It is meant to encourage using speedups and to purchase speed ups or burn the latinum you have stocked up when you open gifts.
This is true in all current Mobile Games of this nature.
In fact, in older Real Time Strategy Games, you couldn't build buildings more than one a time unless you had multiple construction yards, which in this case, none of the Mobile Games are going to do multiple Construction Yards.
In the few games I have also seen, even multiple troop/ship production type deals, they will not produce more than 1 type of unit at any given time due to the simplistic nature and also to keep a level playing field with regards to production.
One of the fatal flaws in the PC RTS Games is when a person has a good build structure, they often overwhelm another side due to zerging (Chinese Fire Drill - Look it up). Mobile RTS is not that much different, mostly due to higher level players will overwhelm lower level players with higher powered troops/vehicles/ships and force lower level players to rely on shields for protection or hoping they are not noticeable.
You will also find, later on, your production is not going to keep up with any multiple builds you want to do, because the cost to build something will far exceed your warehouse ability to keep, and the fact that once you hit Level 15... Your station is going to be hit by anyone level 15-19ish that has exceeded your ability to defend, making your resources woefully low.
And it won't get any better as you go up in levels short of hiding behind a shield and hoping you can mine some of those resources (Like the G2 and G3 resources) that you will need, that you won't easily get from events or from hitting PVE ships.
And mining for G2 and G3 resources will most likely be near impossible without fighting due to the fact that higher level players will take them from you or occupy them that you can't get any short of buying from the game.
Pay that much of trit for that rewards..... get real scopely.........

Lots of people having issues with stations getting hit by bigger overpowered ships etc, not being able to grow etc, why don’t the devs amend the pvp against station lvl to ship unlocked lvl? Like:
Station PvP
(Ship available) (Station range)
2* 15-19
3* 20-25
3* F Unc 26-29
3* F Rare 30-33
3* F Epic 34- 38
4* 39+
Should allow guys to grow with a lot less quitting.
And ship pvp +/- 3 levels of above
Everything else seems to revolve around shipyard & station level so why not PvP?

A suggestion for Chat: a 4th channel. In addition to "Galaxy", "Alliance," and "Private," how about a "System" (or Star System) channel? How often have we heard this, as the ST:OS Enterprise entered a star system: "Uhura, open a channel. This is James T Kirk of the Federation Starship Enterprise. We come in peace."
If we players in a star system could talk with one another, we might lessen the suspicion and paranoia we have when we see yet another stranger arrive -- to frag us? to steal from us?
Especially during the current Mining Event, there are people out there who are destroying mining ships whether-or-not the targets have any resources to loot, whether-or-not the node has anything left to mine. What kind of player is this stranger?
A few words from the stranger could make that clear very quickly. Ditto, a few words from players already in the system. If -- if -- there were some way to communicate to other players in the same star system. A thought.

Will these new officers ever find their way into the recruit chests? Why are they restricted to events, ALL officers listed should be attainable and upgradeable via recruit chests. I now have an officer that I can't promote due to not being able to get any more shards.

What the hell is in the northstar. A fortunate has 21k cargo. Small little guy. Then get northstar monster and it holds 4.5 k at tier 3. That's messed up. What is the ship filled with where it can hold a quarter what the fortunate can.

When can we expect to get packages relevant to levels? After we’ve finished building Envoys I don’t see the need of 2* mats. Please make packages geared to G3 mats or geared to upgrade specific ships. Not hard to figure out this would be more profitable for Scopely. So many are no longer investing in the game because of this. @austere sand
Not sure if this has already been suggested: in alliance list, add a dropdown for promotion so i can promote directly to desired rank. Currently, each promotion is incremental except for Admiral. Secondly, the ability to change permissions for different ranks.

Well I have rided many times but playing couple days I have gained recourse pack and never halted my production or researce. The raid is problem if you forget peace shield and you are mining and fell sleep without remembering to put peace shield like today one bastar raided my 2,6M parsteel and 1M of dilithium.
NOw I have 600k dilithium again after some fighting dailies and parsteel and thos grow on their own pace. Game is in that regards balanced, the raid is only few minutes of bad feelings but then you remember that the recourse grow back in few days.
I would not complaint about raids, this is mechanims to gain lot of recourses in few minutes to update somenthing. You should be aware of it and know how to setup peace shield regularly
SUBBESTION: Now in this mining event, I have noticed that my alliance members never respond if I want them to start mining full or something.
I would want to have some alliance control features. Most best features would be, monitor their activity and send must to respond notice to all alliance members. LIke respond by text or declain.
Notice would be window on top of the game. Player should write the answer or they are not able to see most of the surface of playing area
The Market should be a lvl10 base feature, not a lvl50 feature.
Run an event...allow players to earn a self destruct research. This research would allow miners that are not yet over their protected cargo limit to have a 33% chance of self destructing if attacked, taking out the attacker as well, regardless of strength. Make it easy to earn this research, and make it known only to the miner that it is enabled...

Do not change miner nodes or mining at all. JUst remove the autoamtic node attacking if someone else takes node and causes you to dispel station shield and being a fruit for raids
Planer mining: Water worlds can have natural resources used for energy production such as Wave Generators and Hydro Electronic production. Fiery volcano planets can be used to generate power to the orbiting stations if there is one. power converted from volcano planers could be encapsulated in heat resistant canisters to boost energy needs of habitable planets in the same faction space. Energy production resources from certain planers can be sold to habitable ones.
Nobody should be permitted to shoot those energy transport vessels. whoever does will have their mined items confiscated.
Windy planers could have their storms bring used to generate power from Windows mill generators. and Solar power from planers with a star similar to our own.
Or perhaps a bit older. Red dwarf systems can also be used to generate solar energy.
Allow ships to attack all at the same time rather than turn by turn

Another suggestion that we should be able to scan allies ships and bases. I'd like to know if my allies base was hit, or just shielded by choice, other than by waiting 5 min. Be nice to be able to scan higher and lower lvls too. Doesn't hurt to see. Not attack, just scan.
More balanced events: There is no way a level 14 can compete with a level 31. Instead of ranking the whole server how about keeping it to smaller groups? Say for instance lvl11-15, 16-20, 21-25, etc... keep the range smaller and make things more fair for all. Same rewards or at least very similar ones. Not 50k steel, 20k trit, 200 dil crap.

Better balancing, pvp is based on skill, so maybe make it so that players at a certain level can only engage in pvp with others of a similar level, like if you're level 23 you can only compete with those at either level 21 or level 25, this can keep it so you will need to have certain technologies and ships to actually attack those people. However strength can still be used to determine if it is a good idea to attack or not but if you wanted to attack someone with a much lower strength level, like the level 23 actually wanted to hit a level 20, they need to use a ship with a strength that that other player is at but it should only be used if they are on a mine or if it's a base, this can give those a fair chance to defend but not be entirely decimated and want someone to rage quit the entire game due to a bad experience. I think a good pvp are those that make even someone who is skilled a game to still have to worry about those who aren't good. To make it that anyone can really win if they actually learn about how to play and use things effectively like chess or checkers. Otherwise it isn't pvp, and more like a grown person walking into a playground and beating the crap out of children.

well game battle system is some what good. I only complain of huge resource needs and too slow game pace. People would still spend money into the game if advancing would be 2x faster

Make people progress 2 times faster but keep mining related to ship upgrades and prolly the biggest researches. Remove need of star materials for building upgrades and lesser the quantity of materials needed to update.
But halting people with uncommon needs on stations will reduce players 2/3
We also need an increase of warehouse holding, so that it always has enough for the most expensive building you can build. The players that want to wait out for generators, and not do pvp should be given that option. Many pve players are quitting because mining takes forever, and they don't want to raid.

