Can I suggest a a new dock type a trading dock available after a certain level halfway between docks 3 and 4. That could be used for inter alliance trading where raw Ore/Crystal/Gas could be exchanged and/or sold/bought for latinum.
At higher levels other trade items for armadas and swarm items could be introduced.
There could also be trading stations open to all players over a certain level
Earn xp from mining. That way mining ships gain xp for what they do. Warships are so slow at mining it wouldn’t really impact them. Say 1 xp per 50 mined rss. Could just be a flat rate for all rss to keep things simple.
Alright, now that we can see what few/mats are in each system, let's add what type of hostile to that feature. 👍🏼

Quick comment/suggestion for Armadas. As an Armada is a group effort, it would be nice if everyone who showed up got a reward, even if it was only worth 2-5% of the total prize. It’s really unfortunate that people show up just to get bumped out by their own team members. A small token given would at least keep the team morale up instead of people just warping away because they aren’t the strongest player in their own alliance; it would go A LONG WAY to keep this part of the game relevant. Just a thought. 😁
I'm looking for a feature request which would make administration of a team a little easier and a lot less time wasting, to be able to see in the alliance screen a new map with a new tab showing where all the team members are situated
Like a lot of players I haven't bothered with the Armada is because it's a waste of time
I don't call getting uncommon refined materials faster than the refinery produces them a waste of time. If you have pleanty sure. but the events give rewards many find compelling. rare armadas, ok, those are a dud due to how hard it is to acquire the directives. but uncommon armadas, we do on average one every two hours or more.

It may or may not help but similar to 'anybody want this mine?' first person calls out gets it .. we've taken to armadas however many slots are available, count those responders who say 'omw' and anybody after that is kindly asked to step aside for the next one. Unless its a big armada (5m or higher) in which case those that would loose the fight are grateful for those that have more powerful ships to step in. It truly forces better communication in the alliance if you are to do it with no hurt feelings. I just about temporarily kicked a couple of my players, they didn't understandd, would get a ding at work, click join, and put the phone back in their pocket. Now we all know to coordinate and communicate.

That being said, I would greatly appreciate the option for those who start the armadas to select who can join, given there are a few that forget to communicate now and again. Even if the creator of the armada goot to choose 'private invite only' vs 'lets see whos the strongest ships that arrive' ...
given armadas generally feed an alliance wide leaderboard, those that don't make it still come, and help kill inbound agressive hostiles (trained fighters vs bounty hunters aka turtles/snails/chasers) and further if more people show up those that are backup can be outside the circle incase someone looses a battle with a hostile on accident or doesn't make it etc ..

Suggestion: Long press on a button brings up a window that lets you type in how many times to repeat the action. Would be useful for alliance donations, buying chests, etc, and would allow elimination of many superfluous buttons.

Can I just install a faulty warp core on my realta and park it at my base where it will breach and destroy any single attacking ship instantly? that would be a fantastic defense. It would keep all those 39's from just cruising around with kvorts and doing smash-and-grab on all the mid 20's.

The option to toggle whether the screen locks on your ship, when hunting hostiles. Currently, the way the screen will lock on you ship, when you hit the attack button, makes it hard to use two ships at once to hunt hostiles in a system; you constantly have to pan away from your ships, back to the targets.

@austere sand here is an idea, put an exchange center on the game to let players from level 26 and above to swap their g2 rss that isn't needed, to get g3 rss that it's all the rss we need from that level and above.

Can we talk about the mats needed for upgrades and the droprates of materials needed? Grinding for days on end and get 10 parts needed for an upgrade. Also refining of G3 materials could be smoother, and produce better results. I’d be more likely to spend a little money here and there if you made it decently playable without trying to force pay to play

It should be irrelevant. Zeroed nodes need to be ejected. We shouldnt have to clear anything. Wasting shields to clear a zero is stupid.
Most of the 35+ players dont care if its a zero or not. You hit them, they hit you.

Throw in obvious manipulation of refinery droprates during armada event... Mine went from roughly 20% common only results pre-armadas to roughly 50% during armadas events.

I'd like to see a symbol on the Galaxy map for systems that have base hubs the same way they added the resources. I hate constantly going into systems that don't have any hubs for bases.
I would like to see a method to trade in the alliance, ship bp and G3, might have a limit, the higher level ship the fewer you should be able to trade
or be able to trade bp into faction credits

Can we have a secondary warp out destination other than home base? I have been finding it useful to be able to warp out of a system at a moments notice, but not back to my base. It would be awesome if I could select a default second warp destination dynamically. Maybe split the current warp button into two buttons, one to home base and the other to a destination of our choice ( default is home base if you don’t select a place )

Please add this information to the battlelogs. Hard to have “proof” someone killed you on a node when the log does’t show node info.
How about an option to set alliances to friendly are hostile so when you on maps your not hitting an alliance you have a nap with they maybe have a different colour or coloured circle around them.

I have lots of spare crew doing nothing, heres an idea could we set station commanders, like a ships crew but just for your base. this could increase base strength and give better accuraccy for defense platforms against pvps

It would be ridiculously helpful to be able to create crew manifests. For example, create one that you use for swarms, one for base defense, one for gas mining, whatever. Then, from the "Assign Officers" tab, you could choose an entire group and configuration (assuming they're not deployed onto other ships not at home). As it stands now, I've got to try and remember what crew I want every time I do something. It would make things a lot less tedious, and generate a lot more interest in crews and leveling them up (which would drive more interest in buying crew packs, etc.). Just seems like a solid win.

Well, I mean, they're working on diplomacy stuff, set ups, stuck banners, helps showing up, officer abilities, flight/arrival timing, broken armadas, hostile spawn (not spawn) rates, server merger, transfer between servers....what are they NOT working on? They gotta be not working on SOMETHING. All we're ever told here is that 'they're working on it'. Which obviously isn't and can't be true.

games dont necessarily die if bugs aren't fixed. there are many games that have been around for years and are still immensel popular despite being noticeably buggy. for multiplayer games content is the key, it has to be kept fresh otherwise some new shiny game will fill that desire for something new to do. It's that need to push new content that tends to have everything else put on the back burner. It also takes longer to develop new stuff than it does to make simple edits or look for bug fixes. it's all about priority and market demad.
For us the consumer we have 2 choices, enjoy what we've got and hope our $'s and feedback lead to improvement, or find something new.

@ocean wadi Yes, $'s speak, if they stop getting them then they have to reasses what they are doing. As long as people buy into the ridiculous marketing though, it's not going to change. Many people have said it many times, their revenue has to drop before major changes will take place. Barring major lawsuit success, that doesn't seem likely to happen so all we can do is enjoy what we've got as best we can. Don't spend if you don't feel it's worthwhile, or spend if you have the means and don't care about the value you recieve. That's all it comes down to.
@muted mortar I'm an admiral of the top alliance on my server, I am not going to pay for outrageously expensive packs that do little to nothing on their own. A number of my folks and others on the server are feeling the same. I'll be going free to play from now on, because my give a F**k about this game is dropping by the day and I'm not going to pay any more to game runners that do not listen to the community nor give a rats rear-end about what we want. Bernie Madoff would have been proud of what they are doing to star trek here. More events boys, the people are catching on!

Event's have been extremely weak for the past month so I find myself increasingly just swapping out miners and going to play other games. Seems that's the sentiment of lots of folks. The game better improve soon or there will be a massive player drop.
Already happening my friend. Already happening. They need to immediately lower the price of packs to make it competitive for lower players and increase the reasources in each pack. As a 34lvl player, nothing I get should ever be G2, and everything requires rares. So you either grind for two years to level up maybe one or two components on your high tier faction ship or pay 3 grand. Eff that.
For low level players reading this, your game is going to get exponentially worse the further up you level. Don't pay the toll.

