.
Also, can you leave parsteel for alliance donations at all levels along with tritanium and dilithium ?

Hi all, if youre having problems with ypur game try clearing your localization in your profile settings it seems to have worked for me.
Suggestion: Make it a setting to disable all those popups/notifications. Especially during faction or other battle events, it's just annoying to see three of those for each hit, making it almost impossible to use the full play area and access the chat, etc.
we like the new diplomatic icons thing but.....can we have more icons and colors???? 🖖
there are many options....allied,nap,friendly,neutral,kos,war,enemies,hated......green,yellow,black,red,purple....

After all this tme has the issue of getting stuck in "battle" been escalated? I know there are work-arounds but it is an annoyance, especially in crowded systems where it seems to happen more often and many of these events tend to crowd systems.

<@&509690795536941056> in the event a player gets infected with covid-19 and requires a hospital stay can scopely offer a covid-19 sheild to allow players focus on their health but at the same time not return to an empty base, this should be a 1 time activation and during activation the player cannot play the game until they deactivate it. this allows the player to protect their resources while they fight the infection without allowing abuse of the system. so once activated you cannot play the game (ships cannot be launched, rss collectors are disabled, players cannot participate in events) only when the player deactivates it can they resume normal game play

I like the fact you can swipe stuff away from the screen, but it would be better (and more efficient) to have the option in settings to disable notifications completely, similar to mission alerts. No matter where the are they end up in the way and personally I always check the event and dailies page anyway to see where I'm at.

I would also shorten the section for system coords. Being right handed I'm always catching the faded end of that when not even trying to select it nearly over where drydock E will be. Cut it at the System number in my opinion.

Great to see the carousel changes for packs. Makes it a bit quicker for packs and claiming tokens (although for rss tokens I would add some calculation smarts around player token numbers to dynamically adjust the chest claim numbers so we're not tapping 10s when having hundreds). I'd also extend the carousel memory to crew setup. Often crew set ups are nearby, cadets, epics etc. I know when I'm changing crew I'm always scrolling back unnecessarily.

I've got a question.
Since it's possible to make politics visible for each player I would like to have another chatroom, a fourth one for allied which would make the transfer of information and communication much easier...
If I want to share some coordinates from a node or a Raid-target to any of my allies I always need to switch to Discord and sometimes the game resets automatically 😅...
@cinder walrus can you get them to add daily rewards for alliance members based on the rank. this would make member want to participate more in ALB . was an idea my alliance came up with to make us of the ranks cus atm they mean nothing really.
This might seem silly, but has Scopely considered handing out long-term shields for some of us? I am an essential worker in NY, so I won't be able to monitor my game. I've burned through all my 1-day shields. I could really use a 30-day so I don't have to worry.
A 30 day or multiple 30 day shields at this time to help those affected by the COVID virus would seem like the right thing to do. Possibly giving at least 1ea 30 day shield out to all players.

@carmine flume I can completely agree with this idea. Essential personnel that are working need to be able to focus on the task at hand. If they're willing to support those infected with a temporary shield, then they should make it available to those responders and such as well. I don't think it should be as limited as the one they are offering those who are going into the hospital due to infection though. I'd be bored senseless sitting in a hospital without my game to play.
Forget that idea, scopely can't do that, it would require them to know how, and clearly from the way they break stuff every update, they don't know how

We are asking for scopely to provide some relief for alliances across all the servers given the corona virus being upon us all and having many first responders in our teams and in others.
The relief we are seeking is two-fold.
- Either 3x30 day shields or 12x7 day shields so folks can play when they can.
- Full support for when shields fail that folks can get their RSS restored.
It's a common sense measure and good PR for Scopely. Thoughts?

Go back to old research layout. New one is cumbersome, pointless and forces the use of the back button which this game relies too much on. The new main screen is inferior to the tab layout

Since station and research events as based on power gained. It would be ideal that game shows the potential power gain of doing a base upgrade or research, just like when it shows the costs.

It seems RoE is such a popular concept but it isn't enforced by the devs so their is often a lot of resentment from players that just want to troll and be pirates.
I appreciate that if anybody could kick anybody off mining nodes then nothing would get done and ppl would quit.

If it's such a widely accepted thing maybe the devs should put a mechanic in place that makes miners safe on nodes until they go over their protected limit or the node depletes to 0?
Maybe a bubble is over the mining ship (peace shield) so you can tell at a glance who is attackable and who is not?
Would also discourage folk from using their fighting ships as miners. Such a low protected limit would make them easy targets.

having a shield over miners is a great idea but it should come with the concept of spending dill if you want to be shielded until node is zero/op

Why do maxed out officers show up as a notification on the officer tab? A notification indicates there’s something to do. I have 13 maxed officers, and I have 13 in my notifications bubble...
Just because I was away for school, I shouldn't have to pay money to complete missions. I missed the February Borg Event, and now I cannot build the Vidar without paying money which is bs

You can gain 50 bps over this last arc event.
Also, instead of giving us a 4 hour shield and an 8 hour shield in our dailys, please give us a 12 hour shield. the 8 hour shield is meant for us when we sleep and it is not good for us. The average human needs 7-9 hours of sleep with an hour away from screens prior to falling asleep. Having an 8 hour shield encourages poor sleeping habits and this needs to be fixed.

Sharing rss is a bad idea when you're under a certain level, because 1M Parsteel after like 25 is nothing but before 20 is a LOT
BUT sharing bp and shards isn't a terrible idea because you have to be a certain level to build those ships anyway
Yeah, would rather see lower tier maxed officers removed from drop pool until all other officers from that group are also maxed. Paired with the seeming bug of opening a chest and the first pull being an already maxed officer sucking up most if not all the shards in that chest and this system sucks.

How about an alliance central hub where you can repair your ships but uses your own rss equip with an alliance ship say for an example USS Vengeance alliance members can use say 30min then it auto returns using your own crew...
upgrade is done the same way as upgrading the alliance
So in Galaxy view if we select a system we get a window showing all sorts of useful stuff like resource nodes and if a quest Target is on system. Would it be too much to ask to show available quests to be taken too?

How about the ability to Mark a single player hostile? There are a couple of players on my server who use the anonymity of being without an alliance for protection from being marked hostile.
How about making it possible to scan & or contact alliance members while they are on a node? To notify a friend of zero, or incoming attack, we have to go through several windows & clicks, then scroll through a list of 50 or more people to find who we are trying to message. By then it’s often too late! This seems like a very simple thing to fix. Why can I direct message an enemy, but not a friend? Doesn’t make sense.

But we got avatars and other crap that zero people care about or asked for then it screws up the game for weeks. Your idea is a great one but scopely needs to figure out a way to charge you for it first

This may have been asked, but... Is there a light at the end of the tunnel for the ability to change servers? I have a group of 10 that use to game together on another game that would play this one if we can play together. Three of us are playing, but we are all on different servers. The others don’t even want to try unless we can be together.

I'd like an a non-alliance group chat function. That'd be cool
Create a sanctuary star system you can relocate to in the event of a real life situation. Players cannot are safe in it but can’t do anything. If they try to send out a ship or relocate out they get warned. If they do then they get kicked out and locked out of the system for 2 weeks.
It would be nice if we could categorize our officers so when we need to switch we know where to look without constantly going into their info tab. Like having groups for each ships or organize by what they can do. It would be awesome!
And it would also be great to be able to see our ships and upgrade them without having to return to base.

Also, when we have missions that are active and we gotta attack a ship, it doesn’t say what quest it’s from just the name of the ship. It would be nice to see the quest name and be able to go to through the ship or the area it’s marked so we wouldn’t need to keep looking for it in our missions
I would like a pop up sensor scan which would be a miniature picture of the star system. It would fit the height & width of the screen and show different color dots or characters representing whatever is around your ship. It could show the ship direction or maintain the same orientation the user is already viewing.
Can missions be displayed in the same format as dailies are displayed?
Can we also have a space where we can help our allies and friendlies if they’ve also marked us as such? And have it be a part of our dailies separate from helping allies? That would be awesome

Hey friends: i would suggest, to think about storage capacity...its maximum has no relation against realitiy
Stop players camping out in Borg systems just to snaffle the Ferengi. If a ship is there too long, send in a massively overpowered and fast Borg Cube to move them along home.
And if the respawn timer for the Ferengi ship is at all predictable, change how it works.

Honestly ships should be much easier to upgrade than space stations. Why fo I need 7500 unc gas for two Brel tiers but only 87 or so here and there for an entire space station.

What happened to the ability to cash in useless blue prints? It was in the write up for the scrapyard that you could scrap ships and blue prints? Yet you can only get rid of useless blue prints by building the ship and then scraping it.
Seems to be working as intended.
A suggestion: there is not enough information sometimes and not enough warning that some ships such as the jellyfish and the northstar ships have certain events to get. Where these ships and I'm sure others in the future are rare as you get them through events, as I was just informed, that are tailored to your account, not enough new players are aware of these things when they start playing this game. I'm giving this information from a new player point of view as you all need this information and I really hope you read it and take what I say into consideration as I did not know of these events working in this manner as I didnt even understand how the whole thing with events even worked until i was level 18 and by my the time i even figured it out on such matters missed out on the jellyfish as i never even saw the event for it and caught the northstar event at the end and did not have enough time to do anything about it. And now when i need at least one of these ships, they are lost to me forever which is not fair to me as well as other players who end up in these situations. There should be a way to recover these lost events and possibly still he able to get these ships. Even if it's getting the last of the blueprints the same way we get the ones available now. So what if we have to hunt for the missions and it end up taking a week or two to get them. It still keeps them rare as we have to work hard to find them and most people may not even try but for those who miss the event and actually want to put in the work, we get something we can use. I would really like to be able to get one of these ships as I could really use one but due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of what was even going on, I've missed the chance and that's honestly not fair to those of us missing out under these conditions...

Provide the option to buy half the Feregi miner shards like the V'Dar currently. I have 60 shards from 6 x 30 day loyalty packs. This proves I'm a daily player and committed. Repay that commitment with a half pack. I don't want all 120, just 60 as I've grinded the rest over 6 months +
Server questions. I have a friends that are trying to game together. One got the ability to change servers, but they are limited to only two servers. Neither are ones that others are on. Will this change? Do we stop playing so we don’t go past level 12 until we can get on the same server?
Having watched a lot of Star Trek there are two things you can rely on: distress call will be heard loud and clearly, and when under attack the alert siren will sound. However, in this game it's entirely possible to NOT notice an attack on your station. One would think a distress call went out in subspace, and that sirens would blare ... but it's really too subtle to my liking, so maybe crank it up a bit.
It's cool that we're getting shards and officer xp. Any chance there will be some event in the future where it's possible to grind for badges? I need 15 badges right now to level up officers, and I have another half-dozen at least that are going to be stuck soon.

not sure if somebody suggested this before but anybody knows if any plans for Officer layouts? When we can save officers for a ship and when you switch, it will change officers automatically or you can save, for example, 10 different layouts, name it (for example AntiBorg crew, AntiSwarmCrew, BaseCracker...) and you switch in with one button when you need them.
Don't know if it's ever been asked, but it would be nice to be able to see where you have available quest from galaxy map (so you don't have to open every system to check....)