More jellies for the lower lvls. I want to see lvl20 faction systems full of 12-15 taking up g3 nodes to make sure all the 20+ feel the pain and annoyance of high lvl players hording g2 to lvl up their 2nd or 3rd envoy.
I have some ideas to mention ,on behalf of the Admiral of my alliance as he does not have discord, regarding the alliances such as some form of checking the activity of players, as well as additional infomation on the profiles, within an alliance so as to manage the players who do and don't play as well as new ways to reward exceptional members besides just promoting them. I understand that this may take time to implemet if accepted, I just wish to get some form of feedback regarding these ideas.
Why founders server have 3x3star ore, crystal and gas refining? On our server we have only 1 each?
Why does some server have better possibilitys to gain resources than others?
What about an option to "Simulate Combat" with players in your alliance? You could see who would win in a battle, if you can crack your fellow alliance members stations, etc but without any rss costs or losses. Plus add more g3 nodes in neutral systems and in faction space.
Please allow an option to drop out of warp to the nearest system. Sometimes we need to change course.
Remove the option to warp directly to a mining node. Possibly warpable near the node. To prevent node clashes.

how would u like it if 2 or 3 players warping to the same node. u arrive 1st and moments later another player clashes with you and out you go cuz his ship is stronger?

If you guys insist on putting these grade 2 ships in boxes from lvl 36 npcs and 2*RSS as rewards for daily events.. instead of something actually useful.. you need to give us a way to convert them instead of stacking up.. this is getting ridiculous

Idea: when completing all of the planets missions, you can relocate your base on the planet if you want to.
@austere sand here is an idea make it where if your shield is up and you are going to a empty node and someone gets there before you do that it ask if you want to attack that ship and drop your shield or not attack don't have it just automatically attack and your shield drop. Just an idea

Only problem there is, that the G2 resources will be overwhelmed by High Level Players with literally unhittable miners.
It would also increase the amount of nodes they would hit, even if you were to say... Make it so to convert a G2 resource conversion of say, from 30k G2 to a single G3 chest, it is far easier and faster to get G2 resources than G3 and especially in situations where you are faction limited, you risk less being in the neutral zone kicking the lower level players with your Horizon than fighting it out with even level players.
Make it to where no one, not even your team mates can see where your base is located. Getting sick of all the spies out there.

What might be done for special events: We should have several specific Galaxy Systems, Nebulas, or Black Holes, that are virtually arenas for special events, wars, prizes, and puzzles, whatever use they want. They could be changed, weekly or monthly, restricted to levels or factions, whatever!

Allow us to convert rss to tokens, once a week with a limit of 5 would be fine - current base protection is grossly inadequate.
Make all para, trit, and dil that comes in purchased packs to be tokens to protect our investment in your game.
Make all rewards that are at the necessary level to be tokens and not raw rss.
Fix IOS notifications - they are not working and have not been working for months and rss is being lost due to attacks that you never know about. Otherwise compensate IOS users for their losses.
Fix systems that are crashing IOS game (since last maintenance and client update) I am finding more and more of these each day.
ALL officers should be available in recruitment chest drops, especially now you have introduced and provided them from an event. We want to promote them now and can't.
Provide ALL levels of purchase, just because I once purchased a $159.99 pack does not mean that I always only want to purchase EVERYTHING at that level. More money would be spent if I had smaller packs to choose from.
Get rid of the G2 fillers in packs/rewards - a level 29 does not need them and I would prefer a pack tweaked with more G3 and the removal of all G2, or a major reduction of G2.
Allow G2 rss to be converted to G3, like it was previously, 600k G2 raw could be converted to G3 raw.
Provide faction PvE bases for hitting and raiding
Provide a peace shield for longer than 5 mins if the base is hit - 30 mins would be better.
Events that are not server ranked, but level ranked (or +/- 2 level) - how can anyone compete with a level 34+ something that has the rss and firepower to become rank #1 in 5 mins and remain there because of their strength and abilities - like current PvP levels, very unbalanced and does not give the lower players any incentive to do the events.
A coloured section of the cargo line to easily identify whether you are under protected or not. There is no way of going to the ship details to check if you are unsure

There should be consequences for preying on the weak. I think attacking player ships and stations should effect your standing with the major factions. If I hit a player that has been doing good work for a faction, maybe they don't like that so well. Just like the PVE ships. That way if you're doing all of your hunting in one faction's space because the NPCs don't attack you on sight there, eventually you will lose your standing with that faction, too...
Improve the kehra so it can actually go up against a battleship like it is meant to do

Please remove star routes. Allow vessel to travel continuesly to point to point on a map wihtout need of using travel routes. Display only Stars in a galaxy and when on warp straight line to point to point as warp route. Allow same time vessel warp route to be changed or recall back!
How about hiring help staff that looks into what is reported instead of giving us blanket answers. I reported a mining node not working and sent a screen shot of it’s exact location with the coordinates showing. The first response was the bs answer of clearing your in game localization which I did but has never fixed any problem which I respond and the next response was what is going on with your mining node? I game you the exact location maybe look into it, you would go to a different car mechanic if you told him you left rear blinker didn’t work and his response was well what’s going on with it. That’s the mechanics job to figure out
Would be nice if we could convert Faction tokens we can’t use (I’m favoured with fed for example therefore hostile with Rom and Klingon) into the faction we can use them for (even if it’s only 50-75% of their value), or at least into resources. I’m sitting with over 1000 romulan that are useless to me, as there’s just no way I can claw back my relationship with them at this stage.

Yo @austere sand Can we see actual stats of warehouse, vaults, ships (all their stats) etc AFTER they have been modified by research please? For example the dilithium warehouse at level 20 holds 8,000, but I currently have 8832 dil, as you can see in the screenshot. This is all from my generators, which means I can hold more than the warehouse says. Taking us neatly onto research. My dilithium storage research is at level 7, meaning 54% bonus, thus I can actually hold 12, 320 dil. Having to do this maths for every building and ship stat is mental. I mean we are playing a game set in space. Surely we could have something that tells us our actual stat after research upgrades?
Yes the main tab shows a modified amount (which doesn't fit with the maths of the research upgrade), but details tab leaves you having to do the math to see what the next level would be if upgraded.
Market should be changed from operations level 50 to operations 20 so that people are able to trade resources within their alliance
it is only lvl50 locked since they havent done it yet, as most if not all level 50 locked buildings are not finished

There should be a manufactory building in every base that allows players to upgrade the tons of useless grade 2 mats to grade 3 mats. For example, 100 Crystals *2 = 1 Crystal *3. Analog to gas and ore. Might as well be useful for ship parts.

@honest talon seeing low levels mining 3* isn't necessarily about dailies, some people use them as holders. Especially if they are lvl 9 or lower simce they are non-pvp.

My offered solution is either restrict the grade of rss a person can mine to a minimum level or make everyone pvp regardless of level. Without either of these changes, the game changes from microtransaction optional, to purchase necessary. It's hard enough to refine ore, shouldn't make it even harder to mine it. As it is, I need 1.5mil Tritanium to upgrade shields on my Vahkla to T5.
Nah just prevent the event from under level 20 or something.

LIke mine parsteel event or mine tritaniuma event or dilithium event. Keep G2 event for 10-20 level players

I would suggest adding more ore systems, gas systems seem pretty good maybe adding 1 or 2. There is one system 29 which is pointles all together, needs 10M dillithiuma mission and there is nothing more than starbase.

@smoky marsh there is about 3x the available nodes for 2* than 3*, but that being said, only need 2* to finish tiering up Envoy.

@woeful raft I understand stacking, but limit that to level 19, not 8 or 9 or 14 or even 16.
My biggest issue is warp times because those crystal and gas are way big distances from each, you have like 20min travle time from faction to faction. Why the earth would some material not found some other galalxy?
For this reason I have suggested the spore warps or warp points which would be constructable on systems.
You could construct max fleet amount so 3 points to various systems.
The if you use warp to this system your vessel would warp instantly to your warp structure or outpost
Til example if I want to mine crystal I could construct home base outpoust, crystal mine system outpoust then warp instantly between home base and crystal mining system.
And not needing to wait 20 minutes from 35 level fed system to some 35 level system in klingon
So, I've had an idea in my head for a little bit now, and I think, with the launch failure of yesterdays event, that this idea could be a big hit if implemented even half-way decent.
Alliances set up these Rules of Engagement with other alliances. Be it a non-aggression pact, or a military defense pact, or kill on sight, players have to zoom in close on ships, and even closer on stations, to see who's who.
I feel it would be beneficial to add a feature where alliance leaders can set other alliances as friendly or "KOS", and the color of the player arrow, station, or name, would change depending on the level. Of course you may have to expand the current color pallet to accomplish this, or let alliances define colors based on the RoE with the other alliances.
If an alliance changes their tag, then the RoE would be void, until the tag is set properly or the RoE definition is removed from the list. While it could cause issues, it's the fault of the alliance leaders for not communicating their intention.
Nah, warp times add a level of strategy to the game. Teleportation travel would wreck the combat strategy. Mix up the rss and restrict low level toons.
Lol it would cchange nothing those who take mines would still take mines, you would need to kill your outpost and mine somehwere else.
Can we maybe get some lvl 27 hostiles in lvl 27 systems? Finishing the faction dailies is getting harder every day.