When timing a ship warp when sending 2 ships, it would be helpful to know when each ship will arrive in-system and not just at the destination. I've noticed that on long warps to Augment space, my miner constantly arrives in-system before the covering ship despite the covering ship arriving at the final destination 10 secs before the miner. Having a toggle to time system warp vs destination warp would be very helpful. I've also noticed this with warping to armadas in hostile systems, my cover ship arrives in-system after the armada ship despite arriving at destination first. Very hard to keep track of hostile fighters when you don't know which ship will arrive first.
When leading an armada, would it be possible to put in a control for the leader to boot players from the armada so no bumps occur?

Coding is hard. Scopely has higher priorities for their 'dev team', like not fixing broken officers that haven't worked for 12+ months.
@fervent cobalt Warp to the edge of the destination system on the side of the system corresponding to your warp path. That way timers reflect system entry and your decoy works as anticipated.
To add on to what @velvet quiver said, ships have different impulse speed. It's best time using the edge with the warship about 10-15 ahead of the surveyor.
@vast halo @glossy topaz I have an idea. Since admirals fight hard to keeps teams together and people playing this rapidly deteriorating game. How about showing them some love. Perhaps a monthly admiral pack or boosted event winnings since they not only have to deal with all these events, game politics and keeping the game going. Top ten alliance admirals on each server get something special? I know it's going to be an absolute no, but hey worth a shot to help us help keep the game going.
@fervent cobalt just warp both ships to the exact same destination it's accurate every time unless you have helvia or domitia on your ship. just remeber to pick the spot from within the system, not the galaxy view.

Having more than one admiral spot for alliances that are managed by a group. For example our alliance has 8 admirals which decides things as a group rather than a dictatorship
Regarding Armadas: I think the idea was there, just expecting people to spend that kind of money on it was a bad move. I probably would have spent money if it was £2 or £3 for a few rare armadas. They should make the directives more obtainable by other means such as pvp and pve, and let you form an Armada for completing missions like hostile captains. I also think there needs to be more ships in an Armada, I mean 5 ships for an alliance of 70 odd players is not great. It would be better if we had to hold the Armada spot for points against rival Armadas; encourage people to pay for boosts and repair speedups not to access the 'feature' if you can call it that in its current state

Here is an idea to consider.
Making central node systems at each level as 'Havens'. These could contain nebulas with properties that can blind sensor readings of faction enemies. The downside is that if any of the ships you put there stay longer than an hour, the shields bar starts dropping gradually. You have to get out of the nebulas in time to save what remains of the shields. You'd get a message stating that your ship has exceeded the limit, prompting to take action against further degradation. Recovering from shield loss in haven nebulas are costly. For that reason they should be used as last resort if you are pursued by faction enemies.
These nodes should only be used in Faction space in Klingon, Romulan and Klingon zones. There is no need for them in Neutral zone.

As an admiral, I'm sometimes unable to kick one of my members. If he is the last joined one, I can't "see" the kick, promote or demote button... even when sorting differently it doesn't give. Can you guys implement a way so that the dialog is fully visible?

Officer presets would be amazing. I’m tired of searching through my officer list every time I crew a ship. Being able to have, say, ten preset crew configurations would be helpful.
Armadas should be extended to include missions. Some missions have targets that are really high in power and impossible to do for a long time. Doing these targets with an armada would be cool and allow us to progress missions.
There also should be more missions showing up over time. Most of the missions I have remaining are impossible to complete.
Hi, it could be useful, at least for those who have little memory like me, to put a button in the ship hangar that allows me to see all my ships at any time, without having to make a switch with a ship repaired in the base
OK. So this is the deal.
How about dropping the permitted time to 5 minutes. At least to avoid those peskies threatening to attack. It would give chance to rejuvenate shields before jumping home to recharge weapons. So rather that the shields depleting, the ionised nebulas boost the recharging of Shields and make them more resistant to kinetic weapons.
Hide in nebulas for a short period when threatened by faction Hostiles. When threat passes, and the shields are at least 10% stronger due to the special properties in the nebulas, yiu can carry on hunting around in any enemy faction, providing you strike aware that there are refuge haven nebulas at the core nodes.
They would be located hopefully in nodes that other systems branch out from. Those are the Core Nodes.
Let me know what you think of that change in the Refuge Cloud idea.

Let me know what you think of the idea. If it's feasible to permit certain types of nebulas can enhance the shields to withstand certain types of weapons. Perhaps have certain colour of clouds that can boost shields against phase torpedoes, and others can boost resistance against kinetic weapons.
But you might have to mine 2 and 3 star gas to complement the nebula abilities.

Alliance controls and notifications: when alliance member joins or leave the alliance, a message appears in chat “captain x has joined forces” and a time stamp.
Admiral should have ability to view more info on alliance members - like rss available, last active, and so on.
This ability could be turned on for different ranks by the admiral.
I got an idea. How about you use down time to fix actual bugs you have had since day 1. Oh I forgot. Down time is for you to take back stuff you gave away for free by mistake. NOT to fix the game. My bad, I was thinking you were a professional competent company.
Could you please just keep the server down till the time you said it would be fixed.. expecting to get back on after an hour and a half and then find I'm attacked 20 mins before that. Could also just pause the countdown on anyones shields. That way no one should loose out when you do short notice shut downs. If they haven't shielded before the maintenance thats their fault.

Really I mean scopely has had bugs for months on end, no announcement for maintenance and now daily rewards as well as refinery is messed up. Is it remotely possible for them to get it together?

#0. Warp confirmation button/warning. You have the same functionality for attack confirmation, when the players shiels is turned on.
#1. Provide access to private alliance by entering its password, so anyone who knows his/her alliance password can enter the alliance at any time.

@nocturne lantern Y’all need to go ahead and protect everyone’s base with a 24 hr shield.
You need to engage automatic multi-hour shields for everyone following an outage, whether you announced or not, but especially when you don't. You keep leaving us all hanging and unprotected when our real life schedule prevents us from working around yours. Other players come on as soon as the outage lifts and raid bases like it's christmas and that is patently unfair to those who can't play this game 24/7.
Is there a federal agency that regulates games? People spend REAL money and Scopely sure is doing everything they can to make sure they lose what they purchase.

Hi. Hope you are doing well where you are. Have you noticed anything glitch in the game? I have. Every time I hit blue ships on asteroids, the insignia badge indicates that there are rewards and usually the same ones but they are not accumulated into the inventory.
I'll have to report that to the bug control department.
@tawny raptor true. But if they're expecting to go on sometime in that down period, pausing everyones shields should allow the people without shields time once the down time is done.

People have work and sleep to do and if you don’t know when it will be back up, how can people be expected to take care of their bases?
@austere sand not everybody can wait when the game will be up again. Some time zones will be time for bed, others time to go to work.
Please put all bases on shield for at least 12 hours.
How about you do these updates later in the day so those of us on the west coast that are still asleep can actually set up a shield??

I'm level 24 and I have a question i was going through all the buildings that can't be built until your a level 50 and wss wondering why? Why don't you start letting players build a different building every level after 20? Most of the players leave the game after they get into there 30s cause there's no point if you can't make advancements till your 50 and with everything costing so much to repair.
I can understand if you don't have the functions in place yet for most of the buildings. But you do have the functions there for the dilithium, parsteel, and tritanium generators.

A peace shield for free after every maintenance for 8 hours
I would like to be able to Scan all ships and bases including my own and those of my alliance members.
The motivation for this is to be able to see what an enemy can see about them.
A secondary motivation is to be able to see how much overload I have.
I would like to be able to cancel a warp and have the ship exit and the next system on its warp path.
I think there should be a loyalty pack out if this

How about a policy where you activate a free four hour shield on all bases at the immediate completion of any maintenance that has had less than one weeks prior notice. Your incompetence as developers shouldn’t be our problem as players.

