Please consider making G3 mining level 15+.

Reduce daily faction grind. 12million is consistently too much at favoured. Either an unrealistic amount of resources donated per day or too many ship repairs because there isn't always research/building on hand
In alliance store, use a slider control to pick the number of shields to purchase. The “one at a time” method is tedious.

Yeah. Hi. I got some ideas on getting huddles of friends to accomplish things in Armadas. How about Humanitarian Aid missions to help planets recover from natural disasters or set slaves free from Slaver ships Hostiles. Every time you hit any ship that's a Slaver, you liberate slaves from their evil grip. Every time you go home, the slaves you rescued would automatically be sent to their original home world and points are added up to get packs of resources and parts for the type of ships involved in the event.
Suggestion: (Does anyone read these?) : When doing a lot of Alliance donations (for example, to do the Faction Reputation Daily events), the pop-ups take forever to run through. And, they cover the chat section - and other "top"row items, such as the "Missions/Daily Goals/Archived" tabs. Makes it very difficult to select those tabs, and to see the chat. Perhaps move the notifications a little lower?

Please add ability to disable push notifications for Armadas. I don't know how many times I've thought I was being attacked only to find out someone created an Armada that I don't want to join.

How about a sortable mission list
Suggestion - Private Chats - Would like a way to search for a player's name. As our Private Chat history disappears so frequently, the only way to send a PM to someone is to find someone in their alliance (if you remember which one they are in), look at that Alliance member list, and start a chat that way. Would be nice to have a (SMART!!!) search - names are complicated and hard to remember, so the search should be a -inner-match... ie, search for "cat" and would return CaptCathode, and CatchMeNow etc.
@muted bear I bookmark their base because bookmarks are stored on the server from what I can tell.
Would it be possible to consider allowing us to turn on or off specific push notifications. Since Armada’s went live my phone is going nuts at work but if I turn them off entirely I lose zero node and base attack alerts.

For armadas anyone who gets there in time should be able to join regardless how powerful they are. It made the launch just underwhelming.
The store packs mainly the daily packs stop forcing people to buy the elite pack some people might only want to buy the middle one but you only give the option for the most expensive to people that have bought it in the past
Let us use latnum to buy uncommon and rare materials possibly blueprints aswell
Kindly allow us to choose what rss we want to purchase with our money instead of creating expensive packs which have items we do not need.
It's a win-win situation where more ppl are willing to purchase and u(scopely) will still earn. I won't spend anymore $ on this game until some adjustments are made.

@muted mortar and I'm saying it could have been better letting more in being one of the problems. If you're in an alliance not everyone communicates. Also I think people envisioned armadas a bit differently than what we got.
@viral marlin oh it was absolutely a clusterf**k at the beginning, just took a little effort to get everyone to fall in line. Obviously some groups have greedier players, heard lots of arguements about them. The best thing they could do is let the group leader pick the fighters and lock it rather than being forced to select the largest ships.

This is a total letdown. If I was designing this feature I know I can make it better and more engaging by doing the following:
- Allow the Armada Leader to add/remove people at will
- Allow the Armada Leader to have a green button to start the 10 sec attack sequence once he and at least 1 other are inside the purple fun zone
- “Waves”: When people are queued, have their ship join the round after the person before them died until either the hostile is killed. Those who attacked get a proportional reward based on the number of rounds they participated (this idea could make an entire video on...). I was inspired by this idea from Nowonshall’s first reaction video.
- Remove Armada Directives.
- The power if the hostile you can attack would be based on your Armada Control Center (ACC).
- Vary the targets to be ships that roam instead of just outposts. Have large ships that spawn and move like normal hostiles. Have planets that we have to orbital bombard. Have swarms versions of these hostiles.
- Don’t have the outposts overlap nodes or player planets (people got accidentally killed).
- Add someone to the queue, with their ship arrival time, once they press the purple button.
- Create a battle triangle with the hostiles (e.g. you attack an actual ship that’s a battleship, so you can select interceptors crew/ships for that - this will add some tactics/strategy instead of just who has the most powerful ship).
- Add a global counter or something that shows where the factions are relative to each other in the war so we feel like we are participating (e.g. if more Klingon outposts are being destroyed, give Klingon faction players a increased bonus to Fed/Rom).
Why am I constantly receiving notifications for joining an Armada? When I'm offline, I can not or do not want to join an Armada. Important notifications are lost. For example .. I am attacked .. or the spot is at 0 ... Shield is over ... It sucks!

Can we please have more bookmarks? You run out very quickly with the hundreds of locations of where to mine, where your friends are at and, if you're competitive, locations of your enemies. 100 bookmarks is not nearly enough.
It would also be nice to be able to sort them at least alphabetically and to have word length longer than 25 characters. Right now the most recently updated bookmark goes on top of the list and you have to use a very limited shorthand to describe it.
As well, it would be great to have the possibility of adding the same location twice because there can be more than one thing that interests you there and you may want to put it into two different tabs that have conflicting information (ex. friends and enemies).
Will there ever be a reliable way to get officer badges without buying packs. I have loads of officers I can’t promote because of this.
Armadas ...don’t auto post an armada in Alliance Chat until the leader gets to control who plays
Remove the timer from armadas and auto start when the last participant arrives

Please enable a simple feature: Admiral can set ally tags to war/nap state. It appears at internal ally info and within game screen player names appear light red = war / neutral = blue / nap = whatever pink 😉. Will help to find targets easier when you have war against a bunch of allies.
In our daily goals we need the option of all 3 resources not just one, I’ve had Gas option only for over 7 months never changing which is not fair

Why can’t you all leave the bonus refinery in? When this was in beta, there was a choice, refine into common, or refine into uncommon with the chance for rare. The levels of uncommon and rare needed to tier up is massive and we are faced with 3 options: a. Pay thousands just to get the minimum needed. B. Grunt away and maybe by 2199, have enough to tier up,, or c. Just quit and take Scopely’s revenue stream away.
I loved @austere sand ‘s comment about the refinery in the last q&a, we adjust it all the time. Yeah, adjust it down.
This goes for faction coins too, 11,000+ to get to top tier? There are not enough Federation. Missions to get that many coins, along with the dailies. It’s getting old. We all say the same things over and over.
There are a few things that need to be fixed. 1) the ability to sell 2⭐️ materials and Blue prints or old ships. What a waste of stuff I have. I can build 3 franklins, 50 envoys ect ect what am I to do with this. 2) the requirements do not match what the refinery produces. Even with the special refinery I sent in 120k of raw and got 34 uncommon on the special refinery for crystal. I sent on 120k of raw gas and got one rare and 65 uncommon??? What kind of math is that. Also I need 65 rare gas to upgrade my sally. I have not had a rare in the normally refinery in over a year. How am I to ever level up. 3) everything needs faction points. Ship BP, officer upgrades. They take forever to get. So unless you are buying them it is impossible. If you fix this the game would be more fun to play.
I think that is you want to get to a system but you dont have that warp you should be able to go to that system for 10k dilitium or something

Has anyone suggested that while seeing who is contributing to alliance ranked events is great. For raiding ones could it not be -/+ loss/ gains. Would help track problem players costing the whole alliance. 1 person can destroy hours worth of work. Its disheartening when u have no idea who that player is

again my miner flies off due to not wanting to double tap just browsing a system, allow me to deselect all ships so i can browse a system or tun off double tap to warp

Increase the time frame a player can leave an alliance and rejoin. Top alliances are using this technique to share resources which helps with raiding events. Do I hear alliance training around the corner to prevent one of these exploits?
Everyone should be able to join in on the armadas, not just a select few.
You need to give us the ability to select what notifications we receive. Attack warnings are being lost in the spam of armada notifications.
I believe that the packs should show what comes in it. Most will see..."Oh I'll get this ship!" When it's only parts to upgrade it. I just did that thinking I'd get the ship,and now I'm not happy.
For Armadas, can we get the leader of the armada the ability to close the armada when "full" of the members we want to participate rather than have someone fly in and bump someone just cause they are stronger? Also maybe the ability to move participants from primaries to standby? We try to give all members a chance to play an armada.
Also been suggested before, but can we PLEASE get an abort button for ships when they are told to warp?? This way an accidental ship movement order can be avoided? Thanks!