Well the warp times ar thos good for robbers, I have found their base many times becuase I calculate the time they used to get back.
I have raid few bases who came to kill me from node where I took 0 node from him.
If they used like under 10 minutes they arent far
One dood came to kill me with big gun and hes freighter took 4 minutes to get back.
I knew he is about 4 systems away from me so it took 4 systems to look ah here is my next raid

When you sort any alliance list by power for example, I would like to see numbers showing that I am in 35th place for instance.

There should be a way to view your ship stats from the Ships menu, without having the ship at a dry dock and at base. While I have ships out mining, it is silly that I can’t examine the stats of ships in my hangar. Why should I have to waste a time in dry dock swapping ships in and out just to view their stats, level, upgrades available, etc. It is fine that I need to be docked to actually do any upgrades, but I should be able to examine any ship in my hangar at any time.
QoL. Can we get a menu toggle to allow/disallow instant repairs. No I dont want to instant repair. I never want to instant repair. I've wasted at least 1000 in recent history from desync/lag and trying to recall.

@nocturne lantern I understand what you are saying, but at the moment it is too easy to raid and the people feeling it are the smaller struggling players who end up leaving. If they leave, they don't spend and players lose targets, etc. gameplay dies. Packs at the very least should be provided in tokens and not the rss, this protects your hard earned cash purchase. If you cash in the token and don't shield, you are still a target. It doesn't kill pvp, but adds a level of balance, especially with the ridiculous pvp level gap that allows a 30+ to hit a player in the low 20's and wiping them out with a faction miner sucking the base dry in minutes.
You all need to sell $5 , $10, and $20 packs. The likelihood of me buying a $100 or $50 pack is not high at all. Also why are there no packs for RSS tokens?
open up faction space for all, current there are vast numbers of system with noone using them because 1. no roids in them or 2. no planets to anchor station on or 3. warp range too great. also allow all 3 types of g3 mines in faction space so players can move out of nuetral space to establish home territories that need to be defended to hold onto.
I think I’m quitting this game. It is disgustingly unbalanced for p2w players vs f2p. I was just hit by a talla that was stronger than my base.
You COULD make a game that is playable free but has cool reasons to pay to speed thing up, explore further, etc. instead you can buy yourself domination over other players and raid their resources and rape them until they quit.
Simple fix but frustrating. Can we get the refinery to say rewards per batch or crate. It currently says per 3500 which is misleading or false. I sent a ticket and got the run around.

@main bolt if a talla broke your base then you didnt upgrade your station guns very much. tallas are weak compared to some of the faction ships out there. i got hit by a maxed out horizon 400k and then by a kumari at 212k and my base actually survived the two attacks, even my NS survived. my base is only 351k

i do agree the pvp balance is way out of whack but you can defend your base if you do it right
the pvp should really be based on ship power not ops level. 400k ships should not be able to attack 50k ships. if a player of ops level much higher wants to hit your weak ship then they should use a ship of lower power that is within a fairer range. say + or - 10k for g2 and + or - 30k for g3 and + or - 50k for faction ships
it would then give use to older ships rather than leaving them to gather dust once you move from g2 to 3 or faction ships
I return to my idea of honor points.
Attacking a superior foe (player or hostile) gives you honor points. Attacking a lesser enemy takes them away. The greater the difference, the more points involved.
Having more honor gives better rewards (chests, refinery yields, etc).
Certain quests, abilities, etc can require a certain honor level to receive.
This can play a special role in faction quests, events, etc.
This would reward players who don’t go around slaughtering weaker players, give greater incentive to attack hostiles, and make the game more competitive as players would play on their own level more. This would also not negatively impact players that are overpowered, merely drive them to play against each other.
also a hugely unfair advantage to stronger players is the fact that your 5 min shield cool down takes 8 hours, this should be reset if the station is repaired. if no repair then fine but if repaired another 5 min shield should be ready to go. this would allow players enough time to log back in to defend if attacked more than once within an 8 hour period
also if playing and someone targets your station set off a bloody sound alert
I like the alarm idea but people would just nav next to your base to reduce the lead time.
more often than not it takes an age to load the shield page in your items section that you can be hit 3 -4 times before you even load the page

There really should be no way a single ship can take a base.
I mean a base really should be strong enough to repel a ship that is close enough in level to attack. Regardless of how much money someone spends on their ship.
And my base isn’t weak. Sure the turrets are 1 level below my ops and I just unlocked a new research to strengthen them, but it wouldn’t have made a difference with as overpowering this ship was.

There should be a 24hr cool down on base relocation and 7day cool down on in-game name change

I think you'll always get higher level players have an advantage, and they will kick you off if they want a node. But they could at least make it less likely they'll attack an empty miner just for the lolz, if it costs them more in repair costs without rewarding any loot. And making it easier to hit miners over the protected limit & on empty nodes would make it harder for high level players to just block off nodes. I think the northstar is really bad for this - good for griefing people trying to get a decent load of g3 in envoys for their dailies, but not much else..
Also if they made you attackable based on the higher of player level and the zone you're in, it'd stop the random lvl11 that decides he wants to block off a g3 node..
players under ops lvl 18 should not be allowed to mine g3 if that is the case @undone viper

Add a visible indicator to your ship display, either on the icon at the bottom of the screen, or to the pop up when selected, to indicate the mining protected-limit. To verify protected limit when mining, you currently have to navigate away from the mine, select the ship, click Manage, and go into the ship stats to see the protected limit. It should be an easily visible indicator on the ship status icon or popup when mining.

In the arena there will be "nodes" that repair the ships but those node deplete quickly and respawn in deterrent random locations in system.
1st - 3ed places get to ware a tag in game advising players of their champion status for the following week. the tag enchances their power lvl.

How about enabling the reward button when we view our own base so we can see what is exposed (after you fix it so that this button doesn't include protected but only what you could take with your ships).
I think you should be able to dock and repair at alliance members’ based or at least switch crew around (at least bridge officers)
Also, why not a small red line on the resources view (the white bars) or a colour change to red after you’re over the protected limit.
Tell us what the warp required to access a system is ALL the time
A search for systems by name instead of coordinates
Ability to do an advanced search in the galaxy map (system by resource type, warp ability, type of ships, faction type, if there are free planets to settle, missions available and completed by system)
Reimagine the research so that what’s finished disappears or fades out so you don’t have to go back and forth to see what’s available.
Let us use partial ship experience or recruit experience (sometimes this makes the difference between being able to complete an event)
Revisit ship blue prints. They have lost their use. With minimum ship yard requirements, I get ships for free anyways. Example, I’m level 20. I have to research the Vahklas at level 22 to get it. I cannot advance my research without it. I get Vahklas blueprints from hunting but I can’t use them and I get the ship for free anyways at level 22. No one has 2 or three of these ships. Only exception is miners.
Instead, use BPs for tier upgrades. Example: you need 30 bps to build a fortunate. You should be able to tier up as usual with upgrades, but also bypass them by having multiple copies of bps. One extra set for tier 2, 2 for tier 3, 4 for tier 4, 8 for tier 5, doubling every time. This would make it still difficult to acquire but give you a reason for having bps
The refinery has no description of what happens when it levels up. It’s this black box in the game that’s not well explained. At least mention at what level you can do multiple batches. I could refine g3 at level 20 with a level 19 refinery. I don’t get why I level it up.
Does it increase my chance of getting uncommon goods? Do I get better payouts?
Please mention how much power a building or research will get me before I do it. Why does levelling ops for 4 days get me less than 1000 when other buildings like parsteel production building give me 250-500?

