@lethal edge - Scopely needs to understand that as faction reps locked people treated this as part of the game (which it clearly was) and built strategy and spent real money maxing multiple reps. Surely a way to preserve the integrity of the game and a level playing field for all is to have a soft lock or floor at 10M - what you do after that is new content so everybody is clear on how it works so treat that however you want no locks etc. You cannot just remove something people have spent real $$$ doing with no way of knowing it would be removed from them.

My idea is. Put the faction locked in amounts back. Like before the update. Furtermore add more locked in amounts along the way. Changing the parameters of the game is not working for me.

Do the commendation ranks in the faction store do anything other than waste money? From reading the tooltip "This token is a testimony of your relationship with a faction" one could infer they would lock in your faction rep at each level...right now it seems like you just waste tokens and get a garbage quest reward per level.

Suggestion - have dilith gen crank out more dilith. At lvl 38 I am pushing 4K+ for a full gen run. With only 4, that’s 16k - won’t even cover the repair of my intrepid. It would be nice for it to push out more and to have a higher limit as this is a life blood for ships and later modules and research

Suggestions- We have a Ferengi ship, can we get a Ferengi crew? More characters would be nice. We need Chekhov for one and we need a second mining crew, specially when most of the game consists of mining resources.
Also, have a crew slot on base to improve area of the base. Guns, shields, gens, etc

@lyric plover the point is you cannot change game content that people have invested in and will loose the vast majority of that invested benefit. That simply is wrong and not necessary. Leaving in a soft floor at 10M and expanding faction rep are NOT mutually exclusive.

The amount of time it will take for one rep to lock Is more then the life on this game at this point. I spend some honestly but G4 is whatever to me I’ll maybe get there but rep is a huge point of contention. Please just make sure they know that. @lyric plover I’m not certain it even works I did the research and I saw no improvement.

Armadas get the no notification filter bucket. generators complete get a tiny quiet ding. attacks that actually propogate to the phone as notifications get a blast of airgun followed by red alert until you silence it. 😉

Well, there's an area in the setting menu for notifications, so it could already be a planned feature (to endable/disable different "event" notifications), but dear god, it needs to be implemented sooner rather than later.

Alliance Star Systems: claim a system for your alliance, with alliance only resources. System has 2-3 stations (like armadas). Each station is some % of the alliance's total power. To claim a system, an alliance must destroy these bases every week or so. To capture a system, a rival alliance must destroy their stations.

While under control, that alliance's survey ships are indestructible when attacked.

i would like to assign officers to a ship and not a dock. just makes more sense no military in the world or galaxy does it the way its done here. also being able to give my duplicate ships an id marker be it a number or a letter. when buying chest (recruits etc..) a slide so i can pick the number of chest i want instead of having preset amounts. all of these things would make life easier and more fun

Reinstate the faction locks. You could even have it so that low level locks at 10,000,500 and a high level lock at 1,000,000,500.

With the low level lock you don't get Trained Fighters attacking you, but you still get War Coalition, War Army, etc. on you. When you get the high level lock then you get no faction fighters on you.

Would be nice if the PvP levels were not so wide ranging. I mean, a level 21 player with a strongest ship powered at 70K doesn’t stand a chance against a level 27 player with a strongest ship powered at 350K. It’s not a fair fight.

Oh, and you shouldn’t lose shields when PvP unless you’re attacking a base. And maybe make it so you can’t attack a ship on a mining node unless that ship is OPL or the node is zeroed out.

Not really a idea for the game, more an idea for the PR/Comms and particularly management. It’s obvious to everyone that the games in a bit of a state. Part of the issue is the lack of communication, both on here and in the game. There seems to be a complete lack of basic customer service skills and you’re taking us for granted. Show some humility, acknowledge the issues, tell us what’s being done about it and when and be generous in making recompense. And some basic development advice, fix the old problems before releasing new content.

@austere sand Would love to see a increase warp speed button at the expense of your shields to 5%. Your shields must be at full to use and drop to 5% after using warp speed increase. This last for one warp and no shield recharge until out of warp. Your shields will have a slower recharge as penalty. Once fully charged the penalty is over and button is usable again in the next warp. Gives the feel of power allocation during warp.

Not very fair for a person that is on every day playing 5 hours in a 30 man alliance having to grind there ship when a person playing once every 4 days for a hour that day having a ship that the other person has worked hard for. Just seems unbalanced.

And it's not like it was completely free. Others in the alliance still had to grind out the BP pieces. The grinding was just spread out.

But yes, since alliances do indeed seem to be only limited by how much their members contribute resources, some sort of limit does seem prudent.

The alliance I’m in has 72 players and almost all very active I could quickly see this being the case. Players having ships instantly ready for them when turning levels. The resources needed would already be calculated and on discord so the player would know what resources to save and could even have alternate ships using different resources so it could easily be done.

I myself stopped leveling just to build up my ship power before getting dailies higher then I could handle. Swarm are still a struggle for me with every 2 levels. My level is at 28 but will be stopping at 29 to again raise ship power before moving on.

My last big leveling pause was at 27. I have seen many people keep grinding up there level to find out they couldn’t do any of the daily’s they currently have. It’s way past there ship power. Or officer levels.