Ships in armada circle should be protected from attack. We have L37 going round hitting an armada ships for players not in his alliance.
for the combat UI, i suggest to modify the battlelog display and have “replay” so you can go turn by turn or line by line (where damage is exchanged) and see how it affects players. I find myself diving through the armada battlelog and building this view in my head.
Would be good if we could see which systems have new missions in them, there’s too many systems to search them all manually

<@&509691205798592532> @austere sand here's a viable idea/solution to the refinery woes. To purchase the independent credits to promote the augment officers, we have to mine both red and green data. We take that data and convert/buy augment credits to do so. How about you use the same concept with gas, ore and crystal. We mine those raw 3s and use it to buy uncommon and rare 3 stuff. For example, I mine 50k raw crystal, I can use it to buy 10 UNC or 1 rare. It eliminates the refinery and the issues/complaints it causes and allows us players to work/mine for it. Put in the work....you get the stuff we desperately need for growth. For those will little to no patience to wait/mine....they can buy packs.

i like that idea of rare and uncommon, but i think scopley would make those items expensive to get and not give very much for them, but still a good idea!
They should put uncommons as a separate chest to claim from armadas. It will make more people participate and probably get people to buy packs with armada directives to do more of them
Here’s an idea: Armada forming notifications are really good. How about using those same sort of notification for when we are attacked?
Now that you are running events for lower level players to earn the Jellyfish, please run one for the higher level players who leveled up before you could actually earn the ship. I know that it wouldn't really be useful, but having it sit at 50/75 bps for forever is annoying.

Just fix the level gaps a lvl 30 should not be able to hit a 22 the power gap is way too high to even protect yourself from that noise unless you hide behind a shield and that’s just lame. If a 30 is gonna hit a 22 force them to use ships on their level range lol
Sally is way too overpowered the other ships in that class need to be on same level or sally needs to be nerfed one of the 2

Make an Uncommon and Epic versions of the Star Fleet officers.
Vel, Shev, T'Lan and the rest of the gang are one of the most useful officers in the game. Their PvE abilities help players to grow tremendously. My favorites are Vel's with it's Dilithium drop increase and T'Lan to fast track leveling up a ship.
As players level up, their low stats become less relevant.
-Add ann Uncommon and Epic version of the same abilities
-Or even improved abilities; ej, *Dual 80% Tritanium & Dilitium PvE drop
-Better stats (attack, defense, etc

Improve the warp system
It is the worst feeling to have to wait for a mistaken destination. Or expired one
-Add "cancel warp" and return the ship to the point of origin
-Add "stop warp" allowing a ship to stop right away at the nearest system; instead of having to wait until the ship reaches the pre-defined destination
-Allow to change course at ANY time
Couple of suggestions for armadas:
- Rather than static 15 mins - leader can trigger attack once they are happy with the make up of the armada
- Leader can select the ships that make up the armada - means you can choose which players to help and more control to test strength and ship type against armada targets

Fix PvP ranges
It is a BROKEN system if a player 10-tiers higher can attack you. There's just no way to win.
Keep a 2-tier format (Ej a level 25 can attack lv 23 and and lv 27 max)
That is why there are shields ... doing dailies you get 12 hours of shield, you can get more in your alliance store with alliance points...

Yea we have seen a lot of player dropout between 20-24 because they can’t progress without being trashed by 29+ but it doesn’t work the other way for lvl 26/27 - only goes down to 20/21

We need a way to steal a rival alliance's armada...click on their flag and select steal, if you kill their leader and timer runs out it's yours for zero directives cost. Would spice up armadas on Waring servers
Game dev Bridger said they are working on adding pvp aspects for Armadas. They have some balancing to do

per example on our server, there is one 38 and a handful 33-35.
So the 38 could attack, well, 5-8 players at all? just on paper ofc, cause 7 of them are in the same Ally or Coalition.
How should that be fair?
You would take away the whole pvp aspect for those players...
Another option could be to lvl band by restricting certain abilities/research to +/-5 of the lower lvl'd opponent....so me attacking a 24 i would have all 30+ research deactivated for the fight
They've shown they can do this with armadas deactivating research and abilities
The higher lvl guy will still have an advantage but the little guy at least has a chance
Give Leader the ability to really manage the alliance
-If a user is always on bottom of the list you cannot click kick button(!!)
- Last login should be shown for the user to keep track of activity so leaders can make room for new members
- Activity should be only shown to internal alliance
PvP is broken. People talking about that you can use shield but real thing is that notification often still DOES NOT work or you get late notifications and it is ridiculously that a high level player need only ONE Hit to crack your base. Alliance members with similar strength are not able to help defending a station . Or if you are at war with an alliance you get constantly kicked by high level players from mines

Allow players to activate multiple armadas. One for each ship dock if they have the directives. If we can participate in multiple armadas, we should be able to activate multiple ones as well.
The ACC should be able to scan systems and detect armadas without a player having to manually search for them. Allow the ACC to find open armadas based on level and show them in galaxy view.

Suggestion - enhance combat log to show damage type as well. It sucks to have to experiment to work out what's kinetic and what's energy.

@austere sand Another possible add for a good PVE aspect. Also a good way to get all my money...add the Borg. Make specific systems where if you enter, the borg will attack. Could also be your station if you port in. Give decent rewards for kills but make them really hard to kill. Plus sell borg ships. I would buy it no question. Just sayin...
@austere sand Its about time you start focusing on f2p players. You have 1-3 months before seeing a huge drop in revenue. You have made plenty of money to hire the right people. You have the ability to localize the game for several languages, yet you are unable to make simple quality fixes to the game. Clock is ticking. Im sure you have your attrition report, and it should worry you.

Is it possible to have one of these wonderful help pages added for each event ship type? North Star, Franklin, Hijack, and Separatist please... We get the same question asked multiple times a day... Jellyfish/Medusa is another that should be included...
Amazing what one finds when one reads the instructions
has it been suggested that the battle log should show what weapon type is on hostiles, or that info on the information tab when the ship is scanned.
We can scan stations and ships from non alliance member but why we are not able to scan our alliance members. I need that to help members if they are over protection level or remind members to keep resources low in station or to shield or stop to protect their base if the stations is almost emptied by a raid. Why is this designed in such way? It does not make sense?
Many players wish to have the Locate and Recall buttons separated.
Maybe swap Manage and Locate so we do not keep pressing the wrong one.
A lot of us Recall by mistake instead of Locate.

Suggestion: open up the dead servers to new players, specifically server 19. You’re murdering us scopely, come on.
It would be fantastic, if there would be a possibility changing unusual gas, ore and crystal grade 2 to unusal grade 3. May fifty or thirty percent of it. Because in the higher level you still get grade 2 ore for updating the F&E as reward, but you actually don't need it really. There are a lot of ore, gas and cristal grade 2 in stock you don't can use.
And by this way, it would be also great, if you could useless blueprints for ships change in ressourses or something else.
Change ACC so you can specify how many ships (up to your limit) are allowed in the Armada, and pay the amount of directives relative to your size. I'm suggesting 35 directives per ship, minimum of 2 ships (to make it an Armada).
This is the only app in the world that displays iOS banners (for armada formation) while you’re looking at the app and trying to read the in-game banners, so... what you have programmed would be like getting banners for incoming text messages while you’re having a text conversation with the person. So completely unnecessary; please suppress them while playing.
In general, I feel you have gone overboard on the iOS banners and notifications for this new feature. We have no trouble forming armadas with the people who are currently playing, we don’t need 72 people hearing that an armada has formed.

The economics of armada directives is messed up. 250 Alliance Credits for 100 armada directives seems crazy to me. Also, just letting us acquire Directives with latinum would be great.
I know it's been said before but I'll say it again: it makes no sense that our ships cant stop or change course while in warp. I mean, can you even imagine an episode of star trek where the ship cant be stopped before reaching their destination? It's insane... plus the controls in the game are bad, so you owe us some way of dealing with your bad game design that sends our ships randomly across the galaxy.

Can you get the devs to increase the number of and respawning rate of armada hostiles?
The ranges of levels that a player can hit needs to be looked at. It makes sense to have large ranges when the game first started so that those advancing quickly had targets. There are more than enough playing now that the ranges can be shrunk to make the game fair for all.

Get rid of the gambling/rng aspect of refining mats. It’s beyond stupid. No one refines iron ore and MAYBE comes out with an amount of iron they want or need. And yet, somehow in the future refining processes are random and uncontrollable?
Allow us to run batches like normal, but we choose whether we want common, uncommon, or rare from those batches. Costs stay the same, give us the highest possible pulls as the static reward, and just stop the rng gambling bs that pushes people to buy packs.