Will the Franklin ever be offered again? I'm having a very difficult time trying to complete heroic Swarms and my highest Explorer is the Vahklas, with my ops being level 29. I'm having to do level 28 and 30 Swarms with my weak D3 and end up spending massive amounts of speed ups which I'm running out of because my dailies now have jumped to level 34/35 hostiles and I can't even complete that. My next explorer would be the B'Rel and I'm a long ways from that, I still don't even have a Bortas yet.
When the Franklin was being offered, I had just started the game and so I got stuck at 29/90 blueprints for it. Would really like to see the Franklin offered again, or at least remove Swarms from events like Borg and such.

@crude sentinel still doesn’t negate the original statement. It’s far easier to upgrade a station than a ship. At best going from 32-33 will cost me ~700 crystal, 400 gas, and maybe ~850 ore. Tier 5 Brel shields want 4000 gas.

Scopely, wouldn't it be nice if the battle log showed if the miner hit was on a zero node? It's one of the things that people fight incessantly over (because largely you made 3* nodes so scarce) and it's one of the things that's really, really hard to prove when the RoE breach discussion starts ... which is does at all times, detracting from the game ...

Please add buttons to buy multiple amounts of peace shields in alliance store. There is only option to buy one at a time.
And please, please, please, create proper, more fair competing brackets for every event. At the moment most daily events (station, research, officer) and some special events (like recent Capture Assimilated Jaylah event) are divided only in couple of brackets. Top bracket includes all players from lvl 29 and above. Do I need to mention that lvl 29 player does not have any chance to compete against lvl 40+ players in any way? This makes game for mid and higher ranked (but not the highest) players totally unfair. If I remember correctly, brackets until lvl 28 were organized into more logical groups and there was no such problem. From the moment when lvl 40 content was released, it is like Scopely forgot to tune event competing brackets for player levels above lvl 30. And to be even more confusing, on some other events like month old special swarm event, brackets above lvl 30 were organized fine and different than it is with daily events.
@nocturne lantern they have for level 12 and lower. I can see why they did it that way, so whales wouldn’t just jump ship to brand new servers and DOMINATE (like they aren’t already) but the least they could do is OPEN UP older servers. Server 21 has fleets of dead bases that ... Scopely could just MOVE to another server.

As the Envoy has a huge cargo bay and the North Star has a ridiculously small one, wouldn't it be an ide to switch the back parts of the ships in the game? Would make them look more appropriate for the job.
Suggestion: Provide a mechanism in the refinery to allow converting rare rss to UC
Method:
The mechanism would be behind a 10h timer. On the screen for the conversion - there would be a cancel and exchange button, a display of the conversion using icons - ideally animated.
The conversion ratio would depend on the refinery lvl. At refinery lvl 30 this would be 1:10, at refinery lvl 20 this would be 1:5
Users could use a slider to select the amount of rare to convert from 0 to the amount of rare in the inv.
Hitting cancel would return to the previous screen.
Hitting exchange would convert the rare to uc - this should take 10s per rare being converted and the exchange animation should update. ie if you are converting 100 rare - it would take 1000s (yes, this is part of the cost of doing this)

Or that we get an option to select the type of resources we need. It cost so much raw material to get a set amount of uncommon or rare.
I say the simplest way to fix the refinery would be to limit the cool down, or at least shrink it with refinery upgrades. Right now, upgrading the refinery does little to nothing. So it’d be nice to have the cool down decrease by a half hour for ever level upgraded, or just cut the bloody cool down in half for everyone
Or .... shot in the dark here ... increase the amount of rss given and fix the 3/4 batch. There should be no reason why a 3/4 batch gives 0 NOTHING, NADA in terms of uncommon and rare. Only getting 150 common rss after dropping 75k RAW is Scopely telling players that their time and effort doesn’t matter.
Even if it was a set number of rss for each batch and an increase number as a chance that would be a great improvement over what we’ve been suffering with the past year+ 1 batch = 7 guaranteed uncommon and 1 rare and a chance for 10-14, 2 batches is 14 guaranteed, and so forth. So that we could at least be confident in dropping that 75k and know we’ll get at least 28 uncommon and 4 rare rss.

Oh, and put all the dead level 1 stations in a trash can server. There’s no reason any server should be full. Server 21 is literally recycling the same 200 players through the same 10-12 alliances. Swaths of low level space is filled with dead bases and lvl one Officer(whoeverMcSchidts) who gave up day one.

So is scopely really going to ignore the fact that most of the players who’ve wanted the ability to switch/join a particular server CANNOT do so right now? I know that Scopely LOVES to hear us beg, but seriously ... you’ve only given most players a halfway solution.
Open the older servers and/or combine level 1-4 players who haven’t logged in for many many months into one location/server.
We understand that high level players shouldn’t be able to move to new servers, but right now we can’t even get new/fresh/low level players on older servers where it makes more sense.
All the G2 systems on my server (21) are empty.
Only a few players level19 and up are there mining to upgrade their envoys and maybe a grade 2 battleship. Plenty of space for new players
A great deal have moved on to G4 and are level 40+
Maybe open the servers up for 10 minutes, give us that narrow a window to have some new blood/friends come on board then close it off. And then move any overage over to a new server.
I’m sure that most of those level 1 players who haven’t logged in for months were just trying to join another server anyway. Power levels 1200 and lower should be forfeited
So in summary, anyone who’s been waiting to join the game so they can play with friends and family CANNOT since the servers are closed, and anyone who’s been playing hoping to do the same can‘t because they are way over level 12
I’m sure the Devs play the game as well, and have thought about this right?
And I’m sure that a great deal of players who’ve been asking for this feature are over level 12 by this point.
Most servers are open though, only a few are closed (for mostly unknown reasons)
But that’s the point of the super long post. It’s the older players and waiters who’ve been asking to join the older, now closed, servers.
It is a great first step, so new people can play together. And I am sure they are looking into allowing it for higher players as well at some point.
There are a lot of things to consider before allowing it for higher level players, so I can see why they went the low level first route.
And the removal of Level 1 players is already happening. I have had a few accounts getting force moved to a different server, some that I just created to check out other servers for a very short time and just left them, then logged back in a few months later and was on a different server
They need to open all of the servers, or at least the older ones.
We need a reliable way to earn badges. I know it’s “possible” to get them in epic armadas but there should be a better way. I’m dual faction and have already used up the six badges I was able to get in the faction stores. Officers are a HUGE part of the game and now I’m stalled out. I have the shards, the exp, and faction tokens to upgrade but no badges! We need them in events and/or the faction stores.
When the last update happened, my ship got stuck in a system and I can not access it, move it, recall it, do anything with it. Can someone help fix this?

This server token is WONDERFUL but it’s just a tease .... half a fix for another old problem.
With the alliance ranking system now in effect, I propose the following idea for in-game trading.
Unlock a market at level 28. This grants the ability to load survey ships from your station and trade any mineable resource within your alliance and alliances that you are allied with. Player 1 lists in the market a resource to trade and an amount. Player 2 searches and finds Player 1’s auction and bids a resource to trade. Both parties agree on the trade. A dock or docks get selected, ships get selected, then the ships depart blindly towards the other players station. But, beware. Ships are still subject to being raided during the convoys transit. If the convoy makes it. The cargo is unloaded and the ship auto returns to your station to make as many runs as needed to fulfill the trade agreement.
@austere sand Hello. I usually purchase the monthly pack, but I will no longer purchase it until it change. I’m lvl31 and I don’t need any grade two resources. Player and I may be speaking for myself. Don’t need grade 2 resources.. please change the set up. I would like to have more uncommon grade 3 and add rare grade 3 resources.
I suggest to have better options on the sales/offers tab. I really need another envoy ship and would not mind to pay for the blueprints if it is cheap. I think the offers tab is so weird, nothing there is really useful. I don’t want to buy any of those packages, I need individual items like crystal grade 2 (as I am level 17) or a bunch of ship parts. Sincerely, I think you miss a lot of revenue with the offers you have. Also, why not leave the Borg event tokens to buy for part 1 and 2? What if I want to buy it right now? Missing opportunities.
For a lower load on the server, make the markers (❤️ and 🎯) to always be present next to the ship

It would be awesome if the diplomacy feature could be extended to allow either players to add their own standings or to have alliances set standings on individual players.
We have a trend at the moment of people going wild and deciding to purge miners - if they aren't in their own alliance - it makes it harder to spot them because we cannot set a standing to allow easy ID
With everything going on in the world and I'm still having to work for the food industry, I'm going thru shields like mad here. I do 12 hour shift 6 days a week so and don't have time to keep checking.

I got the 7 day Shields thank you, but I like to play the game on a night when I finish and if I attack an empty node I'll loose my shield. If I put the seven day shield up i can't play the game the way I like too. I nearly used all my alliance credits.

Is there any chance of creating a mission tree so that you can easily find missions so that you can progress. Currently I cannot accept a mission as I need to complete one that I can't find anywhere (peace in our time). Whilst looking for that mission I found a low level one I had missed previously. How many more might there be?!?
The need for blueprints for ship well after the events seem impossible to come across specially for players who can not afford to buy them this seem very unfair when it seems your going to run the those events blueprints should be available for all either with lithium or alliance store credits and getting the best out of your ships with the right crew needs simplified and one final thing the refinery is useless I’m finding doing 1 chest is a better ratio than doing 2 this is rubbish
I agree, and it’s totally a ruse to allow universe transfers but have many of the older universes closed. The people asking for that have been asking for almost a year and then you close off the older servers. In particular, server 21

It’s getting beyond frustrating to get uncommon mats, even with competing well in every event. The packs offered need to include more of them, as we’ve had several long term alliance members quit. The carrot is dangling too far away and a month of mining and refining to work on one component upgrade on a ship has become too far between upgrades. The lvl 30 wall is becoming a common quitting point and we’re a top-3 alliance on the server. These are hardcore players. Better access to uncommons or packs without 2* mats would be a help, but there’s hardly any progress at all, unless you pay, even with good scoring in events. I enjoy the game, but it’s losing its fun when it feels like a huge paywall and the event rewards seem to make only the top players stronger.

