I am aware of that. But spending special currency isn’t, in my opinion, viable. You can spend lat on anything. Doesn’t make it a good system.
And you can’t farm lat any easier than ship parts.
It boils down to Scopely wanting us to spend money on every...single...aspect of this game. Does seem like a long term strat for a good game.

Special currency is most mobile games is used for people to speed up progress. In this game it’s more than that...it’s pretty much the only way to progress...technically I CAN farm the mats...but again, taking weeks for a single upgrade is crazy.

agreed, they do want you to spend. but there are ways around it. i've found that farmining latinum is much much easier than farming ship parts actually lol
you can earn between 100-200 a day depending on what level and events you have at the time.

At the very least make it so I don't get 3-4 over capacity notices for each hostile I kill... One is more than enough

We all know the feeling of having a captain with mining bonus for the wrong resource.
SUGGESTION... Change the refinery so that the smallest amount you can get is guaranteed and the bigger amounts are a chance ontop of them. So each refine you will get at least 1 rare 3 uncommon and 4 common g3, 5 uncommon and 180 common g2. This way players can know how long it will take to save up for a building upgrade or a ship upgrade and have a better informed choice of if the want to spend money on packs or not rather then being forced into it.
they dont have to give chances on the refinery because you cant buy raw ore with cash
so its not a lootbox per those laws

Can we please have the ability to switch crew on the ships without having to recall. It's so annoying when you have your crew optimised and then you refresh the mining node you are on and it changes to another type of RSS.

With the introduction of the loyalty token this would be a great help to those currently trying to fix their rep and those that are already dual faction to balance theirs

@nocturne lantern is there any chance of changing how the whole mining element works. I did a suggestion ages ago for it but been thinking more about it. Change the planets we put our bases onto so that they give res different level systems give different amounts but you get a constant flow of trit para and dil. Change all mines to G3 and G2 materials and have it so you get a mix in each faction space less Crystal and ore in fed,less Crystal and gas in rom and less gas and ore in Klingon but only those types of mines so you still have to mine for those. The constant flow of res would mean players can have more in their bases and when raided players raiding can get more from them as well
Separate the locate / recall buttons or revolt so that they stand out....

I'm thinking a lot more then just that mate I want to have it so I have to actually think about where I put my base. Like 1 planet will give me x but this planet will give me y. And with bases being constantly filled with res it will make base raiding more effective and happen more as players will always have loads of res

Need better packs! I would spend and have before if they have what I need. Special holiday packs would be good. Also why am I getting upgrade packs on d3 but cant get the ship? That sux. Let folks buy what they want. Its a win win

Please, for the love of all that is holy, limit the constant nagging of the cargo full notification to less than 100 times per minute. Seriously, it nags so much it is giving my pregnant wife a run for her money. <@&509691205798592532>
please please please consider varying the resources needed for upgrades at every level. This constant war over g3 gas nodes is getting very tiring for everyone. Crystal and Ore aren't much better but it's higher levels that require those and there are fewer of them. Gas is a HUGE bottleneck, no one can ever get enough because everyone is always fighting over it.
More nodes of all the g3 resources would be very welcome as well.
My suggestion would be to have different ship components require different resources: Ore for cargo bay, gas for engines and torpedoes, crystal for phasers etc. Same thing for different building types. This would significantly improve gameplay as it would remove the bottlenecks by having players spread out to different resource fields to get their upgrades.
Trading other materials for G3 will be a good start. We already can buy Raw G3 using faction points, but it is too expensive because@of the poor refinery rates (doesn’t count for daily???) - allow us to buy uncommon/rares. G2 => G3 in the refinery would be nice. Allow killing a player with unprotected cargo count towards mining missions.

I don't understand how the resource trading will actually happen. If people can just "gift" resources to other alliance members, that opens up the door to real money trading and we will start seeing spam bots gold sellers.
If instead it's literally trading resources for equivalent value, would it be taxed? If so then a level system for the building would make sense as it could reduce the tax.
What I picture happening is players creating alt accounts and getting a level 9 player on a 3* node so no one can hit them and then "trading" those resources to their main account.

I think the best solution would be for the level of the market to determine the type of tradeable resources. Gold seller type accounts are never high level because the time investment for leveling would make it not profitable for htem

one of the main reasons to spend money on this game is to be able to get stuff earlier than other players of the same level. If the market place limited resource trade by level of the market the devs could still make their sales and it would be less profitable for real money traders to attempt.
The market would still be an evaluable building because alliance members of opposing factions could still trade 3* with each other, but it would happen at an appropriate level.
Just spitballing ideas, but I think an ideal setup would be
lev 1 market place allows the trading of Parsteel
lev 7 allows trit
lev 10 Dilith
lev 15 2*
lev 20 3*
lev 25 3* uncommon
lev 30 3* rare
so you spend money to upgrade your market and would circumvent the purpose of the level restriction

I'm sure the devs probably already have a plan in place for it, I was just tossing out an idea that would give purpose to leveling up the market, limit the viability of real money trading, while still greatly benefiting the players and adding something new and exciting to the game.

Auto-kick a ship off a mine if it has been unmoved for a period of time. 10 hours sounds about right. This would stop people using things like a BB with massive PC sitting on non-data nodes all day.
lol and what's wrong with using a BB on a non-data mine? I do it overnight as it allows me not to go over protected cargo...
with the right set of officers it mines just as fast as the Envoy with the wrong set of officers...
actually it's 2100/hr vs. 2235/hr, and about 2K additional protected cargo, just enough not to get kicked off the mine before I wake up 😉

I would like to suggest some ideas about alliances. First of all, make an alliance station. That can be build at alliance lvl5+ this station can be placed in system(only one station in one system) this station will grand bonuses to all alliance member in this system! Depending on buildings in this station. Alliance leader can order to build building in alliance station and members need to bring resources to it. Station will have several different buildings like star cannon that grand bonuses to station attack power and ship power (in this system only) star shield to grant bonuses to shields. Safe cargo etc. this will give alliance more benefits and make game more alliance like.
Also this station will have command building where leader can make peace or war with other alliance. When alliance at war this station can be attack if station is destroyed all bonuses will be lost until station repaired.

Hi...please, introduce the possibility to sell the built extras ships to recover materials...even if would be nice if on Starbases and planets we'll find offers to buy ships blueprints with races credits and/or materials to exchange. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English
@rugged meadow the notifications in general - they kinda need their location adjusted or the ability to clear them or turn them off - they are constantly in the way.
Hey mates, i thought before accept general missions should write how much part, as sample divided path mission 7 split part mission but i dont see before accept. Then we choose first at least steps and doing easy

I really think it would help players when they are leveling up through the game if we could trade in a certain amount of common crystals to get uncommon crystal, it would be a good idea if players could trade in game so higher level players would help the lower level players.
Hey here's a wild idea: chaining together peace shields, kind of like repair speedups. I have a whole lot of 1 hour shields that I hardly ever use. Why shouldn't I be able to chain them together? Set up 8 1-hour shields to protect my station for 8 hours total?

I feel since you are all about the money it would help you to make more money and put more of your plans into action and fix these glitches in the game more frequently and efficiently and add more content like ships, storyline missions, more missions for the romulan, more G3 ore, G3 crystal, and G3 gas etc.
Also people of all in come levels will be able to pay for these packages more often.
@native terrace Agreed! The lower price general packs should not completely disappear. If someone can only afford $5. every so often, they have no options. Honestly, it would be good for business. A bunch of players buying an additional $5 pack every now and then is better than them not paying anything because $20 and $50 are beyond them!
Even if the packs for lower prices only repopulate weekly, or whenever, any $$ coming in is better than hoping you can get longer playing members to pony up the big bucks!

@dim charm best thing to do is send a ship first then send a miner behind it, the bounty hunters will attack the first ship & most likely your miner will be safe.
Not that, I mean the app will crash when I am nearby one of the hunters.
If someone kills you, we should get a random mission to track their base down. Maybe I need to pay off someone in the Orion Syndicate? Other times I need to steal an item from a Klingon trader? Random mission.
We need a better and lasting indicator that we're in a hostile system. Not just a one time glande and you miss it message. Also a better indicator of who's attacking you. Maybe a red target lock line coming from said ship. Make knowing you're about to be attacked easier!
@Devs any chance we could get a looting percentage modification? Someone of equal OPs level as me who works hard to crack my base, should get more than someone 6+ OPs level higher that doesn’t even break a sweat breaking my base open.