With all of the i. Game purchases, the alliance gifts are a huge joke. What good is receiving something like 100 parsteel?!? Please up the amounts for alliance gifts.
Another suggestion; now that armada’s are here can you please dole out more alliance currency in the daily objectives? It’s hard enough to scrounge up currency for shield purchases, let alone buying more directives
Mining shields that work like base shields. You buy them through the alliance store, and they last until the node is depleted. You activate them manually any time your ship is mining. If you step off the node for any reason, the shield is used up. This will encourage higher level players to stay off the little nodes or else not use shields on them, and open up new discussions about fair mining acts and rule of engagement.
Why does a station with 3 docks only have 1 repair crew?
It doesn’t make any sense logically that you can only repair one ship at a time. There was an answer in the Q/A session with the designer that said if you wanted to repair all ships at the same time, you’d have to add all the times together. Why? The answer is to charge more money, nothing to do with the game. The times and costs are bloody high enough already. Repairing all together would make it more playable.
If I can only repair one ship at a time then why do I need multiple docks to have more ships. They can float around in space then if I can only repair one
drydock is tied to control of ships and repair of ships, can only manipulate a ship assigned to a drydock

Suggestion: Give Admirals the tools to move inactive player bases out of active locations so planets are not clogged in stystems like Pjem, Rator, Morska, or make the planets in those systems able to have the standard amount of base slots.

There should be a method for an alliance to "vote out" an inactive Admiral. Otherwise, it is a dead alliance.
Suggestion: Being able to form a blockade around an alliance members base when defending would be good (its very hard to defend a base when an attacking player has ported right next to it, it’s almost impossible to intercept the ship), or being able to attach to his station to bolster defences, would make being in a more active alliance worth while
@robust nest if you click on your research building in station view and then hit “research” button at the bottom of the screen you can view the research trees whilst currently researching an item
Suggestion: When you crack and loot a base, the base removed from it's position in the game and forces the player to reselect a new location on next login. For dead bases, this would be an automatic fix. For active bases, it will teach players to shield and free up locations for others to move into.
so you get busy at work/with kids/wherever, lose power, lose internet, cant connect to game for unknown scopely reasons and you lose the spot you've fought for months to hold onto just because you couldn't put up a shield? Losing all your resources isn't enough? no thank you.

I think armada groups should work like other games, with party invites. Click a name in chat or alliance list and have an option for invite. Then that group can hang out together for as long as they like.
The whole “can only repair one ship at a time because only one dry dock” excuse is really lame. Any time you are building a ship you would be unable to perform any repairs at all if this were extended out logically.
Still going to keep to restrict levels players can attack and compete in events with each other as well as keep looking into adding the ships from ST: D-A-C. A Starfleet middle ship and renegade Romulans using ships that are built based on the Narada would be a pretty interesting addition.

PLEASE make Star Trek fleet command compatible with more versions of Android. Why can't people install it on Tablets? It's ridiculous it can't be played on Android tablets but only phones. The only other ways of playing it are through emulators or via remote access of android devices.

Please add the ability to save crew configurations (with the option to include the below deck set up) with custom names and load the configuration with a single click (with a warning if not all members are available and the option to proceed anyway or cancel) - It would save so much time / hassle.

News of the swarm clusters can be improved. Fill the space with column text and add the swarm level to the name of the system so players can easily pick the ones they want by level.
One of my alliance members had an idea. A resource storage for alliance. So that say someone gets raided to 0 they can get help from alliance. Or if short on a upgrade or ship repair.
So, the refinery glitch shows how bad a problem you have. Get rid of rng in the refinery. Allow people to choose whether to refine for common, uc, or rare, and base the payout on ops and refinery levels. Hey look, I just made refinery levels more relevant.

Here's an idea, fix long standing issues as quickly as scopely fixed the refinery, that was finally giving people what they should have been earning all along. If STFC was quick enough to fix their refinery mess up they are equally as capable to make the refinery work better over all. We're led to believe al, these fixes are complicated and take time, yet when it affects scopely's bottom dollar, Scopely will certainly fix an issue in MINUTES while we are milked of money time and resources over months.
So basically, you are suggesting a sustainable and fair business model to scopely? Sure, maybe you could approach your local drug dealer as well and ask him to sell organic vegetables instead.

I would love to see a feature similar to armadas which enables the transfer of resources from one ship to another within an alliance. The drop off would occur in a neutral location, and would take time to complete, much like how there is a countdown on the Armada feature. The timer on the cargo drop off would give pirates time to steal the cargo from either ship, and would make it more interesting. I'd love to see thumbs up reactions to this, and if it interests anyone else, please ping people up high. Thanks!
Give alternatives to getting peace shields other than from dailies, alliance credits, or buying them. I think it's one of the major gaps that give the top alliances an edge over the smaller alliances.

I'll quit the game before I'm subjected to that grind again. Please tell Scopely that I'm here with my wallet, if they will just take my money.

Has any thought been giving to npc stations? I would like to see a way to get resources other than taking from players. The events dictate what we get but a npc station could be for whatever you need. And have npc ships come to defend just like a real alliance. Just an idea

hello make armada type missions for players start klingon space station destroying, needing peeps to kill certain level reds and whe all joined players have done the mini missions then they are able to strike the station.
Text and planets should have click pass through to other objects floating around the same space so we can select players and hostile ships sitting over them rather than waiting to pass by.
Please assign point values for station and research on a sliding scale based on what it costs in material and time to build/complete them. I just paid 390 uncommon crystal and a 5-day wait for level 30 Ship Hangar and got 400 power points for completing it. It has been worth 400 since it was level one. I didn’t even complete my daily Power Creep for that huge cost. It was worth basically nothing in my Limited Time Station Event.
I have noticed the same is true of research. If it’s a square far to the left, it’s worth very little even when advanced levels have huge costs.
Get rid of thes stupid pop down notifications at the top of the screen! There superfluous, redundant and annoying!

When mission archiving first came out, all goals could be archived but that has changed so now station goals, like upgrade Ops to next level, cannot be put in archive. It would be helpful to be able to archive and remove that flag from extending into the view field.

when ships are upgraded, i will get just the right amount of rss, then after the upgrade there is significant left over. this is presumably because of the research that optimises or discounts the cost of rss. my question or perhaps request is: why cant these discounts be applied upfront so i can use just the right amount of tokens.
the discounts ARE applied upfront, in a way, what you are looking for is for it to actually change the required amount in the display to reflect the discount. It's just a display error.
@cinder walrus Just binge watched a lot of your videos last night. Very impressive, especially the officer and battle log information. I saw one about an event you were annoyed about. Here is one that really annoys me. Needing so many credits to upgrade officers and grinding hostiles, getting drops like this is really annoying. Especially when I can only get 50 of them per day on the augment store.
I’m a level 27 ally with the augment clearly says the hijack ships blueprints will be available in the augment store ....( and events ) however I’ve learned this is not the case the wording on this needs to be changed so that others won’t spend time and money on it

Ok again, I am requesting the ability to recycle old and unused ships. I am also requesting the ability to reverse or drop out of warp when accidentally pressing the recall button when you meant to press the location button. Or maybe just simply move it to the ship icon itself. That way a player can always see their ships without having to open the dialogue window and then press the recall button when all you wanted to do was to see your ship in the system location instead of sending it back to base.
Also, I believe that the level rules of engagement need to be adjusted. There's a lot of controversy over the issue of a level 35+ player being able to hit a player under level 30. The rule is that 5 + levels below the level that the player is not allowed. That's why a level 27 can't hit a level 21 or lower. So the level rules should apply for level 30+ players as well. Nothing is more frustrating than having a level 39 player come up on you ( at level 29 or lower ) with 1 ship that is exponentially more powerful than yours.
IE. a level 39 player with a 2mil+ strength epic ship walk up to your 300-500k uncommon ship or ships and proceed to wipe the floor with your fleet.,and knowing that ye/she can do it without having to worry about any actual resistance. That's like someone bringing a tank to a paintball gun game. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS!
I've gone so far as to just drop whatever I was doing and recall the second I see any player level 35+ enter a system that I'm working in to avoid being cannon fodder. FIX THAT ISSUE!
A good way to use old ships would be to create a fleet defence _ where all your extra ships have one officer assigned to it the station has to have three, and the ships have to be fully repaired. Otherwise hanger and old ships are fuck tard and useless as is any officer that can't be put on the limited space of ships.
My suggestion is that while away from Drydock regardless of damage to the ship, I should be able to assign a different captain from WITHIN the bridge or crew officers on the ship.
Because if I want to mine a particular resource (say gas) and I have the perfect officer for that, I should not have to recall back to base to reassign the other officer that is ideal for mining another resource (say crystal or Ore).
Just a suggestion.