@low holly LOL as of right now if you want to instantly have a ship when u turn a new level you must send SCOPLY $200. Umm don’t see that changing. If it takes money from the game it isn’t going to happen.

I would love seeing the warp speed idea I proposed added into the game. Everyone I have told about it loves the idea as well as adding many research components to the game for it. It may even make the Armada pvp more challenging and fun. If that ever happens. You would be much more of a target coming out of warp in a ship with 5% shields and SLOW shield recharge. Also gives the underdog a chance to take out a bigger ship in a fight.

I believe the assumption is that some of the players already have the ship that is attempting to be built, thus they can get BPs for it much easier.

they can yes, but it means they have to spend faction credits on it, unless they have some lying around they will never use, so at the end of the day I could hardly see how every new member that turns 26 or 28 will suddenly get all the BPs from the alliance

If the upper levels are dumping there faction credits on me then I would dump mine on those below me. The rate of faction BP’s funneling into players could get very large very fast. Especially if the player was focused on by players higher then them in a order system. There would be enough players in my alliance to buy my bortus in just a day. And then move on to another player. The 30’s using faction for 20’s and 40’s for 30’s and so on.

I would assume that level 50’s will get to a point they need resources and not a big use of faction credits.

Most of The large alliances have many whales the faction credits for the most part would trickle down from the top very fast. As it sits now you control your rate of growth either by game time or your wallet. By having a trade in system it stays on that same level.

Would be nice to have a alliance storage of resources but the amount you could be allowed to be given per day limited. I could only be given 2mill trit from alliance storage per day. So I still need to play to get to my upgrade goal.

Anyway most of the really good ideas never happened. Still waiting on the crew loadouts for quick crew changes.

I have been thinking about the alliances. 74 people is a lot to keep on the same page. My suggestion is to cap alliances at 50. At each upper level, let the helps be a little stronger. Perhaps add a warp/repair time bonus at each upper level.

Our terminology in the game is naval in nature. We have fleets. We have ships. Our computer generated crew have naval ranks. So why haven’t you given our live players in the game the ability to achieve the same ranks? This game has been active for a year now. I think it is time to program into the game ranks consistent with everything else in the game. In an alliance we should have fleet admiral, rear admiral, admiral ranks, captain ranks, commander ranks , Lt. Commander ranks, lieutenant ranks , lieutenant jg ranks and ensign ranks. So why don’t we?

Can you put a time out on lower level ships in the higher level systems? It's not uncommon for low level ships to sit on a 0 mine for days and no one can hit them since they are too low. Its clear they dont need the 3* resources to yet, so basically, they are wasting mine resource for folks trying to do dailies.

@austere sand The reversal of faction lock sucks. I was really hoping to get more than one faction at this rate. I’ll only be fed and it’ll be years before I get to 1B. I figure you guys won’t reverse it especially because of new ships that you’ll introduce as you go along. So what if you change it to a prestige type faction rep gain. Where it resets to zero. Kinda like going prestige in the call of duty games. Every 10M or so. So it kinda locks at respected. Can’t go below it. But at least gives others who want more options to play with different factions. Like I can focus on prestige 2 for fed or start on getting prestige 1 for another faction.

Suggestion: I think it would be a good idea to be able to change your current crew in ship around while in space. Instead of having to go all the way back to base just to move crew around. Is seems normal for crews to move around within ship without having to return home.

Just a small suggestion about the new scout hostiles. To me a scout should be seen in a hostile space rather than their own space (Klingons in fed, rom in Klingon etc) as to me a scout is more likely to be scouting an enemy rather than their own systems

Suggestion:moving officers around while away seems reasonable to do. Like one before said. Please also add an engineer spot to a bridge and some officer abilities that can mend your ship while in space. It is so annoying to be able to do most of the hostile kills and then miss one to go back to repair.

Idea would be some engineer officers with that ability. When you get him or her unlocked you can use repair speedups to fix your ship. It fixes a percentage of a ship that it would in base.

For example if it takes let's say two 10 minute speedups in base to repair so in space it would take 3 or 4 of 10min speedups to fully fix your ship. Then when you use 2 you get a half fixed ship or smth like that

Since I’m in good idea fairy mode this morning, I’d like more events like Mirror Mirror. It was nice that there were simple events that resulted in gaining player shards. And I could purchase the ability to do them several times over. There’s should be more of those for the other epic officers (Gorkon, Nero, Pike, etc). Additionally they should be on a recurring and rotating schedule. It would be nice to know that (for example) Mirror Mirror came every 90 days or something. I get that there’s some in the event store from time to time but they are seldom epic.

first off thank you for restoring faction lock. Now if you really want to steer the players towards single faction use why not make the ships above the 10M lock rep based. For example I have -2M rep with Klingons. but I also built a B'Chor. Until my rep is high enough with the Klingons I can't use the B'Chor and if I fall out of favor with the Klingons then I lose access to the B'Chor.

I have a suggestion ... how about a store where we can trade out Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium in for tokens ... you could do it for a cost, say 10% so if I have 10Million Dilithium, I can get 9Million worth of tokens.