I think stations you can raid (raidable within your level) should be assigned a different color so you can see within a cluster of what stations to scan

To reduce griefing (hitting weak miners), please allow us to stack our attack ship to protect the miner like our ships do for our station.
How about saving a group of officers for ship, I mean I don't have to select and change officers every time, whereas I can simply change whole crew once by saved crew

I would like to see more control over officers. Maybe separate out the classes. Then I get to choose direction and decide I want, let's say I would prefer mining as a goal, I can then apply resources, including tokens into mining.

#💭-suggestions I would like to see Scopely change the concept of the Station to separate out the Refinery and create something like a “Loading Dock” that would only service Survey-class ships and would have a separate set of docks that would allow for more survey ships out mining at a single time. For example, the regular docks should be for fighter-class ships and we should be limited in those numbers, but for ships that mine, like the envoy and fortunate and horizon, those should be allowed to use the “Loading Dock” to offload and repair into the Refinery. It’s a concept that would need some thought into how you would restrict survey class ships like the NorthStar that are used in base raids and non-mining functions, but it allows for more growth for players who want to do more mining than PvP’ing.

Greetings :) I'm wondering about something; would it be possible to get a journal? -There are some missions, f ex, with unknown rewards; and as soon as you are done, they dissapear, and I don't even get a glimpse of what the reward was; Would have been very nice with a status report from finished missions, that I could watch afterwards. @sour sparrow You can seperate the classes; when you assign officers, you can choose to select from group,ship, class or strenght; then you get all surveys and miners together, all crews that belong together, are lined up together, if you choose to sort by group. Works very good. :)

@nocturne lantern I find the officer recruitment random and I would prefer to have some further control over the process. I was thinking a further breakdown (other than common, rare ,etc.) would be possibly class. Are specifically was thinking about minors and how they could be sorted out from other recruits to give you a definitive direction.
-I did, and I'm a bit dissapointed that alot of them has gone to waste, because of bugs, like ships freesing, wrong timing, and other things, in mid raiding or other situations where you need to quickly repair. -Is there any possible place or way to get compensates for rss lost,. because of bugs? Can I make a suggestion? Fix the in game notifications or stop them from blocking other UI elements.
"One of your ships has reached cargo capacity" spamming constantly isn't helpful, and having to wait for them to all finish in order to reliably access other functions is an utter annoyance.
@sour sparrow I agree; this would also be solved by having a preset option, with saved crews; then you only need to find them once, and save them yourself, along with the other crew members you wish to use with them)

Bit chances are lower for other officers, I still have yet to get a full rare officer from a ultra recruit chest, with at least 12 or 13 opened by now
<@&509690795536941056> regarding the annoying notifications (cargo is full , kumari killed xyz , you are place icantreadthatfast in the event , ... ) : maybe the developers could remove the more or less unimportant notfication-popups at the top of the screen (and in front of everything regardless which gamescreen you are looking at) and put all those messages into a 3rd tab "notification" in the ingame-mail section (where the tab with battlelogs is located). so no popup, no lag with the popup, but still the info if you want to look at it. (maybe the last 50 messages... and while at it please increase the number of battlelogs to at least 50. )

An idea: remove annoying popups, especially this one because we can already see that our cargo is full by just looking at the ship. I know this suggestion has been made before, but as nothing has been done we need to nag about it. No need to add anything to the game; just remove the popup!

@vast halo @dusky rock ye have the ear of the devs, please make them remove the really really annoying notification popups when cargo is full. also while you talking to them ask them to allow player view our own cargo hold contents -click on cargo icon and it shows what is in the ship similar to when you hit view cargo when scanning a ship. Also when you click on the three rss counters (top right) show what is protected in brackets) and when scanning a base only show what is not protected
Here's a idea instead of giving me officers xp in my recruiting chests for characters I have maxed out how about u put in new characters that r in the game like arguments or a bunch of others that r not available in regular recruiting chests. Pretty annoying when opening a bunch of chest an lose more then half to xp
Or just take them out all together so I can get shards for the characters I don't have maxed yet
@wanton sluice with how the mining is a huge part of the game you should definitely be able to do it more the we do. Having to make a choice of battleship or miner for a dock shouldn't be part of the game when you need to be mining 24/7
@fluid onyx I like the extra XP it means I can get more to be able to use on my officers that need levelling up if the drop of so was more then if agree with you but getting an extra 1k helps
I have 1000s of Parts for upgrading tier 1 and 2 ships, like everyone else. Also ship that will never get used again. Why not make an exchange to Trade them for highervtier parts.
For example, 3x Tier1 parts get you 1 Tier 2 part. 3x Tier 2 parts get you 1 tier 3 part. Scrap a ship and get parts back. This way we dont all have 1000s of parts just sitting there
Idea to help miners and pirates
- Allow us to protect our miner like we do our station with other ships
- When the node is zero’d, have all the ship(s) pop off after 5 min.
People may actually start mining past their Protected limits. Pirates will love this.
Griefers who mass kill will hate this.
@tired horizon I got 286/30 Envoy blueprints. If I could trade them in (or build the ship and then trade in), it would be great! I need Survey 2 parts like crazy for my BB. @Level 24 I no longer get 2-star Survey parts. Grinding 1000 parts is terrible.
Miners who forget or don’t want to wake up at 3am in the middle of their sleep to reset a ship will like the 5-min auto pop.
Please consider allowing Alliance members to push their own alliance member off a node. One time I asked a guy doing his dailies to kill my own alliance leader who was on a zero node in faction space.

How about dropping the level requirement for the Market from a 50 down to 20-25 so that it can be used to trade?

@civic comet I've been playing this game since day one. All my regular Kirk crew is maxed out. An I have characters that I don't have a single shard for cuz they r not in any of the chests. Would be nice to have them put in instead of xp. I don't spend money been free to play an have stockpile of xp waiting to be used
@fluid onyx that's good for you but there are a lot of players not I'm the same boat as you with a stockpile of xp. If they made it so the xp from the chest was better then it is I'd agree with you but at the moment to get extra xp every now and again is good for me and properly others as well. I do agree all the characters should be in the chests though
@civic comet it took along time to get where I'm at months of grinding. I get all my xp from separatist 22 I have for months since the last time they held this event

So what do you guys think if we could protect our miners using our attack ships like we do our bases?
Please consider us to be able to rearrange our officers on THAT ship that is not docked. So many times I have to send my miner back to base because I have the wrong officer, especially for systems where nodes flip.

I set off in my car to go on a long journey. I realise a short way into my journey I forgot my bag. I turn around and go back and get it. How bloody hard is it to divert your ship back to base to swap miners? Swap ship? Just recall because your base is under attack?
For some unknown reason this is an impossibility in this game.

Why is g3 uncommon so damn hard to get.

Can we please limit level 14 ships from going into star 3 nodes and territories. It's so frustrating that a level 24 cant boot a 14 off a 0 node for a star 3 mine.

Can we have an option to use blueprint to upgrade the ship we have built already instead of me having 2 jellys? Maybe bring it up from a 2 star to a 3 star and etc? Be nice to look forward to instead stashing them in a garage.
Ideas for more variety:
- Add instanced missions (e.g. call of duty - zombies style where you see how many waves of enemies you can clear or avoid to survive for X minutes).
- Add location specific npcs or missions (e.g. go to X planet to scrap old ships)
- Let us use (with rss not money you greedy sobs) spies or some other mission to buy faction rep (but limit to only helping when your faction rep is negative so we don’t lose balance)

I would love to have a better management of the mission log, especially a "do mission later" feature. I find my mission list full of missions that I won't be able to complete for another 3 levels, and missions that require to kill a target with 101k power, while my strongest ship is 10k. This just makes the mission log useless.
Have the ability to run piece shields consecutive instead of losing time if another one is selected. Keep the aspect of losing shield if attacking someone. Advantage: If I put on a 4 hour shield and either need to go somewhere or even to bed and I have, say, 2.25 hrs left, I can add the 8 hour for 10.25 hrs of piece of mind. I know there are higher times, but that is not the point. Disadvantaged: None, because you lose whatever time you put on, being a 1, 4, 8, 12, 1 day, 3 day, or 7 day, if you attack someone you lose it anyway. The hours are still the same, be it, one shield or multiple consecutive shields.