Since you guys have the level hit range sooooo wide, and looks like you're not going to change it, even though so many people asking for it to change.
Please setup an Armada system so lower ops levels can band together and to crack & loot bases much above their level.
Once an Armada attack is initiated, a 15min peace shield is active while the Armada timer counts down on the base.
Notification goes to the base owner as soon as the Armada is initiated on the base.
To thwart the Armada attack Allies can defeat or interrupt the Armada leader.
If the player comes online they can choose to activate a longer peace shield which will automatically cancel the Armada attack once the timer reaches zero.
If there is no peace shield when the timer
reaches zero Armada attack will begin on the base.
I would like afleet attack for base hits once a day, you get to send every ship you have fully repaired, and have two officer's for minium. That would help.
My alliances came up with our "official" ship skins but implementation is least of our worries. We're more conserned with some "more sensitive" personalities might have a coronary and end up leaving the game. Of course scopely doesn't allow skins, but I see nothing wrong with a pirate puffing on a blunt with the jolly roger in the background as too bad. However the individual images might not be. We were going to pay homage to the WW2 bombers and put scantily clad ( mostly naked cause, well we'll dirty pirates) women of the galaxy. I know that I'd love to have a naked Andorian girl on my Kumari. .....👀 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

SUGGESTION: how about sensor jamming with miners in faction space to cut down on the the constant attacks from faction ships or smarter Ai to get the faction ships to realize that hitting a player every 60 seconds for 30 minutes is futile
Please stop the Armada alerts the way they currently are. The armada play is great and should be a great team building experience, but that is ruined when players who banded together to do an armada can't because some player not even playing gets the alert and comes online to bump the active players who were engaged in chatting, hunting for the armada targets, etc. It leaves the active players feeling burned when this happens repeatedly. As an admiral I am well aware that I can kick the less active/ non-compliant/ inconsiderate player from the alliance (and thereby let the active players enjoy the armada battle), but this solution is rather drastic in the average case and only implementable by Commodores and above. There should be a limitation on the armada alerts or some control as to who has priority. Instead of making the weaker players feel like powering up, it makes them feel burned for doing work finding targets, etc. I realize that the PvP aspect of armadas is just ramping up, maybe rendering this issue moot, but in the meantime it is killing the entire game bc it is drawing the energy of the players and simply wasting it- making them disengage and lose interest in the game as a whole. The chats and discords have been very quiet lately after expressions of frustration.
The kick is nice and responsive and well worth it when a player is refusing hails and just ignoring the rest of the alliance/ armada. So when a player barges in 2 or more times, I have no problem kicking them 15 seconds before the battle begins and then sending them an invite later. "Did I do that? I was just trying to get you to respond to our hails....." It works, but again, there should be less drastic methods for less outrageous gate crashers.
This mainly impacts the dedicated Free 2 Play players. The active higher level players knock everyone off when they need to, but take pains not to barge into lower level armadas (no need for a 1mill ship to take out a 200K outpost).

Easy quick fix for armadas: split rewards among all participating and waitlisted players. Only participating count towards the strength and fight. So it’s more a matter of joining armadas then getting to fight in one.

@cerulean frost you already can join any armada, if someone leaves or gets killed the next one in the queue takes over as a participant. So many people tend to show up for every armada that it just wouldn't be worthwhile to those who fight if all the tagalongs get rewarded as well.
Mining vessels being able to take out star bases seems a little ridiculous. Is this by design or an oversight of how OP they can get compared to vessels more likely (in the realm of the fiction we are experiencing) to attack a star bases.

2 words: Wormhole Technology. Add some wormhole technology to the research tree. You would have a wormhole generator at your station and have opportunity to collect wormhole devices throughout the galaxy. You would have to earn the wormhole devices to plant by completing missions, etc... Your ship would have to travel to the distant system to place a device. Once placed, they can be picked up and moved, but stay wherever you plant them until you retrieve them. The point isn't necessarily to make travelling to distant systems possible. Just faster. That 10 minute trip to deep Augment space could be cut down to one minute.
NPC bases! So many dead/inactive accounts on the server already. NPC bases would add something else to do other than boring mining. Also, please fill them with uncommon because at the current refinery drop rate it will take me 180 days for ONE ship mod upgrade or £500 both of which are beyond a joke. You want higher level players to stick around...give them a chance and some varierty, otherwise, lose them all to boredom and or the paywall.

Notifications - Need a better way to say what things we would like actual notifications for. As mentioned above, I can't turn off notifications without also losing notifications when I forgot to put up a shield or if something I do want to monitor is happening because the notifications are almost pretty much 'all or nothing' kind of design.
Add to this, in game, it would be nice to get a better notification about when a ship has arrived at its destination (Especially in hostile space). The brief flash on your ship that your ship is being targeted by a hostile is not noticeable enough at times and babysitting ship destination wait times is rather annoying at times.
Please use the ship yard for tiering up ships
Hello ! I want to draw attention to the fact that Scopely cheat players! I'm talking about a loyalty chest 2, which states that there is a chance to get a badge to improve officers. So, my friends and I have already opened more than 1000 of such chests and no one received even one badge!
I ask the developers to fix the chest, or write a specific chance of a reward, otherwise it's just a hoax! Thank you for understanding!
@muted mortar @twin pollen That's terrible. I realize this is a game, but in what ST universe has a mining vessel ever taken out a star base? Also, I agree with PVP tiering. I play other games with PVP components (actually, it is an integral part of them), but this... this makes it not so much fun. At the very least, there should be PVP free safe zones for people who don't like that component of the game (or aren't ready!!). Not unlike EVE. I'm willing to support the game. I've even purchased a few packs. But, this far exceeds monetization abuse - I've seen so many people in my alliance leave after getting to 15 because they can't enjoy the game while they perform the grind they must do. NPC bases might be a start... I'm reading about the success of the introduction of NPC enemy targets to Fortnite. A game can be profitable AND fun, if they want it to be.
@hard nymph Good news/bad news, this game is not for the guys that never go past 15. This game is designed and run solely for the guys willing to spend anywhere from a lot of money to a ton of money to grow their ships and base. Sure there are some hangers on in the middle...but this game was never intended for anything but, as you described it, 'monetization abuse'.
(And they're not even doing that as well as they could be...as they keep the servers closed to keep new players/new money out.)
I'm not even saying the above sarcastically or because I'm an unhappy player (I am). I'm saying it because that what it is, and it's how mobile games have been trending for a good long while now. Hundreds of millions of dollars worth of dummies will play and pay even if the game is a turd (this one is)..because humans are easily pulled into psychologically designed monetization schemes (which STFC absolutely is).
Sad. I used to worked in the gaming business for 10 years. Two different companies. But they had one thing in common: they loved making games. And we (operations) loved architecting systems that could run them. Monetization was important, it is a business, but there was always concern over which models to adopt. When Arena.net put out their model with GW2 people (internally) went nuts! I mean... MMO with no monthly recurring subscription!? But the founders felt strongly about their product (and also did a pretty good job negotiating their relationship with NCsoft). Micro transactions were just on the cusp of making their debut and taking hold in the USA. I hate them.
I wish you'd made STFC. Scopely doesn't give even the slightest of damns.
And as far as I can tell, only occasionally hires coders off of fiverr to do a couple of hours of work a month.

Mining ships should return to base when full, it wouldn't sit there waiting to be smashed in real life. Daft is what it is. Oh, and we should be able to recycle obsolete ships and harvest back some of the resources sunk into them. But what am I saying, there's no profit for Skopely in that is there. And that's all they seem to care about.

Probably has been suggested before but you should be able to move officers who are on the ship into different positions without having to return to the station.