Here's a suggestion.... figure out a way to stop griefing. Apparently the highest power guys get bored and camp the event points with their $10,000 ships and just kill anyone trying to do the events.
Can we make alliance events scored in a bracket system please? What's the point of opening servers to new players? Starting fresh on a server which already has numerous 30+ players is utterly pointless. At least have the new players be competing only against other new players
Adding new players to these older servers under the current system is like showing up to a basketball game in the 3rd quarter with the other team already having 90 points up and seriously being expected to play like theres even the slightest chance you could win

I would love to see a way to scrap shards for ships that we will not build, or put them into a bank, to be used to build ships we want. I have 1300 shards for ships I will never use or be able to build. I could use those to build my ENTERPRISE, which I have been working on for 6 months, and am still only halfway there. Just hit OPS lvl 36, and have absolutely no need for 2 star materials whatsoever.
The biggest reason to have new players or players level 12 and down join old servers is to have them play with their friends and family.
The events are already tiered so it’ll mean more points for alliances, and fresh members for alliances that have no one else to recruit.
My server has about 20-23 solid alliances with 75+ memners each. There’s no one else to recruit.
It’ll also help push the players who stayed at lvl 9-14 up, give them more competition, and allow grade 3 nodes to be cleared of their miners which no one can hit.
And Scopely can get more money because those new players will want to catch up FAST.
Could you please include the remaining amount of a mine in reports of battles at mines? Really tired of all those discussions.

SUGGESTION: Players should have the option of recalling all completed storylines using a full interface (with character avatars) rather than just text of not-yet-completed missions.
Completed missions should be stored in a “chronological” order, so that the player can relive the narrative aspect of ST:FC periodically. This will result in greater player engagement with the narrative world of the game. PP77.
How about an easy idea....can you all add a list the power, Resouce raided and power destroyed by level as well....it might help motivate more players to grow to see how they stack up to players of same level, also top ten on all servers? Cheap and easy add!

Greetings, It’s seems logical to be that when you are qualified to build the next level ships, you should be able to scrape the previous level. When my ship yard is at level 34 I can build a Enterprise, D4, and Aug, but can’t scrape my Sal, Bortas, or Centurion until level 42. Is it possible to get this changed?
@austere sand Is there any chance of upgrades to ships having cosmetic changes as well, like we see on Instagram ads, for example? Like the extra fins, spikes, etc. I've seen for the Enterprise, K'Tinga, Saladin, Mayflower, Jellyfish, and Romulan warbird?
Also as has been said by many players before, these packs really should stop selling 2* resources after a certain level, even if you have to give us, say, 100 3* crystal instead of 200 2*, at some point there is just no point to include 2* stuff that the player will literally never need again
@austere sand also wanna advise you guys revisit the idea of bringing in Seven of Nine, since the whole "Seven is from the Prime Timeline, not this one" doesn't really hold water when 1. The Borg are from the Prime Timeline altogether, and 2. The Kelvin Timeline is based loosely around the TOS-era and we jumped 100 years forward into TNG content

Only thing we can do is report them.
It would be awesome to see an option included where you can see a history of all missions completed. This is used to track progress in the different mission sequences.
It would also be nice to know what servers you were on in the past
I want to be able to access the ship details screen, e.g. to see the PC level etc, even when all ships are busy and not travelling, e.g. when all are mining. Access to the Manage screens is what I want at any time please.
MY SUGGESTION....as i am moving between alot of systems the system detail is what using up the memory.

The language/text/content filter is working badly. So many regular words get censored. You sometimes can't have a regular conversation. It also does not really have any effect. Because people start to type things like @ssholes or a.ss.hol.es when they want to insult someone... instead of censoring everthing give the players the control what they want to see like in other games. Make it a user setting where he can activate the filter or not.

@tepid sage the good news is they already have a solution. They’ve allowed players to change servers so a lower level player can finally start playing with their friends and family. The problem is, for some strange and unknown reason, they’ve blocked all of the older servers so players who’ve wanted to play with family (and family/friends who’ve chosen NOT to play until they can play together) can’t join those servers.

How about a blueprint exchange program in the faction store. I have no use for these saladin or intrepid prints i'm hoarding. How about being able to trade them for my own faction equivalent bluprints? Straight across, uncommon for uncommon and rare for rare. Make it exciting to get the bluprints from pve chests instead of just another useless item.

The censorship is a bit ridiculous, I can’t imagine there’s too many people under the age of 30 playing the game.
Armadas cause alliance chat to become chaotic at times meaning that other alliance business such as sharing mines etc becomes lost or incomprehensible. I would love to see an additional alliance chat to be used internally but only for Armadas.

Ship packs should be just that, I pay $100 to get a ship with upgrades not 4 or 5 packs just to get a ship and then another 5 - 6 packs to get the upgrades not everyone has $2000 they want to spend on pixels
So we just got that refer a friend deal. I sat here with my friend and sent him an invite. It was Google Play only even though I have an iPhone. Okay, we thought, whatever, start a game with Bluestacks. When through the whole song and dance and STILL was not able to invite them or refer them or transfer them to server 21.

So here’s a really simple question Scopely left out of the FAQ. How the hell do I transfer my wife’s account that’s OVER 12? She quit playing at 14 because she couldn’t play with me .
You can’t. They left it out because the answer stinks for anyone that’s over level 12, and technically it’s also the same for anyone that is under level 13 but wants to go into an older server.
And the invite doesn’t work at all.
Tried with two fresh accounts and an active account started a few days ago.

This is sadly the only thing I’ve wanted from Scopely and they’ve fudged it up beyond all recognition. Now I know how 98% of the player base feels. I could forgive the bugs, disappearing nodes, nerfed ships, nerfed crew, bad rewards and money grubbing $100 packs but not being able to play with mates or switch servers is just insulting.
I think the servers are all technically open for people under level 12. just some are 'full' which is why you can't go there.... I guess it doesn't really matter the reason tho, still sucks :/
When repairing a ship you receive help from other alliance members but unlike research and building tasks you cannot see a count of how many helps have been received. If I could see that count I would know when to speed up the repair and perhaps when to wait a while.

when u have prime officers, the officers assigned to a ship, get the bonus, but the ones that arent, dont get the bonus. but if you go to your officer tab, and sort by strength, its still the case. this way you get a 'false' sorting, as a weaker officer could be assigned to a ship and get the bonus, so it shows up higher on the list than it should.
could this perhaps be unified? all officers get the bonus, assigned to ship or not? or (in officers tab) it shows all officers without bonus
@quiet storm there's a bit of lag, but if you go through the alliance screen you can technically see helps received on repairs.
Just a sugestion for the new Borg Ferengi systems, is it possible to convert those systems to have the same exact fog of war like Dark Space has?
It's probably been mentioned before, but can you make it so that miners get xp from mining as well? I'm on my third day of lvl up my D'Vor, but it's weak AF and even tho I'm attacking very low lvl hostiles it will take months to get it to lvl up. And I think it's strange that it doesn't get xp from mining which is its job 😅
To help keeping our alliance active and happy, it would be nice to show lastLogin time in the member list. We don't want zombie accounts clog our limited member space.

beautiful and coveted the idea of changing servers, but it is abused!
Let me explain: My server starts to have 3 * mines full of miners of lv 11 or about, miners of players who have created a double account to "reserve a mine" and these ships cannot be removed in any way even if they stay for hours or days on an empty mine.
Proposal: after 5 min. that a mine is empty it would be nice if it is possible to attack each level or that the ship in question is automatically moved from the mine.

Reevaluate the protected levels for RSS, the scaling of protected RSS is so far out of line with the rss requirements for operation level is ridiculous!

For example while I wait for this stupid 20 minute warp (one way) I could say think about some other ship and maybe look through available crew etc how I could possibly crew it otherwise looking up recent battle reports. Can we please get the dead bases out of popular systems? Allow them to be "blasted" out by the players on the server, we know where they are. Make those bases respawn afterwards in a lower system.
They do eventually. If an account is inactive for a few weeks the base gets moved to a lvl1 system

The low level player problem can be solved by opening the severs up to new players. ALL OF THEM because server 22 has that same problem. And it’s not fair that we can’t participate in the refer a friend event going on now.
The dead base thing does work after a few months but I’d love to see them leave completely and end up in purgatory so new players can end up on the server.
If they want to come back they’ll have their account put in another server with equal level players.
How about making getting the avatars fair.... those that are playing free to play haven’t got a hope of getting any if the events give them to the top 3.... Same with alliance events....

I think Independant credits are the most ridiculous amounts ever. 50 credits per day. To upgrade 1 officer at 4600 credits it would take 92 days. That’s ridiculous. Needs augment daily goals like mine corrupted or decoded data and kill so many hostiles in augment space a day etc.
Not only that. How about augment scouts so we get augment messages like Klingon messages to convert to Independant credits?

Why can’t independents join csma? I agree with csma. I follow the rules, but I’m fed up with csma members EMKing me and using the excuse that I’m not a csma member, so the rules don’t apply.
And please don’t respond “well why don’t you join an alliance?” That’s dictating how to play the game. If alliances are not compulsory, then there should be a way for independents to not get shafted by not being a csma member.

How about offering packs with ONLY ship BPs or only officer shards in, it would mean more people might be up for buying them if the price was lower, even if it was (for example) a couple of £ for say 10 BPs or shards, e.g. because I only started playing again recently I’m going to end up with half the vi’dar BPs and I’d really like to the option of buying the remaining BPs to build it without buying a load of latinum and 2* materials
Id like to make a suggestion that should alleviate the current mining issue. As well as the nonsensical ROE.
Random Respawning locations of ore, gas, latinum , crystal. Miners who 0 a node will find the node moves locations. Miners who are locked in to the node cannot be attacked but the node can be targeted by other players and destroyed.
My second suggestion is the create your own pack deal. Allow players to mix and match their own packs to buy.

How bout making this a game instead of a job. This mining event is crooked do the math get 700 borg points for 50k then 1400 for 150k, so 3 times the amount of mining points for twice the borg points. But then you need 1.12m for 4 times the borg points not enough *3 mines for better points per item mined. I've been getting trit but only 3 points for each 1 with best ships/crews getting just over 21k an hour so like 61+k after 3 per. That will take 17+ hrs for 1.12m. Some of us can and do still work 8 hr days add sleep and then try to win/get events done not possible. Yes this game is your job making it enjoyable and making some money for overhead. But getting short changed on events sounds like trying to get us to buy packs to get what should be able to get with normal grinding don't see a stripper on the pole for 17+ hrs for best tip. I'm a admiral and have lost lots of players because they give up to much time for a game! When you lose enough players because they can't get anything worthwhile in the game will it be to late to fix it? I love the game it is fun but not getting paid to spend all the time needed to rewards not worth the effort.
At my job now and have time while mining so here's some more. Armadas we can attack will all ships at same time why not for mission bosses? I take 4 ships but can only 1 at a time roms/klings don't do that all in at same time. I was in Army for25 yrs no one in military sends1 soldier or ship in at a time. Plus boss's heal right there but I have to repair at base not real life. Not enough mining nodes steat star trek armada game and have large areas ships pull in mine as much as they want/need and players worry about if opc. Or make systems that are all rss. Even out the point system too example: swarm event 15-27 = 1 point 28=2 but 30=10 stupid, again those of us with lower than max tiered ships can't afford repair cost to try. So make 28=8 26=6 24=4 etc. Put the low cost packs back in store you'll get more sales could more will buy $10 one cause they only need x amount not to much and have a high power player just steal the extra 1st chance they can. Speaking of shields in real life they would go up when scanned by players. And could stay on all the time. Fix the old bugs like stuck in battle mode, server lag, we shouldn't have to do other things to fix it like restart cells, or move another ship.
Lastly points for monthly borg event thought great when started 12 or 16k each day get done before event over then you do mega mining and only 7k possible for each time trying to make us buy 20 or 50k packs? Again some/most of us aren't whales we spend when we want/can. Making it to hard to win puts a bad taste for the game. You'll end up with just whales and they'll leave to when no one to bully/steal (pvp) from. I've said have daily login bonuses that build up each day in a row you login. 1 prize random and 3 for us to choose 1 of. Yes I know nothing is free but when the f2p and those who spend little here & there can't get ahead why play then you loss that money
@red acorn you do know that the last 2 arcs were completed by many of us without buying any points, mining events included? There was a healthy buffer built into arc 2 even, and should be again in arc 3. Do the events every day, if you miss top milestone on a couple here and there you'll probably be fine, if you hit them all then you'll probably finish the arc a few days early.
I haven't bought any points and I need less than 55k points to finish it, with some still to get today and 10 days of events left (5.5k/day to finish) 🤷♂️ Don't cry P2W until you see how it falls.