Bombs inside ships that can be built or bought cheaply so that if someone destroys your ship, it destroys theirs also. No usable for attacking stations, or when attacking.
Alliance hubs where you can trade with other members of your alliance, repair ships and upgrade ships and officers. Also add a resource exchange.
I think you should redesign the mission "Crisis on Praxis". I don't think that giving 1.8M dilithium for 1.3M parsteel is something that a conscious player would ever do.

Has been mention before but - have all lists cached locally (up to some high limit ofc) and updated at reconnection or when new elements arrive. This could include existing:
- battle reports
- alliance chat
- personal messages
And add: - shield activation (tokens and auto-shields) with timestamp
- shield de-activation, with timestamp and reason
give an explanation of UPCOMING events.
I think one of the most important issues would be fixing mission rewards

Federation: warp drive. Blink your ship (x) distance with a cool down of 10 seconds

stations like nodes that a ship can dock at were you can repair, upgrade and exchange crews withought having to go back to base.

Maybe this has been said, but Alliance events that give prizes for total alliance scores, not just rank. Our server has one alliance that ALWAYS ranks first. Top 2/3 are usually the same (mine being the 3rd alliance). There needs to be an opportunity for other alliances to get rewards. The puny rewards you get for 3rd place or below just make the event not really worth it for the players.
Chromebook/Box compatibility. I know the game plays on Chrombook (Playing it on a Google Pixelbook right now).
Only issues with it is every time I restart the app, it treats all viewed recruits, missions and mail as "You haven't viewed this."
Also allowing of Keyboard shortcuts for things like zooming in and out and scrolling - If we got a keyboard hooked up to it, kind of handy, especially for ChromeOS users on chromebooks.
And for phone users, would be ideal to have the display 'creep' a little to avoid things like AMOLED burn in for hours of play. The 'creep' being shifting the screen static graphics parts, like the white elements a little at a time and then reset so as to reduce the burn out of pixels, since you made this game require a bit of babysitting for long periods of times.
Rotate screen 180 every hour? Maybe an extra dark mode a possibility?
Let us pick between trit and steel (and maybe dil) as the end reward for missions.
No tool for Admirals to do the following: 1) perma-ban a player (they can change name); 2) see who is online; 3) see who contributed to an alliance event; 4) the history of names someone used in the past; and 5) the history of alliance they were in the past.
No Alliance tools for Admirals: Global messages to all members and last logged in (1 day, 2 days...), or event progress. Would like a A-Z filter.
I have an update to my previous idea about a vacation mode for the base. This should simplify your efforts a bit and produce a performance improvement for everybody else. First off, to recap, I had previously proposed a state where the game would be paused for a player who wanted to take a break. All production, research, construction and tiering up would be paused and their base would have a continuous shield.

My new idea is to create a similar state that can be used more frequently and set by the user without administrative intervention. Create a large lever on the side of the base. The lever will have an action screen just like any other building where you can read information about it and toggle its state. There will be a cooldown timer visible from this information screen. Any time the player engages in combat with another player either as aggressor or defender, the cooldown will be reset to 30 minutes. They can raise any 1 hour or greater shield to reset it back to 0.

The lever will toggle the base power and when you choose to turn it off, all the bright lighting goes dark (dim) and you hear a power drain sound like when a large factory machine might shut down. Your shield will collapse if you have one, and there is no saved state for restoring it back to the original time. I figured you would want to do this because new shield tokens override the existing shield time anyway. To the outside world, your base would look like a metal spherical cage, and not a base at all. They won’t be able to select it, or gain any data from it. The sphere will just be a place holder so they know why they can’t port in. With no data to share with all the other players, this will reduce the amount of data to broadcast to the players in the system (or looking in the system view).

When power goes out, all current resource production stops, as if the storage was full. All time remaining on research, construction, ship building or tiering is recorded and saved for use later. The player must have all ships recalled to station, and be in the station view to activate the lever. When power is out, they are blind to the universe around them. They can only view the interior view of the station. This is to prevent them from using the free protection to look around and make plans.

When the lever is turned back on, this cooldown timer should be set to 4 hours. In this state, a 1 hour shield may not be used. This prevents shorting the timer. Both cooldown times help prevent abuse of this feature. The player sacrifices all progress when they choose to pause their game state like this. Bringing power back on should restore lighting, continue all production and anything else that a timer was recorded for, and allow the player to view the exterior or system once more.

You may be concerned that this feature may reduce the need for shields, and thus lower your revenue on purchases that include them. I argue that people who pay to play are going to want production running all the time to advance and gain the advantage over more casual players. Most free to play players will still recognize the need to remain active if they want to grow. Setting a paused state when they will not be active will help reduce the amount of data being broadcast to other players and improve overall system performance.
A gentle suggestion. Please take all g2 RSS and 2* ship parts out of 100$ packs. I am not spending cash to buy stuff that is easily farmable. I am spending cash because I want the g3 RSS and 3* ship parts. I am presently lvl 24 and my 2* ships have been collecting dust for a while.
BORG space.
Make it a zone, like a faction, but with no interaction. Missions may be given to infiltrate BORG Space, but only a very select few will be given from it. When in BORG Space, you may be targeted by any Cube vessel in the entirety of BORG Space. If that Cube catches you, the Ship and it's Officers become irretrievable until a 'Rescue' cooldown has occured. BORG Space contains valuable resources not found anywhere else. BORG Cubes cannot be defeated outside of particular circumstances.

Suggestion: Make base scans show the "over protected" amount, not the total amount like you have with active miners. Raiders will know what they truly have to gain in an attack.

Has probably been said countless of times, but the whole mission system needs to be completely remade. Or at least a level restriction on missions as a quick fix for new incoming players. I for example have my mission-book full, can't accept any more missions, yet all of them require me to destroy ships for which I need a few months of power growth or require ridiculous amounts of resources for a much smaller reward.

Please move the Locate button up and away from the Recall button. On phones where the screen is small it is easy to hit the recall button when resetting a mine (2x 7-min warps and lost the mine)

i think for balance the game should run in pvp tiers. for example the tier3 ships start at 20 and end around 30 when the t4 or faction ships are more common so the t3 pvp tier would be 20-30. now while in that tier you can only fight ships and bases within that tier. the first ship being a kehra is the answer to the last ship being the kumari, and puts more balance and perspective into the game. now im not real sure what the tier 2 ship range is bu i think it ends around 20 as well. so tier 2 would be 10-20 althought the bases are restricted at 15 for attack, but this is a good way to balance the game in my opinion. this also makes the combat triangle very much more relative
thusly the first tier of pvp would 1-10.

theres no real reason this cant be implemented and considered more fair than whats already on the table
another additional idea could be added for play as well if the above was implemented. instead of displaying a players level you display the players tier for pvp. it would make sense that an opponent would be more required to scan for details of the ship. and not instantly be looking for the easy kill. simply by the player levels. this puts a bigger risk into combat and hides intel from the aggressor but still allows for him to scan a ship for potential combat. but it doesnt mean the player is weak simply cause his miner is scanned as a potential target. he might be surprised by a retaliation of a ship much more powerful than he can handle.
when 2 foes meet in space for the firsttime. theres no encyclopedia of technology and skill revealed simply by proximaty. its thru combat we learn the potential of an enemy force or ship. and knowing everything there is to know about a target befor combat is just not how it should work. yeah there are scanners . and yes you get intel from scanners. but realistically when kirk encountered khan in the reliant. he didnt who it was commanding it , let alone know khans player level. first.
When you gonna fix the notifications? When you put out a new version of the app I delete and reinstall it. Now and since a couple of updates ago I have no notifications on my iPhone X. The option is not listed in notifications view on the iPhone. It is switched on in the app.
Please allow us to swap bridge crew around during flights and not have to return to the station. Of course only crew members assigned to the particular ship. It's really boring to have to wait 10 minutes just to swap the captain because the wrong one for that mine is assigned. Waiting for that is really boring.
Let's introduce the Borg to Fleet Command with a dual-event leaderboard: A Cube enters from the fringes of space. It assimilates players that are caught in it's path as it moves system to system. Once assimilated, a player joins the Borg leaderboard and earns points for defeating other player ships and stations. When you raid a station, that player then becomes assimilated as well. On the other side, the free players earn points for defeating Borg ships and stations. When they raid a player, it frees them from the collective. At the end of the event, the side with the biggest score wins.
Increas available material storage so a player can build his station upgrade without the need to raid.
The vault size is increasing - great. Can we make the resources shown as raidable subtract this protected cargo? This would be consistent with overloaded miners. With the increased variation in protected base cargo there will be a lot of hit and miss which just wastes resources for everyone. (As per @regal fractal above)
We should have a ladder system which resets every month or so. So that alliances of similar strength are grouped together in the same server. Its ridiculous that my server only has 2 major alliances. Other alliances simply cannot grow because they simply get bottomfed and their players just leave. How does the devs expect to sustain the game like this?
Suggestion: a new ship rigged with explosives. Attacking it will let it explode but take up to 90% of attacking ships hull with it.