Armada targets seem to weak and the number of players controlled by an aramada is too small. Would you consider upping armada control to 10 or 15 by level 30, with incremental updates along the way, and upping armada power of the level 30 targets to about 50Mill power ?
Also can we get some Ferengi crew added to the game ?
How about giving us a event where we can earn tritanuim rewards/ tokens for a change, I have way too much parsteel 180 mil and can't use much of it because of a massive trit shortage

Yeah by upgrading your station and killing swarms, whoopy, I can't upgrade much, lvl28, because you need so much trit to get it, killing level 28 swarms, lol, I'm F2P, best ship is a D3 at 320k, not much luck there, what I meant is something similar to the klingon separatist event where we can earn tritanuim rewards big time like we did the par with that event
Shame to say but our generation capabilities is way too low at level 28 and up to make a difference in how much we need to progress
@kindred bane i'm level 27 ftp and i can cut through 3 level 28 swarms with my 240k vahklas, 4 if i sacrifice my 110k franklin on the first one. that's only 3 trips to finish the heroic event, the rest i can handle easily in just 1 run with the franklin. It is so far the cheapest event to complete all the rewards for in terms or repair materials and speedups.
Domination can be completed by upgrading literally anything, techs, buildings, officers, and ships. it's usually really easy to complete that as well, one or two officer upgrades or techs can usually cover all of it.
do you need help with officer setups maybe?
Officer set up is good, we have 2 level 32 guys doing research on officer combos since May to get the best setups for the events and hostile hunting, the officer shard lotto has not been kind to me as I miss officers like Decuis, Carol, and so on, I only got Nero last week, lol

Vhaklas is 192k now, again trit that's the only thing holding it back
First setup isn't quite optimal, use tlaan instead of arix and you're good. that setup works well on the vahklas as well.
the second setup is actually bad. you should use the same setup as the first with tlaan instead of arix. You can use that same setup on the Vahklas as well.
Swarm do kinetic damage, you should not be using chen. uhura kirk and tlaan actually work pretty well on the Franklin.
I feel you on the officer card lotto, i've got only one officer maxed yet i keep getting virtually nothing but xp from every single recruit crate.
How about introducing the borg as a continuously and randomly spawning NPC ships ranging from the sphere, pyramid, and cube. These appear in all regions of space randomly and are now the target for the new armada concept. These borg ships likewise attack any unshielded bases and ships including miners in the system where they spawn. They appear for a limited length of time set by a timer and they disappear at end of timer. Killing the borg ship yield varying materials and resources. A warning will flash in the players screen warning of a borg invasion of their system and thus call to start of an armada to thwart the borg invaders. The borg ships will likewise fire at any ships targeting them.
Surely beats fighting a non moving base.

Scopely, if y'all are listening and care about players opinions, I presented this poll to the Discord's of 7 top alliances across 2 servers.
#2 won with a slight advantage over #1. #3 was significantly less popular though comments suggested numerous changes in the Armadas mission were desired.
My Idea is simple one, the ability to scrap old not needed ships so you can have the rss back to build newer ships, I am not saying you get it all back but based on ship type and tier you could get back 1/3 of the rss used to build it and also 1/3 of the common / uncommon gas, ore and crystal used as well. There are a load of lvl26 plus players that have multiple envoys and other ships that we don't need or use any more

Hi. I have an idea.
A.U.S. Allocated Umbrella System. Designated systems that have a specific algorithm that can protect bases from 1 to 14. Which is generally levels of people who are starting out. Not just the bases are protected from bombardment but also their ships. Like the entire system as a mesh of protecting nodes at the perimeter. Levels from 15 upwards should not be allowed. As they are of more experienced players who can defend themselves. But the protection grid only permits under level 14. Anyone that continues to disregard the rules of fair play should be tagged by the victim. The culprits will not be able to mine from asteroids or raid any station. Placing heavy sections on perpetrators of trolling or bullying, should be like a cane at the back of the hand. If they continue with their crass activities, banning will be only resort.
If you are bullied and are level 15 to 20, you can make a special request to the monitoring authority, to let you through the protection mesh. Anyone that has been marked RED by the victims, ABSOLUTELY has no right to make any request to be protected. Think aboutabout that one.

Under 14 bases are immune from attack. Mining ships are protected by a +/- 2 level PvP attack range. Now you want entire systems exclusively? This isn't a ski resort with bunny slopes, mate.
Well, how about just specific M class planets rather than an entire system? The range of protection falls within 15 to 23? All Earth like planets can be allocated a protection status providing they have a Base Hub icon. Can someone kind of compromise be agreed on?
If they have any spaces available around them. The more there are orbiting around an M class planet, the stronger the shield cover becomes. So even if the station shields collapse on first round, the planet's generators encompass that station until the user returns and reestablished their own cover.
Or the shield coverage only covers a station provided that an attack was the cause over the station shield collapse. The players then have a margin of grace to reactivate the shields within thd hour from the point it was knocked out. If they fail to that, Glen they run the risk of being struck again. The catch is that planetary cover only helps in times that you are hit by Hostiles. If you neglected to put it up, you'd be in serious problems.
You want to keep the shield up when orbiting non class M planets? Like the volcanic young planets and gas giants? You will need to farm dilithium to maintain the shields around those class of planets. They are considered as not fit for habitation so it means there are no plants or generators to surround the hubs with emergency shields.
Say that you farm a thousand crystals, they will cover your power levels for 1 hour around non habitable planets.
So every thousand crystals you generate will cover an hour of Shields. You'd need at least over 30k of crystals to cover shields around other classes of Planets for 24 hours and spare for ships that use them in propulsion.
Of course, this is open to healthy debate and consideration.

DUuuude, Scopely isn't interested. They're not fixing simple shit currently broken, they're not going to make a thing about M class planets. It took them a year to come out with the laughable Armadas.
Idea: what about alliance perks. The alliance can contribute alliance points toward a specific perk and it would be shared across all members. Suggestions: repairing at alliance bases, sharing nodes, increased damage when X amount of alliance ships in same system. It would give people and incentive to stay in an alliance.

Join 10 armada fleets - rewards 200 alliance credits & 100 directives, this would help alot of weaker players obtain alliance credits when their alliances are not in the top 10. it would also encourage more team work

Also like to see a system to refine g2 ore into g3 ore. 10/1 , 25/1 50/1ratio or something, even if only refined ore could be used etc. At this point my stockpiles of g2are worthless anyway

I would suggest a trade system for each res and materials. A game auction where I could sell a resource for a set price or trade for another type of res. A game I used to play called Evony had a very good market.

Do the same for donations to the alliance. This way we get and give resources quickly and people don't have to sit and tap/click for an hour to get or give what they need and can get on with game play.
That's a fab idea, Khan. Please note, designers/development. Make things easier to work with rather than tedious. I still see there are glitches in systems where there are Hostiles floating around outside the perimeter of the system and ships that can't be targeted. They are just either stuck or floating and don't let you select to strike.
@rapid cipher fabulous idea. That would be great. Providing you mine and hunt for the necessary rss to refit the ship to higher levels. Each ship has a determined amount of rss it requires to Refit to a new grade.

Nobody commented on the idea of a Planet based Temporary Shield Cover? I put it forward yesterday. Suppose your shields are hammered at the Base during a raid. You'd like an immediate response from the Hub to cover it 2 seconds after collapse. It should provide cover against further raids for an hour. This system should only be active while you are logged out of the game and sends you a broadcast similar to when you are under attack, but says something different. You are responsible for reactivating the shield befire the hour transpires, if you don't wish to suffer further raids. It could be called a "Grace Shield."

@naive river what a meant is that when your station is raided by heavy grade weapons, if your Base can't handle that power and the shields collapse, the Hub would wrap your station with an Emergency shield and alert you if you are offline at the time. That is only in the case that you had logged out and had your shields active.

What's best crew setup to strengthen shields of Turas, Phindra or Talla to grind swarm? Which one is best for that chore? Catch up in a couple of hours.
For those g2 ships I'd use the Taurus for swarms, stay in your combat triangle for best results.
So I have an idea, what's up on adding a "recycler" for g1 and g2 mats and parts. Certain levels dont even use them and still get them in events, and packs purchased. It's dead weight.
You should allowed gift packages between players. I mean one player paying for the offer package as a gift to other player.

Device Notifications:
First, allow which notifications you want to get to be configured.
Next, add the following as device notifications:
- When ship depletes a node
- When ship goes over protected cargo
- When someone direct messages you in game.
Move the notifications to the right side of the screen and make it possible to swipe them off
Allow alliance members to see each other’s resources
Provide Admiral notifications to member list ie when one is added or leaves the alliance
Provide alliance token rewards for alliance contributions
Put speed up tokens for repairs and upgrades in alliance store

If you insist on having leaderboards for the top 10 players at least make it worthwhile! I have almost never missed a daily target and when all done, it give about 400+ points in total. Currently daily max goal is 245 at ops 28. a few more rewards would make sense for the people who go the extra mile

I put an 8 hr shield up at 1130pm my time. Then you announced a maintainence window 3 hrs later while I'm asleep. Now I wake up to the game being down for next hour and a half and have no hope of getting a shield up before having to be at work.

So everytime the „Admin bot“ is writing in GC you get a notification.
Because the most player are not on Discord and Ofc not all are online when the bot write on GC.