Suggestion to have officers operate the station or a station commander/admiral (it is fleet command after all). Each group could provide a bonus. Ie one class increases research speed, one defence and one build speed. This would promote the upgrading of officers and make the larger pool more relevant.

For crew mods during flight: I think all officers should be freely movable (say thrice per trip away from base) EXCEPT for the captain- I think the captain should be set and left at base if you'd like to change then you have a single use (per trip) mutiny option [because on a real ship: the captain can move however (s)he wants to whereever (s)he wants. BUT a captain is the captain until a large majority decides they are unfit.

This way you dont have people just swapping back and forth back and forth. This gives a limit that I think would give us all a deeper game play with more strategy 😃🤔🤔👍😊

How about increased warp speed button that brings your shields instantly to 5% staying there until out of warp and then having a shield recharge penalty causing shields to recharge very slow. After fully recharged then shields go back to normal and warp speed button is available again.

So say 1- 100% speed boost (departing not returning) OR 2- range increase of...idk 4/5/6 (once you get there you can only come back to systems in your normal range)

I really don’t mind leaving my shields down while playing or raiding though even with no ships in station. They won’t crack as of yet with a 600k survey ship and the big attack ships wouldn’t get enough resources on a one hit crack to hurt me. But might be different being able to be hit by 45’s.

@warped mesa Idk maybe my info wasn’t right. I know we had issues with alliance members not being able to use it but after they kept leveling it they was able to use. I leveled mine to my level of 28 before trying it. I been building kehra vahklas and kumari for awhile now and have a lot to scrap. At least 10 of each but doing calculations now as to material to level ship to 10-20 and the scrap return to see if I can find a happy spot.

We have been seeing a problem in our server where a level 14 will move his base into a level 29 star system like Morska and sit on a crystal mine till it zeroes out then stay on that mine for days,we here have been wondering,because we don’t have anybody here that can take out said ship,if by any chance you can implement in the game an automatic recall on any ship that sits on a zero mine for more than 24 hours,so that way we don’t have someone doing this out of spite and ruining the game play for the rest of us.thank you.

or maybe after a set amount of time for 'lazy miners' you could select 'set bounty' and hire a hit on a ship (say once every 24hrs to be fair) and that bounty will be relatively priced and it will take out the player (meaning instant or under 30seconds flight and it could be maxed out lvl 50) then the node is clear for use

Someone sets a bounty: it shows up on the listing and any player can go after the bounty (minus same alliance) and collect the set bounty. Might have to set up a bounty token store or just have it at a flat pay out per level of attacked player

As a f2p even if you spend a half a day playing and have luck with refinery, you eventually will hit the officers wall, badges!
I think they should put them in 30 day loyalty chest, at least one of each will be reasonable.
For example, you need 3 of them and around 15k faction credits to max a rare officers. If so, you barely can max on officers per month...more likely 2 months.
But you still need officers shards and officers xp, so will not be that much loss for them if they put in 30 day chest

  • View ship owner on info pop-up while that ship is mining (so you don't have to zoom in or scan the ship). It's there for non-mining ships, it should be there for all ships.
  • Complete redesign of the events store and everything else that scrolls horizontally and has more than 4/5 cards. This works absolutely horribly right now. It gives me as a user zero overview, it gives me zero information about things I haven't needed yet (but will I need it? how will I know? what if I miss my chance to buy it? no info!) and it always scrolls back to the first item in the list when going back/purchasing an item.
  • Allow buying multiple items in stores. This should use the speed-up mechanic with a slider rather than showing 1 - 3 options.
  • Use confirmations! Holy hell, there are zero confirmation in this game. If you accidentally buy or delete something, welp, bye! Should be with every action that costs you something in missions, buildings, research, stores, etc.
  • Let me hide the pop-up next to the mission button, let me hide the chat, let me hide other things! I have way too many things in my display that are taking up space. Why do I need an alliance button and an inbox button? Why aren't these two notification tabs in the same panel of galaxy/alliance/private? The mission pop-up sucks too, maybe I don't want to upgrade my Operations? Go away pop-up!
  • Parsteel and Tritanium look way too similar, I don't want to go blind by having to stare at it from too close up. Either change the icon or mirror it at least... Something.
  • We need a better tutorial and a comprehensive FAQ. Not what we have now. I'm adept at learning games. Anyone who isn't or doesn't care to read up on the game will abandon this game. There are so many things a new player can see that are unexplained and unclear.
  • Galaxy/system: pressing system should go to system view of the current planet, NOT my home planet. There's an entire extra button for the home planet.

  • Let me add coordinates when I search by planet name
  • Chat needs to be fixed. It doesn't work well right now. For example, typing and switching conversations retains the draft. The draft should be saved in the chat I wrote it in, not transfer along.
  • The chat preview also keeps switching tabs to the gc, even when there's nothing new there, annoying.
  • Have to ask alliance for help before I can reach the speed-up options. Why? Add the (rather useless) alliance thing in the speed-up menu. And explain that it's just -1 minute, because it honestly looks like it doesn't do anything at all. And fix it if it doesn't work for ships.
  • Better explain what the different recruit options are, why should I care about which category? Will my Cadet Figuheerlijk eventually upgrade into a regular Figuheerlijk or do I have to start putting work in getting a Premium one? Or an Ultra one? Or...
  • More clear visual hints when you can build a new building somewhere.