new event: piracy , hostile hunt event taking rss off of hostiles/stealing rss out of player ships, maybe you could introduce a new kind of hostile, the independent survey, depending on which race flies they they carry some rss and some mats. it certainly would be a welcome change to the monotonous events we got going on here.
@strange mural the best solution i have found especially if you are stationed in hostile space, is sending a boatt o a level 1 system and recalling cancelling/stopping till you are done hitting hostiles. that is if you have a spare ship. especially during a mining event, you have to sacrifice your standing in a leader board if you want to finish your daily.
I would like Scopely to buy a few daily beater cars, as a company vehicle, and install a kill switch on it. that has an RNG percentage generator that determines when the kill switch gets activated on the car every time the car gets turned off and the only way to deactivate the kill switch it to manually open the hood of the car to maximum height and then close it.
Then make each dev drive that car for a week on rotation till stuck in combat gets fixed. Maybe it will give you people some perspective to how inconvenient your current solutions are to this problem and other issues with this game that have similar work around solutions.
Id also like to Suggest a premium service that gives Exclusive Access to the Premium service Server. Premium Service Members have access to that mining zones that are non PvP zones. and allow players direct access to various nodes depending on ops Level.
Premium Service Events. Premium Service server has higher EXP and drop rates on all items. Premium Service for players lvl 21 and above.

Armada Directives cost
it doesn't feel right (to me)
that a lower level player has to spend the same Directives amount to launch a small station armada, say a L24 Epic, power 2.5-3M, yielding very poor rewards
costs him/her the same 500 Epic Directives as a L39 station with 60+M power, and accordingly rich in Credit rewards
STATION Levels (NOT Systems)
Green: 21-39, by 2 (all odd ones)
Rare: 23-38, by 3
Epic: 24-39, by 3
they could make for instance the Directives proportional to Station Level
Green: 3 or 4 Dir per level (63-117, or 84-156 Dirs)
Rare: 8 Dir per Level (184-304)
Epic: 15 Dir per Level (360-585)
of course that would be a bit less immediate to get and remember
but it's not that complicated
and the Launch Box would tell you how many, so you wouldn't even need to do the math
it would give some breathing room to weaker players
and it would make big players spend a bit more for Top armadas, which would also make $corpley happy

How about an event that rewards a universe move token for lower level players? Unlock all of the servers but instead of moving for free you have to complete the mirror mirror arc and at the end you have the option to move to whichever server you want no questions asked, no Scopely nonsense.
Because this game is turning fast a full of sh. The servers is full of lvl 14 ocupied G3* Nodes. Good move scopely. Send all lvl 14 to One server ONLY.

Can we have the payouts of the swarm targets increased to match their Borg cousins? It is absolutely insane that lvl 29s for Borgs pay out up to 850 or so parts per kill, whereas the lvl 30 swarms have a max of 320. With having to acquire MILLIONS of parts for each upgrade of the Franklin, this increase would assist greatly since the Franklin is only good at 1 thing
I wouldnt be so tough on scopley if we paid a few bucks per pack. But since a ships are a mortgage payment, these guys better get their acts together
These are trying times. Playing this game was keeping me sane. Then I got laid off work and worry about paying the mortgage. It seems like every registered player is online all the time. I can’t afford packs just want to play without having to worry about whales killing me the second the mine (which took me a day to find) reaches zero. We all have families to take care of and can’t play 27/7. Scooely please stop making life even harder by charging so much
Is it possible to have the game not kick apps from running in background? I play from a phone and use a music app while playing. Every time I get on game, within 5min my music stops. Can anything be done on either side or is there just no possible way? I know that I can't be the only one who has this problem & wondering what the answer is without scrolling through everything trying to find it. Tyvm llap
I have a suggestion that a lot of other players would support as well: allow Alliance Help for Ship Tier-Up! Alliance Help is already possible on every thing else that uses speedups, and with higher level ships taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R to tier up, it would be a welcome addition.

@nocturne lantern I know right? I hope they improve armadas as they are right now. The creator should be able to manage it with the customizability options allowed by the admiral. Rather than again building a very simplistic solution, I can think of three easy modes for hostile armadas (as opposed to whatever PvP Armadas are going to be).
Queue modes
A) Auto-reserve spots based on who calls in first (this started happening sometimes recently, it's a bug).
B) Auto-reserve spots based on power (this is by design).
C) No automatic selections. Manually pick who's in the armada.
Admiral options
The admiral of an alliance should have two options:
- The option to pick one of these modes as default.
- When A or B is chosen as default or if C is disabled, whether or not to allow armada creators, based on alliance role (e.g. Specialist and above), to choose or unchoose someone who joined the queue.

Added abilties spectral scan (scans all ships in system n posts small officer info picture box , self destruct on attack (1 hr cooldown to cause more damage then u could if u defended (to punish huge ships attacking small ships alot , emergency warp (instant warp ,takes 25% hull damage, but make regular warp 6 secs too even out) take all the dumb useless officers n rework for DoTs n HoTs (damage/heal over time after fight)

auto-recall
Specifics:
When a ship on a node stops mining (regardless of reason), auto-recall the ship. The "stop" button should still be to cancel the warp and allow the the player to re-select the node and select "mine". This means auto-recall will trigger when:
- A mining ship depletes a node
- A mining ship fills its cargo hold (I think this will happen very infrequently)
Reasons:
Almost all servers have some form of "rules of engagement", and most of them cover the "depleted node" scenario, allowing destruction of a survey sat on a depleted node. This is only required because players cannot be on the game 24/7 and this feature has not been developed.
- Prevent depleted nodes being held by players no one can attack (due to being too low or too high a level)
- Free up some of the existing nodes instead of creating more
- Reduce the "slow mining" cases for those looking to avoid being sat on a depleted node for a while
Examples:
Other games like Nova Empire: Space Commander and even non-space games with similar ideas all have this auto-recall functionality.
Potential:
Further development on this area could introduce research/paid tokens to allow a player to tell a survey to auto-refresh in x-minutes prior to depleting a node
Note: when I say "a mining ship" I mean any ship on a node.
To tire up the franklin is the most difficult part...that have to chance or a franklin Event with Frequenz modularer regards
The “button refactor” appears to be “same buttons with a larger font”. I have suggested in many surveys that entire graphical panels should react to clicks, functioning as large buttons. For example, opening PvE/PvP chests in the Items area requires a click on a teeny tiny button at the bottom of a thumb-sized panel. Easy to miss, and clicking on the graphic just shows you a pop-up explaining what’s behind it. You know, when I clicked it, exactly what I was trying to do, so why explain it to me?
The same problem is evident in the Faction Store area. Big graphics, tiny buttons. And how nice would it be, in the Event area, to be able to simply click on the huge graphical panels instead of aim for the button (now with larger font!) at the bottom of each one?
The Alliances section got this right. Click on Armadas or Contribute or any other panel in there and you get to see what you’re after.
I had my hopes up that the “button refactor” was going to actually improve the playability.
The game really needs some sort of structured purposeful pvp for the players who wish more pvp gameplay instead of them just hitting players farming hostiles minding their own business just because they can
Some sort of arena maybe with random opponents maybe even cross server? Could even have a solo and alliance variation
The friend or foe designation system is useful it could however be quite helpful to have a tier between neutral and enemy
It could also be very helpful to be able to mark individual players
It could as an extension of that be nice to have another chat channel added for alliances who have each other tagged as allies
For the ease of ability to participate in things for some of the higher level players in some sort of auxiliary base/portal that can be parked somewhere in lower space and function as a portal of sorts for lower warp capacity ships so for example Franklin can be sent to do swarms even though your base is somewhere in very deep space without having to use relocation tokens to get back and forth
Probably been up before, but a mass message alliance members option for admirals and commanders, Alliance chat requires members to be online at that time and Announcements is not quite direct enough
Concerning Augment Space, in the Yarda System, there are two nodes available, but only one operational. Is there a plan to correct this issue? Perhaps this occurs on server 31? Also, we are interested in seeing the ability to purchase more Independent Credits in order to upgrade the Borg and Augment Officers... by way of comparison, right now I require 22500 Independent Credits. At a maximum authorized 50 Independent Credits per day, is 450 consecutive days. That's an unrealistic expectation from the developer side to the customer.
Everything we do requires dilithium how about adding it to the rewards for everything also.
Pretty sad to run out and wait hours or days to repair anything.

Running through events costs more dilithium in ship repair than you pull in.... but, I have a metricfuckton of Tritanium... and got 1M more in an Epic Borg Token refinery.... 5 days of thanks for nothin.

The name of chosen squadron or squadron leader could be seen in profile of Agent so any diplomatic issue between alliances come to proper alliance official
Piling ships on the same point could appear for an enemy to decide to attack one ship instead of seeing an enemy that can attack but not being able to send and destroy when caution requires.
When you want to hit and rush home, should be a few sanctuary seconds in case of sudden volatile elements reboots in the fight that allow you to be destroyed when you won the fight and should take the loot home.
When you see / when an enemy waiting at the station you should have alternate route or stop at previous system to avoid interception because when game reboots just when you try to halt NO WAY TO stop the routes set in last session. So the ship gets destroyed intercepted even with eyes and fingers and time to stop the travel.

When you fall asleep before placing peace shield you find your station bone dried and have all ships destroyed.
That means for 22level 95 min for Kehra 35lin for Talla 25min for Envoy in addition to the loss.
When you decided to build multiple ships, wrecked could be left in hangar with slow repair rate and other built ships and crew could be available.
Or at least some officers depending on their "wound status"

We should be able to hit any level player on a zero node. If that’s not palatable, how about after say...5 minutes.
Other ideas: Let us give stuff to teammates. Give us shuttlecraft that facilitate swapping officers around in space. Let us repair our ships at friendly star bases and teammate’s stations. Fewer mining events, focus on PvP events. The game has “gotchas”. Eliminate them. Two obvious examples: 1) Chasers should never look exactly like the hostiles that inhabit the sector, and 2) It shouldn’t be possible to start an armada once someone else has started it.

there's plenty of nodes, they're just way too big. a single player who gets lucky starting a high speed node just before the monday event almost always wins or ranks top 3 because the node never runs out.