I'm not sure if this has been introduced yet or not, but it's quite brilliant and should be fairly easy to implement.
Ideas have been getting tossed around about sharing alliance resources. The simplest way to do this would be to use the Contributions tab and Alliance Store Tab. Contributions, instead of just being spent to level the alliance, would go to a Fund. Contributions would still work the way they do now as well. The Admiral and all commodores would have access to view how much is in the coffers. This would be the hardest part of implementing this as you would likely have to make a new screen for it.
When an alliance member is in need of funds, he can go to the alliance store and purchase these funds from the alliance coffers using alliance tokens. These purchases reset once daily regardless of what level of purchase you make. Separate purchases for each resource, Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium, and Latinum. Small purchases may be just a few tokens, while large purchases will require more. As level rises, so do the amounts rewarded from the purchase.
Here's a good idea of how i would break down the store.
At level 15:
10 tokens buys 25 Tokens Buys 100 tokens Buys
50K Parsteel 200K Parsteel 1M Parsteel
20K Tritanium 80K Tritanium 400K Tritanium
5K Dilithium 20K Dilithium 100K Dilithium
At level 20:

Is it possible to make it so we can trade old smaller ships we no longer use for resources or shards of new ships?
Here's a idea I'm lvl25 an still getting grade 2 ship parts in my 10min 4hr an 24hr chests. What is the point of giving me these parts when all I'm building is grade3 ships
Something I was mentioning to our alliance just now. This could be a great addition to the game and really turn the gameplay on its head with some unique capabilities and game mechanics. To even things out, make it possible to take out a Borg collective by putting them in hibernation or throttling back player or alliance (AKA collective) capabilities for a temporary period of time (to balance the game mechanics with the Borg’s assimilation capability). Fun idea.
I think that the loyalty 30 day crate should be buffed. As it is, to get it you need to play about an hour to an hour and a half a day and maybe the use of some speed ups (probably around 2hours of speedups) to complete it on one day. Since you need to do this 30 times, it would seem that the reward would have to be great. The reward is moderate but it just doesn’t feel right. At least 30 hours of play, over the course of a month, should merit a great reward. It just feels kind of weak in its current state. Increasing the latinum or ultra recruit tokens could give it the needed buff in my opinion

We need more level 3 Mines Gas, Ore, Crystal. The game is becoming battle over limited resorse, and its becoming less fun because of this.
lucky you on my server the holy trinity alliance made an idiotic rule to occupy only if the mine is at zero or has cargo, no bumping .. that's a game killer

After you repair your base, the auto defense bubble should be reset so it goes up the next time you get hit.
If the mining node is at 0 - anybody should be able to attack to reset the node
maybe if the level delta is too much, it only does partial damage, but still send the ship home

@nocturne lantern I would also say you should be able to swap crew between ships when they are in proximity (transporters, duh). That way, you can have a miner on a node, and send a ship with alternate crew to swap with them, without having to swap the actual ships.

Am I the only one who gets hacked right off with lvl 14 or lower players sitting on 3nodes? They don't even need the 3 materials at that level.
Scopely screwed up and gave them access to Faction daily quests WAY TOO EARLY.
This results in them having daily quests to go farm 3* mats that they won't need for weeks/months
It also means their rep gets so high with Feds that they can't possibly complete their dailies, except for the mining, and only if they sit on the same node for MANY HOURS every day.
TLDR Scopely screwed up -- the 14s are just doing what the screwed up Scopely daily mission told them to do.
Probably been mentioned but a trade system between players not just in your own alliance but the whole server?
It's good to build them all up before you hit level 20 and start to use them them wish I had built up more Crystal and ore before I went to level 20
@harsh oxide sometimes low levels will take g3 on servers that dont have a mining policy ... like mine, though i have been told that some of the top alliances are starting to adhere to an agreement ... 6 months after fking everyone over. Dont think that adopting rules to suit themselves now is going to make anyone forget what complete wallets they were before.

I know it has been said already, but scanning a base should only show resources that are not protected in vaults, just like a ship that is over capacity.
Dumb idea: May have been brought up before, displayed with our name is the federation logo. It’s the same for all of us which makes it redundant. Would it be possible to make that a user configurable avatar? I know storing a ton of user uploaded images may not be desired but many of us would be happy to link to a hosted image on our own servers or on services like imgur or some thing similar.
@manic reef allowing users to upload images would just result in a huge number of phallic symbols instead of the 1 boring fed symbol.
Customization would be cool, I agree, but not by letting users upload their own stuff IMO.
For reference search for Nintendo's work on AI detecting phallic symbols they had to build for the Wii. It took them many months of GOOD devs working on it -- something Scopely clearly isn't capable of doing.

I think we need to be able to assign crew to Station. For extra protection while we have ships out either mining or hitting our bases.

Having the ability to cancel Warp. Do what they did in world of Warcraft and whatever the next system is in the trip the ship would drop out of Warp allowing the player to change its course.
Make it so players can't leave an alliance for 24hrs after joining and when they leave they Have to wait 24hrs before being able to join a new one. We are at war with one alliance and their players have been in 12 different alliances in the last 24hrs they are still attacking us but with a different alliance tag. It makes it harder to find them if they are running to different alliances

They need to open the galaxy tab in the research area to things like warp range, warp speed, refinery bonus's, and unlock the exchange, i think the exchange will make a whole new level of play for some, u can sell things for lat or rss and buy things for lat or rss a predefined amount

We need an anti-Harrison officer. Right now, put him on a Saladin, and no matter what you are driving, you are dead. Those two mega cannons are murder - particularly for the ships designed to counter the Saladin - the Centurion is particularly hard hit.
Here are the basic stats I think would make sense for an anti-Harrison.
Admiral Marcus
Captain ability: In Defense of Humanity - For the first round of combat, Shield strength and deflection is increased by 300% (for example)
Officer ability: Whatever it takes - XX% chance to increase the fire rate of the weapons on the ship
Stats should at least be comparable to Harrison, but given that we are talking about an Admiral, he should be Epic and in the same league as Kirk or Nero.
There needs to be limits on being attacked by higher level players. I am currently lvl 20 and my ships have been attacked by lvl 26 and up players. This is totally unfair and impossible to defend against. Im sure that someone will read this and make some comments that im whining about it. In some ways i am. But when the person attacking me overpowers me by over 500% in some cases that is broken!
Another thing i have noticed is that for romulan players there are not enough 3* ore nodes...again the higher players take them all of the time. I have been unable to get mining dailys completed for weeks now. Something has to be done about this.
How about low end packs. I hate being forced 2 buy high end packs which I can't afford🤔 😭 😡
It's just psychological that I would buy a low end pack that would eventually add up 2 a high end 1 but hey...😂

@austere sand Devs, I have to keep asking so maybe everyone will benefit. My suggestions is again... as you get past level 25, the requirements for uncommon and rare rss skyrocket. The the offered packages do not offer any help unless you’re willing to fork over $100-300. Then you see some adjustment to help you get close, but it’s not enough and it is filled with so much G2 materials that you don’t need. Doesn’t It make sense to offer G3 specific packs, like the ones offered during the separatist events, or RSS specific packs? Originally, The Parsteel, tri and dilithium sets used to be set up to both buy and cash in coins. That changed. Why? Why not set up a G3 ore or Crystal or gas, with a definite ratio of rate and uncommon? You had them available at the higher levels in the Khan event. Make them generally available to everyone at or above 25. What the refinery gives out is ludicrous. Ship specific packs would be nice, like tier up Vahklas or whatever ship is in your hanger.
I’d like to get to level 50 without having to spend so much that it becomes prohibitive. Resource specific or ship specific. Now you can enhance your bottom line because we will buy these specific packs more.
In the alliance page it would be nice to be able to see when a player has last logged in!
@swift coral As a higher lvl player, I can tell you why that is happening. Repair times are insane. If we want to keep playing, we have to attack far weaker players to avoid taking too much damage. Were the repair times not the product of a drug-induced hallucination, stronger players would attack each other instead of bothering you.

@nocturne lantern better idea would be make the planet you are on give you trit para and dil at different rates per system and planet and turn all current mines to g3 and g2 only depending if in faction or neutral space. Players bases will be constantly flowing with res so more to raid and players can then spend more time doing PvP rather then spending time mining

Apparently lvl 22 can be attacked by someone upto lvl 33 but I can only attack as low as 17

@vocal sandal I have even more, but I can do the math. They are depleting if I fight stronger players. I need them for raids and events. For regular gameplay I avoid targets that make me spend them unless the reward is significant.
Well obviously there is a cost efficiency factor, but the difference in repair time is negligible if I attack a lvl19 or a lvl24 base as long as no ships are in

Lol I can kill over 60 lvl 30s in one go, with a mix of some 31s it ends up being 5 runs with 3hr repairs in between
One in the morning, one around lunch, one after work and 2 more in the evening so I usually use maybe 1-2hrs of speedups there
if i could do 36s for 20 points i would probably use 4 or 5 hulls. 36s are usually extinct so i do mostly 37s, about 15 or 20 hulls
so that would be about 90 hours of repairs a day.
still, ill take these last 2 events over the crap before any day

I would really like the ability for all Officers on a ship to be able to change spots. I may have set up for mining and am on the other side of the galaxy from my base when I stumble across the need to set up for battle. I shouldn't have to make a round trip just to change my officers if they are all on the ship.
I would also like the ability for 2 ships to exchange crew. If two of my ships could 'dock' together and swap crew, that would be awesome.