The rate of acquisition for independent credits is very slow in comparison to other factions and is a major obstacle to upgrading augment faction officers. Please consider adding a missions to the Daily Goals to collect data from Augment Space, that rewards with additional Independent (not augment) faction credits, etc (similar to other faction mining dailies).

Please scale the mining rates of steel, trit and dili nodes as the warp range required to reach them increases, similar to the way that latinum and data nodes work. The amounts of rss required as you increase in level are phenomenal and on low pop servers it is simply not feasible to acquire it by raiding; and not practical on any server to acquire through mining. There are plenty of rss nodes in high warp systems that go unused and an increased mining rate would provide an incentive to use them. On high pop servers, this would make it easier for lower level players to access nodes, as those who need to mine rss would seek out higher yield ones.

I enjoy getting base resourses tokens but kinda feel it's gone a bit overboard with it lately. It's so difficult to find bases to raid. Only the big players seem to have any and they are too big to raid. Event rewards should be a good mix of raw base resourses and tokens. A 50/50 split of the reward could work nicely.

Logistics prob need to get worked out but that would bring base raiding back....maybe make alliances use rare tokens for base raiding (w/ armadas)...disband them if the base is protected at the end of the timer. <@&509691205798592532> can I suggest an exchange system on armada initiatives? We don’t get enough rare or epic initiatives in return for killing the targets. What about if we could trade our uncommon for rare and rare for epic? There of corse would be an exchange rate but say 1000 uc for 200 rare, or 1000 rare for 500 epic would give players a pathway to collecting those as opposed to buying. We get the uc initiatives with our dailies so then it would encourage saving as well.
Another option for rare or epic would be to allow the alliances to pool their initiatives for an attack. That would then encourage teamwork. If there are 5 slots, and everyone contributes 100 epic initiatives, then the alliance has truly started a unified attack.

Saved Officer Configurations to easily swap between different crews. It's best to change crew based on what you are doing, like farming Red I use Starfleet Academy, Blies Glory in the Kill, neither of those work on Yellows so I use something else for that then have Aux Controls for base defense. Being able to hot-swap between them would be nice.

  1. the offers shop need a lot less 99 packs and more 9.99 or 4.99 packs. And quit removing the lower priced ones after a player uses them in order to try to force to by higher priced. Most of us can’t drop 99 bucks on a pack. But can drop 5-10, I think the volume of sales would surprise you at that level.
  2. ability to convert 2 start materials to 3 stars.

Except there is no way of getting any blueprints and it's no longer available to buy in my store. Duh.... smart move on scopelys part. (Sarcasm). There is an event store you can get franklin BPs right now but with a limit on it so that's not going to work. I could kill 1000 level 26s to complete the event but most people dont have ships that can hit that high. Hence why we need the Northstar in the first place. Scopley has a LONG HISTORY of not thinking events out. Please pass this along.

Recommendation. There are a LOT of inactive bases taking up space in heavily populated systems in our server. I would like to have a button that pops up when a system is full that allows players to flag bases as suspected inactive. This will prompt Scopely to send an alert to the player with a 7-day countdown. If they don't respond within 7 days the base is relocated to a low level system with an open planet.

@marsh basalt this has already been implemented. If a player does not log in for a certain amount of time their base is automatically relocated to a level 1 system. We have seen it happen live during day changeovers and can confirm it is working. I believe the time required for this to occur is 1 month inactive.

What about not doing the armada events until the visual bug is fixed. It shows less power that’s actually there. This results in failure when there is clearly enough strength. This is costing valuable directives (which some people pay for) which you do not offer enough in the daily’s to replenish.

Suggestions:
1: Bring back $5, $10, and $20 packs, AND either A) make them Level reactive, so we arent getting a bunch of useless materials for our levels. Or B) give us the option to purchase what we are really after. I.E. Ship parts, Materials, peace shields, speed ups, etc. And allow US to select which grade of parts or materials we are getting.
2: take one of the level 50 locked slots and create a market for level 20+ where we can trade in old ship blueprints, parts, and materials for either resources or market credits for higher grade parts, materials, and blueprints. Or even for older materials and parts if we so choose. Making the market level based would be a good idea to prevent access to higher grade materials. Like making specific ship blueprints available 2 market levels higher than the required level for the shipyard to build the ship, or even at the level of the ship but only unlocked once the player has built one. You could also add speed ups, and peace shields to the market, to make it more flexible.
3: Increase the amounts available in mines, materials by at least ×2, and Resources ×10. Mining in the game is difficult enough, but with the amounts available, it's pathetic.
4: Give alliance Admirals and Commodores better ability to track their members. The ability to see who is online at a given time. When offline members last logged in.
5: give the Chat system a MUCH better refresh rate, and more stability.
6: Seriously raise the respawn rate of Armadas, especially during events. And Hostiles in systems, set the systems up to have X number of a specific hostile in it at any given time, 30% -1 level, 40% system level, 30% +1 level. When those ships are destroyed they respawn THAT level of ship.