Fighting fir the best reward is part of the galaxy. I believe a warning you will shoot in 2 hours and keeping to it in special moments if "fair game "

Looks like I'm getting 76 hours if I do all my dailies, and one of my factions is lagging behind.. so I can repair my main ship a good 12 times a day, if I could afford the 6m trit a day 😂 I've got nearly 8k half hour repair speedups in stock currently 😬 do your dailies, faction is the main one so another reason to do more than one faction, and you'll get plenty in time.
Can we update the inbox so that combat reports are in two different tabs (pvp and pve)? I would like to see recent pvp combat reports and not lose them because of hostile/npc reports. Each tab could have a max.

What if we could trade in peace shields for longer peace shields, even at a loss. Say in the Alliance store, I could trade 2 or 3 8-hour bubbles for 1 12-hour bubble. 3 or 4 12-hour bubbles for a 1-day bubble. Possibly a way to get more 1 and 2 hour bubbles as well. Say trading an 8 hour for 2 or 3 2-hour bubbles. It's at a loss, so I end up with less bubble time, but i am able to have more control over when and how long I am bubbled.
I think mining 3* materials would be much more tolerable if there either were more mining nodes or if the bigger mining nodes would have a lower speed limits (based on size) to prevent slow miners ever latching on them. Feels crazy during mining events hunting for hours for single mining node unless willing to snipe players off their mines the moment they turn 0. This is probably not an issue on every server, but on the server I am playing on, finding mining nodes often takes so much time it is not enjoyable.
Not enough resources for players is part of game design. It's designed to encourage conflict.

LostWaldo, if mining nodes had a lower speed limits it would mean the players using slow miners would have to adapt their strategies as they would be unable to keep the mines unless they are actually playing the game. How is that discouraging conflict?

@unkempt stump I think just adding more nodes would help mostly. People are going to hit out of roe in order to get a node. At least adding more nodes will help players not get frustrated.
We’ve been asking for more 3* nodes. The developers have added so many new things, but adding nodes is too hard?

So könnte man mehr gemeinsam spielen und man könnte z.B. handeln oder auch mit Verträge usw. schließen. Man müsste zwar irgend eine Grenze pro Tag machen, sonst könnte man ja jemanden auf Level 1 einfach so eine Millionen Parstahl schicken, das wäre dann nicht im Verhältnis.

We have a player that has managed to weaponize the reporting and disciplinary suspension system Scopely has. While I will not in any way condone a person doing something that pulls down a game suspension, and wish Scopely would actually do more to vigorously enforce the TOS on offenders, this player has managed to get players’ accounts suspended (justifiable) and then raid those players’ bases empty while they can do nothing about it. Can we get Scopely to establish a suspension shield for players that get their accounts temporarily suspended? You can even make it a different color peace shield so everyone knows what is actually up.
@fiery tundra I know we have talked about this in the past. And, If you say something bad enough to violate the tos, then the possibility of being raided is part of the punishment. I will tell you what we have told many on my server. Stay out of GC, and ignore PMs from players trying to antagonize you.
I am guessing you have talked about this in the past, but we have not discussed this in the past to my knowledge. I literally just joined this server. Again. We have a player on my server that has successfully weaponized the disciplinary system, and I am not entirely convinced each of this player’s prior recipients of the bans were actually saying the things claimed, what with photoshop and numerous glitches we have had in the past just in the chat system. If “possibility of being raided is part of the punishment,” it should probably say as much on TOS.
And considering the title of this channel is Ideas and Suggestions, trying to shut down a comment from a player as a Moderator is not exactly the most reasonable course of action.

@fiery tundra CS is able to verify what was said. Photoshop, etc., should not play a role given the verification process. Although it's unfortunate someone is using this system in such a way, the best recommendation we can give is: 1) be mindful of what's said even in private chats and 2) screenshot conversations yourself in case you need to dispute a complaint.
@nocturne lantern i've always been of the opinion that events should be competitive and fought over, and that anything done during events should be treated as such a competiton and nothing more. unfortunately many people take any hit at all personally, and i'm in a group that follows roe 100% of the time, no exceptions but war. Special agreements, treaties, allies and such are the most interesting part of the game, and the Star Trek universe, but sadly it's something scopely has almost completely left out of the game.

It might have been mentioned already, I would like to see the hijacked ships in the Augment faction and the ability to grind for one or all. A long time ago I choose to make the Augments my second faction. Maybe change the name from Augment to Independent, it would be more flexible for any new game content ( like Borg)

We need to be able to swap officers between ships in the same system. And or move officers from lower deck to the bridge and vice versa. Call it the Transporter. Let us upgrade it if needed. Star trek is famous for beam me up scotty and NOTHING in the game involves transportation
Having been made admiral of whats left of my clan recently, I notice a feature lacking is a last active feature. I would be much easier to figure out which players are active if you could see the last time the player logged on, as well as perhaps how much power destroyed they have done in the past days (number of days could by 5 or a week or 12 or something or variable setting as today, and the past week) It would save pm'ing players to figure out which players are inactive or manually keeping track of power or pd on notepad to see who's stats are not changing and are likely inactive. This may not be a concern for some clans, but for some competitive clans, they may want players who put in a min amount of time/activity as we once did.
Depleted node auto-release
Add some way for players to save and load different officer configurations for a ship so that if I want to switch between a hostile grinding and player grinding officer load-out it’s only a few clicks rather than having to go through and re find the officers. (Also this would make it easier to use officers with situation specific bonuses which would mean that there are more good officers which means more money spent by players trying to get them)

Swap some of the 2* mats systems to 3*, the amount of empty 2* nodes is crazy considering there aren’t enough 3* to go around, trying to find and then fighting over a node is making this already dull game very tedious
And while you’re at it make it so the Botany Bay and D’vor are material specific miners, too many people using them to hog G3 mat nodes for days on end ☹️
Make it possible so that any level can kill a player on Dead Nodes. I’m tired of seeing nodes taken up with 18-20 level players and never move foe weeks or days.
Or introduce an eject miner system where if they’ve not refreshed the node after say 5 minutes they automatically get booted from it

How bout making the points for events even you go from a lvl 28 swarm for 1 point to lvl 30 for 10. Add more mining nodes some systems have only 4. You start acr3 with 12k and 16k borg points for events then it drops to 7-8k, looks like trying to make us buy the 20k or 50k packs instead of how all could finish arc2 at least a few days before that ended. When I'm attacking lvl 30+ ships why am I getting 2* items? Give some blueprints in daily events. Why is the time for my ops from 28 to 29 8+ days? I'm improving not building from scratch. If I build a house for 100k why does adding a sunroom cost 150k more then a garage 200k? Those of us who are mostly f2p don't like having to grind all day long we have jobs some still out some in our homes. Example mega mining with high lvl players sleeping on nodes I had to mine trit for 3 points each 1 needed 1.12m for all borg points for that event. With 4 of best miners on them only bout 60+k per hr in points so 17+ hrs of moving on/off when zero'd that's heavy grinding. 8 hrs for work some sleep so don't get all points. As a admiral my alliance shows 60+ members but only bout 15 still playing so 45 quit wondering why? This is a game not a job.
I have been playing the game for over a year and and have been a level 14 for just 2 months shy of. Year. I see the push to bring in new players however the game changed, a lot. Most of the changes have been made to assist the Biggs. Gaining the interest of new players is crucial to games longevity. Along with that comes increasing the retention rate and inspiring the new players to not only stick with it but develop properly. When I first started as long as your ship was one jump away or less you could scan any ship. You could see his over all strength, hull strength, shield strength, and crew. The lowers made great scouts during war. This forced teams to move to levels the lowers could not reach and/or it forced teams to keep lowers that could remove them if they could be targeted. This ability to scan bigger players helped the lowers set goals before making the mistake of upgrading to level 15 with only 50-100k power. Bringing this back is only the first step to helping spark more life in the game. At levels 12-14 if players get stagnated by the mission bosses they were able to build a second ship upgrade it at conquer that mission boss (all of this added to scopely’s revenue) now they are stuck mining for forever which is boring as hell. So they fail to properly upgrade their ships and thus theirs ships are weak and their base defenses are incredibly weak. As a result they become fodder for the Bigger players with zero hope of success. This can be exceedingly disheartening and so they quit. Or ignorantly level up higher and now they cannot complete missions or dailies and so they eventually quit as well......
...... Very few actually find a teams that welcomes them in at this point. I suggest you Bring the chain attacks back as well as the ability to scan. Lastly during hive raid the lowers are like fly on the wall. Allow them to participate in the defense of their hive make them more like a honey bee. Sure their stinger are weak but many bees can be enough of a nuisance to drive a less persistent bear away. Allow lower levels to “attack up” outside of their normal strike range when inside their home system. This will create another tactical reason to hiving up. Plus it will make base raiding more epic. And it will reduce the bullying and add more credence to being inside an alliance. This will also drive more revenue as the repair bills will be higher and more ships will be included in battles so more people will want to strengthen their ships before leveling up. I hope you will consider at least some of these ideas. End
The scrapyard and shipyard NEED to be able to repair ships. Only if they are not building or scrapping a ship.
It would be good that parts of ships which you already own, could be used to upgrade ships instead of building a second one and scrapp it afterwards in the scrapyard. That is not a very clever solution.
Would it be too much trouble to actually finish quests instead of having 15 outstanding to kill bosses 1.5 to 2 mil when your ship is 650 to 700k
Here’s an idea, totally ignore the requests of your player base in pursuit of more profit 😀 forget their great ideas to make the game better and actually enjoyable and instead focus on screwing as much out of them as you can, just like you did with all the loyal players of your walking dead game. That way you can line your pockets while humanity is suffering and trying to find escape from the horrors of real life in a game that takes a well loved franchise and screws it into something which would have Roddenberry turning in his grave. Failing that run another Dominations event, because, who doesn’t love one of those?
How about you make a flow of badges for the officer accessable to the f2p or light spenders. The faction store purchase was a start for sure and I'm thankful for that. After that, we are screwed.....fix this

Hello, May I suggest Scopely to do Memory Allocation work on the game? When you start it the game runs just fine, but after like 8h on time it stars to lag all over, gameplay goes fustruation and I find out that it has allocated holee system memory.
Only way is to kill the process and start game again.
In the inventory tab, consider changing the order in which materials are displayed: 1. Unrated and then from highest to lowest materials. That way, we wouldn’t have to scroll down each time we’d want to check relevant materials