@nocturne lantern that steel wall is there on purpose for many of us to protect our smaller amounts of tritanium and dilithium from being raided on the first scoop form the whales with level 45 faction survey ships. 3M per load from those beasts.
I love the ability to read the flavor text on missions you currently have assigned. But, I'd really like to read the text for the ones I've already finished since I blew through some early on and would like to check them out. Plus, having a "Completed" section would be super useful to know if there's anything you've missed out on.
Any plans to replay events like those for North Star? Newer players are disadvantaged if they don't have $$$.
I wish to submit a suggestion that if your armada is cancelled by the game your directives get returned. I actually started an armada not realizing there was someone else there with one already started. Only during events do you get compensated for starting an armada. Under normal circumstances you lose directives period.

idea for new event: Event called: THE HUNT (Bounty hunting) part 1
When you kill enough player ships you get a bounty of a certain amount of latinum on your head (for being a pirate). Your ship becomes visible on the map with a delay of appr. 1 minute or 30 seconds. In essence a hunter can see where you have been 30 seconds (or 20 or 60) ago.
The bounty starts low, only a couple of latinum and increases wih the amount of player ships you destroy. With of course a certain maximum.
The original pirate cannot dock his pirate ship temporarily in his own spacestation until the bounty is removed (in essence until the pirate ship is destroyed). For each minute/hour that the pirate survives he can earn a reward depending on the amount of bounty that is accumulated on his head. But the reward shouldn't be to high. Because it is more about the idea and honour of surviving as long as possible.
The pirate player can only repair his ship a couple of times in a specially designed pirate base. This pirate base can be attacked by other players only when a pirate ship is docked. Otherwise the location of the pirate base is hidden to the hunters and only know to the pirate player.
Optional: when a certain number of ships is destroyed, the alliance that the pirate is member becomes a pirate alliance. Each member of the pirate alliance has his current strongest ship turn up (that is not in the spacestation) on the map and becomes also a hunted. But the original pirate gets the highest bounty and when the orginal pirate ship is killed or captured all bounty's disappear.
For lower level of players that need to attack a high level pirate there should be a counter that will help them share the bounty among a group of hunters that have participated in the hunt.
There should be a cooldown for the pirate in using the warp drive and the pirate ship can only warp to a neighboring system each time.
When an alliance becomes a pirate alliance all the pirate ships can only dock at the pirate base for repairs only (also only a number of times) and only a couple at the time. When a ship is repaired it is placed back in space. The hunters cannot see how long it will take for a ship to be repaired, but repair times will be much faster than in the personal space station.
Players in a pirate alliance also get a reward for the time that they are a pirate. But when their personal pirate ship is destroyed the reward counter is stopped.
When a pirate ship is repairing the timer for the rewards is paused for the player repairing his ship.
A pirate ship can be attacked by all levels.
This idea is not complete, feel free to add your own comments and suggestions.
If hiding the current location of a pirate is not possible, perhaps it could also work with showing the hunters the actual location of the bounty. Things will have to be examined by the developpers, tested etc.
My idea is based on pvp rules from some other games i encountered.
Why not develop a system that you can request your alliance, who are in the same system as you are in, to activate your station shields while you are logged out? So if you are in a hub that coincides with another member over the group, yiu can inform that player, "I am logging out, please reactivate my station shields when you notice they are down." OR they can click on my station to check how much time is left for the shields to drop, and can press a button at the corner of the status box, that states "Reactivate". This will give the station owner a window of two hours. They are also informed through an alert on their phone that they have had their shields reinstated temporarily. The message would likely say, "You have an extra 2 hours of shields." You can do likewise to group and alliance members, providing they are in the same system.
Petition: Add an extra stardock to an earlier level.
Let's be honest, only a very small percentage of players will ever reach level 39 for the 5th dock, but the 6th and last stardock looks to be level 50 (might be wrong) which is unobtainable currently and will be near impossible for the vast majority of players when levels 40-50 do release. Instead of waiting and staring at that empty space, let's make it usable now. I would petition to make a ship dock research upgrade at 23. Why 23? Because we recently got the Armada Building at that level and an extra star dock would further solidify it as a level of importance for players.
With Latinum mining now out and needing a specific ship (D'Vor) along with Data mining (Botany Bay), many players have nothing but miners going throughout the day as 3* material mining is also vastly important for ship/building/research.
Compound this with daily events, hostile/Swarm dailies, Armadas, and I'm sure more new events coming in the future...many players just don't have the ability to get everything done even if they play throughout the day.
Having an additional stardock will help alleviate this by allowing players to, obviously, have an additional ship out at a lower level to help attain their daily goals.
BONUS: Maybe also look at the possibility of adding a couple Survey Ship Only docks instead if the extra dock option messes with base power scaling too much. Players WANT to use their multiple surveyors that they have either earned or bought.
<@&509690795536941056> Communication within the alliance to coordinate armada attacks continues to be a major pain point. It would help a great deal if the message that goes out in alliance chat about the Armada forming included the following additional details:
1️⃣Type: unc/rare/epic
2️⃣Level of target

4️⃣Faction of target
5️⃣Number of seats in the Armada
Just a quick summary of the pertinent details so people can make an informed quick decision instead of having 700k ships blindly show up for 250k targets.

Suggestion/Ingame Notifications: equip notifications with a duplicate check or expire times, if notifications get stuck too long, and you are able to get them unstuck, they should reduce itself to their minimum in order to be able not to be bothered by tenths/hundreds of similar notifications after that

A separate battle log for PvP from the one used for PvE. PvP log should have all the entries for the past 24 hours and PvE log only 20 entries.
Idea: I played before an other game, where alliance members could help others with Ressourcen. Player who had much of it could spend something to Player with need something. For example, I have 100000K Parsteel and an alliance member is running off with Parsteel. I spend him 100K or 1000K for his Starbase. Background is, a lot of Player buy their stuff, like me. Other can‘t buy because of not enough money for that.
@nocturne lantern Has been requested many times, but players at higher levels have easier time getting rss and what seems like a little to them can be a lot to a lower level player giving them too much help. If this were to work, there would have to be a tax on the rss donated, increasing by the level difference between players so for instance, a level 25 player donating 1M parsteel to a level 20 player might lose 1M par but the level 20 player would only get 700k par. Another way is if there was an even exchange that both players have to agree upon, like 1M par one way would have a calculated cost of 250k trit or 50k dil the other way. The game would calculate the cost options for the trade, and the players would both have to accept for it to go though.

Here’s an idea. Why don’t you guys work on the bugs as fast as the refinery bug. Game would be big free in under a day
because most of the bugs hinder us rather than give us an advantage.
Show timers under miners for both time to fill, and time til protected limit is reached.
Implement an AI into the ship captains. Why can’t they think for themselves? Have a daily single-use (timer) where the captain can think for themselves for an hour (extendable with latinium). E.G. Mine and return (but protected capacity is halved). Attack specified hostile level/type, return and repair (but not request help from alliance)

I have a few suggestions: 1) please allow the user to opt in for Autocorrect usage in chats; it would save so much time and make things more legible. 2) I am constantly hunting hostiles in systems with less hostiles than people hunting them. This is total BS and should be fixed, because it makes finishing dailies a chore. By the way, when I go to a level 25 system I expect a preponderance of level 25 hostiles; a smattering of 24s and 26s sure, but MOSTLY 25s. 3) please allow us to access all aspects of a ship at all times, not just when idling. If attacking, just turn the ship icon background to red and leave the rest alone; that way we can see our shield depletion in real-time. Thanks!

At the moment we have survey ships that are used to mine. But these ships in the actually show dont mine they take cargo from place to place. To promote more pvp and have these ships working as they should. What about removing all mines and have the planets you are based around give your base the res and mats you would normally mine (at different rates depending on level and system). The ships can then be used to take items from one base to another base this can be between your own alliance or other alliances. Other players can intercept this ship between bases and take the cargo that their ship can hold anything over that is returned to the player who sent it but its locked to be sent again
Could you please either stop sending notifications for an armada attack to our phone or give us the option to not be notified of it? It is a useless notification, as no one is going to start an armada hoping someone shows up after being notified, and our phones keep blowing up all day with the useless notification.

Ok, I'm going to say it. I'm a level 32, ready to move up. I faithfully buy the monthly packs because I think it is a good value and I think it is fair to support the developers. However, they are unfair to the players. We know that packs are tailored to either certain individuals or groups and they have the power to do this. Why do my packs include so much 2* that I have no use for? Would you shop at a store that made you buy things that you did not want or need? Let me suggest two possible solutions.