I think that Scopely should work on the store next. The game is here to make money and for commander to have fun.
There needs to be an in game way of announcing server downtime. Like a splash screen announcing maintenance and time till that will not go away till acknowledged
Hi @austere sand , in the spirit of contributing constructive feedback. Would it help to offer a discussion on development framework that might better suit splitting out future development vs dealing with bug fixes, as well as building automated quality assurance into their dev ops platform? I think I have heard in the past they were using scrum for the application development. Have their been discussions on moving to Kanban for bug fixes? Regarding their current QA process, Would it help to have a discussion on new processes involving automated testing to make sure they aren't creating new bugs while developing new features? I'm sure there are plenty of experienced programmers and consultants who use this game any of whom might be willing to provide useful advice...

My peace shield is undoubtedly expired by now and if not it will be soon. When updates occur, recommend announcements occur like armada starts and 10 min shield warnings. Also, the game status should freeze, all bases auto shield until 6 hours after system is back up. A small reward for all players for their patience too.
Whenever they do unscheduled maintenance there should be an auto shield till a player logs back on... I know what the response is going to be when I log back on and I'm drained and I ask for refunded rss... but it's not my fault, and its theft by scopely of my purchased goods

Wasted res on kumari to get it stuck at T7, lost loads of resources due to shields disappearing during regular maintenance, paid for 3 packs to get a bortas only to see they bumped up the packs 2 days after so it only takes 2, now this crap with 6h downtime cheating me out of my regular refines and their apology is chicken feed.
Spent thousands on this game to get an edge and support the devs and the thanks I get is the run around by some 3rd party outsourced pr firm who handle support by giving no real response or resolution except "we've let our team know and they're working on it"

This way those of us managing independent servers can “follow” that channel, and then can create hooks to our announcement channel to automatically have STFC official announcements posted in our servers. It is a simple fix, the code you currently have does not even check to see if the player has the requisite resources. You should easily compare this broken code against any of the similar missions that you show players completing!
All they needed to do was recall all ships and extend shields 24-hours (or apply a free 24-hour shield if you had none).

here's an idea to throw at the devs @austere sand like some banks have the option to do banking via text, how about linking the phone number or email associated with the game account to extend or activate shields via a command message server that is only activated during maintenance times, or leave it on so if we're in a meeting and we know our shield is about to expire we send a simple a text, "use Xhr shield" and bam base is reshielded.

I’m beyond pissed that your 1.5 last second maintenance schedule lasted 8 hours, expiring my shields and letting others destroy my base and steal resources. A lot of great ideas have been mentioned above, but if you don’t replace my stolen resources I’m done with this crap.

the narada come back from their journey through the black hole (as playable miner with advantage against faction ships)
The USS Kelvin (also as playable faction-ship) has an advantage against the narada...
The narada can mine a new resource, the red matter, what can be refined in normal, uncommon and rare fragments... those fragments are necessary to upgrade the USS Kelvin (or the USS Kelvin could be made in same style like USS Franklin)...
My suggestion: one part of the storyline for the new missions should begin in one of the little systems in faction space where the narada appears... Captain Nero ask the player for helping him to repair his ship and send him through some missions to collect different parts... after collecting all parts the ship can be available by researching or the blueprints can be collected by the missions...
The other part begin as help request from the Federation after they find out that the narada is back again... there need also to be some missions made to collect the blueprints for the USS Kelvin, which is capable to destroy the narada

Idea: We don't buy anything for November to reciprocate the lack of love and respect from scopely. Perhaps a slow 4th Quarter will kick them in the anus and maybe real and beneficial fixes will get put in place.
Let’s be constructive folks. I think whenever scopely performs maintenance they just activate shields on all our bases. They should remain up for the day. That way anyone that couldn’t log in to maintain their shields aren’t punished. We all have real lives and sleep.

When I installed it, I didn't quite realize it was pvp. And the first 15 levels were great.
I realize you'd have to put effort into new quests. And either tone down the aggressive resource requirements.... or provide NPC bases to raid... like Armadas. But it could totally work.
Then your casual players won't abandon the game so fast when a week's worth of resources get wiped clean over night, and leave really bad App Store reviews. And perhaps less antagonizing other players.

In regards to compensation to players when there is an error: It would be better served if you have out Loyalty Badges rather than the package that was put together. If you were to give out 7-60 loyalty badges it would enable players to a greater extent and offer real value to them.

Group warping should be a thing, this way the whole "armada" arrives as a group while raiding hives and wont be individually picked off and we wont have to consistently time our warps

Just a thought but it would be great when it comes to mining that the only thing that can attack a mining ship is only a mining ship when it comes to PvP, as being attacked by a jellyfish that is 3-5 times higher in firepower whilst it’s at the same level (lvl 14) is overkill in my opinion.
Currently independent space is turning into a desert... why not add bandits into these system? The lower the system number, the higher the bandit? And only triggered when a user has selected a faction to follow.
The ability to donate excess resources and ship parts to alliance members would be good. Then those higher up the tree could really help those just starting out
I may have an idea for an upgrade, to be able to see the possibe missions. It is possible to see the objectives of your current missions but not where another mission is. 👍✌️

Make a way for excess ship bp’s to be useful. I don’t feel like building 100 forts but have the bp’s to do so. Converting them to something useful like ship xp or something would be nice.

Example: I'm refining 2 batches of ore. In the first batch I get common. Then the second batch will contain only uncommon or rare refined ore.
This will prevent the frustrating situations when somebody refines 75k of minerals (3 batches) and all he/she gets is a meager amount of common. Put at least a few uncommons in the output of those batches.

but the requirements for ships at my level is also crazy high

What is ruining these servers is the fact that some players level their bases and ships so rapidly that they can't be killed. (Officers too...)
You guys also have to look at sustainability. This is a great game, but you should offer options for people other than the monthly packs either exclusively f2p servers or subscription servers. You could do the pay to play server option too...
Consider people of different income levels is all I am saying.
You would probably have better activity and fewer legal issues if everything was achieved by gameplay. I know you guys won't like to hear that.

You guys would make more, in the long run (do the calculation as I have). You run a game, you give 3 options, for people of different income levels. You have expanded your market by a factor of over 3.

@austere sand I still think a “RetroFit” feature for older ships should be considered. One where you have to mine G2 and G3 rss. To advance them from 2star to Retrofitted 3star ships with new and advanced weapons, shields, cloaks, abilities against certain factions or events etc...
The ability to 'transport' crew between ships should be introduced, This is a central concept of Star Trek! It could be that rss are used to pay for each transport but I think it would be an interesting and useful addition.
Since swarms are geared toward leveling the Franklin it would be useful if they dropped explorer parts instead of interceptor parts.

One and two hour shield we should be able to buy in alliance store.
I would like to see a change to the shield mechanics, where shields cannot be brought online for a minimum of two hours after an aggressive act. This is for the griefers who pop mining ships then drop a shield to prevent any retaliatory attacks. We need to be able to respond.
@magic matrix the market is not open to anyone. It's not even in the game yet, that's why it says level 50.
@past torrent the only requirement should be that both ships be in the same system. Along with this you should be able to change which crew is on the bridge from among any of the crew on the ship or any ship in the same system.

I am thinking like ship and faction specific wallpapers at the proper resolutions... That would be awesome. There is a surprising lack of good star trek wallpapers out there....

One should not have to dock to switch captains if the officer is on the same ship. You should be able to transfer the helm for example when a mining node flips you should be able to Change the captain to take advantage of the bonus if they are on the same deployed ship..