It is not the repetition of event type that is the problem but rather each event type has exactly the same rewards each time. Why not change the rewards and levels needed to attain that reward (if necessary)? That way, for example, the Mega Miner event wouldn’t be completely worthless to some that already have loads of the resource that is rewarded.
There are swarm events but they don't allow you to get blueprints for the Franklin anymore. If you compete in swarm events the rewards for each milestone should include blueprints for the Franklin. Also if there are swarm events and daily swarm targets, might want to bring those in for the Borg too after the main Borg event had finished otherwise I suspect nobody will continue to go to Borg systems if the get nothing out of it. One more thing, a button to unstick your ship if it gets stuck in battle would be really useful
Peace shields should be cumulative... i.e if I add 8 HR it adds onto whatever time I have remaining on shield already in place
Some kind of alliance-shared station that doesn't move and csnt be shielded but gives some small bonus to other alliance members who's stations are nearby.
And/or the ability to dock your ship at an ally's station to help defend

STFC could be an awesome MMORTS game for families and generations to share WITHOUT END.
UNFORTUNATELY, there are some grave barriers to this:
#1 The HUD looks like a high-school project... needs URGENT redesign, with better user control over side menus, which need to be NON-INTRUSIVE, the chat on bottom with 1 or 3 lines full length so players can play & chat at the same time, and with ships, counters and status on top, also NON-INTRUSIVE.
#2 Though the story arcs and graphics are phenomenal (kuddos to those weirdos in curtained cubicles!) menus placement, controls placement and sliding images within windows IS AWFUL... intuitive & logically placed ergonomic controls ARE A MUST.
#3 The complexity is extreme an elitist, which discourages many players and overly segregates the ones that stay the course. The SENSE OF COMMUNITY is lost in this game, unlike in other MMORTS, where friendships are forged for years, across the world... it is MANDATORY that attention be paid to entertain the masses in some common ground activities (like jumping in standard cars & racing), as well to make it easier to chat while playing... DONT FORGET that ST fans are particularly smart as well as tech-savvy (as compared with SW, for example), any survey should show this... so their intellect needs to be challenged with strategic & tactical decisions, even-footed competition, community participation across time-zones & countries, etc.
DO THIS AND YOU CAN HAVE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE !!!
(as it is now, where the game appears to cater ONLY TO THE WHALE PLAYERS, many players who otherwise would regularly "buy the gal a dinner" as thanks for hours and hours of good entertainment... refuse to do so, because they do not want to reward piss-poor quality with purchases, "vote with your wallet" thinking)
How about an event called free-for-all. Instead of killing hostiles you get points for killing players based on their level. Make it a regular once in a while 24 hour event just to let the players get their frustrations out.
We had that in the past. We didn’t like it
@lusty cave it was tried, two things happened: the whales just cleared entire systems regularly; several alliance paired up and ran realtas at each other all day long racking up huge points because realta battles would end with both ships alive, both ships winning/losing, and both players able to rack up several hundred points per hull, with repairs taking 2-3 minutes max after ship finally died. Event was actually cancelled partway through and rewards not given out if I remember right.
Gonna beat this horse until it sees action: blueprint trade-in for faction and independent credits. Let us use the scrapyard to trade in 1,5,10 bps at a time for any ship and get faction credits for faction ship bps, and independent credits for hijacked and non-faction ships. Give it a 10hour cooldown like a refinery, but give us something good to do with the several thousand useless blueprints we have.
How about giving a bit of the in-game economy to the players? I mean, for example, the possibility to trade between each other, exchange stuff, exchange in-game currency. That could add great depth.
Before make an event mining G3...... more spot !!!

@austere sand You need to make being in an alliance mean more than just event rewards and help. Why is it still not possible for members to request a donation of rss, bps, or whatever? Let the higher level players in the alliance give the lower level players a bit of help. Of course, put restrictions on how often a request could be made and how much could be given - but do something!
There are players that purposely go through mining systems and kill all the miners, then run away. How about creating a character that can activate the ship’s self-destruct and take out any attacker, or at least do serious damage to the attacker. Maybe give it some percentage chance of activating during battle.
Would be nice to exchange all unused Borg points and rewards for bp s of the new ship, also if the admirals and Commodore s could gift excess bp of ships to alliance members they would still have to upgrade their shipyard to build it

Lol, you clearly haven’t meet Bubblewrap on our server. Anyway, that’s why I’m suggesting a self-destruct that will take the attacker with you to equalize the situation a little bit more. Or at least take out like half of the attacker’s hull.
@tall plinth I have been dealing with the same thing. Instead of self destruct how about leveling the playing field? A lot of these guys stay at lower level and dump cash (rightfully so) into the game to have ships that the same level players cannot compete against. What I was thinking is adding rule that if you are +or - 1000 power level of ship you can attack even if not within your level you can attack.
Example: level 17 player with 300k ship. Level 21 and up can attack if ship is within match range, 299k - 301k

No. Saying keep other rules as is. But add this one to level playing field a bit. You can still loot but when a level 17 going around system with a 300k northstar knocking everyone off at lower levels with regular 20-40k surveyors and folks with higher powered ships cannot do anything about it you have created a borderline invincible player.
This would only apply to lower level players so they can be matched against levels of ships that match theirs.
But in a finite range
And just using those levels as an example.
@warm hill maybe just make it so that if a higher level player cannot hit a certain lower level player, that lower level player cannot hit that higher level player. Whatever thresholds they chose to limit how low you can hit, it should go both ways.
I think the big guns should still be able hit the smaller guys and keep everything like it is with the addition of higher level ships being able to be matched to lower level players when it comes to ship battles over all.
My idea is more around ship power range to match things up a bit and help alliance members when they are under attack.
Kind of the point of alliance to learn from and get assistance or backup when needed.
I'd like to see nodes become open pvp. There's an issue on my server with level 14 and less parking on nodes and most of the server can't hit them. Regarding base raiding, it needs to be tightened. There is no logic on someone being able to raid someone 10+ levels under them.
The 1000 +/- would kill the game. No more raiding, Or taking some one off a zero node. Maybe just try warping away when the person comes close to you. Pvp is a part of the game. Having the current setting where you can be hit by someone 10 lvls higher adds to the risk in the game.
I would like to suggest a QoL improvement for us Note users; support for the S-Pen. This would be a HUGE QoL improvement for many people like myself.

It's intentionally weak at low tiers as are all ships...the 3* ships you are comparing it against are maxed out giving them a full crew bonus plus all the other advantages of a t9 vessel. ISS Buyersremorse isn't weak per se it just hasn't fully realized it's potential at t4 or lower
Also it's a 4* at level 39...how many other 4* ships are available then?
The Armada is pain to police some players don’t read alliance chat and join when other have already joined meaning the players with better ship do the Armada should automatically lock in the first players to respond and press join button so all players no matter at what level get a chance to take part. The refinery is still very poor on return having the choice on what three you want would be better than the randomness of it is very frustrating, thank you

Been thinking about the increased need for extra ships that we face at the moment, the Vi'dar for Borg activities, the Franklin for the Swarm, D'vor for latinum mining, Botany Bay for the data mining, and with so many events running it's becoming a nightmare to compete in them all , especially critical ones like the month long events.
Part of this problem is the repairing of ships. It needs addressing in some way soon.
I've been thinking about how it could work to repair multiple ships at the same time. Could there be a penalty in repairing more than one at the same time. i.e.
5% extra repair time for two ships, 15% for three ships and 30% for four ships repairing at the same time.
That would let us do more events at the same time, being able to repair as needed, and then complete them in a more organised way.
I'd even be happy with a slight reduction in the amount of speedups we get to allow multiple repairing.
At the moment it's a real headache and doesn't make much sense other than it looking like people are being forced to 'buy' speed ups or latinum to complete events.

I suggest adding independant credits to the event store like the factions, where you can exchange charged nanos for them. 50 credits a day is ridiculous when you need 4k+ to promote some of these independant officers.

Regarding the Easter Event: A suggestion I would have is to make sure that lower level players (below 19) are offered the ability to mine 2* resources as an alternative. Additionally, the next time you plan on doing a singular resource type per day, just don't. There has been nothing but chaos server wide and on top of that you punish those who happen to be hostile with Factions of the daily resource, which prevents or seriously hinders their ability to compete and complete the milestones for the event.
I personally believe that all mining events should be unrestricted by type so as to maximize participation. Look over all the negative feedback you've garnered in response to the one event. And I firmly believe that over half the populations of your servers feel the same but don't say anything, because they either don't know where to comment, or don't have the capability to comment on the discord platform.
I suggest a marketplace be added to the station. Here you could trade both ways: common<->uncommon<->rare
And to please the whales, you could add in an inordinate requirement of lat to buy uncommon/rare
The last thing I care about in the game that it’s lacking and needs to be fixed badly. Alliance leaders NEED TO KNOW the idle time of their members. I don’t get why this hasn’t been implemented yet. Scopley has this in their Looney Toons of Mayhem game, so it’s not like they don’t know it’s normal to have this for alliance leadership.
@sly finch There are many things that should be implemented in this game and they are not (all games of this style but with different themes have it, the VIP system, seeing who is connected in your alliance and the last connection, the translator, the investigations that affect the entire alliance, discounted offers and much more)
PvP event - have systems specifically designated for event. Event points are scored by mining points from node. Maybe put 3-5 nodes in each system. If you want to opt out of event it’s easy, don’t go in system. For those that want to play it would be a blood bath and involve strategy from alliance mates to defend nodes. Alliance and solo leaderboards with great prizes to encourage participants. This also uses the current gameplay metrics so it should be an easy program.

Based on todays mess up, I used my noggin to formulate some words. Some people liked it, so I'm reposting here.
How about, Scopely sets up an event store to use in situations like this. Instead of giving everyone the same rewards, give everyone a set amount of tokens based on level, that they can spend on stuff in this event store? Some people could get ship BPs, shards, rss, really anything they want.

@tulip barn I am confused by your comment. I like the Easter Event. But you make it sound like G3 was the required rss. My required rss was G2. And for the record 19 and under May not be able refine G3 but like you many of us have G3 daily and faction requirements. Those requirements are not limited to 20 and above. I wish more players knew this especially before players start suggesting blasting us off nodes or threaten to change roe to ban us from G3 as my server frequently talks about doing
I would definitely like to see more for our money out of the store. spend a hundred bucks on a pack you should be able to upgrade something. Three star and four star materials.
@frank timber my apologies in misunderstanding that they had already done a level differential for resource grades (2* and 3*) it's really frustrating to a lot of players that a 14 or 15 level player can essentially lock down a grade 3 resource node and no one is able to knock them off. Perhaps a better solution is to set the strike levels by system where grade 3 materials are present? I don't know. There's something there that needs to be considered though when resources are limited in scope.
On the other hand on my server the threat is so constant by the Biggs that if a fortunate is placed the 16s envoys remove them upc. For that matter to appear to “stay with in roe” they often pay mercs with cash or with rss to remove 19 and under upc. And quite often the players doing the removing are alternate accounts for the Biggs. All this does if force players to mine with warships. Which are even slower.
Please work on the PvP level ranges.
I don't get the point if a lvl 30+ can attack a lvl 22 when this player can't even attack a lvl 19. I find this verry unfair. Like starting from lvl 20 if you don't use shields all the time you can highely except a high level to simply just one shot your base..? 🤔
@cyan lynx I talked w/ customer service and say “this is a PvP game.” Not necessarily. PvP is a part of the game but not all of the game. It honestly just makes people mad & want to leave the game!
@frank timber true but level 14s don’t need 3* materials. They hog the nodes at 0 and it’s super annoying. Also, level 19&under’s requirement isn’t that much.