Ok so everyone agrees that the refinery is not yielding enough refined resources. My question and suggestion is why can’t the duration of cool down be reduced as the level of the refinery is increased with the level of the building and the level of the user. A small percentage like 10 percent when above level 20 and stopping at a certain maximum time example 3 or 4 hours. Meaning at each level above level 20 the time will reduce about 5 percent of the total time from 10 hours and stop when it is at 3 hours. Giving a chance to refine more frequently and accumulate the items needed for levels that require a lot more resources to upgrade and do research.
id prefer that the refinery gave small amount of guaranteed mats per refine, plus teh random amount
although tbh, the 2* refines seem to give the right amount of uncommon to keep going up without issue
so perhaps they should just give the same chances to 3* that they give to 2*
and increase the chance of rare - as no rare in 2*
I would like to see the protected status on the cargo bar, since you can’t look at your ship details while mining. If the bar starts green, but changes to red one you are over the protected lvl would allow us to better gauge when to swap ships.
@orchid wigeon there is a work around. while mining, scan a hostile or pvp player in the system. when the comparison screen comes up, hit the little i in the middle. that's information. shows all stats. then scroll your ship to the bottom. same stats as ship management.
You need to change the levels that can attack each other. It’s ridiculous that a level 32 can attack a level 22. It is literally impossible to defend against or do anything about. I’m not going to keep playing if this is the way things are going to continue to be. @austere sand
As an admiral it would be nice to look at the roster and see which players are online.
It would also be a nice feature if you could rendezvous with another one of your ships and exchange personnel instead of both ships having to return to your base.
I’d love to see a “captain’s log” who left the alliance, who hasn’t been online, maybe some bookmarks for systems...stuff like that.

Scopely, I think it’s time for you open up some of the higher warp systems that have g3 mining nodes to include some station slots . Also, add some more g3 nodes to systems that have all of three or less in them. All it takes is a little coding. Especially if you continue to put on grueling mining events.
How can a lvl 32 attack a 22 but a 24 cant attack a 17. What kinda math is that, common core? If the gap limit is lower at lower level, then the gap should be the same at high levels. Let the 31's tear each other up, not go and pick on the smaller guys that refuse to spend thousands of dollars on a game
Make it so i can tier up more then one ship at a time. Seems dumb to have docks but can only tier up 1 ship at a time. Same can be said about repairing 1 ship at a time too

It would be super helpful if when you scanned a base, the only resources you saw were the ones not protected and therefore able to be obtained during a raid.

I have always been bothered by the fact that you have to stop mining to view the management screen of a ship. The only way thus far is to select a different ship that you can view and then use the side arrows, but what if all ships are mining? I know ships under repair can be selected in the exterior view of the base, but still no alternative for mining ships to view their xp and details.
I propose that since the display on the left may not always have room for manage ship button, you enable a long tap or double tap option on the docking port icons in the bottom center that opens the ship management screen for that ship. This will take up no more screen space and you won't even have to create new GUI elements. Just utilize a built in event of most GUI objects.
The refinery needs to be changed to a similar system as the augmented faction store. You collect a set amount of resources for a set amount of refined resource type. You could even stage it, initial only common, use common to get uncommon and uncommon to get rare. That way you can work to a fixed amount and not have this batch lottery.
You collect, para, trit and dil 1:1 and use it such, why should grade 2/3/4 material be any different? It would be easy to implement.
If devs took a look on here the game would be waaaay better

@vast halo @austere sand Suggestion - Given the many annoyances of parked miners (Level 14 on G3 Resources) on empty mining nodes... It would be cool if there was a 5 minute timer on sitting on a 0 node. At the end of 5 minutes, said ship leaves the node or goes home. This way, less frustrated other players looking at a node they can't take and can't do anything about it because of weird L14s in places that should be technically out of their range.
5 minutes should be more than enough time for other players to 'change up' for a node too if they are guarding it for their survey ship coming in, or they should have been prepared to bring one within 5 minutes. For the Level 14s who go AFK for literal hours or days... It frees it up so it is not pissing off other players because the node is not only 0, but barely anyone can do anything about it cause it just sits there like that.
Can we get a Epic Mining Capt that has both protected and cargo cap to them? possibly as a secondary activates capt abilites of the other two officers for like mining purpouses

So best idea ever @austere sand a great way to work in the Klingon and romulan cloaking device is if every system was shrouded unless you had a line of sight in the system aka a ship or base, this way those factions could be not seen unless doing combat and they could do surveillance on other players without them knowing about it so unless those ships are in combat, they are cloaked and unseen

Suggestion 1: Change how ship tracking follows a target while going in for an attack. Currently if your target changes course your ship redirects to their new destination. If your ship arrives first it just sits and waits. This makes it too easy to avoid an incoming attacks. It would be more realistic if your ship would set an intercept course and cut them off before they reach their destination.
Suggestion 2: Allow refining of specific tier of resources for a increased amount of the resource. Similar to how you can pay double to do 2 batches at a time. It would be nice to be able to pay more for guaranteed uncommon or rare material. If the randomness of the process is important, it could provide a random number of those resources.

@austere sand - the major frustrations in the game are zero nodes and miners keeping nodes for a number of cycles. Both of these could be fixed by having mines disappear when zeroed and refreshing in a different spot. Means miner does not have to be hit to reset mine and mine is free for others to claim.
That sounds like a great idea. Another good one would be to have the miner autmatically kicked off the mine when it reaches zero, just like how ships get bounced when they warp to an occupied mine.

Ship enhancement idea: Allow players to loan their ship to a pool in the alliance for a defined period of time (for a resource cost).
- Player loaning ship would not have access to the ship while it is in the alliance pool (useful for when sleeping).
- Owner of ship could recall and reclaim before end of period for a resource cost.
- Player in alliance borrowing the ship would book it out for a defined period for a fee and use it to temporarily increase power for protection, hits, etc (again for a resource fee).
Benefits: - Would also allow lower players to get some experience with nicer ships and possibly be encouraged to grow in the game.
- Any damage incurred to the ship would need to be repaired at the borrower’s expense.
- Ship XP earned while on loan would be shared 50/50 between ship owner and borrower.
Ship would need to repaired once returned to the pool. If borrower is out of resources to repair and ship is still available for loan the next borrower could speed up repair...or the owner would have to repair when load period expires or the owner reclaims the ship prior to the end of the ship loan period.

I was thinking of how we all have time away from the game and our lower players struggle to make dailies, or defend their bases, etc. I agree about earning our power but am fine with others borrowing my ship for a fee. Maybe I get all the XP for the hits with me ship and the borrower gets all the damage. And had to repair and ship damage at their expense. They would not be allowed to change the crew but could upgrade my ship, if they wanted to spend their resources.

Can we make it so there is a 3-5 second delay before an attack activates? That little red flash on the ship icon is meaningless because everyone gets around it by parking right next to you before attacking so you never have any warning. IT would be extremely helpful if there was a delay in the attack so that the warning would actually serve a purpose and we could actually have time to react to it.
I know everybody has suggestions about missions. How about a button you could click that would reset the mission - taking it off your list. That way, the ones you get at hq 15, where they want you to kill a 2m power ship, you could take out of your inventory.
@austere sand @vast halo my alliance and also most of the members of my server have been discussing how alliance members cannot trade with one another.
Now withington your home base is the "Market" however it is not unlocked until level 50!!!! Everyone I have spoken to to agrees this is unnecessarily high, considering I have been playin since before Christmas, have not spent any money and am only a few days away from operrations level 28.
This being the case, I emplore you to update the game so as to enable this feature at a much lower level...say level 18 or 20 when alliance members will really start to need resources more and can assist if in surplus?

Was wondering if we can get the option to change course or recall during warp. It’s really annoying when you launch a ship on a 5 minute journey just to realize you forgot to change the officer lineup.
We need more information on the alliance screen. Things like, when did players last log in.....how much power they've gained......all members being mailed about incoming attacks on members. As it stands, we have no clue who is still active, how they are performing.....nothing.