Would be great to have a button to safe a crew setting. Like this u don’t have to change every member and can save different crew combinations. Much more easier. Normally u use same crews for the ships like hostile hunting or base raid, etc.

warp times should be tweaked for low/mid lvl payers the timings are still awful 15 - 30 mins moving from one place to another is boring as and even worse if you sent the wrong ship lol

Hi, right now armadas prioritize the armada leader and then the highest power ships that joined it It sounds good on paper but it makes it dificult for smaller players to participate It would be nice if it was possible for an alliance leader to pick a different behaviour for all armadas in the allince So like if you could switch it to "prioritize smallest possible ships that will be able to defeat the armada" Or if that's too hard to calculate then make a textbox there where you could put a percentage of minimum power So let's say you put 50%, the armada building is at lvl 30 so it can have 5 slots and it has a damage bonus of 60% and the armada has 7m power From my experience you need about 2m power to kill it So i'd assume that with no damage bonus you'd need half the power, hence the 50% but allowing people to tweak it would help as then no one will bug you about doing so your self So, the formula could be like so Armada's power * the percentile in the textbox / (1+damage bonus)
So, 7m*0.5/(1+0.6) ~ 2.2m Which is about what we usually do those with So, then the game would try 5 highest ships and see what power they get Let's say 1 is 700k, 1 is 600k, 2 are 500k, 1 is 400k and 1 is 200k So the first 5 you end up with 2.7m which is more than the upper thingy But if you remove the 700k one and add 200k one it still get's the required 2.2m and so this is what the game goes with But let's say that the 600k one is 590k one So you'd end up with 2.19m And so the game goes with the 700k one instead I get A LOT of people complaining about not being able to get into 2m armadas even tho there are ships that end up having 2.2m combined So, less work for me trying to enforce arbitrary rules and lower lvl players get a chance to enjoy armadas as well, they don't quit your game and buy armada packs instead and everyone is happy

@gloomy bay a little coordination on the part of your alliance goes a long way. also raw ship power isn't always the best indicator of actual combat strength, officers and the type of ship make a much bigger difference.
Yes, they do but you can tweak the number from 50% to 60% or w/e as needed, more tools is always better even if not everyone decides to use them

Let's say there is an empty slot, so you join the armada even tho your ship has ways more power than needed
And then you need to go afk and someone with less power comes along
I can tell people all i want to leave armadas they shouldn't be in when someone with less power asks them but it if they are not there to respond then it's pointless
And even if they are not afk, there is no way to prove it
And yes, you could tell people not to join armadas when their ship is too powerful at all but then it will happen that people will be unable to do armadas because there isn't enough lower lvl players online

it's worked out fine in two alliances i've worked with, the leader just calls out who gets to join, if someone wants to bow out after that to let someone in that's up to them but no one gets bumped by higher power players.
most of the time we organize it so everyone, even the lowest levels in the group, get a chance to participate.
yeah the game mechanic is far too open so we have to deal with it ouselves. we had to do the same thing with mining by creating Rules of Engagement due to rampant miner griefing by higher level players..
the devs leave things incomplete or make stupid decisions so players have to fill in the gaps with gameplay diplomacy.
No harm in trying to get them to improve it tho 😛

Well, the problem is that people may just not pick the lower lvls to join it in which case they don't break the rules

@muted mortar my point is, if you give people a self destruct button, someone will press it, if you let the admirals decide it for everyone then it's usually for the better as in most top alliances they will know what they are doing
And there will be someone who will have some grudge with someone within his alliance and he'll always exclude that person if you give him the tools to do so

The problem with that is that there will always be someone who will do stupid stuff and by restricting it to admirals you limit that number, if an admiral will do stupid stuff people will just find a new alliance

As in if you set it to 50% then it will aim to have the power of the ships participating in the armada after the building bonuses to be as close to but equal or above 50% of the armada's power
So as in the example - 7m armada with 5 slots and bonus at 60% if you set it to 50% it'll aim to have the power at or slightly above 2.2m
5m armada - 1.56m
Etc
Simple to use, gives freedom to every alliance on how to deal with it and it'd fix the problem with no room for mistakes
and what do you do if 10 ships shows up to a 4-slots armada? it doesn't really solve anything 😛
armadas work quite well in our alliance, someone starts it, the first 3 or 4 to ask to be in gets in and that's it, of course at the discretion of the armada leader, if he wants certain ship power in etc.
Adding to the sort officers list by Attack, Defense and Health would be very helpful.

Just a thought. Have a bank that let you store rss for a specific function. For example, you want to tier up sally. It gives you a list of upgradeable ships and you select Saladin. It calculates all rss and materials needed to upgrade to next tier. You deposit as much as you can but you can’t get them back until all rss and material requirements are met for that upgrade. In exchange for this hardship, you earn a small interest. This varies according to rarity of the material, from .1% for parsteel to 20% for rare crystals for example. Pros: even when emptied by raid, those materials are safe, you get interest on materials donated. Cons: you can’t use them until all resources and material requirements are met, you can’t upgrade Saladin 1 upgrade at a time.
Idea/suggestion: be able to share battle reports with users to help better understand the game dynamics.
Suggestion: what about a confirmation message after you push (usually by mistake) the latinum repair button to fix a ship? Adding a step might avoid a waste of latinum

In the example I gave before if you set it to 50%, armada has 5 slots, bonus is at 60% and the armada has 7m power the selected power lvl would equal 2.2m
So if we have 10 people with power like so:
1 - 900k
2 - 800k
3-700k
4-600k
5-500k
6-400k
7-300k
8-250k
9-200k
10-150k
It will check how much power 1-5 have which is 3.5m so more than 2.2m so then it will check 2-6 which is 3m, then 3-7 which is 2.5m, then 4-8 which is 2.05m which is less than 2.2m so it'll go with 3-7 as this is the lowest power set that will pass the 2.2m mark

Yes, someone will always be kicked out but this way people that should be kicked out will be, and yes, you can do 1, 2, 8, 9, 10 and get closer but then people in the middle will often get left out, doing it this way is easier and more fair as you will have to be at a power that's appropriate to the armada's power and not literally either too big or too small @vocal sandal
And it requires less processing power than if you were to calculate every possible variation of the 10
And yes, it's not a lot but with the number of people playing it can stack up

And "the first people who joined" is not a real solution as then you'll end up not being able to kill the thing because players with too low power joined it first

After some armadas people will get the gist of it, but they could also just do a "average power allowed - X" where x in the example above would be 2.2m/5 so 440k
But as it is people usually just send the ship anyway and see if they get in

Regarding the exchange market function in the station which only going to enable at level 50 isn't a little too much? when the highest the players can go up is level 39 atm.
My suggestion is if Scopely can enable this market function in level 39, this will be a push for many players to go up to 39, hence it would be fun to exchange things within the alliance, and will benefit to alliance, players and scopely.
I for one will go up to level 39 to exchange my extra Horizons with my alliance members for some rare, uncommon G3 materials 🤣

Would it be possible to have the option to get more than 1 peace shield at a time from the Alliance Store? If I want to stock up on 4hr shields, it gets a little time consuming have to click through all the screens for each shield. There's the ability in coding to use more that speed up at a time (with the sliding bar thingy). Maybe have something similar in the Alliance Store so we can use Alliance Credits to pick up multiple 4HR or whatever length shields at a time? Having 1 hr shields avail in the store would be nice too. Just another idea. 🙂

Why wasn’t “Fix current and known bugs” on the list of options for things we want in the survey? I’d rather those annoying bugs be fixed first before adding new content that will have even more bugs.
The biggest complaint fluffy has about STFC is how unreliable it is to be able to obtain uncommon materials. It’s already a long time to get the refinery to take 3 batches of G3 and the drop rates are abysmal compared to the amount of time that is spent mining the materials.
Need more nodes to mine of all kinds and need to be able to change servers if wanted to..