I’d like to second the idea of alliance stations where alliance members can dock once a day and drop off rss, mats, bps, etc, and pick up from the on board stock like @viral slate suggested. If you want to do a pvp addition to it you could allow maybe 10% to be unprotected if another alliance breaks it down (armada style?)

Diplomacy is ok but that should be bilateral and benefits, if I add sum1 as allie they should accept and then both alliances cannot attack each other

@austere sand really need to make events and things more interesting....lots of long term players are becoming bored and will be dropping out....there is so much potential that is not being utilized. Please make it fun again!
@spare hawk I am a 14 and I have 10k G3 requirements in Klingon crystal and fed Gas, I also have faction kill requirements. If I want to gain faction points to promote my officers then I need to meet my daily requirements. Try mining 10k G3 With a fortunate. That takes a while. My requirements are no less important to me than yours are to you.
@frank timber then don’t sit and hide at level 14 for forever. The faction levels you are at are really meant for people ops 20 and up.

Now server transfer tokens have been given to low levels, the number of mines blocked with 2nd accounts is getting out of control.
Is there any plan to address this? I'd suggest a lower level limit to mining g3 res, maybe level 18.

More mines is the obvious solution, remove the feeling of needing to reserve mines 🙄
But if you look at mining compared to other aspects of the game: it's slow and drawn out, too easily disrupted, and ends up with people running around trying to find a mine all day. The amount of time people need to be in mines should be reduced, maybe compromise by making it a more active activity; equipment failures, pirates, the rare mining explosion that wipes out a system 😆
more engagement, quicker turnover, less "omg another day of sitting on a mine".
Please review the store offers policy in a way that not only dumb people buy stuff, but also regular folks with a brain can buy some interesting stuff

@gloomy pendant, @crude sentinel, I agree with both of you in that we need more nodes per system as well as a lvl limit on the nodes. I've actually seen a lvl 14 blocking a node in or around Kaisu, of all places. Turns out he maxed out Scotty on his Jellyfish to get his station moved to Roberton so he could rea h it... just because.
@dusk cairn likely an alt. Very difficult to clear, that can just sit there all day and night until they want to mine on their main. Also handy for rogues and wars, just park it next to the mine and move it on if your main is hit. Server transfers have allowed existing players to make new accounts and bring them across to do this very thing. It has been happening the entire time, but most people didn't even think about it until their server was closed to new accounts or they just had bad luck in the server roulette.
Actually, I know the guy from when were in a previous Alliance together. He went into the hospital for a long while, so his account stalled. Since he got home he's been on recovery and only occasionally plays, but focused on Scotty and his Jellyfish so he could explore as far as possible. In the process, tho, he's run into some of our server's bullies and decided to get back at them by blocking nodes on occasion. I told him it doesn't have the desired effect and only aggravates the rest of the server, but he says it gives him that small measure of satisfaction, so he keeps doing it. 🙄
Trouble is the small nodes are meant for small players. Not really as low as level 14, but level 16-22 (ish) then bigger players should be in bigger nodes.
Trouble is, there are nowhere near enough bigger nodes, so it pushes them down to small nodes, which increases pressure on small players

Sounds more like a system to add "safe" areas where PvP is restricted, and PvP areas where you get bonus resources. But you'd need to disable protected cargo I think for it to work 😅

@lean bolt I am not hiding at 14. I am playing the level rather than paying the level. On my server the most of Biggs have abandoned their lowers and then raid the crap out of the new players when they hit level 22. The newbs get so little mentoring that a 12 could destroy them if they could target them. Because the Biggs on my server have dumped their lowers And bullied so many teams into non existence, they buy alternate accounts because cannot clear nodes. They create alternate accounts to which they hide in feeder alliances and then place them in other alliances as spies and try to disrupt them. If that doesn’t work They try to change roe banning those of us who remain from G3 space. ROE applies only to the lowers while the Biggs chose to ignore it. I think the cowards need explore upper level space and try playing above their levels instead of playing below your level. If they Keep it up there will eventually be a revolt where every 19 and under in the galaxy stands up against you or you will have a dead server. If they revolt then good luck removing all those 14s you despise.

The game tells me what is necessary not you or any one else
Upper level space is a lot harder to access than you think. Upgrading warp engines take a long time! Also, my alliance (which is rather large) allows level 14’s, even though most are level 21+, to destroy the level 14’s with the jellyfish sitting on nodes. Jellyfish take forever to mine and it takes away from higher level players who have a higher mining requirement for 3* materials, that’s not even for daily faction requirement. Lastly, yeah bigger players are more important to scopely. They’ve invested time and most, likely money into the game. So the higher levels don’t want to wait for a level 10-14 with a war ship to get off a 3* node.
It also depends on the server you’re on. The one I’m on is fairly good with roe. Your best bet is to join an active alliance that will help you out. If you’re complaining about ROE being so bad at level 14, then you’re gonna hate it once you get in level 20+ cause the range increases. @frank timber

The example of warships mining was an example of IF a revolt were to ever break out.
Scopely is looking for ways to bring new players in. All I see is Biggs beating up on littles. Biggs changing the rules. Biggs ignoring the rules. On my server the biggest if the Biggs had a separate set of rules that applied to them. If you hit them OPC then your whole alliance was KOS for two weeks. That is the kind of crap I see on my server. The only reason I got on this channel was to say allow the littles to be able to fight back.
The game used to fun for the lowers. They could act as scouts and pick out targets for their allies to hit. The Biggs complained and that ended
The lowers are like flies on a wall. Allow them to help defend the hive when a hive attack occurs. Like a honeybee against a bear.
Now I watch allies, we will say level 27 ish get hammered by a 39 ish. There is too much disparity of power here With no way to counter it.
@frank timber A lot of blah blah blah for someone who is ignoring the fact the faction reps you are at were and are designed around players at higher ops. Not their problem to fix your inability to grow to a size appropriate for the tasks you put yourself into. You have two options: grow and get bigger ships, or drop rep back down to where your dailies are doable. The main mission paths for the game literally guides you into doing factions at lvl 20-22, it’s a large part of the pve game at that point.

At one point Scopely finally realized most have past 2*, and increased 3* nodes to make the game mostly playable. We are months later, the 3* nodes are filled and we get endless mining events, nearly half of every week. The game being about mining practically is not enough? As players have advanced, these 3600 nodes are getting real painful.. There could be 5-6 resets on one for a single daily. Multiply that by 5-8x for one of those for a mining event. Scopely needs to increase 3* mine size, maybe even add a few more. This is insane....
Honestly I think that we should be able to trade in other faction credits for other factions like trading Klingon credits into Federation credits I don’t know if anyone else thinks this is a good Idea but I hope it comes to the game.

Probably already suggested. Allow Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium production to continue and not shutdown due to warehouse limits. Allow it to continually add to the inventory instead of being a clickable item to collect. This adds a purpose to the dead bases that are taking up space. Adds purpose to keeping the generators upgraded to the active players. It does lower the need for these materials to be mined, but in reality hardly anybody every mines these anyway.
@shrewd rose no I don't agree with auto-recall... That's such an easy way out for many many players to avoid being taken for over cargo loot.
My idea above, is very simply, when a mine hits 0, whatever ship is on the mine, is auto-moved off the mine to the side of the node.
If it's over cargo, it can still be hit.
If the player is active, they can move back on the mine.
If they're not active, another player can use the mine.
Simple, but effective.

Leaving a miner out in the middle of space is asking for trouble with people claiming they were "refreshing", but recall gives them just the 5 second spool up time to abort otherwise they are out of the system and unable to make such a claim
Introduce more ways to aquire officer badges, remove 10min bubble and remove auto bubbles. How are you supposed to drain someone loaded when the bubble keeps going up all the time? 🤔🤔😅

I took 19k over cargo Latinum before the end of the event earlier. I've found many many player's on 0 mines and over cargo.
Your idea would take away my option to take their unprotected cargo.
Not at all, they would have been accumulating for hours before their node hit zero. If you don't have people checking on the regular, then you're very lucky on your server
frankly, if someone is just a few hundred over, they are risking being taken on our server. If you manage thousands, well played
so it's not taking away your option, just reducing the time-scale for your option to take their unprotected cargo

Ability - Warp Core Breach
When an attacking player intiates combat with another ship, final round actives a possible (low percentage) warp core breach of losing player. Thus taking out attacker/aggressive players. The greater the difference between players, say lvl 40 vs lvl 27 the greatervthe chance of warp core breach. The closer the lvl difference the less chance of warp core breach.
@shrewd rose sometimes it goes up every 1hour aswell. Takes forever to drain someone with 500m + all the extra lag and restarts you gotta do
And if you raid multiple bases it takes even longer
@austere sand Is the team already looking at the possibility of Faction Rep Cap for players under level 39? I'm level 33 and already approaching 30M Fed Rep and I can't mine G4 rss cause I can't even get into dark space. I need to keep doing Fed events, missions and dailies to collect Fed tokens but I'm gaining rep very quickly. Maybe a cap at 29,999,999.... so players who have already grinded 10M through 30M don't have to do that once they reach lvl 39?

The lack of uc 3* rss almost makes this game unplayable. You should turn lat spending on for it or decrease the refinery timers to like 5-6 hours
@austere sand one idea is the ability to turn off loot from destroyed enemies, or jettison loot you dont want, so situations like this don't happen where you're mining in enemy space but your cargo hold fills up with the parsteel and trit from the auto-generated hostiles and not with what you're there to mine in the first place
@austere sand now as you see even though I finished the node, and it was shown as mining crystal even though my cargo was full somehow, when I moved off the node, all I had was the par and trit from the hostiles that kept bouncing off me and none of the crystal. You see the problem from here
Just to give you all an idea of how much fun the above "Transfer Power to X" mechanic would be...
Transfer Power to Engines (Utility) would result in a 15% increase to the following stats* and a 5% decrease to Attack, Defense, and Health stats.
*Example here is from my North Star.
With Transfer Power to Engines selected:
Impulse Speed: 126.5
Warp Range: 45
Warp Speed: 5.4
Cargo Capacity: 14,950
Protected Cargo: 2353
Mining Bonus: 1495
This would also alow the option to have a 15% boost to Attack stats, 5% decrease to all other stats, or...
Have a 15% boost to Defense stats, 5% decrease to all other stats, or...
Have 15% boost to Health stats, 5% decrease to all other stats.
So that's 4 different "Transfer Power to X" options, that you could adjust on the fly, using ship management.
I love this idea and it would make it feel much more "Trek" and allow for much more interesting battles.
Allowing player's to set ships purpose for attack, Defense, tanking, speeding, or mining.