I hear a “reverse warp” button may be coming but even just a “cancel warp” button would do. You have 5 seconds spin up before the ship warps so you should be able to shut it down in that window.

The UI needs a clear indicator for protected limits on ships. Maybe put a tick mark on the cargo bar where the limit is and change the color of the cargo bar and the ring around the mining timer when the protected limit is exceeded.

You should get a push notification when a ship that is mining hits its protected limit, not just when the node is depleted.

The UI needs a clear and definitive display of your base’s protected resources. Between vaults, prime protection research, and the three resource protection researches it is difficult to come up with your precise protected limit.

When you scan a base it should show only the amount over the protected limit like it does for ships. Presently it’s a bit of guesswork to figure out how much may be lootable and many people waste resources hitting bases that aren’t worth the repairs.
Changing mining. Don't put 1 ship on a mine for 5hrs to mine 10k of res have it that you put ships on the mine to hold it. Each mine is a different level and gives different level of boost to your production so your level of res in the base is always climbing. This could be for para trit and dil mines only. You have 5 slots of ships on each space dock so this is where you use your 5 ships place all 5 of one type into a mine and they hold the mine this way you are having players build all their ships and also levelling them up making 2* materials matter in the game even after you have hit level 22. You place 5 2* battleships on the mine and they protect the mine till they have been destroyed or till you recall them. PvP is increased over players fighting for higher level mines to hold and players will always have res in the base over protected limits @austere sand <@&509690795536941056>

@copper brook an AMAZING feature that should be pretty easy for Scopely to implement would be a way to download the battle log in text format. Preferably select all the logs you want and download them all in 1 text file, just save to local disk or whatever.
It's painstaking to analyze these in the UI they have... A text log would allow a 3rd party to make some really nice log analyzers that would benefit the players and Scopely both.

Idea! If you not in the Galaxy UI (for example Chat) there is no visualation if someone attack you. The red alert and sound doesn‘t work there. Thats the reason why I have lost attacks for three times. Could this make possible asap?
Please remove the green button on the main screen that accepts rewards for completed missions. Just leave that yellow exclamation button as is so you have to click into the mission list to collect rewards. So many times I have accidentally tapped that green button and collected rewards now I have to shield till I’m ready to use and removes an enormous amount of joy from this game
You need to change the 8 hour peace shields to longer. Obviously you do have 1 day ones, but it’s completely absurd that I have to set my shield immediately before going to bed. Ships who had cleared a res nice should automatically return home, or just leave the node.... I’d like to throw out a couple of ideas, and I’m sorry if somebody else already though of it.
The Hanger: I get that it allows for open slots of ships, but the strength points of those ships are not counted towards the base as far as I can tell, only when you make them active on a dry dock. If I have 10 ships in reserve, then the strength points of those ships should be summed into the base total. If someone is attacking your base, are you really going to leave all your defending ships in a hanger.
Swap repairs: again if I have ships in reserve, we should have the option to put them in the hanger for repairs and swap it for another ship. You can slow down repair times since it isn’t on an active dry dock, but it puts the hanger more into the game.
Lastly: scrapping old ships for parts. I’m probably never going to drag out a realta again, so why let it sit. Allow is the option to scrap it and maybe get .5 to .75 salvage value for the rss and parts originally put in.

@ocean zephyr I like that idea, but as you may know g3 refines at a much lower rate than g2, I think I had to get to lvl 22 before I was allowed to refine 15k of g3, until then it was 1750 every 9 hours.
IRL I’m an accountant, and I have to address the efficiency levels, and the higher production values don’t make sense. If I’m making more of something, it should cost me less than making one batch. The game model is you need more to get more batches, so again punishing the people that are more loyal. If 1 batch is 3000, then 3 batches should be less than 9000, not 15000. 5 batches should be 15,000, not 50k, same with recruit tokens, yes 1 is 20 and 3 are 60, that math works, but add incentive. 3 are 55, etc.
Make Nero burning 3 rounds (giving it 2 rounds of burning). One round is not enough and is useless compared to Kirk. Let us use Romulans in Romulan ships.
@austere sand since mines have an essentially unlimited supply of material they may as well automatically refresh when they hit zero. People would mine more at all hours and there would be more opportunities to pirate over protected capacity cargo from inattentive players.

Instead of an instant mine reset that we have to wait for, how about setting it so that they continuously accumulate resources at a fixed rate (say 5k/hr) and when being mined, if the mining rate is faster, the mine will eventually run dry and you will only mine at that 5k rate but if you mine slower than that, then it will continue to grow slower based on the difference. The mine can still stop when it reaches it's cap, but then there will no longer be a need to reset a node and miners will get juicy rather than let a node run dry.
Once officers are released (event or otherwise) they should be made available in the recruitment chests. It was near impossible to get enough credits to get one of the officers last event against the 2M+ hostile (and I am level 29), and I just scraped through on the last day and got Harrison, he will never be able to be promoted as he is not in the recruit chest drops.

Don’t know if it’s been suggested before. But would be nice to name ships, and, more importantly, mark enemy fleets in a different colour. For example if you are allied with one fleet maybe they can have yellow letters above their ships and bases and make warring fleets red or blue or whatever. Controlled just by the admirals in each fleet so it doesn’t get too messy

This is not the first time I have said this but.. Why are you guys adding new stuff when you still have all of the old stuff that still doesn't work? You need to fix the game first before you add new content.
My idea
1)create a friends list. Quite a few people, in other factions, that i like speaking to. It should be mutual add, like facebook. Your friends ships are color coded to help prevent accidental hit
2)if you head towards a mine, and AFTER you engage, someone gets there first, your ship diverts so as not to cause an accidental fight. This happens with alliance members and your own ships
3) have alliance pacts, in game, that creats joint alliance chat room as well as allows leaders to prevent team members from hitting alliance.
4)restrict other alliances from copying the names of other teams with funky characters (e.g. T with a line through it). We have one alliance that changes its name to make it look like they are another alliance. then they attavk other folks to start fights. This is abusing the ascii character set...its cheating...creative, but still cheating
It would be sweet if we had mission computer we could go take random NPC missions from to complete for RSS. Like in the old Privateer games. Just something to have fun with and get some rewards in our free time. I'd really enjoy that.

I have a suggestion because people’s time is precious, surely you can speed up the travel warp time of all the ships by 3-5x? Everyone’s time is precious and I find it ridiculous that I need to wait 10-15 minutes depending on the ship to wait for it to go back to the base to be emptied and then another 15 minutes to go back to the mine to continue mining so a round trip for a simple task takes up to 30 mins which is kinda absurd amount of time. I think this should be compressed considerably as currently, some players are exploiting this and attacking a base or ships and you have no means of being able to zoom to the combat zone to help defend your alliance as it takes 5 or 10 mins to do so by which time the aggressor is long gone
May be one officier can offer a Spore drive type function so that at least you can get 1 ship to instantly go to battle and assist in an emergency situation
Also the mechanics of requiring all the ships to be back at base before you can relocate your base is also cumbersome. It would be nice if we can relocate base anytime
And we need a view button next to the ships that we can select that allows us to inspect systems without the risk of sending any ships out accidentally
Allow switching of officers from seat to seat, within same ship, outside of base, and allow changing of officers from damaged/repairing ships in dock. Having to wait upwards of 2+ hours to repair in order to gain access to an officer on that ship, is a bit rediculous.
Perhaps a group combat system for the bosses, you know, those 2.2m power commanders, maybe give nice rewards and make them a sort of raid boss that rewards all who participated in it, instead of only an average hostile reward for the one killing blow. (Maybe like a party system of 2-4+ players to split rewards equally, level range restrict party members to curb exploiting/carrying).
Add a friends list.... It is a very social MMO, having friend list would make things much easier.
Transwarp gates from certain key/hub systems across galaxy for faster long distance travel. Or spore drive with reasonable cooldown, to 'instant' a warp travel.
Raise 3* uncommon/rare refines to be at least 2x current rates so it isnt such a 'pay wall', or make the Bonus Refines a regularly scheduled thing, at least one day a week.
Reinforce alliance members base defences with your ships. Allow us to add our ship into an alliance members base to help defend, for when a player is being hit relentlessly and isn't online to shield, gives us a chance to more effectively defend them.
Would be good if alliance could send help for tiering up ships