Level 14’s should restricted from 3* systems regardless of the warp range of their ships. If they want to mine 3* they need to level up. I saw a lvl 14 mining in a lvl 33 system this morning. With availability already limited, this is just totally unfair for those of us who have put in the effort to reach these systems.

My survey didn't mention anything about officer badges and that is something I wanted to speak about. The drop rate from the chest is low to the point of non existence. Badges need to be added to event rewards or the drop rates need to be treaked. It's a major problem.
How about adding peace shielding to miners? I'm sick and tired of attacks on miners afetr mining 3,4 resource, or better yet after going to sleep mining and waking up destroyed. It is really not in Trek spirit at all.
The mining shield is an awesome idea but has to be expensive and rare maybe an hour easy but 6 hr max. And armada style team battle for a base target.
More relocation tokens would be nice on per day is a pain 2 or 4 would be nicer
Any chance that Kehra gets an early buff? I tried to play without NS, to see if the game is somewhat balanced without NS and it’s clearly not. Being level 20 and having done research primes of Hull and Shield, I tried to get some lvl 18 stations with Kehra, and it’s near impossible. Looking at the battle log, the problem is that barely lasts any rounds. Which is funny, because Kehra against a lvl 23 armadas (500k) lasts longer than against a 130-150k station.
It’s an important issue, as raiding is an important feature of this game, and it seems you’re almost saying you can only raid if you pay real life money
And then to protect your base from high level attackers that can easily crack it like hot knife to a butter, you must be online all the time to constantly shield during weeks.

Seriously the daily grind is a grind - travel to 33 system 9 mins try and take out lvl 33 hostiles - only 32 or 34 - kill 32 to get 33's approx 3 32 for one new 33 = 5 - 6 lvl 33 per trip x 5 almost 1 hr - mine shit load of rss for 2 - 4 hrs - hit swarms need 2 trips to kill lvl 28 if I am lucky x 20 another 2 hrs kills another 30 swarm 40 mins should rename it to all day events work 8 hrs a day spend time with family, how are we supposed to do all this shite, improve warp times, better spawn rates based on the system make the game enjoyable to play not a bloody job in itself, don't me started on armadas what a complete waste of time, more missions with new story lines, and get rid of the donate millions of rss to get 100k of pars why would you do that.....
The donating 4mil in dilithium was a joke that mission made no sense at all. Glad I didn't bother lol
When selecting an officer to view stats before assigning to a ship please make where you can tap again and deselect. Right now you have to assign to ship then remove.

Would love to see increased warp speed by sacrificing 95% shields with no regeneration till out of warp for power allocation like in the show.

A stealth that is visible to all for keeping faction hostiles that hunt you from stalking. Ridiculously reduced movement speed to 10% impulse. No effect against pvp though. That would be great for needing a AFK or waiting in Armadas.
@tawdry patio I totally agree with you, was it Picard that said"the aquisition of wealth no longer drives the human race" Why not improve the game fairly without asking money and just go donations' based? Would be alot more Star Trek. If they continue this hunt for money they would lose alot more than they gain. I recommend reviewing it in Google, Play based on this

The only money part of the game that I had a major issue with was with the Armada directives. The rest was just choice to reduce grind.

My wish list: 1) Ability to recall ship even while in warp. (Dispatch and instantly realize the wrong crew is assigned, turning a 6 minute trip into an 18+ minute ordeal) 2) Savable bridge crew assignments. (Swapping to my Envoy, saved bridge crew can be assigned by selecting.
My suggestion would be to make items available in the store for $20 and under. Why screw those of us willing to pay $20 for items but are not willing to pay $50 & up. It's like you don't care for anyone not willing to pay the higher prices.
Please please increase the spawn rate on the normal armadas. It is not fun spending so much gaming time searching for one only to find nothing.

How about moving away from the damn new star trek timeline and get to the original timeline and bring in Delta quadrant with voyager and the associated species. Bring in th borg. Bring in gamma quadrant and the dominion, and cardassians. The new star trek is not bad but the older stuff is better and has WAY MORE available story lines and mission capabilities. You have played out this new star trek to it's interesting and fun limit, it is becoming stupid.

<@&509690795536941056> <@&509691611903426561> <@&509691205798592532> could you add a refine option, so players can refine old no longer used grade 2 materials to grade 3 and apply that to standard materials and uncommon separately, so for example I refine 100 uncommon grade 2 crystals and get 10-25 uncommon grade 3 crystals in return. Just makes it so that materials aren't useless after a certain level especially for those that buy parts that have grade 2 materials that'll never be used
And uncommon can be refined to rare materials

I would have a proposal to modify the game designed to improve the management of hostilities regarding mines: miners in extraction could be protected from attacks for a time to be defined, as happens for the shield of the bases. At the end of the draw, the miner automatically leaves the empty mine. The available extraction time may depend on the grade or level. With these interventions I believe we would get a higher turnover of mines and fewer attacks to challenge and demonstrate. Moreover, in the specific case of miners, this would also solve the inequality between ships of similar grade but very different power. What do you think?

A blueprint-shop where we can sell our blueprints and buy others. Selling 1* blueprint = 1 Bp-shop token; 2* blueprint = 2 bp-shop tokens; 3* blueprint = 3 bp-shop tokens.
The buy-prizes would be like sell Prince x10 or higher... buying faction ship-blueprints maybe sell-price x50 or higher

Make armadas easier to defend against bullies - apply the ACC damage bonus to any ships in the armada circle when fighting off other players too.
Make the alliance announcement box more flexible. It's annoying as you have to type it from the beginning everytime. We use it to make notes on friendly alliances, NAPS etc. Info can easily get lost which doesn't help the alliance.
I think a game feature where the armada leader could select the players that he wants to join would be extremely beneficial. An invite and ready button will do
Why weren’t the ships warp range extended in proportion to the upgraded strength? It’s easier to kill hostiles on missions, but the next follow up mission has a warp range beyond ridiculous to complete.

@austere sand @vast halo Battle visuals and mechanics need fixed. 1. When targeting an enemy and selecting attack, it is annoying as hell to be snapped back to where my ship is. I want to keep my eyes on the target rather than having to recenter. Doing this hundreds of times a day when farming rep is stupidly annoying. 2. The attack visuals make the ships do wild swings and arcs and it is very hard to attack or select an enemy in motion. No one likes these, let's get rid of them. 3. when repairing. If any repair gets to the point where it is under five minutes, get rid of that last button/step to repair. We all want the free repair just make it automatic. 4. mid-warp recall. EVERYONE has been demanding this since the start of the game. Good lord how much longer?

don't spam multiple channels with the same question. it will be done when their stuff is set up to do it. they are working on it, but until they can get it to work w/o breaking literally everything, we'll know.

here let me give you a touch of everyday life on server 14 with cancel warp:
Griefer swings into system and starts smashing every miner he sees...you warp away just before he can hit you...you wait a few seconds till he's done and leaves...you hit cancel warp and BAM right back to mining!
What is bad with that?
Griefer sees this tactic used once and uses it every single time, clearing multiple miners over and over again.
we've got players who basically do that now, they just warp to the next system, wait 1-3 minutes, then come right back and kill all the new and returning miners.
alliance is at war...enemy 30+ ship targets your ship hunting hostiles for dailies...you warp away before he can hit you...he warps away frustrated he missed...you cancel warp and g right back to hunting...he sees that and cancels warp too and goes right back to killing you.
@austere sand I have a suggestion, the BONUS REFINERY, instead of having it once a month for 1 1/2 days. Instead have the bonus for EACH DAY, of the week, and only applicable to ONE resource ( crystal / ore / gas) for that day. The other 2 non bonus resources chosen, are refined in the normal refiner. Then the next day, the resource swops to one of the remaining 2, and so on. Then the bonus happens on a constant basis and so does the normal refinery, but allows players to choose which bonus resource they want to refine.
@distant wave the refinery is the primary driver of sales for the company, it will never get reasonably improved. the only reason we ever get that bonus refinery is so that we will keep playing during events that they know the players hate (mining). It's not a gift, it's a ploy to keep us online and spending.
they have to maintain activity metrics for the guys who make all the decisions but don't do any of the actual work.