On the Shop packs, I would also like to note that as we raise levels the lower dollar amount packs disappear, I'm currently at level 26, and predominantly have access to only $50 & $100 packs. I can guarantee you, I will NEVER buy any of these. While $5, $10, and $20 I have zero issues with buying as I am able to, IF they give a value I feel is remotely worth spending the money for. Lets honestly think about this. A million people will buy a $5 pack at least once a week, while MAYBE a hundred will buy the $100 pack. (I'm not in marketing research, I don't know exact figures) so lets break down the math based on my numbers, 5 × 1,000,000 = 5,000,000. And 100 × 100 = 10,000. Also these packs need to actually be worth buying. They MUST be variable, based on levels. A level 26 player is going to have VERY little use for 2☆ materials and/or ship parts. Level 10 - 20 players would have a use for the 2☆ materials and parts. Level 20 - 38ish have almost zero need for 2☆ Common and uncommon materials, and even less so for ship parts. Also there need to be bundles SPECIFIC to what we are actually after, Peace shields (ONLY, maybe some latinum), Speed ups (ONLY), Ship parts (Specific type, specific grade, ONLY), Materials (Specific type, specific grade, ONLY), Resources, (Specific type, Resoruce amount and/or tokens, ONLY) and there in lies the rub, people will buy tokens, unstealable amounts of a specific resource to stock up for WHEN they need it. I'd LOVE to be able to go "Hey, I need 100k Dilithium." ~Tap shop... scroll, scroll. "$5? Sweet!" ~purchase~

Please give us the ability to reassign crew members (ie. change Captain) on a ship without having to recall your ship to base. This would be particularly useful in those times when you are on an Ore node in a system that has both Ore and Crystal and when it zeroes out you move off and when it refreshes, it changes to Crystal. Use Dragonball dokkan battle as a template or as an example for creating something similar for saving different teams of crew arrangements, that way it doesn't take 5-10 minutes to swap or change crews when your in a time pinch and absolutely need a proper pvp crew setup(like when in a rush trying to come to the defense of alliance members, allies, and friends when you were in the middle of hostile hunting, doing missions, and/or mining, when seconds and minutes count very much!)

I find it kind of frustrating that a player can suicide his mining ship after being totally loaded and die but yet be able to keep all his resources you should make the ship drop its cargo if it gets killed!!!
And to allow the cargo to float in space for other players to pick it up for 6 minutes of the time deplete and then disappear

Can you increase the spawn rate of armadas. These armada events are horrendous. I spent literally an hour searching for a 29-33 armada and found 0.
Event: kill armadas. (But there’s none to kill)

There is literally no downside in increasing the respawn rate. Also have been no lvl 30 epics spawned on our server for over 12 hours. The event is 90% searching through systems looking for armadas. 6% finding one that another alliance has already started 2% asking to join super low lvl ones that have almost a non existent reward and 2% actually participating in an armada that’s within your level range. 🖖

i try to collect several blueprints from ships. i shoot many 34 + ships to collect them and all what i got are kehra/vahklas/kumari blueprints. why is this so? would you only have these 3 ships in space? i'm not the only one who think it sucks. all ally's from my server think it sucks.

Game play suggestion: Raidable Marauder / Faction stations - large RSS value - similar to armadas in that they would require alliance raids in order to be successful. Raids would be classified as armadas so would also require directives. Level and RSS available would also be on same armada scale.

I don't know if this has been brought up about the bridge crew, but heres how I would atleast try. Ok, I was in the navy and I got a good idea for the bridge and crew members. There are a lot of people that were in or are still in the military playing this game.
Now, the bridge of a navy ship usually have atleast 6 people on it, but not trying to over due it lol. Atleast 5 on bridge
1, should have 1 strong Captain to boost officers stats. 1 [CO]
2, should have 1 strong Executive officer, make him a combo officer to aid the Cap. 1 [XO]
3, Should have 1 strong officer combo for Comms/ Nav. 1[AUX]
4, should have a strong Cheng, combo for Engineering/Tactical,1[CHENG]
5 Should have a strong Med officer 1[MD]
However yall want to put the officers is fine but just need to be a little more realistic for the ships bridge, as for the crew members they are fine as u have them now, we can pick and choose who we want in those positions. Just a suggestion, hopefully you'll consider it thx

How about a reasonable amount of independent credit? with the current setup on can max out khan in low less than 847 days of not missing a single day of data mining. Plus the amount of augment credit one can get per day means somedays I have to choose whether to get recruit or independent tokens. At least make the darn thing possible to achieve.

The possible combos would just make any ship do everything and no trade-offs. think of a saladin with infinitrle shield burn and hull breach. I would rather have it to be a choice of any and counterable. Otherwise your suggestion is really cool one.