Tailor the paid packs better for players that eliminate resources that cannot be used. Or...

Expand the usefulness of currently useless materials. For example, allow refining 2* into 3* or better yet, allow us to use 2* materials. We could use them for alliance donations in addition to other materials, or create an economy that allows us to sell 2* for tokens, credits, or other things. I think this is the better of the two options because it will bring activity into more areas that are now not productive.
Suggestion - it would be nice if it were possible to start/join Armadas with our Alliance Allies. I mean whats an Armada if your Allies can't assist as well. Is that a possibility in the near future?
Suggestion: We would LOVE for armada hosts to have the option to select which players can participate in an armada. If left unselected, the game would choose top power ships, but hosts would have the ability to select certain players out of the group in the ring.
Still unknown. They are working on making diplomacy available in game, so I'm guessing it's possible at some point. As for choosing who participates, they said that is intended as is and will not change

Suggestion - Battle simulations with alliance members. Think TNG episode "Peak Performance", no damage and allows players to check out their ship setups at minimal cost.
Like how officers have various captain abilities that affect the ship, the ACC should have a host of abilities you can upgrade, but you have to select only one ability to be active when you call an Armada, and that ability is shared for all ships in the armada.

Yes like ProConsulAyal suggested, us medium spenders need to still be able to compete with those who spend like no tomorrow but at a slower pace. Most other game have a tier system for their packs that come out in a weekly or monthly rotation. They start at 4.99 then progress higher as you buy the pack up to a 99.99 pack, yes there are some that are only 99.99 and those are primium packs. Yes those who drop cash like crazy on 99.99 packs do keep you guys funded but its us medium spenders to f2p gamers that help keep the game going.
Exampls how some packs start out then can progessively get higher.

Scopely just shouldn't assume that once you buy a lwr cost pack you can afford to pay more for another. People would buy more packs at one time if the value made it justifiable.

Hi all. I want to ask if it's possible to have the Last connection for People in the same team ? In other games, they have it and we can control the activity.
I know the Kumari is supposed to go after the Explorers first, but I think it would be nice that it saved the Interceptors for last and allow me to follow on with an Explorer of my own to take them out.

- the ability to recycle old and unused ships.
- to be able to take the 2anything and fuse it into 3 anything. When you are sitting on 45k in 2* crystal or 100k 2gas it sure would be nice to be able to fuse them into 3 material
- not having to fend off incoming faction hostiles every 60 seconds for 30 minutes until they decide that you aren't going to move off the mine
- take the cool down time on latinum and Armada store from 22hrs to 10 hrs maybe?

Just so you all know. Scopely's Payment system is working for them. They won't change it. On my server people have spent easily 10k or more. But of course everyday a new game comes out and eventually ftp or limited people will leave. You can rage about costs. But it will not change anything. Rage more about PVP banding so you will stop getting hit by these whales.

The game protects players under level 25 from getting killed by anyone over 5 levels higher, then it needs to apply to the over 30 players as well. A level 39 player should not be able to kill someone 10 levels lower. When I get to level 30 then I will fair game for a level 39 player. Not while I'm still under 30
I can't move a level 14-21 player off a zeroed mine, then I deserve the same protection from a level 39

I work for a living and have bills to pay and don't have a trust fund or mommy and daddy's credit card to just dump obscene amounts of money on the game.
Only way you will catch up is to pay a ton.
Some people have the income to do it. And sadly they happen to be the people who are bullies and like to push others around.
And actually some people have spent way more then 10k i used that as an example. Some on my server have spent at least 15-20k on this game
It gets harder to bully people in the real world because everybody is sue happy so they put all that money and effort into doing it in the game.
a $20 pack w faction credits would be really nice, for example if u need only 4 more bortas prints and are getting impatient, but not impatient enough to spend $100, or want to promote Spock but are 100 credits shy, etc

New suggestion.:
How about letting 2 players who have issues with each other set up a duel. For example:
Player A has 4 ships and player B has 4 ships. They have issues with each other. So they call a duel and proceed to a neutral system and go at it as a 1 on 1 fight. Noone is allowed to interfere from either alliance and the last one standing wins the duel. Loser accepts defeat and both go
Their separate ways.
Now that works only for players of similar levels.
I for one am I not going to challenge a level 30+ player cause that's an exercise in stupidity. Odds are that a level 30+ player has ships that are too big for my little fighters to take on fairly.
For example ship A from player A is 450k+ and my best is a 325k . Yeah, I'm dead. So it'd have to be between similar strength players. Maybe that might be a good idea for scopely to figure out how to make a 1 on 1 duel feasible for 2 players to settle things .

They've banded together into supermega whale alliances because there's no reason for them not to, they can easily win everything and still have people to kick around. if pvp banding was more restrictive at the high end that would have to change.

@muted mortar Thats very accurate and the very situation on my server. I took a month off because they basically pushed and bullied everyone. Scopely's answer was it's a pvp game. And i agree with them on that. When i came back i'd say at least a 3rd of my server quit in some capacity. 20 alliances are now 7. the event board for Rare Armadas only had 6 then 12 alliances out of 25 slots. Pvp banding should have been from the begining. not sure how scopely will fix it. They made their money not sure they worried people quitting by the boat load.
In the Naval forces, engineering and science line officers don't receive command of their own ship. Why not make it so that only Command officers can be used as captains?
When you "report" a user, give us a description block to say why.
Hey I would have two suggestions. it would be great if you could swap the older ships that are no longer needed within the fleet. furthermore it would be great if you could see in the combat log who the attacker is
@lost raft First you can click on your hanger to find how many ships you can have. Second older ships are usually at the bottom of the list when you swap ships cause they are the weakest. And third. Your inbox lower left hand is your combat log. they should rename it Inbox is misleading.
I still use my realta for base raids for giggles. so some older ships are still useful

More replicator events!! And a calendar for them! That would be SO useful in planning research, building upgrades and purchasing ship components. PLEASE! My suggestion is run 1 per week on a rotation.

I had an idea. If mining mondays come back😪 they could add another milestone with a bonus refine token. Can be saved or used as required. Just allows access to 1 bonus. May even help sell more dvor as they are best at scoring? What you think??
Can the game be a bit more balanced on the pvp side.... It's hopeless when a level 38 player can hit a player 10 levels lower. Can the combat be kept to 2 or 3 levels at the most 5 levels for pvp? @austere sand
Future feature... but take many months to get it right... introduce the borg... fight hostiles for part drops... all the different hostiles have different parts... then players assimilate the parts of their choosing into their own personal customized cube... would be an amazingly fun feature... but take lots of time programming it right...
My suggestion is that whoever came up with missions like this need to be terminated from their employment and beaten, this is a horrid trade off

How about daily “Quality of Life” updates for upper level players. They have for the most part invested time and $ into the Scopely machine. Throw them a bone and automate some of the dailies as they progress so people don’t have to spend 1-2 Hours a day trying to get them done. I realize you can’t really do all of them because of the real-time aspect of the game but a few other MMO’s do this as a reward for loyalty and investment.
Sorry if this has been asked already but how about the ability to scrap unused ships for lvl 3 mats and also trade in lvl 2 mats for lvl 3? I am level 36 and forget what a kumari even looks like let only used one in 10 months. It would help higher level players push past certain build walls that can only be completed by purchasing packs. I mean come on..2400 uncommon for 3 upgrades on one ship and 150 rares?!

Lower the daily reputation events. 30 million is ludicrous for consort. Favoured at 12 million is still too high without major base upgrades or wasting lots of resource tokens. Trying to get 20k for the Saladin becomes a far off pipe dream

Ive just been watching Star Trek TOS and thought of a new event/mission. The Troublesome Tribbles. They have gotten on to your base and the only way to get rid of them is to complete events and/or missions. What you think its player lvl specific so if you have to go against a ship its within your range. Any good ?
would be nice if they bring in pvp in armadas, 2 teams from diverent alliances against each other.

i am presently whittling down the dil from my last compat training .. and using 4h shields purhased from the alliance store in conjunction with the 8h shield provided by dailies. It is thus sustainable to have a neverending shield protection, if you only are around in time to set the next one when it is over. For those days when I'm not, I've saved the 1d maintenance shields, I have 7 of those ..
Petition to the players? for three weeks now no uncommon/rare dropped from refinery despite many many hours of wasted mining time. its high time scopley introduce a minimum guaranteed uc/rare drop rate per refine even a 4/1 uc /rare would be a step forward. calling on all players to stop buying packs until scopley listen

Had a great idea for a increase warp time on a ship by sacrificing shields down to 5% and staying at 5% till out of warp and then start recharging. Keeping in the way you can convert power to the warp drive in Star Trek.