Here's an idea from lazy old me..... The ability to queue the hostiles your ship goes for (perhaps next 5 targets). If someone kills your target before you get to it it goes off your queue.
That way you can set your ship to work for 2-5 minutes at a time and it makes it easier to keep all of your combat ships busy during grinding

There should be some extra options for the Armada leader. A “Start” or “Accelerate Timer” button once the Armada number is reached. Sometimes 15 minutes leaves too much extra waiting.
Think they expected a lot more PvP around armadas than actually happens. That’s why the timer is so long - so people can attack you. But it rarely happens. Best way to ruin an armada is wait for a team to heavily damage,but not kill, one, then start it yourself before they get a chance to restart it
If scopely can implement a system that gives rewards for attacking armadas and defending armadas that would help incentivise armadas. The cost of armadas are a bit too high, makes it hard to get people to want tok do much.
Why do you lose the tokens for armadas if u dont do armada? Should get tokens back if armada is canceled or if armada leader gets killed by other player. And fix the uncommon pack to have uncommons...
There should be a store where we can trade in BP's for ships that we don't want for RSS or for BP'sfor ships we do want. I have so many BP's for Tallas & Fortuna's, and other 1* & 2* ships that I don't need to build. It would be nice to unload all of that & get what I need.

The join alliance screen should allow you to check a box that hides private alliances, and should allow you access to view a longer list if not all of them, or "roll dice" to bring up a new random list or something.
@smoky marsh You do get ship xp when the base has health to deplete. The health takes a while before it starts to regenerate on it's own so you can't just repeatedly hit it anymore. Go out and hit some hostiles, or find bases that haven't been cracked.
If you want us to do the surveys, please don't put them as a popup when we log in. most of the time when we log in it's to replace a shield or refresh a mine, sidelining to take a 5-10 minute survey means smashed miners and bases. why not put the survey as a link in the news feed on our stations? that's what it's there for right? and people DO check that.
I'm going to go with .. they need a single survey for a player. giving them a link to follow means they might fill it out multiple times.

@silver grotto it is not for the battleships, those are always leveled by hitting hostile. But a horizon (mining ship) should gain experience by mining not by hitting hostile
they should, but all ships get xp from combat, that's just how it works. and to be fair, miners get into combat A LOT, base raiding is often the least combat a miner sees in a day.
Orion, you asked about hitting bases though. That was what I was referring to. You can gain xp mining in hostile faction space (and augment space) by letting them hit you.

@austere sand please tell scopely that anyone in the area of 33 or above are now not going to buy the 32/36 level ships at the current ridiculous pack and upgrade costs, knowing that the ISS jellyish is out there. They are all levelling their bases. Make the interim ship packs way cheaper and drop the upgrade costs by a factor of 10, because scopely has in-effect made these ships absolutely worthless against the ISS F*ckEverythingInSight. I'm 35 and heading straight to 39 before I waste any more money/resources or time on worthless greedily expensive ships.

We are going to need a combat queue system for base raiding. so many people attack at once that everyones attacks start getting rejected and no one gets any loot.
1mill ships can crack a 2-3 mill base with no ships, yes it doesn’t seem fair that you can’t raid as easy but it’s a progression game, work harder get bigger, problem solved, there is other issues out there that need resolved more than base raiding, this move from scopely was a move in the right direction, people need to understand the story line that scopely has just released which explains the huge difference in the power for the iss jelly fish, what could be done is make it hard to get plans, or allow all players of all levels to be all in same chance of getting it, other than that people need to stop moaning about it

Your POPUP message system ruins the game, when fighting hostiles it means you can't open the chat window or check daily goals until the pop ups have finished, and they don't even tell you valuable information in the grand scheme of things, example yes I know I just killed the hostile, I'm playing the game ffs

One suggestion related to available missions for a player on his current level: At Gakaxy level, the white circle surrounding each system could turn to yellow wherever there is an available mission for a player at his current level. This would avoid us having to explore lots of systems in order to find available missions.
@austere sand Do what ever it takes to put the faction events into a normal rotation. For those of us that are not spending all the time, there needs to be more options in getting faction credits. I'm a 26 and the best I can do is 1 sal bp a day...that is a bit silly in my opinion and those events, way back when, were awesome! If that isnt possible, make more faction missions for mid range players. Or at least make it to where you could repeat or something...there has to be a better way.
Also the drop rate for the top bp is at almost zero...out of 500 chest for 31+ fed boxes...I got zero sal bp...
T1 faction ship bps should drop from hostiles too. No reason not to since they're in the faction store now.

D3 was a good bridge to 28 for me though
at 30+ levels there is a huge need to increase the max storage for the rss processors 112k for a lvl 31 par process is way too low. each processor at lvl 31 should be capable of holding upto 1mil par same goes for the others trit should hold at least 500k and dil should hold at least 100k each
it would add bac in value for base raiding right now since the changes raiding bases is not worth the bother most of the time
for example the processors should take 24hrs to reach 1mil par, 500k trit and 100k dil at lvl 31

There's ONLY one officer with a vs-Klingon skill. However, there's way more officers with vs-Federation or vs-Romulan skills. The game needs more vs-Klingon skill officers

How about the sectors with no resources and no place to move your base seems like a waste .....like 2* materials on my server. After speaking with some friends and family, I've come up with an idea that people would like.
Each alliance should be able to build an alliance station.
- since it's for the entire alliance there should be at least 6 docking sausers and the ability to dock 5 ship's per ring.
- player's would be able to sell older and useless ship's for either latinum or RSS.
- the station will grow with the power of it's alliance and donations made to the build.
- any player in that alliance should be able to access the station.
- it could be attacked like it was any other Armada bases currently in use.
- it could be defended by all ship's currently docked.
- each player is allowed to have only two ship's at the station at the same time.
- if a player has sold their ship, then the entire crew has to be transported back to the home station before they can be reassigned.
- transportation could be via the second ship that they have at the station, .
Or transported back via animation of a shuttle, or by hitching a ride with another player. - if they need to be transported then appropriate payment should be payed to the station bank.
- a transporter could only be used if the home base is in the same system as the alliance Base.
- only the admiral has the ability to move the station and it must be signed off by the top two officer's directly below them.
- scopely would get a 1% RSS for every transaction made in station. Call it a ferengi tax.
There is more but this is getting a little long and I'm getting a little fuzzy.

The uncommon armada pack in the alliance store is so disappointing and discourage doing uc armadas. Is this a joke?
A couple of suggestions;
- there needs to be a corbomite device for each player to install on one mining ship. If another player attacks the miner while mining, it blows up both players. This would help stop bad players who are clearing systems. Scopely has done nothing to address this long-time problem. Please help fix it.
- the high amounts of uncommon 3g, 3o, and 3c mean players can choose to upgrade their base or ships, but not both. We need more uncommon amounts. An example is my Saladin that requires 1800 3c for one impulse engine upgrade or my Bortas that requires 800 of 3ore.
- a station crew to man the guns on a station during an attack, similar to ships. This would give bonuses to bases that are attacked.