With mining nodes that change from one thing to another, why can we not vacate an empty node, change command, then get back on the new node? 5) Alliance battle logs. Why can we not access battle reports to help our alliance? 6) Uncommon/Rare material drop rate is absolutely stupid. You are trying to FORCE purchasing by creating impatience. 7) If you can’t make sure ALL of the mining nodes are working, then stop with the mining events! It seems that nodes that were working, stop when the event starts. 🤔 8) Allow alliance rss sharing. 9) Allow alliance docking support for defense. 10) Allow alliance help for tiering ships.
- Scan alerts. Why is there no kind of alert for incoming scans? 12) Why is the only alert for an attack against you, a small red flash on the targeted ship...or an after the fact offline notification. Why I enter Klingon space, my screen lights up like the 4th of July...why would it not do the same for an incoming hostile player? And why not a Yellow Alert flash when being scanned?
- Add more g3 material nodes outside of faction space!! It is almost impossible to mine gas and crystal, with me being hostile with Feds and Klingons

In the military, its all about how fast you can mobilize the right troops for the right job. Too slow, and you lose, but if you are too fast you have the advantage. Introduce: Quick Swap: Choose the officers u want, and their positions, and u can move them in and out of ships in one click (as long as officer is not deployed). Have mining swap, base attack swap, hostile swap. One click puts in your chosen team on the ship. It will allow players to use more cards, vs defaulting to a set few
Maybe shields that work and possibly team of individuals that could make a game that works...yea that would be awesome but hey make more events instead of fixing your shitty game.

Has any thought been put into having like a maxium of 3 or 5 officers assigned to the base. I realize there is a group of officers that buff the base when assigned to a ship when it's docked. It might be cool to have other officers that could be assigned to a base instead and maybe these officers can be on a cool down or something
I have asked the devs to kill those message boxes. Nothing happens. Can we even have settings to disaple those message boxes other than base attacks.
And one big bug, every time if base attac occurs the game is frosen and you take a lot of seconds trying to setup peaceshield. Game freezes for the moment...
for the daily goals can the loyalty badge be given at the 3rd tier and on the 4th tier it's 3 cause it would make people more happy than waiting to get it everyday now and what on
Refinery suggestion (The batches are more or less okay as a mechanic, but really should be more like 10k, 20k, 40k, 80k, 160k...... as one upgrades the refinery and add grade every 10 levels):
Level 10-19:
- 2* resources = 5 common, 1 uncommon minimum, per batch, then let RNG act as "kicker"
level 20-29:
- 2* resources = 10 common, 2 uncommon minimum, per batch (same)
- 3* resources = 10 common, 1 uncommon minimum, per batch, (as above, but for 3*). Rare should be left to RNG for these levels.
level 30-39:
- 2* resources = 20 common, 4 uncommon minimum, per batch (same)
- 3* resources = 20 common, 2 uncommon, 1 Rare minimum, per batch, then allow RNG to be the "kicker" again.
level 40-49:
- 2* resources = 40 common, 8 uncommon minimum, per batch (same)
- 3* resources = 40 common, 4 uncommon, 2 Rare minimum, per batch, etc..
I think you get the idea. With the batch sizes I said at the start, this is all base 10, and geometric. Much easier coding in general, flexible, and scalable as the game continues. As the station and ship upgrades are clearly more than geometric, this wouldn't unduly unbalance anything except in the rarest of luck cases (they should play the lottery).

Can we get a new slot in the space station. Sorta like drydock, but this could be "station command crew". Basically, you could assign your station defense officers here, just like a ship, but it won't leave. Think of the command crew of DS9.

Add to the NEWS & INFO category a discussion for "status of known issues" where only moderators can add to but everybody can use emoticons to comment, kind of like you did with part of the Q&A responses before. Updates should include new reports, established priorities set on them, and any progress estimates you can share in some brief format. To make changes, edit text rather than posting new content. This will keep it clean and easy to read, then people won't keep spamming you with the same bug thinking it might not have been reported before because there's just too much content in the general bug-reporting discussion to search through, especially when many reports are just images and can't be searched the way text can.
I would like to suggest that officers set favorites be added. So that you can build your officer deployment for each dock then set them as favorite. There could be 3 different setups it would include all officers in all docks and all ships would need to be docked to allow the quick swap.
FRIENDS LIST. It's annoying as hell to have to search through a zillion alliances just to try to find someone again (assuming they are in that same alliance)
ENEMIES LIST. It's also annoying that griefers can just change their name and alliance to assume new identities. Make people take responsibility for their actions by not allowing them to hide.
TRADING. Allow us to trade whatever crap we've acquired to anyone we choose. If you're afraid of abuse by high powered peeps giving their second accounts a lot of crap, just set a limit, like 1% or less can be given per day or per week or something. That way if someone has 500 million Tritanium, they can only give 5 million at most per week. Or just decrease the 1% down to fractions of a % as the total amount someone has goes up.
Blueprints, RSS, peace shields, whatever.
Or put a cap even.
That way also if you have say 55 people in an alliance, and someone got cleaned out good, they won't just quit your game. YOU LOSE MONEY. You lose paying people. We had a person who paid you guys A SHIZIT ton of money rage quit after being raided.
That way the entire alliance can pitch in at 1% or less, and the person can be at least functional without just sitting at their base, waiting for Dilithium to generate!

Idea: Random NPC bases.
Suggestion: Tripple event awards. For example the big mining events: the top one player gets 25 uncommon. He has to win 4 entire events to get as much uncommon as can be bought in one big pack. That is absolutely redicoulus. The top 25 players of every server have all spent more than 1000 euros on this game. Only they can win single player events anyways so give back a little by adjusting event awards.
The ability to stack shields would be nice. 8 hours isn't long enough to cover the normal working day and it would be good to be able to add on a couple of 1 hour shields to make up the difference

We are having trouble about Players that sit on empty mining spots for very long times. This blocks the regeneration and makes it hard for weaker players to find a spot. Shooting down the asteroid pooper is very costly for the victim, so why not adding a 3 Minute countdown auto recall (that you can interrupt) , when a mining Spot is depleted? Please put it on the list. It would solve a lot of problems on our Server and probably all others too.
Im sure scoopley would make money if they offered up a fat wad of faction rep for money ... like +10k faction A / - 5k faction B+C. This wouild appeal to those fked over by dodgy dailies, and help others reverse to 'storyline' fed progression earlier. you could charge $5-$10 for this, and people wouild pay <@&509691205798592532> @austere sand

We need at LEAST a 5 minute sanctuary period whenever we start mining, this getting knocked off of every single node in the game by massively overpowered players thing is getting really old nad pissing off virtually everyone. How about some game balance Scopely?!!!
No one ever battles warships, it's just one big miner killing gangbang, all day, every day.
Warp Core Breach Ability.
If a survey ship is actively mining a node (NOT on a zero node) and is destroyed by a player while the mining survey ship is under cap, the warp core of the under cap mining survey ship explodes for 10 times the amount of total power of the ship against the attacker. Example, a 10K Fortunate would explode for 100K in damage to the attacking ship. Damage to the attackers shield first, then hull.
On a lot of servers, the griefing of miners by very powerful players is ruining the game and forcing people to quit faster than Scopely’s over priced packs. This would help level the playing field a bit.

Cooldown after leaving an alliance.
Currently being used as an exploit for free speed boosts, basically negating the need to use speed tokens. You leave and rejoin your alliance to reset your counters. You can do this an unlimited amount of times and as long as your alliance is active, a 5 day build cant take 10-15 minutes.