The augment faction is weak, they have no ships, you cant move your base there.....big waste of the space....data mining is not worth the time....and what do you get for maxing the faction.....not much...How about add the cardassians in the game as another faction....the feds,roms,and klingons hate them.....yes would be harder to attain them till other faction or factions are naxd...... Dreadnought class ships a game I played Starfleet battles had them in it was a box game..... klingons had the B10 forget what the roms and feds had but the roms had enveloping plasma torps....I think adding the Borg is not a option yet ...or the dominion. Starfleet battles also had a race call the hydrans.....ships were pretty badass though. Think the excelsior class is a dreadnought class.....just thoughts

Just an idea can you make it so that when a player mines a resource node down to zero their ship backs off to a nearby random location after a few mins if they don't do anything themselves, or send the ship back to base. This will help free up nodes which are a valuable commodity.

The ability to combine shields would be amazing. I often have to waste a 1 day shield because an 8 hoir shield isn't good enough. Preventing shield abuse can be as easy as setting a limit for how much you can compound. For example, start with an 8 hour shield and apply another 1 hour shield for 9 total hours if protection, but limiting the shield length to one day and only shields that are already longer than one day not compound able

the chances of any FTP or low budget player reaching lvl 30 is less than 10% i think there is a point reached at about lvl 25 where there is a realization that unless you start dropping a few whole paychecks there is no point in continuing.

that is why the rss required to upgrade needs to be cut in half at minimum. the repair times need to be also cut in half at minimum, I have never seen a game try so hard to get you off of the game as this one. Supercell. a few years ago, the army's training times? were astronomical. I'm talking 5+ hours waiting time to build heroes taking about that long to heal. with only 2 armies to build you could attack 2 times per 5-6 hours. People lose interest when they can't play. that's a fact of every game.

What did they do? they revamped the entire army building schematic, threw the old system out entirely and made a new one, one that was 20% the time it took to build originally, made army compositions that you can save to use later to build faster. They saw a resurgence in people playing again. when they added new TC levels and building levels, did the resource counts stay the same? NO they went down at lower levels. granted there was a LITERAL cap on what you could carry. not here where there is no amount over capped to what your base can hold, which makes hoarding hold a higher and higher risk the longer you gather more.

And the higher in level you go the more dangerous to play your game becomes as the level gap to attack players becomes.

This model is UNSUSTAINABLE to low budget or no budget players. If you have no bank to play the moment you run out of shields is the day you should quit this game because there is no way you can possibly continue forward.

Can we have separate buttons for System and Galaxy views? Seems to take a loooong time to switch between these screens sometimes. I seem to repair a lot of ships because of the delays in switching being attacked by Rom/Klingon hostiles because not welcome in those systems. Or is this just an iPad issue?

Please put a limit on how low someone from your alliance can join an armada. We have folks level 30 and above showing up and bumping level 24 range folks on level 21 aramadas. Can't get experience and needed rewards if a high level player takes most of the reward or bumps you completely.

Add basic things:

  • A ship's manage page does not display the amount of shield and hull HP. It should. I've lost ships before because it's at shown 10%, but is nearly 0. Stop hiding the most essential information.
  • In a battle log, display exactly how many points shield and hull were lost as well, also show it as a percentage. Plenty of space. Stop hiding essential information.
  • Display the protected cargo in the manage display.

As mentioned before in the bugs section, the manage display must be reachable via button at all times. It's already reachable for every ship, but because of design issues you have to use another ship and then switch to it.

Scopely, I have a couple of suggestions.

  1. There are number indicators that show the numbers of contributors to help with building and research. Could those same indicators be added to show the number help contributions for ships under repair?

  2. As a player progresses through the game, daily activities continue to challenge a player with hostiles of a higher level. A few months back a patch update reversed the quantity to level for swarms. Example for pre-patch requirements: level 17 swarm: 20, level 16 swarm: 15, and level 15 swarm: 10. This was reversed to require fewer numbers of hostiles for higher level requirements while increasing the quantity for each descending level swarm. This adjustment made perfect sense, logical even. Currently, daily faction hostile requirements are still "backwards". Example: My reputation increased which presented a new challenge. 50 level 29 hostiles while requirements for level 28 hostiles dropped to, I believe, 10 hostiles. This seems backwards. As a player progresses I would expect the next higher and more challenging level to start off with a lower quantity requirement while the quantity requirements for lower level hostiles would increase. Given the modifications made for swarm space, might the same adjustments be applied to faction dailies? I appreciate your time and look forward to reading your response.

You guys have done some great work with improvements since I started playing April. I've been an officer for a few months now and I am completely disappointed with the tools you have for officers. We should be able to easily see players stats, time played per week . Power gained per week, help sent per week, etc. I know you have the data in a database and it blows me away that you haven't put together a portal for officers to have access to this data. I've been gaming since the 1990's and have never had a complete lack of player management data. What the hell is up with this? Let's change the structure of warp range...

First, change all ship warp cores to affect speed only. Maybe a boost to attack and defense as a power upgrade.

Second, tie the warp range for all ships to a dilithium fuel matrix or some such which is located on the station. This upgrade is what controls the warp range.

Now all ships in your fleet can get to places. It would allow even the simple realta to be an actual scout/explorer. Older ships/miners would be a little more useful if it was arranged this way. You could move your car around anywhere and now worry about a slightly lower tier ship being cut off and worthless.