@austere sand you guys really need to balance the requirements of uncommon materials in things. I'm not talking about the numbers themselves, but the type. So many more things require crystal!! Everything!! Docks require it, most research requires it, the shipyard requires a ton of it, not to mention the Northstar and horizons and probably the faction surveys as well! Also the two most effective ships, interceptor and battleship, both require it. It's way too many things. I have over 1k uncommon gas that I'm sure I'll never use because not a single ship I use require it. And I'm not gonna build a crappy explorer just to use it. Please look into this.
Why not put in more mines. Across many systems. Is there only one in klingon? Seems like all stuff is Augment or Federation. The only system w crystal in klingon has 3-4 mines. Really?
Hello I suggest fixing the quest list. Can you organize it by difficulty depending on player power? I have to shuffle all the list and see what I can do and can't by clicking on each quest. Its annoying.

Hello, I would like to suggest other possibilities to change crew positions, not just in home base after ships are repaired. We shoul de able to shuffle between tem ship's existing crew at any time when outside home base. It does not make sense to go back all the way to home base just to change one position for other in the current ship's crew team.

Hey. So now that we've acknowledged that the botany bay is allowed to mine extremely fast, can we do a pass on mining steel/trit/dil? My proposal: change the ship bonus on the fortunate, envoy and horizon to all bonus steel/trit/dil collection. Balance them to botany bay mining rates in yarda based on teir/level. This would make mining these materials quick enough to be a realistic path of progression

Northstar is a mining ship but has very low capacity for cargo 3000. This is just disappointment. Please increase the cargo capacity

@austere sand The north star orginally was to help you get more uncommon materials refined from the refinery. It does not do that. It mines but has a ridiculously low amount of cargo space, bump the cargo to 200k and protected to at least 20k. It's worthless for a miner, but great for cracking bases and annoying people with hits. Scopely needs to do something with this ship. If not, at least increase the warp capability of the horizon to match or go further than the NS.
It would be nice to see your stations storage levels and protected limit. Like you can on ships.
Would be nice if someone fixed the OP Saladin so other interceptors could at least compete with it.
The biggest feature of online games missing in this game is BOOKMARK FRIENDS. It is very difficult (even impossible) searching/communicating to players specially those who are not talkative in GC nor in top 100 alliance.

The Northstar needs some serious nerfing. i'm all for giving it more cargo space IF its combat ability gets severely hampered. Make it what it was supposed to be, a survey ship not a dreadnaught with a mining laser.

Couple suggestions.One has been voiced several times: bookmarks. I’d like to add to the bookmark of being able to add a useful description for finding later (aka **Gas or so and so’s base). The other suggested

I agree with others on being able to sell ships and having bookmarks. I would also like to see better details during battle. For example: Have details like in your advertisement battles. “Up close with high ship details.”
Lower Costs for ships, I'm level 21 and find myself using my phindra for hunting miners over the limit, because the kehra costs too much to run, 22k trit and 1.3k dilithium per full repair is expensive, and not really worth it, I hit over the top miners to gain profit, not lose rss

Since you may not get around to fixing whatever causes chat stop receiving and in came notifications at the top of the screen to stop rolling in, how about giving us a tool we can use to detect sooner rather than later when we are experiencing a failure, especially in the middle of the night when people aren't chatty anyways. I would like the server to send the system time to every Global and Alliance Chat every 5 minutes using a colored background (green perhaps) like you do when you alert us of the server being shut down for maintenance. This tool would also help with proving the time when a message was sent when taking a screen shot though putting up the actual system time on each message would be preferred for that as well.
At this time, I have to send a message just to see if I can see it when I close chat (top of the screen) and reopen it again. If not, I know I have to reboot. The automatic clock mixed with the chat conversations would be useful still.

Add tractor beams to ships. Function is to move or hold other ships.
- Alliance members could move each other on and off zero node resources 2) use it to hold hostiles or other players’ craft stationary.
Require several conditions be met for effectiveness: one against one only reduces impulse speed to some small percentage 1 to 5% based on whatever ship attributes effect tractor beam effectiveness.
To move or stop takes as many ships that have twice the combined tractor beam power as the level of the held/moved ship.
Allow the tractor beam to work on ships owned by under lvl 15 op owners that park on zero node resource mines
Suggestion: in the elite packages beginning at lvl 28 the 20 2 Star materials should be replaced by 1 three star rare material. Also in the elite packages the trit should be increased from 200k to 500k.
I recently went on a all day station raiding The amount of dead stations was amazing you are losing players faster than you are getting them . Many of them are leaving because it’s impossible to get anywheres without buying packs. You are also losing strong players because of lack of content and cost to upgrade ver few players can mine or afford the 10 thousand dollars it would take to get to level 40
On a good note the hostile event and faction events were great atleast for me and my North Star

It seems wasteful to have all the ships we no longer use sitting in hangers. I’d like the ability to send them off on some sort of exploration missions, even if it’s limited so that it’s not all of them. They could be something timed where they come back with materials. Or it could be something like the longer they’re away before we recall them, the greater the reward, but also the greater chance of being defeated and returning with nothing. This would make it feel more like we’re truly commanding fleets without giving us more ships to manage manually.
Maybe if we get rid of the haters then we’ll see sunshine and moonbeams 😂😂😂👍👍

On our server, grief players hitting empty miners repeatedly on 3* nodes are causing people to quit in droves. Please put a timer on grief players who are simply hitting empty miners on nodes.
Scopley, in case you can't comprehend, YOU ARE LOSING MONEY PAYING CUSTOMERS
Adding a 5 second delay on all player vs player attacks would go a long way towards solving this issue. Not only would it give players a chance to save their miners from griefers but it would also slow down the daily system wipes of miners so that a defense could actually be mounted.
And it would give that little flash warning on ship icons a chance to actually be useful
everyone bypasses that little warning by just passing or parking as close as possible to their target before they attack so there's no chance to notice the alert and react.
Adjust the leveling in regards to pvp. I along with many in the game feel that it is not fair that a lvl33 player can attack someone 8 to 10 lvls below them. There should be plenty of high lvl players within the game that they no longer should get this "advantage ". I know this a pvp/pve game but there still needs to be better balancing in this regard.

Change the flash warning of attack incoming to just stay flashing. Once it's easy to miss, continuous is a lot easier to see!
1- Refinery cooldown is way too long. I have millions of raw g3 crystal, ore and gas that cannot be refined effectively due to very long cooldowns. Should be every 4 hours if keeping same drop rate. More progress equals happy players
2- Refinery drop rate is ridiculously low. Even a 1% increase in drop rate for all uncommon refined would vastly improve player morale. More progress equals happy players
3- Cost of upgrading buildings and ships is criminal. I have not built a building in a month due to needing uncommons. See #2 above. Meanwhile I have millions of parsteel just sitting there forcing me to shield 24/7. More progress equals happy players
4- G3 RSS should not be needed for everything. The descriptions clearly say for upgrading ships. Perfect. But needing g3 RSS for ships, buildings and research is a kick in the teeth. That forces us to choose, adding literally months to progress even slightly. If players are not progressing, they will stop playing. See #3 as well.
5- Completely remove g2 RSS and 2* ship parts from packs. At present 100$ pack gets me 50% value since most of the items in the pack are useless g2 RSS and 2* ship parts. Anyone past lvl 20 no longer needs g2 and 2* items.
6- Stop moving the goal posts for event rewards. At lvl 24 I needed 1.5 mil for the first reward tier of daily Klingon loyalty event. At lvl 25 I need 3.2 mil. Instead of the current method, add a tier. That way players are rewarded at the same rate.
7- More pack price points. Packs simply are too expensive and only 50% of contents is usable. See #5. Out of 25 packs available to me 17 cost 99$. Personally I am willing to buy 4 packs at 20$ vs 1 pack at 99$.
The game is literally no fun. All I am able to do at present is grind reds and mine. There is no progression due to the refinery.

I fill out each and every survey when offered. And always give the same replies. I always say dissatisfied because I actually am dissatisfied. Today is the first day I have not actually played the game other than to push "refine" and get the same crappy results. Maybe in a month I will have enough uncommons to upgrade one thing. There is no fun in that. My time in game now will go from several hours per day to maybe 15 min per day. So thank you nopely for giving my my life back. And saving me money.
How about instead of a 'ZZ' graphic for a ship in open space currently not performing an action, we have a 🌐, star⭐, or shuttle icon to indicate the vessel is deployed and among the stars or in the galaxy?
These changing nodes make no sense. Especially changing from dili to three star and back. It takes for ages to empty a 14k Dili mine. So suggestion: if we must have changing nodes make them at least change only between basic resources and 3star resources.

Improve the cargo cap and protected on northstar... makes absolutely no sense how a grade 2 ship can blow this grade 3 ship out for cargo, I'd like to build a 2nd Northstar but this is holding me back big time..
@tame hill northstar is like a place holder for an actual mining ship or use it for popping hostiles but even then the hold is so low that your heading back to base to unload and go back.