I would like to see more options for alliance diplomacy controls. I.e., add ability for setting notes to each, add more symbols (currently allies, friendly, hostile—maybe add war, nap, etc), add ability to not allow alliance ships to attack without breaking an order (maybe a pop-up that says warning, you’re alliance has set a no attack order on this alliance, or something to that effect).
I also think there should be a shield tracking mod. So maybe just a small info button on your shield list where it tracks say, the last 10 shields applied, date/time and shield length. I hear many player complain about setting a shield and being attacked. Maybe have a way for them to track it so they can see when they set it.
I wish me better options for pve players. For Ship Upgrade i need to farm weeks over events. Much Systems very less with G3 Spots. Tritanium spots so low in quantity and slow mined to farm an ship Upgrade With it
Sort out the lack of 3* nodes and for the love of god stop people mining them with botany bays and d’vors, you made the Franklin and Vidor only useful for certain hostiles why can’t they be only for specific materials?
I wish I could swap ships without needing to repair the one I am on to 100% first. If the one you swap to becomes less than 100% then that would be ok, but if that is too difficult to calculate then swap to the new ship but when swapping back to the old ship it remembers the % health of that ship so you repair it at that later time.
Price Drop
If the cash prices for the items listed were 1/5 of what Scopely is currently charging, far more players would be buying them and Scopely would in all probability see a net increase in cash flow due the increased number of purchases.

@rotund hazel That would be to put the pack of 100 to only 20, although this would be more convenient, I think it would be more convenient for them to give double or triple what they currently give due to the prices that are available now or from time to time to give some discount.
a notification in officers tab for officers that can be leveled up. At the moment it only shows me who can be promoted. To see who can I increase level I have to go through them all one by one.
We want that event that earns tokens to exchange for pieces of ships. Let's all ask for this event.

If all your ships need 20k to level up and you have 10k experience to use then it’s useless

More specialist ships than ever, more specialised crew needed to make the most of them and STILL crew management is an afterthought for Scopely.

Be able to search for crew using sensible criteria, e.g. search for Borg, search for crew for hostile hunting etc..
More to the point, will we ever get more ways to obtain crew badges and independent credits for promotions
As it stands rn a f2p gets to pick their 3 favourite officers and those get to be maxed (unless they need ic's to promote in which case wait 4 years)
A suggestion that may have previously been rejected or may actually occur on a rare basis that I haven’t encounted in the past 4 or so months:
Under Sales/Offers, as with options for buying based on ship class, offer a pure G3/G4 sale of items. For example, under G3 Crystal, only offer 1500 Uncommon G3 Crystal for $99.99. Maybe add the typical few Latinum, but it’s primarily the previous mentioned. Maybe add a smaller Rare set with them. But nothing else. Do G4 separate and, of course, those are probably offered fewer than the G3 amounts. But for some of the higher up folks, “middleweights” if you will, large amounts at one time of G3 to be purchased becomes costly. Shipyard 35 for me is 1100 G3 Uncommon Crystal. Yes, yes, I know, mining. Nevertheless, if it were all about nothing more than gaming, you wouldn’t have Sales/Offers. So this should be a valid purchase option.
And, yes, I’ve seen the raw item Offers. But I also think buying bulk Uncommon/Rare items as above is useful also.
How about more events that are crystal related?

I suggest an event that when completed gives you the ability to add a path to create shortcuts from system to system. These could be permanent for you to use or easier to earn but are one time use. The added paths being only available to the creator. Normal warp restrictions would apply. An Alliance Event might allow the Admiral to place a short cut the entire alliance could use. Creation of these added paths would require careful consideration as to where you place them.
A ‘vice admiral’ rank in alliances, this is to help when alliances merge, the admiral of the second alliance becomes the vice admiral to reflect their previous rank

To implement usage of transporter patterns for rare officer shards.
We get thos patterns from maxed rare officers, it would make sense to have option for further rare officers recruitment.
I would suggest to bring up an event where u can win command/science/etc badges to promote officers.
I'd like to be able to pause the repair of a ship. I have one right now that needs another 3 hours to finish repairing and a 2nd ship that only needs 2 minutes to repair. I'd like to pause the repair of the first ship, do a quick fix on the 2nd to get it back to 100% and then go back to working on the 1st ship.
2min repair should cost you 1 or 2 lat for an instant repair? manage another ship and scroll to find the partially damaged ship and the insta-repair button will be there @faint gazelle
That's not the point. I could also use my speed ups to finish the 1st repair, but I don't want to use those limited resources. A nice feature would be to pause the repair of the first ship so I could work on a different ship that I want to prioritize higher. Also, when I pause working on the first ship, it should be useable with a partially fixed hull. If the ship had been completely destroyed and I let the repair run for 25% of the entire repair time, then the ship should be usable with 25% hull health.

Not sure if devs reads this, but here is one thing I really miss ingame. So here is my first post on this page, hope its read since I don’t know anywhere else to post it.
For me It’s strange that a game that rely on communities and dialog with other player does not have a way to find them. There should be an ingame search engine where you could search up players by their ingame name for a chat if needed. If my admiral asked me to talk to a player for diplomatic reason for instance you have to search for them by alliance lists, and it’s even worse if its none alliance players outside of the top 100 lists, its practically impossible to find them unless you know where their base is or you have a chat history with the player, and to be honest the chat history is a joke since it keeps resetting. So a tip for improvement, a ingame search engine for the players on the server.
Oh, almost forgot, the tip is free, wont charge anything 😋

Can we improve alliance management by introducing an alliance noticeboard system much like the news channel that Scopely does when you log in? Admirals/Commodores able to post changes in alliance policies or urgent must read messages?
I suggest another 10of10 event, jaylah had 3 events -- the other three were week long and sprinkled in the 3 day Easter egg hunt - officer chest pulls. The news gave a Q&A of the borg arc saga but I didn't see 10of10 anywhere. Of course it's a mystery on event roll outs but I haven't seen any indication of another 10of10 tribble anything in the future.
They just had a event that gave out all the bps for a vidar, and another event that gave out half the bps for it @tacit magnet
I suppose some of you will find this to be an interesting request, but what about adding the ability to attack alliance members? You could flash a “warning page” just like attacking when you have a peace shield up to make sure you really want to attack an alliance member. But this would be useful in a number of instances, including clearing zeroed miners as well as letting players experiment with ships and crews with their friends in controlled environments.

Now we can do the same with Borg probes for faction credits/rep points
My suggestion is to add some more store items:
- ship parts
- g3/g4 rss
- officer recruitment cards
- maybe some bps
And leave this open permanently, it would give the free 2 play grinders a way of “doing more” when they come online. For example many are hamstrung by needing to mine, or hunt hostiles for parts etc etc, but very difficult to do this even remotely quickly as a free player and therefore you upgrade path is incredibly slow - this creates a huge divide between the whales and the lower levels sometimes even to the point of being outside the pvp range.
I’m not suggesting making it as easy to progress for a free player, but giving them just a few more chances to buy/redeem/exchange for common items they need would help keep them engaged in the game which keeps more players playing and gives the higher levels more player to prey upon... which in turn keeps them engaged and spending money - WIN WIN WIN 👍
Let us trade in these useless bps for independent credits, and trade in faction ship bps we don’t need for faction credits.

We love the game, but are missing a very simple but valuable piece.
Please consider giving us Ship Officer Presets! 10-12 would be nice.
This way, we can swap out the complete officer set with the click of 1 button. I'll have each Fast Mining Set, a hostile attack set, Base Defense Set, Raiding set, etc....
Instead of taking so long every time we switch a ship to manually find and click on each crew member, now we can spend all that saved time playing, building, attacking, defending, and buying packs (unless you run out of them of course).
The Virus Pandemic is a great time to consider this issue and make the multi-galaxies happy with STFC! Thanks for considering this suggestion. (Feel free to msg me for more details of layout, application, process, etc of this need.)

Or being able to set and save a specific crew for every ship. Then when you set that ship you have its crew in place, you'll be notified about crew conflicts if the officer is already on another ship, you can ignore or replace that crew member... Just thinking in text a bit....

Been said before but still isn't sorted. We need a way to unstick ships getting stuck in battle. Having to reload to game so frequently because of this issue is getting very tiresome and restricting gameplay
Agreed that would be great. Its frustrating losing a ship in hostile space when doing events or daily actions and the ship gets stuck after a battle.
Not sure if posted yet but could you possible add third option to the gui that toggles system name to node type and add 3rd that reflects system ship types? @austere sand @silent wave

Love the Faction Hunts Events ... would like to see additional levels (beyond 4) for each of the factions ... like up to six going to maybe 1200 and 1500 points needed along with the fitting rewards.

It's not like PvP is in any way actually balanced or that miners can hold their own against warships if you tighten the bands up, so it's mostly raiding that people seem to get upset about; shield and problem solved.
@solemn dirge I've been thinking of officer presets for a long time and sent in one or two concepts in tickets, but lately I realized being able to create labels is a much better way to look at it than ask for a preset with a hardcoded amount of spots.
Of course, they need to add more sort orders, you can't even sort by a/d/h, let alone filter by ability type!
I also realized they will never do this considering I don't think they have ever fixed officer bugs

Except any trading centre or market in game would always be at our loss. So if you threw in 5m (that sounds a lot?) Uncommon ore you might only get 3m gas or less.
Most mmo's I've played with a trade feature impose a posting fee. Easy to do in games like world of Warcraft where there's a single main currency...trickier here where the best equivalent we have is latinum
I'm not opposed to a trade feature that takes a cut but given scopely's track record I'd be worried they'd make it far too punitive to be useful
I don't think player to player trading will work, not without a massive redesign on packs.. but if you make it just a computer market and steep costs it'd give you more access to what you need while being able to unload what you don't, and without essentially giving players a secure bank for storage of resources.
You can then also have a market currency rather than relying on latinum as currency.
The only take away from that statement scopely will see is "player trade = less sales"...they will only implement trade if it has the potential to positively impact sales metrics. In other words: keep dreaming

Time, rss, ship xp/lat, speed ups/lat investment you mean? Plus it's yet another building requiring vast amounts of resources to upgrade in order to keep it up to date with your needs
Scrap yard is a prime example of the playerbase asking for something and scopely giving them a hamster wheel
You can farm and wait for all of the scrapyard scrapping needs..
And you might call it a hamster wheel, but plenty of players use it to supplement their grade 3 and 4 material production 🤷♂️ I'm eventually going to use it to get primes, because I'd rather spend months working on it than pay those prices 😂

Yeah, the lack of ship XP events is annoying, though it does keep the events more relevant to your level I suppose.. still ok for me though, upgrading those T3 ships to scrap 😅