The most exciting moment in the game is when you build a new ship 🚀 and you launch it from the Hangar, while this moment stays without any sound effect (Engine Roar) 🔊 we have other less exciting moments like resource collection or attacking a hostile or a player have that sound effect..
It would be a great thing to add an different Engine Roar effect to different ships when it is launched from the Ship Hangar..

I think the game needs to be altered to where when you select klingon and your daily is mining crystal then your upgrades should reflect what you have to mine. I'm stuck at level 25 cause i have to mine ore to get uncommon ore. And the same with ship upgrades. So i can't complete my dailies cause i want to upgrade. So why not make it to where klingons mine crystal and uses that crystal to upgrade there ships and base. And the same with federation. That way it makes it more fair for everyone to upgrade.

Common resouces are hard to get. Im not talking about uncomons but parstel, tritanium and dilitium. Example. My legionary repair is now at t6 150k tritanjium. If i want to mine this is 15h of mining. Its not just me but everyone complains about that. My suggestions would be 1) increase storage and generator output greately. Now these are prety much useless in terms of rss gathering 2) increase mining rates and mines of these resources by 5 or 10 times. 3) lower the cost and time of repairs. 4) increase rewards in ebents. Im doing all dailyes and events and my balance is still negative. Just build new horizon and am unable to lvl it up becouse i need tritanium for repairs.

Add a pvp flag for mining ships. it can only be turned on/off at your base and you get a boost to mining speed while it is on. The pvp flag is automatically turned on if you are on a zero node for more than 30 seconds or if you are over the protected cargo limit or if your mining ship attacks another ship

How about in addition to attack defence health you add mining stat to every officer and tie it to the mining bonus of a ship to improve mining with all the extra officers below the bridge.

It's been said before, and I'll say it again. Either move the "repair instantly using lat", or add a confirmation. Spending 3-400 lat when a 30 lat 3 hour would fix instantly as well is ridiculous.

  • We need more push notifications in general, you want people to play the game as much as possible, so inform them when they can.

  • Push settings to toggle each type.

The rate at which refining 3* rss to get uncommon rss is terrible. I am not sure what it is supposed to be, but 1 time per month is awful! Please improve the rate at which uncommon rss are given. I thought they were supposed to be better, but they are bad as they were previously.

1 i like to see ship tier up's get alliance helps also all tier up for ship can be sent to the hanger to keep from tying up a ship dock...2 also would like to see the alliance get a face lift and contributions for members be a thing of the past and have each alliance have its own Space Station so members of the alliance can help build it..3 the admiral window with promotion/kick needs to be shrink down to help when someone needs to be promoted or kicked..also would like a better way to track activity im finding most dont contribute especially at higher levels..alliance helps ship builds but not for tiering up ships..

I think the best next improvement would be an automatic return of mining ships after they are on a 0 node for more than 5 minutes firstly, then extent it to have you able to choose it to auto return when it gets to its protected cargo limit. The first would help clear nodes of all those low level 0 node hogs that nobody can clear.

I hate low players stuck on 0 nodes. Set a time limit. 5 min, 10 min, whatever the scopley gods decide. After that elapsed time, either you blow them up, return them to base and tuck them in for the night, or remove all guidelines so anyone can deal with them.

A better option would be to despawn the node (which would knock off the miner) and to respawn it

@austere sand I'm having trouble in events and normal dailies due to warp range conflict between my faction miners and my event ships. any thoughts on adding tiers to Franklin, dvor, and botany bay as to increase warp? Alternatively, instead of adding tiers, add new systems in higher level space? I am not suggesting making a version 2 of event ships, as I believe that community would rage in a bad way.

Hello, I only get one point if I kill 32 swarms instead of two. New bug? If I mine gas for the dailies, it won't count. The error has existed for four weeks and is not being resolved. What shoud that?

I've also reported a mistake on a mission where I have to donate 10 million dilithium at least five times because I can't donate. This error has existed for over half a year. Will not be fixed either .

'individual armadas' - ability to attack a target (NPC or bases) with all of your own ships. Mostly for attacking bosses. I have noticed that bosses shields & health almost instantly respawn. And as I'm reading it seems as though youre supposed to be able to attack a boss with multiple ships to take it down...but that's not really an option with the respawn rate as it is

Hey I wanna hear some thoughts 💭 about prime officers. Every free to play player is probably pissed about it as It offer such a power growth but is only open for people who bought rare grade4 pack .To Rafine grade 4 rares you need 45lvl or something. So let’s be honest no one who is free to play will get this prime officers upgrade. In my opinion this suppose to be more free to upgrade as the prime shields and hull were. We have been discussing in our alliance the possibility of having a new feature where we can save crew sets so they can atuomatically be assigned to our ships at the press of a button, rather than to keep manually swapping officers. Another suggestion is to let me archive golden missions. I don't get what the point is of not allowing me to archive them. I want them gone because I can't finish them now. I want to archive them. It's very annoying to have a stupid mission sentence next to the ! and to keep clicking on that stupid GO button — which is not hideable right now — because of a dumb mission I can't archive.