Well at T5 I have 300k cargo bay and can one-shot bases up to ~250K power (lvls 19-21, sometimes higher)
And it mines 3* faster than an envoy

Idea: increase cargo capacity on the NS since it gives you no better chances at getting g3 uncommon. Increase warp distance across all levels for the horizon, since it is an expensive g3 survey ship and most people cant spend thousands of dollars on a faction survey ship.

Paraphrase of help response... NS “gives greater chance “ by mining g3 faster than envoy to allow you to waste more raw g3 per refine by using the larger number of batches. Does not alter the chances per batch.
Has a sub system been talked about? this game could do well with one that helps with times and recourses. I know I will get blow back on the idea but I would be okay with a monthly buy then spot buying

I am happy that some of the events are getting better rewards and let you kinda choose how to spend your winnings. That's a little better, but nothing replaces a refinery that works like it used to.
I think they need the change the common rescouses. Why mine them when you have to put your base onto a planet? Make it so you can put one of the 3 normal mining officers on the base it gives you a boost of that res from the planet you are on but you collect the other 2 at a lower rate. It will fill the station up meaning more res for base raiding and more res to be able to do upgrades
your base is not ON a planet, but in a fixed orbit AROUND it
also be glad system view is static, and does not account for the rotation around it's sun, or it's own planetary rotation, you would need to find your planet all the time 😛

I know you are adding space to the battle log tomorrow, but I have another suggestion - combining similar battle logs. When the same player attacks your base multiple times, or you kill multiple similar hostiles back to back, combine the logs saying 3 attacks on base, then break down details in the drill down.
This would help save lots of space in the log, as most players tend to farm a lot in a single area, bases are usually hit a few times, etc.
Also - to expand on @civic comet idea - we should have at least 3 crew positions for the base as well. Use a variation of the captain abilities to strengthen the base, increase resource production, reduce repair times, maybe reduce build, research, refining cooldown times. I realize this would probably require adding stats and info to every character, but it would greatly improve gameplay. And besides, does it make sense that these characters would just sit and twiddle thumbs while your base is being attacked?

Simple idea - mining event for common rss only. Rewards are the uncommon G2/3. This way, the server refills with rss and ppl work is rewarded with the elusive g3 rss.

@austere sand Your plan to combine the refinery into just one crate has not made improvements to the uncommon rates, in fact, they have decreased. If each one was a chance, then each one had it's own set of chances. By creating one you have limited the chances of receiving more uncommon. Think of it like a slot machine. Each pull of the handle gives the person a chance of winning. Whether it be one coin or five coins, it doesn't improve the odds or chance in winning. Just because you we have put two coins into the pull, doesn't give us higher odds. We need each pull to give us the best chance for our return. I highly suggest going back to the way it was, so as we open each one we have our chances.
I appreciate that they're expanding the battle reports list from 20 to 30. However, I think the better way to handle battle reports is with two tabs: one should show player interactions and mission completions, the other should show hostile interactions. So that way, if you're grinding rep or farming dilithium or something, you don't push reports you care about off of your list. A simple tab top like this would work.
Oh, and based on my recent drop rate for uncommon refinery product, I completely agree. Scopely messed up something in the ratio there. I run double loads almost all the time, and uncommon product is about as likely as if I was running single loads. Of course, they make more if people can refine less uncommon and rare items, but it's a little ridiculous.

As a server event. Servers are barren of rss. Ppl struggle to grow. Ppl are doing missions to get rss but its not enough. Mining for basic rss for growth is no longer viable when you hit low 20's.

We on server 016 have a problem. We try to abide by rules of engagement. But when the rules call for 0 mine and not in space the battle log shows neither mine count nor stays on mine or in space. When players try to be dishonest there is no way to show via a screenshot of the survey ship was on a mine or in space. Not can we tell when the shot is from.
Anyone else find this info useful in battle reports/logs?

Possibly level dependent, for example level 3 to 20 2 star uncommon level 20+ ( more at the higher levels) but split between the different chests. Suggestion:- new npcs called Convoys.
They would consist of 1 trader ship and 2 escorts, and would be treated as a base attack would, so you would need to take out all 3 to gain the loot. These can they be broken down into the following...
Common convoy - carrying raw ores/gas/crystal 2*/3*
Uncommon convoy - carrying common ores/gas/crystals 2*/3*
Rare convoy - Carrying uncommon ores/gas/crystals.
This would change up the game that is currently focused around mining, and allow a new method, if not difficult, or acquiring specific items.
Regarding offer packages. Include some peace shield time to allow folks to utilize the benefit of purchasing. I’d like to buy an offer but I’m worried it’ll get farmed before I can burn it up. 😃

just click on the ship to show it's details, then click on the mine to show it's details, and it should make a nice single initial shot of the mine as evidence

For our roe, the Miner is ok if not 0 or actively mining and not over protected capacity, hitting a miner has implications, hitting any ship including a miner in space has zero implications according to our roe, and it is hard to trust hostile alliances and individuals
Have had 24h if upset ppl and ppl hitting miners in mines over two people with 0 cargo in a mining ship that was hit.... Was he in the mine or in space? He said she said scenario.... Both have to same screenshot one says in space the other says made it to the mine...
Not the first disagreement over on mine vs in space but this latest drama is the catalyst for me to speak up here.
If admirals had some ability to see PvP logs of their constituents many of the not fun parts of leadership would evaporate, if they included a timestamp and a mine rss left count vs a "in since flag" our server would really be fun indeed

I would like a fight/flight toggle on my ships. If a ship is in flight mode, it flees when attacked. Could be implemented after first round of combat. Could even be a special crew ability, but I am honestly thinking a little toggle switch the player can flip one way or the other.
If sitting on a mining spot, someone starts to attack, your ship flees home. In opposing faction territory, a hostile attacks, your ship protects itself. It could be a thing it only flees if the threat is “hard” or “very hard” but stay for “normal” and easier.
This option would satisfy the “nudge” people, but also allow a player to decide to stand firm. You would be able to decide - do you want the cargo and your ship to survive and return home? Or would you rather make them fight for it?
Personally I would only use flight in rare circumstances. Would have used it a lot at lower levels tho.

Could scopely set the refinery minimum to 1 uncommon instead of 0 uncommon for refineries above a certain level? I have a level 28 refinery and I can get a lot of refinery batches in a row that yield 0 uncommon and 0 rare. So difficult to advance ships, research and bases with 0 being the most likely refinery batch result
Maybe offer different packs during events instead of packs that are duplicates of existing packs. The battle for glory pack is nothing but a duplicate of the ship pack. Maybe add some extras to make it really special and more ppl will buy these so called special packs

@cold kite duplicate the behavior for Shields depletion on mine depletion. 5m warning mine will be depleted would be awesome. If I hear the chime it has been depleted, by the time I launch the app my ship is killed.

Good changes are great l fact remains that a lot of plyrs will not be able to finish the solo mining event because of this downtime due to maintenance why didn't u schedule this for after the completion of the event.most plyrs depend on finishing these mining events to gain said RSS rewards but now can't please explain this type of schedule.
Here is my shopping list:
- Remote officer swap stations in each system. We have transporters, duh.
- Be able to see who is online within our alliance. Like how we can see who is online here.
- See where everyone's ships are at within our alliance in galaxy view, not just bases.
- When reading mission character storyline, disable the ability for other players to attack you since you can't do anything when the screen is shaded.
@azure lodge The fact that there would be a maintenance was announced way ahead of time for people to account for, just not the specifics of what time and how long. It'll always inconvenience someone as there are constantly events running but we'll forward this feedback regardless. 🖖
It would be good to have server times shown in the client somewhere... maybe in the Peace Shield area... but also in the other screens, particularly the report of hostile interactions (not the battle report, one level up), since those screenshots are used in Discord for resolving issues between players.
Ty coz the math at three envoys on three nobes at 3600 per nobe at one an half hrs mining it times two for three hours worth of mining is close to a quarter mil less mined and will coz many to fall that short of completion
I am definitely going to fall short because of this maintenance.
Advise to make mining more OPEN to all players:
There should be an addition ..based on LVL of Player => min. LvL of System to mine in, otherwise you can't mine and not able to shoot down miners in lower systems only in the systems you are suppost to mine in. Also if scopely would build in, that an mine at zero sends the miner home. more mines would be free.
And at the end maximize the number of miners you can deploy on mines to 1 or 2...that would be a game changer in the mining world and would give everyone a better change

Suggestions for the future of the gameplay:
Being able to swap officers onboard a ship (and only onboard that ship), when out of warp.
Alsways being able to klick on "manage" your Ship, even in Warp and or Mining for looking at details such as protected cargo.
If I'm right being in a faction at lvl 14 is impossible most I'm sure are doing it as per instruction from their admiral to finish their groups placement in the mega event
@azure lodge you are incorrect. I have two level 14’s in my alliance. Both have faction rep high enough to score faction dailies. Which in turn help them for daily loyalty chips. They have every right to mine those nodes.
For the record. Both are DUAL faction because they are properly coached. <brushes dirt off my shoulder> so they mine daily just like the rest of us.