How about opening the Market to everyone so RSS (anything in inventory) can be traded among alliance members. That would give a lot of f2p players an incentive to keep playing.
This will probably get lost in the shuffle here, but the game is approaching 1 year anniversary of public launch, many of us have played since the beginning. It would be so great if on the anniversary of a player's creation, they received a loyalty chest, like a really good one with spectacular rewards. They say they want to make a game we'll want to play for years, and now we've played for a whole year, let's celebrate that!

Decommission ships idea... allow us to tear down old ships for parts to use in bigger ships later. some have multiples of the same ship. so this would help expedite those upgrade faster as long as there is more than one of the same ship

it seems to me there is a "duplicate" system in Romulan space that maybe we could put a suggestion out there to be converted to a lower level (35 down to 33).

Continuing the previous posted thoughts some things that were left out or forgotten.
I left out purchasable Orion slave girls that would come with buff's and curses.
It reads up to two ship's per.
It doesn't mean that you have to have two ship's docked only that you can.
And when I said at least 6docking rings and I meant up to 8 depending on alliance strength and power.
But the docking Ring's and station power has to be built by alliance RSS from the donated RSS to the alliance vault. One ring at a time.
The more RSS the bigger the station ergo the bigger the alliance RSS the quicker the building.
So station strength depends on alliance support.
And each docking ring can only dock a maximum of 5 ship's per.
So the very maximum amount of ship's docked at a maxed out station would be 8 Ring's with 5 ship's per ring..
And strength of the station would be the same as any other station.
The better the ship's docked increases and decreases depending on the strength of the ship's docked.
And of course crew's assigned to the station and the stations in house fortifications.
Each alliance member can assign up to 10 Crew per player Maximum to the station.
Regardless of how many ship's they have docked.
In other words you can assign crewmen to the station that would not effect the crew's assigned to the ship's.
Suggestion:
How about adding a function that adds differentiated color identifiers (similar to common color within your own Alliance) when Admirals/officers designate Alliances as naps/allies. This will alleviate mistakes when farming rss from miners & head off dust ups. Currently, it's difficult to keep up with changing politics esp with similar identifiers, eg, [CFS] vs [CFP]. Time consuming having to go b/t Discord & game when making dailies.
This will allow Admirals to keep their alliance members up to date in real time without having to constantly dm everyone daily or weekly.

We need more g3 mines and more action on the galaxy, now that bases are harder, and to make this more funny, setting rallies to a base would be a good idea, something like armadas but with a base, i mean 4/5 players attacking a base, and 5 mins for example for starting the attack.
The attacked player could also be defended by his alliance. The numbers of players who can take part depended on the level of a building make for attack/defend
Multiple Bases & Base Conquest
-Allow for multiple bases (at least 2 at level 20~23)
-Allow for Base Conquest: take possession of someone's base, specially if inactive, after an epic battle.
-Allow resource transfer between bases
Making a second base will require that base to be upgraded from scratch (level 0). A resource drain. But will allow for faster resource drain in PvP.
Taking ownership of an existing base, there's upgrades from level 0. Buildings stay at the level the prior owner had them. However, it will require a lot of work and PvP. Perhaps an alliance effort?
Every server has tons of bases from inactive players
Allowing for Base ownership battles is a smart way to transfer the server maintenance from SCOPELY to the players 😉. It will be the players the ones looking for unused bases and recycling them. SMART!
OBVIOUSLY, the more active the player, the harder to take possession of a base
Resource transfer will help the player move resources between bases...with the PvP risk factor 😉
Double Bases: double the reward, double the trouble
Multiple bases will deplete resources and speedups super quick, so there's a need for countermeasures. Perhaps doubling the dailies rewards and so forth.
HOWEVER, by allowing multiple bases, it effectively increases the lifetime of the game without much modifications. Players will be encouraged to make more ships, mine more, PvP & PvE more in one account. Increases the play time exponentially with one simple change

Yea but you can't get any more unless you do the Armadas which unless you have a strong enough ship you can't do.
Suggestion: for the swarm events on sundays, could the top prize each event (regular and heroic) include a few frequency generators? It doesnt have to be much, 1,000 in the regular event and 10,000 in heroic. That would really make a difference for those grinding it out without impacting the purchase of pack for those wanting a more instant fix. That little carrot would make me chase it harder!

For the love of all that is holy REMOVE THE LEADERS NAME FROM ARMADA DISPLAYS. It's pure grief, lower level players can't run armadas at all because griefers can see easy target and just swoop in at the final seconds and kill the leader. boom, game over and everyone is pissed. This is one of the many reasons we hate Armadas. Fix it!

@rugged meadow the rewards suck, we all agree on that. Technically they are scaled by level, ACC level determines number of participants and more participants are needed for higher level armadas. TBH having it max at 6 is about right. considering most of the time players bring extra ships for defense, having too many more participants would lag the game to the point of unplayable if another alliance swept in to kill all those extra ships. We've seen this exact thing happen on our server many times and it's not fun. Everyone gets frustrated that their ships wont attack the guys headed straight for the leader and the only viable tactic for the leader is to run until his teammates clear a path back to the circle. It's an absolutely terrible mechanic that only the greifers like.
which is why we need bigger fleets at higher levels to counter greifers, the leader should be allowed to appoint commanders within his/her fleet so if the leader is popped one of the commanders becomes new leader
as you would during any war situation if the squadron leader is killed in action his/her next in line takes that role

A lot of bases is getting picked on by larger players I think star trak command should limit the level of lower players that can be hit by only two levels below on bases because of the changes in base stats
if you are active at all you get 8h + 4h through dailies and enough alliance credits to more than buy another 8 and a 4 or 3 4's .. to keep shielded. I've been doing that for the most part for a while now
But with the base change I’m 24 and get attacked by level 28 players that’s 4 level higher why is he not attacking players his own level because it’s to hard for him to me that’s not fare
@fallen bronze they reduced the range of pvp levels a few months ago, it made it a lot harder for mid levels to raid. Now they increased base strength which again makes it harder for mid levels to raid. The result is that everyone has no choice but to hit the lowest level targets in their range. Be thankful it's only level 28 players hitting you, it could be 36's one shotting you with surveys and walking away with your entire inventory in one shot.
It's absolutely not fair, but nothing in this game has ever been fair. It's a griefers paradise and virtually everything Scopely does reinforces that.
People complained so much about getting raided that Scopely hardened bases.
** SUGGESTION : ** The possibility to lock your ship, so you don't jump accidently. Exemple, you are mining a node. A long/hold PRESS on the ship icon would lock/unlock it. This way, you don't accidently recall the ship you just put on a node.

Suggestion: lets have a way to clear our "debt" with factions.. maybe some sort of mission sequence or event to drastically help out with factions we are in the red with.
I wonder if one were to take all the missions and cluster them per faction what the tally would be in terms of rep points per faction. aka do all fed missions, get +x fed points, -y rom points -z klingon points, etc
if we can get some sort of way to be able to see activity in alliance so that we can better manage the alliance. That would be great...
feel free to record the roster and then check back a week or a month later. power gains are active players. 0 power gains are inactive players.
Can something be done with refinery would be nice to get some rares out of all we put in

The aug faction got screwed with this update but is easier to fix than you think. They need to make a mission to find /raid/ and capture a mobile repair station once done you could build aug ships tier 2 and up which would lock you into aug only faction. Faster repair better guns and warp but lower armor different fire patterns

This new directional icon is great and all, but it needs to be in the detailed report too. It is important in our server to see what type of ship attacked. Maybe this list should have at least the ship class symbol. For instance, in this event, I attacked a Kumari on a node, and then he ran his Envoy into me after the fact. The log here shows that I hit him then he hit me, but he can take his reports and show that I destroyed his Envoy and claim that he attacked me in retaliation with his Kumari, which is false. The detailed report needs to show the direction of the battle too.