Here a suggestion: More frequent Q&A with the Devs. There seems to be a break down between feedback provided and what actually makes it to developers. Suggestions I’ve seen made several times a n this forum seemed like the devs heard for first time during last q&a. Not sure if they just don’t look at feedback provided or not sure how much support each one has from gamers.
I know this game is free to play with no ads, so they make money off of in-game purchases. The biggest complaint is the pay wall and lack of free content. How about sponsored packs free to players. I mean I’m not gonna complain if McDonalds buys me and all the gamers a pack. I definitely don’t want a bunch of ads, but sponsored packs would seem to fit seamlessly into game. I’m curious what other players think.

Suggestion: turn off notifications for armadas or give players a settings option to control what is sent via push notification. I've had to use the OS to turn off all notifications. I now play WAY less.
Suggestion: Can we make the notifications in-game banner bigger since I can still see my Dilithium amounts? It's unfair for the rest of the resources to be hidden.

that's like a restart without a restart. I like turning my phone when in chat. at least I get back to playing faster .. well .. after all the queued up notifications process .. unless one of them get stuck too .. hopefully not the last one .. then I need to kill a few hostiles to queue up more notifications to have a queue to push the top one off the stack to get them stuk again .. oh wait am I talking in circles? Can't' see. notification in the way...
Serious suggestion though: Can we have the clear localization button as a standard button in the main screen? I hit that more often than I do any of the "Ships, Officers, Factions, Items, Refinery" buttons.
I think we are aproachiing a time when the devs need to make the main screen customizable. tray 1 currently has: Ships, Officers, Factions, Items, Refinery; tray 2 has: building progress, ship build progress (displayed if active), research progress; there are three buttons on the right that could easily be a custom target as well, events, gift chest, help+news
if we could choose what we wanted where, like keep tray 1, but permit the buttons to be added and removed so you could have your clear loalization cache there if you want, I'd be happy if ships went away, I press that so seldom I can easily get there from the shipyard in the station, would love to exchange it for a resarch button that takes me to pan around the research trees like clicking on the power level or R&D then clicking the blue research button in the lower left currently does
I'd even be ok if the corner with events/gift chest/help+news were turned into a 4 button panel .. and to enjoy hostile hunting and interaction w/out overlayed buttons would be awesome to have a toggle for fullscreen like you do when you manage ships and you want to pan around the ship in fullscreen

well, the reason the refinery button was added is because some people are `if it doesn't glow red as a number I don't know to do it' I can only guess. If others wanted to glance at research more readily, they might just figure out what's worth spending money on more readily .. If others want to stare at ships, that might get them to decide which ones they want to fund vs earn. Playing with a customizable ui empowers users to feel more in control of their gaming experience, enjoy the game more, and want to play even more.. I know I'd be happy for the 'Factions' button to show a number when I can buy more augment credits for example...
I am not marketing nore market research so I am left go guess what would actually help them earn more revenue. My thoughts tend to be more long term, as in .. give the players a fun bug free, customizable gaming experience and they'll point out how many different ways things are cool here. Bringing in more players. and some will spend money. I also think that if scopely were to do an app specific url, have been told it's called deep linking or somesuch, where 3rd party url's when clicked get handled by the app itself and then you get directed to a specific location in the galaxy just like in game chat or news .. that would spark a wide range of 3rd party investment and involvement centered around providing clickable links into the game. What do 3rd parties get out of the scenario? Ad revenue or specialized services that may charge for bits here and there, but they get nothing if they reduce the populartiy of the game. Therefore you have a mechanism that incentivizes 3rd parties to market for your game and promote your game .. which brings in more players whom have a chance of spending yet more money on the game... seems like income potential to me. But i'm not an expert just a random player with IT background and loads of ideas to share... 😉
Ce serait sympa de pouvoir faire des quêtes en groupe comme dans les Mmorpg du genre wow. Si on est au même niveau de quête, on ce regroupe et la quête avance pour ceux groupés. 5 max par groupe par exemple ce qui rendrait les combats contre les gros vaisseau plus facile et surtout donnerait un sens au travail d'équipe d'alliance. Un peut comme pour les armadas mais pour les quêtes.
it would be great if you guys would increase the number of targets in a system. as an example when your fighting swarms more of them would be nice. more pve's period.
Don't know if Scopely reads this thread but how about fixing the Franklin ship ability now that you fixed the swarms. That would be nice for a change. Franklin isnt much for pvp which I wouldn't expect it to. It's for swarms. I spent 40 bucks to get it and its worthless. If I could get my money back I would. I bought it to get my daily missions done. At level 17 my missions was to kill level 15 swarms and a few 17s. It really wasnt string enough for the 17s. The only way was to level up to 18 for the part needed. As soon as I did now my daily missions are level 18 and 19 swarms which is impossible for my Franklin. Its suppose to have a ship ability of 2600% against swarms. My attack is 4019. That means my attack should be 104,494 against swarms. I looked at my battle log and I'm hitting at 5084. So can y'all fix the Franklin so I can do my daily missions? Also I did the math. It would take me 5 months of hard grinding to get enough frequency modulators to upgrade. I need 12k per part. But we only get 1-5 modulators per kill. Think about that. We have to kill thousands and thousands of swarms to get just 1 part. This isnt even remotely feasible. And that's not including how many modulators we need for donation missions. It's not possible. The swarms need to give way more modulators per kill. At least the same amount we get for other resources from other hostiles.
Make it so when you press the target and attack button the ships lose target when the ships they're trying to hit change a certain degree off of the original course, that way it's more strategic, and makes the game more interactive and interesting
You keep reducing the number of swarms in systems. Rather than forcing players to spend money and move to higher levels your beginning to lose players.
Would like to pick and choose WHICH notifications I get outside of the game. WOULD like PM notifications. Would like to TURN OFF Armada notifications.
I think if you loosen up the slot machine a bit on the refinery it would help players not get game burn out . Nothing worse than mining all day to get a nice 12k then the carpet gets pulled out from ya when you get common on all three refinement Materials . Not used ship remove and release button add please. ship remove and release return back resource and parts 30~60% suggestion. Ship build time 25~50%, ship disassemble time. Two research add disassemble ship increase return resource, disassemble ship decrease time.

Also as a person not willing to buy into the game I've spent countless hours searching and doing missions to try and find blue prints for jelly Franklin and such and unless you buy it apparently isn't going to happen. :(
The Franklin is actually worthless, unless you're killing level 15 swarms. You can't get enough parts from killing swarms to keep your interest. So you'll get bored.
I do have one suggestion
The refinery, as I know you have seen this over and over. get the refining more realistic to game needs, or lower the game needs. you have 8 or 9 builds, researches and upgrades that need the same rss. Yyet the Refinery

only produces such a small amount that you will grow bored. As a player you won't pay into a game that won't keep your interest or that requires you to buy more than one pack to get SOME of what you need. Your ship, station, officer and research packs are not worth it.

Suggestion: It would be awesome to be able to trade the the faction ship bp's that drop from armada boxes for faction credits. It' very frustrating to get bp's for ships that I already have. Being able to trade them for the corresponding faction credits - even at a reduced exchange rate - would go some way to stopping me from throwing my device out the window. Thanks 😀
Stop adding new stuff and fix what is already broken or nerfed
- I’m missing an option to review all my ships. We can see the ships we don’t have, the ships we can build, but not the ships we already own.
- related to that: I want to view the details of my active ships. The Manage button is only available when a ship is home or traveling, but not when mining or tiering up. I want the manage button to always be there, so I can review my ships and plan ahead. Planning is important when you spend so much time waiting for things to complete
- it would be very nice if quests had some sort of difficulty indicator so I don’t have to open each quest, load the system and load the target to see if it is still too strong for me.
- it would be really nice if in galaxy there was a way to scan for quests that I have not yet discovered, periodically going to each of the systems one by one to see if something shows up is way too time consuming . In progress quests are visible, so the system to do it is already in place. Please add quests not yet in progress to this feature
Please make it possible to disable notifications for Armada formed for those who are not interested in those. The way it is now, the phone fills with alerts as the alliance is very active in armadas. It's all or nothing now, which is not enough. If you disable all notifications, you won't be alerted when someone raids you.
Station repairs available from space view please. I want to see my attackers while I repair. Also, is there really a reason to only repair 1 tower? Why not all with one click? They are cheap and it needs to be quick when under attack. That would make defense more entertaining.