@azure lodge our server has mining roe. We get along just fine. The key is to not over regulate it.
All we disallow is under pcl hits. If you’re on a. Zero or over cargo. You get smashed. Simple.
Our server tries to have a ROE also. Mine happens to be if I want your node I will take it if I can.

I have asked this before, but I will again. Can we have some kind of cool down token for the refinery? It does not have to be a full cool down, even tokens that knock an hour off would be nice. Maybe something that would drop from PvE or turning in mining missions? Maybe even for completing Dailys?
- Surveyor ships should scale to needed resources.
The first surveyor ship is the ECS Fortunate. Its specialty resources is Parasteel, which is expected since that is the first resource you encounter. As you level up through the game Parasteel becomes increasingly important. Some buildings require millions of Parasteel. Meanwhile, your only Parasteel surveyor has a max load and max protected load laughably inefficient to what your buildings require. In the thousands.
What I would considered to remedy this is the ability to retrofit old surveyor ships. For example, when you unlock the Envoy you should be able to upgrade the ECS Fortunate's capabilities to match that of the Envoy. When you unlock the ECS Horizon, you should be able to retrofit both the Envoy and ECS Fortunate to match the capabilities of the ECS Horizon. And so on. This way, those ships remain relevant ships capable of being used at higher levels.
I don't think this would be game breaking because surveyors are not combat efficient. Having an ECS Fortunate with matching or near matching stats to a high surveyor will be no different than having an Envoy or ECS Horizon that's specialized for Parasteel.

Idea for adjusting refinery function. Go away from the chance packs, and move towards percentage returns based on level of refinery. Also work in adjusting the reset time for refining based on level as well. Ten hours across the board is rather harsh.
The new 3* batch sizes can be 2.5k, 5k, 10k. For an example of how to adjust the refinery function itself, at level 50 refinery, the reset should be every 10 minutes. The refining rates can be 20% common, 10% uncommon, and 5% rare. As your refinery gets higher, it gets closer to those maximum functionality rates. Start them at 10% common, 5% uncommon, and 1% rare and gradually adjust them up.
I want to get the quest log sorted, by lvl of dificulty. Can you guys do that soon????
@topaz tide I would even say get rid of the 1, 2, 3 batch thing and go with a cooldown penalty price and limit.
so, more batches, longer reset time
For example - run the first batch, has a 10 hour cooldown, but you can run a second batch immediately at a penalty of x resources.
Same idea, but simplifies the interface, removes a lot of confusion about returns, and allows you to decide at a later time to run more. The penalties could stack and even run out completely at some point.
If you are 5 refined resources away, you can run a batch, see if you get it, then run another when you get shafted.
And I am thinking the penalties would stack, not the cooldown.

I have two improvement suggestions:
- Allow reconfiguration of the crew of a ship when not docked: (officers who are assigned to the ship)
- Stack up shields: Allow player to stack up shields one after the other. Most times i don't need an 8 hours shield, but i could use 4+1+1 hour Shields

Idea: new type of event-> it has been discussed for a long time among alliance members. Now, we d like to address this idea to other Players. We d like to hear your feedback. We like to see some new areas on the map - like Khan area- in which you get extra PvP points for fights. In case you ll like to fight PvP you ll just go there and fight down everyone around you. You ll get points for decreasing hull or shields and collect them like in other daily events. Its even possible to give a handycap if lower Level player and higher level player fight e.g. 16/19 * hull points for a Lvl 19 player attacking Lvl 16 Player and vice versa. However, these areas are open for particular Level e.g. Blue area for Lvl 15 to 19 , Green for Lvl 20 to 24 etc. So , it works like a league within your particular Level range. The points may be reported like the general power points. Then the game does not merge more and more into a farming game and each player has an incentive to move slower with regard to upleveling.
Last but not least, one system in each area should contain one particular mine node which keeps you extra points when mining. Then I imagine huge rushes to attack or defend this particular node. Alliances may work together to get this King of the hill - like node for farming some minutes and make some points. As soon as you exceed the Level dedicated to your area you dont have access to this system but for another one with higher level Player.

@hollow umbra the possible rewards in a 4 hr chest are greater, you can get premium recruit tokens from a 4 hr chest, along with recruit tokens and either 2500 2* mats, or 1000 3* mats, 10 minute chests usually give you crap, it's just you open more of them, and tend to remember the good pulls
to be fair, i usually get far more from the 10 min chests and usually end up with a speedup or recruit tokens from the 4 hr one....
I always remember the 1 hr speed up and x20 lat pulls from the 10 minute chests, I never remember the 1 minute speed ups, or the x100 tritanium
It be nice if the ship hanger was used for more than just good ships. But ships being tiered up and repairing as well, waiting well over an hour just for a ship to repair (especially with events like the Glory one) is annoying
How about during managing crew, have a toggle switching from single view to all (berthed) ships,? Simplify transfering between.
Another (accessibily) option to change shape of buttons for ship functions from narrow (Parkinsons, et al. could risk losing latinum when wanting repair)
rectangles to a grid of tiles (with icons) ? More space from edge.
@austere sand would be great if you could introduce alliance log and player log. The alliance log would show who has been promoted, demoted, enter and leave. The player log would show the history of alliances joined and left.
Also what are the possibilities of getting a cool down on Relocation? Something like if you relocate your station there is a 72 hour cool down before you can relocate again.

If you are going to raid a base by relocating to that system to make draining the resources very very fast is a pitiful move. There should be a penalty for relocating your base, ie a cool down, which gives me a chance to hit back or hit your ships. Makes for a much better mechanic than a hit and run.
No there shouldn't be a penalty for trying to empty bases quickly
If I'm solo raiding I want to empty it quickly so no one else takes my rss from the raid
In another game I play, you incur "battle fury" for a period of 15 minutes during which you cannot shield.

That does happen, yes. So you have to be very strategic and have someone watching your back. It goes with the old saying about choosing your battles wisely.
I'd actually be more concerned that, because FC's economy is so dry on many servers, it would exacerbate that problem while addressing another.

I'm genuinely curious what impacts - good and bad - it would have here. Because it has definitely helped the other game, but in that case, the economy is generous.
When I say helped, less people try to attack you because your bigger guildmates are around and will, as you say, attack them while they're attacking you.
So it has to be planned carefully.

I agree 100% @worldly nova It’s worth at least looking at what impact it would have both ways. Again station hits are part of the game. But I personally don’t relocate my base and just send survey ships in and back. If they shield up good on them, I tried got some and then they had an opportunity to retaliate appropriately. But relocating next to me to drain a base in 1 minute and leave just doesn’t seem like a synchronous gaming experience. The game is MMO, it would encourage a back and forth exchange.

Also the issue with the level 30 in your example is symptomatic of a different issue regarding sustainable high level end game content that Scopely needs to provide
Well if your a higher level all it does is a minor wait time, and nothing more, how is a 78k kehra supposed to break a base with 200k Kumari docked??
I think that’s just a little too simplistic. Unless the raider is willing to throw up a 3-day shield and walk away from the game for 3 days any time they send a ship out when they recall there is an opportunity to ambush the ship before it docks. In military terms it’s called a block aid. I personally would like to see these types of tactics and engagements rather than a simple hit and run. That to me is boring as it is too easy to do.
Well your forgetting that I'd like to do island hoping, people like me need a mood to raid, and when the mood strikes, we'll hit multiple bases, so it doesn't help when we can't move to the next base afterwards
Also like I already said, all the higher levels are the ones with rss and who move most often to raid, doesn't matter, I can't tag a horizon with a kehra, and that requires me to lower my shields
Also if I have rss and need to relocate often, then this will restrict what I can do, doesn't help when the bigger alliances always search almost every system
@worldly nova I would absolutely LOVE a cooldown timer for re-shielding after an attack. I can't tell you how many times someone has parked their base practically touching mine to raid me and it's like they've got an auto-shield script running, they hit, shield instantly, hit, shield instantly. This absolutely ruins the gaming experience when it comes to raids. While you're at it, a several second delay timer on all pvp attacks would be extremely helpful as well (similar to how the timer for going to warp works) as it would stop the tactic of people parking right next to you before attacking so you don't get that red flash alert on your ship.