@austere sand The rewards for doing your dailies need to be better balanced. I am lvl 29 and I get about 300k trilithium per day from dailies and April elite pack. That is enough to repair my ship twice.
I like this game and I already have spent some money on it. As long as it is pay to advance that is fine with me but pay just to play that will be the moment I quit.
@austere sand while I am at it something needs to be done about the generators. So far they have been entirely useless. Since lvl 15 I think I could not use them at all. Since my storage was always full. Why do you not introduce a two way storage for materials: 1. raided and bought: not protected at all. 2. produced and mined

we should be able to Sell our old ships! Value based on the level and/or power they're reached. It's a shame and such a waste that we spend so much time and effort getting them up there and then once we level past them, they just sit there collecting dust.

Please indicate on the mission list the level of power needed to finish the mission so we don't have to keep checking manually over and over again. Would be a Huge time saver and eliminate a considerable amount of frustration and annoyance.
These top three are seldom done within 1 or 2 days when you reach higher levels. I think at level 18 and up they should either be reduced in qty or removed as you can't expect them to be "daily" goals if it takes more than a day to complete a building or research in many cases. Then with that, the number of points required to unlock all the top chests should be reduced as well. I have to mine 10k gas and 10k ore (both G3) now to satisfy two faction dailies in addition to generic hostile killing just to get enough points to unlock that last chest.

Agree with rrvoyager. That is a standard feature in other games of this type. Also you should be able to transport crew between ships if in the same system...we have matter transporters!!! And a ability to to drop a ship out of warp and change destination would be good. The number of times I have sent the wrong ship is untrue. Even if it is just at the next system on the path....but yeah combining a number of common to get uncommon and upgrade from 2 to 3* on ore gas and crystal would be awesome!!
You need to put 3* crystal in federation space, not just Klingon and romulan.
Let players add on to shield time or provide other shields like 2, 6 and 10 hour shields
There should be easier ways to get higher resources, blueprints, construction, research, etc., without paying high prices for "special deals". Make packets available at lower prices ($10 or less), allow us to trade or sell lower or common items to get higher and uncommon/rare items, and others as people have suggested.

Until you get the Zevis bug fixed, how about making every base raid protected without bubbles. That way we can all focus on growing through mining and killing hostiles. PvP hits will still need to be allowed to clear off empty nodes though. Then maybe you can have one day of "Purge" every week where bases go back to normal so we can vent our grievances against those who hit miner for PD only.
@cold kite would it be possible to consider swapping out destroyed ships for healthy ships? People will still have to repair, but it would make all ships more important and give people reasons to build multiples and keep upgrading them. Just a thought 😊

The warp range system makes no sense. How can systems be a certain warp distance away regardless of where you are located? And why can I reach systems in Romulan space when my base is way over in Fed space with any of my ships, but if I move my base much closer into the neutral space near Romulan space, now I can’t even get into Romulan space without using Scotty?it makes no sense.
I don't think you can with all your ships. Test against the first two you build. You should be blocked from leaving your immediate ring. Even the ECS Fortunate can only go one or two nodes in to any faction space. I think the idea here is that the closer to the center of the galaxy you get, the more energy you need to form a warp bubble, kind of like it has to battle the vortex of the galaxy or something like that.

Significantly lower, or better yet remove the cooldown on the refinery. that would greatly reduce the frustrations with the refined goods (i.e. getting uncommon drops). There's already a limit on how fast we can mine materials, why does there also have to be a limit on how often we can refine them? Illogical.

Can we get rid of the redundant mission dialogue when you log in? This is a game of seconds. When you're in the middle of battle, or you're in a hostile system beimg chased by a patrol ship, you need those seconds. Everyone knows the app sometimes crashes (I do have a good tablet) and I've lost ships and resources and cargo (and my alliance has been less protected during an alliamce raid) by having to punch through text I've seen 100 times about leveling something up when starting up. Has anyone suggested having the ability to scap unused ships for resources? I have dozens of ships that will never be used again. I know the ships apply toward your overall power rating..but if you don't care about a meaningless stat you should be able to obtain a fair amount of the resources back that you put into building. I think a fair return would be a 50% return. Nothing lower than that.

i've never bothered with a shield, you never get notified of an attack, and smart players park right next to you so you don't have time to shield up, and when you put up the shield you literally can't do anything while its up or they can attack through it.
Can we get a timed system cleaning respawn of all hostiles so that literally every system in the galaxy is not clogged up with hostiles that no one wants to destroy? 10 minutes would be a good interval, have it coincide with the 10 minute gift box. this is a major issue affecting all players.

We wouldn't need any inconsistent rules like RoE, which vary from alliance to alliance, if Scopely made minor changes (get it, minor/miner, i love puns):
- You get half Power Destroyed when a surveyor is on a node.
- Surveyors get a 100% (double) hull bonus when actively mining.
- Surveyors get a 100% protected cargo bonus when on a node.
Maybe the bonus can be a research item that gradually build up to 100%.
Then maybe we'll get less people crying over miner hits.

Is there a logical reason why you can't change destination mid-warp? I even saw big, stupid Worf do it on DS9, so how hard can it be?
Plus I would like some more alliance features, like a alliance shipyard that gives you bonuses on ship build, repair cost, ship power and whatnot.
I think it would be a great idea if we could recycle ships not being used any longer to recover some of the resources- and it may even teach youngsters that there is a benefit to recycling!

👆 we've had that in other games so it's not a new concept. Maybe something you need to research first.
Would be cool if players who are allied to a faction (ie Tolerated and above) could be encouraged to PVP versus players allied to a different faction trespassing in their faction’s home territory. Perhaps the “home” player could be granted an automatic attack buff in that situation and the reward could be a guaranteed PVP crate with enhanced rewards.
I think you should be unable to shield for a short period of time (10-15 min) after you hit someone. That way you are open for counter attacks
Why can’t we manage a ship’s officers when they are not docked? Now that we have these systems with dual mines, swapping officers now takes 20 minutes (10 min to/from base), and a second ship to hold your spot. Please consider allowing the Manage Officer to be a thing.

Reduce the cost of the offers in store. They used to be £4.99 now £19.99 that's ridiculous. They're photons! There is NO additional cost to you. Just plain greedy. I don't see any reason why it should cost so much. Many of the players can't afford to pay to play - and it continues to get worse. It wouldn't be so bad if you got value for money, or if the game didn't have so many bugs issues and crashes!
I think its, already been mentioned however, it should be again. Top Tier alliances are far my dangerous to my ships than Rival Factions. Can you flip flop the Alerts level displayed when targeted by a player verse a hostile or make them both equally obvious.

I have 30M tritanium that I would like to donate to my alliance. Why must I push the "donate 30k trit" button 1,000 times to donate it? That is just silly.
Furthermore, at level 18, with 96k AP required, I would have to hit the button almost 10,000 times to level the alliance.
EASY FIX: What is desperately needed is the ability to say how much trit/dil/lat I want to donate, and let it all happen in 1 button press. Like when I spend speedups, I don't have to click the 1 minute speedup 500 times, I can just say use 500 of these. Same thing but for the Alliance Contribution page.

For the love of god please give an attack bonus for hitting the bellends that think parking battleships on mining nodes is a good idea. They're getting bugger all mats out of it, and just occupying nodes that other people use. I don't care if they're trolling or trying to reserve it, just make it easier to punish this behaviour.
What we really need is to make it easier to gain Tritanium, the other resources are not hard to get or keep for the most part.

Ok, so, we need to fix the privat message system so we stop lossing our messages.

Why is the crew assigned to the dry dock, and not the ship? I would prefer to be able to setup specific crew for each ship, regardless of which dock I put it in; rather than have my crew change if I assign a ship to a different dock.
We should incorporate a grouping forthe officers so that way we can just pick on the group and bam it's on the ship.
We shou also be able to assign officers to the sation it's self.
Totally agree with being able to assign officers to the station, I would love that for station defense.

The market is not made yet. Ther is none 50 level player knowsn I think. Highest one I have heard being 44 level

Instead of a 10-min auto shield timer, just allow shields to stack (e.g. 2x 4-hour and a 1-hour for a total of 9 hours of peaceful sleep each night).