I have a suggestion. Instead of showing everything in a person's base, show what a person would actually get off of it. For instance, if a person has say a million in whatever but 800k's protected, just show the 200k overage. I feel this would cut down on meaningless base hits.

Would be great if more base planets could be added to high warp systems. There’s far too many systems you can’t relocate to in warp 40+ areas.
Also, swap all trit/par/dil mines in those areas to G3 mines. If you’re able to reach those areas then you’ve long since passed the point where mining basic rss is a worthwhile use of time

to add to @finite umbra 's suggestion could we get more base slots in key systems? P'jem, Rator, and Morska are woefully underpopulated. They need to have base slots like Kepler018 and Azha so single alliances can't monopolize every single slot in all 3 of those systems. On top of that, much of the player base has grown to the point where they need to move to those higher systems but there's just no attractive options because of the aforementioned shortage in the key hubs.
Well I would like to say that it is rubbish that an Armada can be launched on a target that’s as another armada already started on it. I just lost my directives and have nothing to show for it. This need to be fixed.
Just kill off the other Armadas leader, the flag shows it right to you.

Exactly. Yet the developers put up this lovely flag that blatantly shows the leaders name AND allows you to select his ship from there to make it even easier to attack.
For some reason they wanted Armadas to be a pvp thing, but they made it WAY too easy to win.

Here's an event idea Havana thought of. the dev's move panic to a different server inside seid server Panic is named panic at level 34. anyone L30 or above can join but there level is set to L30. the 1st to kill Panic gets his strongest ship for free for wining the event.

Yup, let's just go the longest way possible. This ship has warp 45 and could easily have taken a shorter route. Really need to fix that route optimization.

I have also been told people with warp 40 ships cannot reach certain areas anymore because of routing issues. They need to bunny hop different systems manually to get there now.

Wish we could use armada's to attack a base. Might help stop certain bullies. Also very rare directives to do it. Alliance base hit. Also need to add speedups to alliance store.

Current pet peeve: Make it possible to type in exactly how many RSS tokens you want to turn in. So we don't have to spend 10 minutes turning in 100k parsteel in increments of 20.

Ever since the new update this game has been disappointing!! My kumari that I work on for so long to be a base cracker is useless now!! 4 Kum to crack a base...maybe. how can you justify it to the guys in the middle. We have grind for a long time, just to get set back. Very unfair!!! I might as well go back to level 19. This game is just a mining game.
Why is it that the same people and alliance win the same events all the time???? Maybe event should be set by levels. I am level 28 no way I can compete against a level 39 that has spend thousands! Very unfair scopey.

Right now the Armada notification is quite annoying. I think all the players would benefit from receiving notification when they have unread direct messages. It's no use to me that somebody sends me a direct message warning me about the fact that I'm blocking an empty node if I'm not running the game at the time when the message was sent.

And please take a look at the PvP attack range. I can only go down to level 23, and I never even bother with that because it's so low. But some players at levels 6, 8 and even 11 above me are coming down and hitting people even lower than I am. If I'm limited to no more than 5 levels down shouldn't they have limits as well?

It may have been suggested before but I would find it much more helpful to see the “overcap” so to speak of bases rather than the complete contents of their rss. So only what they hold outside of the protected limit.

I dunno about fed, but like in KLG, Lixar(35) has all ships besides trader, I dont know that ROM has a system like that besides Rator(29)
until last tuesday, explorers were by far the best thing to farm on so i never looked
@austere sand @vast halo Pack prices are too high and don't have anywhere the resources they should, for the money. They are useless when your ships are tiered up and need hundreds of rares, but don't have a trust fund to waste on them. And you know them refinery upgrades are a lie. There's no upgrade, no better refinements as you go higher. Same garbage as level 20's get. Please relay this back to scopely. For everyone else. Save your money and find another game.
Need more ranking boards. The 3 you have are aimed at stats which can best be inflated by PvP or P2P. If you include boards for many of the other numbers tracked on our profiles, like enemy ships destroyed, players would find that being the top dog doesn't always mean being the best player. For instance, the top 5 power players on my server have barely over half the enemy ships destroyed as I have (55k vs. my 86k), and yet I am only 925th place in Power.
I think the combination of player and enemy ships destroyed, as in Total Ships Destroyed, would be a good one. One of the top ten on our server has a combined count of 13k but he's level 39. Completely paid to get there, obviously. If players want something to brag about, how about showing their work. A mountain climber who takes a plane over Mt. Everest and dives out with a parachute to plant a flag with his name on it didn't really climb the mountain, did he?
Would be nice to trade these for some other ressources.
How about more than one way to get Uncommon Armada Directives. Right now you can only get 100 Uncommon Directives every 7 days because of a cool down. Woot I can run 4 Armadas in a month.
This pretty makes the Armadas event useless and a waste of time.

Please auto-kick inactive miners. My server has at least 2 lvl 7s and a lvl 9 on 3* gas, 0 nodes for over a week
When somebody asks for help with say a five day upgrade (whatever) the people helping them are effectively punished because they can’t help that player anymore for the next 4 days. Things like that affect the daily rewards. It would be better if things didn’t take more than 24 hours. Surely that is enough?
I think that you should reward theses suggestions in game if they are implemented. Kinda like a thanks to somebody who helps you improve your business huh?

Missions should be rated and be accourding the level it needs to be played!!!! I’m lvl 24 , opend a mission on a lvl 23 system ... doing the mission , all was fine .... but the last part I need to go to Andoria !!!! Need lvl 37 warp for that !!!! I have several mission like that , like the Klingon mission “ bio hazzard “ I need warp 38 for that one !!!!! It’s a wast of time doing missions we can’t finish and collect @austere sand or any other members of the game ... please make a rankin for mission or make them within a players level !!!
How about the missions where you donate 60m trit for hardly any reward or those on 5 sections only to find a2m+ d4 sat at the end

Aside from that I requested for or 4 months for ability to buy relocation tokens, when they finally did it’s was a great idea they came up with. Pls how about a member put this forward and we put it in place. My main gripe is the update it’s shocking after much testing before update you needed 12 d3s of 100k more than a same lv sally to kill it. Now the same sally has seen a boost of wait for it 400k d3 205k so now even on same lv with same officers same research I tried with same test we got to 15 with hardly any impact. If you went fed go for it if not quit or your wasting money.
Judging on damage done by the 15 d3s I would state you looking possibly 45 to win one ship that was supposed to be balanced.
If I heard what great ideas we will forward them to our team (not) bs once I’ve heard it a thousand times. Get your bloody act together. I won’t be buying a thing until balance is done . Bloody fortune to upgrade any ship to find it’s worthless. One member has got all in place for enterprise and what you bring another ship out that will slap it silly out of the box. Plz come back to the old days when we were able to smash stations. For the average player, it is impossible now to raid them, even the littlest ones. Envoys don’t do their work anymore. Your regeneration time is too short and we can’t empty stations. Sorry but if we don’t have rss, we can’t play, that’s simple. I’m speaking in the name of all those players who don’t want to pay to play. Keep us this freedom. TY.

I know y’all aren’t gonna remove all the timers in the faction shops, but can we at least remove the Augment Token one? Leave the timer for independent tokens, plutonium, officers, etc—but the amount of augment credits we can get every day is so minuscule that a lot of us don’t really see augment space as worth it
I would like to see Dr. Charcot , get his station kills but on the Armadas. Like I thought they should be. Station for pasteeel , dilium , tritatuim , and green boxes. The Armadas for the other mining things , hostile boxes , armada credit.