@austere sand players are not meant to get rewards for alliance events if they leave the alliance. I know lots of players on my server that use the help bug and still get the rewards when they rejoin. Maybe have it so when you leave an alliance during an event you lose the alliance event and it doesn't come up again until the next event starts. This will stop players jumping for rewards and stop the help bug

Ideas:
Introduce a few new primes:
1: 1st officer adds a fourth officer to the bridge (big pack) can be switched to captain away from stations
2: Chief of Engineering additional non Bridge Officer who automatically takes command if the ship is in the station (middle pack)
It is nearly impossible to raid a player past lvl 35, the station can be opened but currently the miners are too weak to get through and I am talking about 200k plus fraction miners
Please add a tab on galaxy where you can save spots and fastclick them
Please add a possibility to save crew set ups
Something needs to be done about alliance level it should reward more than 2 more players. Something like weapon damage, warprange, etc increases
Add alliance abilities that can be activated for a week through winning reoccurring weekly
Events. Like increased mining speed, increased warpspeed, increased building speed...
Maybe introduce something like fraction council: when an alliance wins these council events special ministries can be given to some of the players

Suggestions
- introduce trade
- add system benefits (when your station is in a specific system you get them)
- a higher tier miner should have all the abilities of all lower tier miners horizon plus para plus tri plus dil for example
- random npc bases
- possibility to further customize you ship
- broaden the research tree
- add content in higher lvl systems
- fog of war you can only see what is in a system when you have a ship in it (combine with nr. 6 your ships can scan longer range with research or ship ability)
- npc traders can dock on your station for automatic trade, the higher lvl system the better the rewards. Only or works better if you are unshielded
SUGGESTION: is there a way to display the power increase points that a station build or research will generate? Without this information it a complete gamble when deciding if it is worthwhile to use precious speedups while a station or research event is on or which modules to upgrade next for maximum benefit.
The most useful location for this would be alongside the module currently being upgraded as this is the module that will affect the event. To avoid cluttering the main screen, perhaps this can be reflected in the pop up menu that appears when selecting the speed up screen.
A second location to display this information could be displayed is in the building upgrades screen. This is less useful when choosing to speedups, but useful if planning ahead for an event.

Probably not going to be a popular request, but I would like to see some kind of cool down timer after PvP so people cannot hit and run so easy. right now there is no downside to randomly hitting a miner or other plays and running. I am not talking a huge timer...15-30 seconds...just so an alliance member can engage the provoker or if a person has multiple ships in the same system. They can still run and move around the system, they just have to wait a bit before warping out.
@maiden idol the way to fix griefers hitting our miners is to:
Allow ships to defend a miner like our station.
Pro:
- Lower level players can mine
- People will mine over their protected cargo
- Less ships mining will mean more chances for a node
Con:
- Pirates won’t be able to farm miners as easily
- When pirates hit they will destroy two or more ships
- Some higher-level players could “own” a node because their ships are so powerful
After 13 level of Alliance need to equate the number of helping to level of Alliance!
Needs to be done and finally the column "Last visit", as in all games!
@dim charm It's not just miners. It is just the PvP in general. I used miners because they are always the easiest targets. I have seen and been in some pretty rather large skirmishes and there is always someone that comes in some OP ship, then runs when presented with an actual challenge. There are no consequences. At least give someone a chance to gang up and hurt them. f2p players can take out a p2w if they are given a fair chance. They don't always have to be cannon fodder. A 15 second delay before warping out might give someone a chance at returning the favor.
@sly vortex I like that. Currently, i record everyone's power rating them compare them every few weeks. I generally know who is on because I am playing 24/7. I might be sleeping but I have Envoys out either mining or getting vaporized but I still see the feed of who is asking and offering help.
Suggestion: We should be able to get ride of blueprints we don't want (i.e. never going to build another orion, should be able to sell those blueprints/trade them in). Along with that scrapping ships we don't want to have anymore AND automatically swapping repairing/tiering ships into the hanger to open up a dock for a fully functional ship.
Can we also get an immediate push notification for when a mine has been deleted?!

Just have the refinery have a guarantee of at least 3-5 uncommon of any type. It doesn't have to be much, just so long as there's SOMETHING so that we feel like we're actually progressing.
Suggestion: Make the faction starbases attackable. Difficulty based on system level, but significantly tougher than a player base at the same level. Reward basic three resources, plus the unrefined resource specific to each faction (eg federation base gives 3* gas).
Please give an option to Opt-in to these types of alerts.

In this space above the character, you could include a trail of the different reputation rankings you can achieve so we can see what order they are in. Maybe a bar with a bubble at each rep and part of it filled in up to your current rep.

I don't know if it has already been asked for but here goes....please please can we have a PM all message option for Admirals and Commodores. It would make life so much easier to run an alliance because updates and messages to all on the chat is lost within minutes when you have an active alliance which means you either need to message everyone one by one or post the same message 2 dozen times over a couple of days to make sure people are seeing them.
Since the lvl 15s got 7 day bubbles, shouldn't we all get 1.. parity and all that

First of al, i like the new Faction Store, however, i am missing the overview. seeing the points of all factions in 1 view, could that be added in the button, where it now says "Favored, Enemy. This would increase the button size, abit, but that should not be a big problem.
I have a simple recommendation: Allow Alliance contributions to include G2 and G3 resources.
Also a potentially contentious one: Allow raiding of G2 and G3 resources.

Increase size of Alliance Announcements box. It isn’t obvious that scrolling is necessary to see all the content in the announcement box. Might miss an important message.
SHIELD SUGGESTIONS...
- Allow shields to stack.
- Also allow ability for player to activate auto-shield after x minutes of inactivity.
- Allow ability to pause/unpause shields to defend or attack. This would come at resource cost to avoid being abused. However, it would prevent wasting lengthy shield when you need to attack to protect a miner, alliance member, etc.
- Lastly, enable complimentary auto-shield after every Scopely update. Not sure what is an appropriate time (4 hrs, 8 hrs). This would prevent someone’s base from being raided due to shields being dropped due to the Scopely game update. This has happened to me on at least two occasions. I would set an 8 hour shield and then wake up less than 8 hrs later to find my bases dropped and station raided.
Waste of a new shield.
- They usually give a 1 day shield before the upgrade, so use that (or be smart and use a shorter one and keep the 1 day for another time)
Alternatively, provide short duration shields. 5, 10, 15 mins.
I am smart but we all have lives. When Scopely drops my shields they need to ensure that my base’s resources are protected.
I've never had my shield dropped cause of game update, but there are bugs around it 😃

Hi. I would like a way to sort missions. Sort by date. Sort by completion progress. Sort by difficulty. Ascending or descending, I don’t care. I just want to clear the wall of missions that I have to scroll through from collecting so many. Perhaps it’s my own fault for hoarding so many missions but I like stacking missions so I can complete two or more at a time per task. Anyway, missions are important and should be sorted somehow on the screen. Nothing major. #💭-suggestions

for pack pricing, i am sure they are scaled to the indidividual resource cost. It woudl be ideal if they were scaled to the percentage gain to player. THis way, price of packs could remain consitent and stable throughout the game progression
Why are the words pawn and um blocked in the game chat? Especially when pawn is an augment rank.

I have this idea that I’d like for you guys to help flesh out. What if you could long press one of your ships and then select one of your other ships (small slide-up menu), in the same system to become a Fleet. This Fleet would move as a single ship, but have multiple arrows. Move at the slower ship speed. When you attack all ships attack at once. I originally only thought this should be for NPCs, but this could be useful for miners who want to protect their ships. Thoughts?
10 mins 4 hours and 22 hour chests have gotten better..for common resources,how about adding uc and bigger batches of experience for ships and crew?

How about a fleet commander slot - in the base, only changeable like every day or at best maybe every 8-12 hours, and the fleet commander is a group of interesting choices like
mining commander: allows any mining vessel commander to swap with one of his vessel' crew so long as they are both mining crew
augment specops: once a day (or maybe more) an augment can swap out for a crew member in one of your ships
Rogue vintner: provides a return bonus to morale as an effect.

when you're mining make it possible to hit the mining clamps and detach a ship from its rock. that way there's a noncombat way to remove someone from a zero node

STFC has so many icons on the screen, the playing area is tiny!
What if there was a button (icon) that would hide all of the others! Then it would bring them back when needed.

For us that have purchased a bunch of faction credits... remember when you would recruit crew and be excited to see what you would get? Now all i get is a little bit of officer xp and an epic crew or two since ive maxed everything but epics. How about adding some of the event crew to be able to be recruited? Recurring crew seems like a chore now instead of something i look forward to @austere sand