Suggestion/ Idea: I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest this but. <@&509690795536941056> Could we get a spot where we can see for sure what our current protect limits are in our bases? my understanding is that the The Vault Details only show base protected but do not reflect actual protected as you can do research etc to increase the base. TBH honest I don't have the college degree in advanced astrophysics needed to figure out all of the formulas Scopely uses to calculate how much the researches increase the limits. It would be nice to have a menu that says "Here is what your current protected limits are in your base" Period. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Just a thought.

Right now it only matters being in a strong alliance simply to compete against others. I can only remember one time, a biomeneral collection event, that rewarded an alliance for coming together and completing a goal. We need more stuff like that.

If someone wants to pick up 10 4Hr shields (or what ever length shield) there is a WHOLE LOT of button clicking (Scroll scroll scroll, view, wait to load...., purchase, wait to load......, confirm, wait to load..... yea there's a whole 1 shield. Scroll scroll scroll, view, wait to load...., purchase, wait to load......, confirm, wait to load..... yea another 1 shield, etc....) Would be nice to have the option to purchase 1, 3, 10. or 1, 5, 10 or something similar. You have it as options for almost everything else in game. Why not the Alliance Store items?

A total of 60 officer cards vs 20k XP is not an officer XP event

What if we had the option to set policies when mining etc for ship captains to follow.. ie if attacked beam some cargo into space for attacker to take and flee, or drop shields and allow attacker to take anything above protected cargo, or simply attempt to flee if on a zero node etc...
same boat or alternate option when attacking option to attack with no mercy destroy ship which since you blasted the ship to peices you may lose some cargo since your now scouring a debris field for said cargo. Or pirate attack disable shields and weapons and board or beam cargo that exceeds protected limits out, allowing you to take cargo while forcing ship to flee liberated of cargo but not destroyed, again chance of failure that could destroy ship etc...
Would make things more realistic, I mean the goal most of the time is to take cargo or force a miner off a zero node... 300k power warship attacking a 50k miner should be able to take cargo easy destroying it wouldn't be necessary unless commander deems so....

@pastel peak was it only 20K XP for all milestones of the 3 events? That does sound a bit poor... at ops 30 it was 354K per event, and yes also uncommons, recruit tokens and faction credits... now I have 8M XP without any decent officers to spend it on...

My Big Idea (tm)(c)(pat pending)

Introduce a Borg Cube.

The cube would show up in a random system, and wipe everything... players and hostiles.

The cube would exist for 1 hour (or 2 or 3).

The cube would be hittable by all levels of payers. But, it would be so massively powerful that it would take essentially every player on server in order to kill it.

If successful in killing it, each player that took part would get a percentage of reward based on damage done.

If the cube is not killed, no one gets anything.

After the allotted time, the cube would move to a different random system, with full power.

(I understand that Borg may not officially be in the timeline, but Make It So.)

Here's another suggestion scopely should consider. 1025 uncommon ore per gun to upgrade. That's just the guns. Then the cargo bay, another 800, then the shield/armor another 1700. The stupid small amounts if you calculate it, for a single tier upgrade is basically if you have 6000 uncommon ore/crystal/gas needed, it will take you 260 refine cycles which is 130 days at 2 refine cycles per day as each refine cycle is only every 10 hours. Basically 3 and a half months for 1 tier. How is this beneficial to keeping players once they reach level 28 and up? I have spoken to quite a few players and many are considering leaving, in fact its roughly about 3 out of 5 players leaving each time i speak to players that are leaving as the point of the game is a little bit of combat, and growth and leveling, but many leave or just don't bother with the game any long when they start reaching level 28 and upwards as the refine amounts they get are way too low to make a dent in the gigantic amounts required to upgrade one module, never mind the enormous amounts needed to upgrade one entire tier which takes 4 months nearly and that just increases exponentially as well, the next tier above that takes 6 months, then 10 months. Its absolutely ludicrous.

I agree completely, and its not only at the higher lvls, but i 'm sure its done on purpose so you buy everything. You will see then that your ship costs hundreds of euro's. Its all about the money with scopely. You get only tonnes of useless parts, rewards and so on

lol, @umbral wyvern those calculations were based on gettign 23 uncommon refined items per cycle, most of the time ,its 7, 14, 21, 2, or 4.... smaller amounts lengthen and increase the time frames it would take then as well.

agreed though, i believe they do it deliberately and its not hundreds, i've spoken to many who get annoyed and then spend thousands of euros on it. Wasted money on digital items that can be given in game and the game properly rebalanced. But i believe that the STFC game is kept off balance purposefully.

Great that there is more content and missions, but apart from the initial notification there is no way of knowing where the new missions are. How about a third galaxy view. System names; rss; incomplete/not yet started mission location? When I first started I went through every single system to find missions. Would be good to have a toggle so you could see where available missions started. Cheers

The ships screen should have 2 tabs - shipyard( or construction or build) and hangar (or owned). You should be able to look at your own ships with no officer power included anytime without bringing a ship back to the dock and swap out ships.

We need a shuttle ship so we can transport Trit, par, And dili to other alliance members. The shuttle can only transport from within the same system so you would have to relocate bases in the same system. And we need missions where we need to transport Officer from our ships to complete mission, all the while our ship is vulnerable to attack from other alliances. And based on the officers we send will determine if we’re successful or not. I sent this request to Scopely last month and received a very favorable response