I have an idea. Allow the officers to level like ships do. Keep the officer xp for promotions but let them level with the ship. Doesnt have to be the whole crew, bridge officers would be fine.
I have an idea to improve a problem with the killing of mining ships. Sometimes you see battleships entering a mining system and killing lots of miners, regardless if they will earn cargo or not. My suggestion would be, that you get NO XP, NO PVP BOX and NO STATISTICS INCREASE for killing mining ships. So except for the cargo, the repair bill would be everything such a player would get. I guess this would cause a change in player behavior. Players would search for miners with cargo and leave the other miners alone because attacking them would provide no benefit. Players might still kill for the mining spot or for other reasons (Revenge, War, you name it...), that's probably ok 😉
@lean light Those reasons are only excuses. No one kills empty for xp, box or statistics. It's always to feel superior and to heal ego and to fill a void in heart. With strong enough ship the repair bill cost is minimal, untill there is a big drawback you'll see emotionally damaged people doing that..
Thanks for your comment @burnt forum. This might be true, however all those excuses would be invalid if my suggestion would be implemented. Maybe it's only a small improvement, maybe it doesn't change anything at all. Maybe it is not even noticed or considered ;-)

Give us the ability to stack our own, or alliance ships on mining nodes... limited to 2 or 3 whatever... Stacked ships compound defenses to help our miners stay alive for more than 3 minutes...

I wish they could increase of mining vessels quite lot. At levels up from 20 you need to gather millions of parsteel. Currently with 3 maxed envoys, I can manage daily about 900k or 1M f My carge vessels are nut struk before they are 80k
So till example we take 1M goal for day to mine, It takes several days just to mine to get to 4-6M goal to pay one building. Since game incorporates yet another mines with datapads it takes your time naturally away from parsteel as do ore mines and rest grade3 mines. I wish the game should boost I think envoys atleast 50% so it can take about 2M in a day. Currently game is incorporating so new node types so your dailies rutines are maxed anyways and you cant mine with 3 vessels parsteel whole day. This makes you force to use Raids for cauple hours per day. On erelocation token to planet, Ride everybody there, conitnue mining.

22h cooldown instead of 24 everywhere yes. guarding battleship does not solve anything, there is always bigger fish. PvE base raids would be unnecessary if NPCs did drop meaningfull rewards. And yes the storage generator refinery and all game prices need economy rebalance.
It's mainly for guarding from ppl who use tallas and g2 ships to grieve. Also, NS can be protected that way, so that it has a chance after the first ship weakens the opponent.
Basically making miner and battleship like mini base, true, won't work every time, but at least ppl wo be able to clear entire system without repairing

G3 uncommon refining. I think it should be guaranteed that once your refinery hits a certain level. No matter what batch size you do, you get g3 uncommon, doesn't need to be much. The thing that should differ is how much. You should never hit refine and get absolutely none and then wait for hours and hours to try again. At ops 27 nearly everything i research or upgrade needs uncommon materials and its so hard to come by that i am getting close not not having other research/buildings on the go until i've saved enough for the thing i want. Which could take months at this rate.
@austere sand ca we get a pill to cut the refinery timer from 9 hours to 4 hours. That’s much easier than tweaking the return rate equation for rates and uncommon. The return rate is already a sufficient control mechanism to the amount of materials available.

At this point in time I’ve directed our members to use it to keep safe under the condition they do not hit anything else as it’s not fair. @compact cipher that wouldn't work at all as @woeful raft said, at current mining speeds for most people 12k per 9 hours is fine. If you dropped to 4 hour refinery timer you would need to be able to mine at at a faster rate to keep up and protected cargo would need to be increased on mining ships to accomodate. It would solve nothing. Having a guaranteed 5 or 10 g3 uncommon every refine (for each type, ore/crystal/gas) would mean you can at least say it'll take x amount of time bare minimum to reach your goals. Randomising a "bonus" amount would be better. Even at 5 uncommon g3 ore for example, 10 a day would take me 23 days to go from 0 to 230 g3 ore to get ops 28. Not only that but there are other upgrades and research requiring it. At the moment it's likely to take me well over a month to get that much g3 for one upgrade.
@timid perch another option for the mining rates would be that if you put a miner on a dock you get the option to send out all miners or 5 miners and all are controlled under that dock so you can mine more
Yeah not against increasing mining rates at all, dilithium is also becoming a problem for me too without raiding. But definitely need to increase the chances of getting uncommon g3 materials. There are too many things that require it and you don't get it often enough/it's not guaranteed

@vocal sandal That may be the case but not everyone can devote as much time to the game as others can, to me it makes more sense to give people some idea of what to expect when they hit the "refine button", I don't really care about the mining rates, they are fine (barring dilithium which could do with a boost, maybe bigger nodes and more of them) .
If you were guaranteed a small amount each time, you could at least get an idea of how long you'll be waiting (maximum) before you can upgrade that thing. Whilst lowering the time before you can refine again isn't a bad thing, nothing against it, would much rather know that when i hit the refine button, I'm going to get at least a little of the thing I'm grinding for
@timid perch of course not everyone will be able to use it, but it isn't much different than not being able to pick up the 10 minute crate every time it pops up... at the moment I have over 100K of each 3* resource and that number usually increases because I mine more than I can use, and that's even with the mining data event, doing all daily attack options and parking the ships at my base for long times..
I do like the idea of a guaranteed amount as well 😉
@nova brook yeah i don't disagree with lowering, just would much prefer having a guaranteed amount of uncommon each time even if its just 5 or even 2! lol there should be a bonus chance (which would essentially be the current way it's done) to get more. If that makes sense? I don't think it'd be too hard to implement and wouldn't have too negative an impact on other game mechanics/balance

It's almost like (gasp) they have no idea how their ships and warp even works. They just randomly sprinkled the resources around and amazingly, random isn't very good.

The early-mid 30s is a key warp boundary in how their ships tier up
So it's crazy there is no way to get G3 crystal at that level
And warp 40 is another natural boundary, and yet there is no way to get G3 gas other than to fight with lower level players
Yes it's true there are a few crystal nodes in neutral space, but nothing at all compared to how much gas and ore there is (30s)
Same problem exists for gas at 40 -- there are 2 gas nodes in neutral space, and no system with dedicated gas
I usually take antares to lvl 40 klingon space and fed spaec. Can't find ore in rom space within antrares range

as someone who has spent about $10k on buying officer upgrade packs, it is impossible to get scotty to warp 5. they don't give you enough upgrade tokens for him. purples, blues, i have them comin out my ears. but that stupid grey scotty, can't get any upgrades for him lol.
speaking of which, it's really stupid that their officer upgrade packs don't let you upgrade scotty or the other greys.
I got Scotty to 5 by buying standard recruit chests. Lots. 10 chests at 400 lat a time.

The amount of resources protected by Resource Vaults is way to off balance. With this there is almost no player base to raid on my server.
If possible please change back to how it was or slightly increase imo, like:

Tritanium - new - 50,000

Give us the option to join daily reputation events for any reputation, not just ones we're friendly with. With +500k fed rep and rather negative the other 2, there's no practical way i can ever change reputations now as i need to do the fed gas collection and one set of klingon kills just to collect my daily chests, and the rep gains i get from those alone will counter any reasonable amount of fed kills i farm just to try and reset my reputation.
Still I think the easiest thing to fix the economy of the game would be to add an exchange (make it an upgradable building or something if you have to) that allows you to exchange one resource for another:
Parsteel - Tritanium
Tritanium - Dilithium
G2 to G3
G3 - G4
1* BP for 2*
2* BP for 3*
and so on
I just realized that the order you unlock ships gives a class advantage to the upper level player. For instance, take these four ships. When you get the Phin, you are already outclassed by players 2 levels up. They already get strength advantages from being 2 levels above you, but do they really deserve the class advantage too? I guess it's too late to reverse the order in which you get new ships or to even change the class triangle because of the officers designed around them. No wonder players struggle so much when they enter PvP levels.
If you want to solve a lot of problems and/or complaints about resources all Scopely needs to do is increase the mining rate of all ships. The mining rate of the Botany bay even when not leveled up allows players to gather resources rather quickly. If this level of mining was allowed in regular nodes (non data nodes) the fighting over resources would cease. The time restraints on refining them would stay the same..so people would not be leveling up super fast. It would give most players hope that they could progress in the game instead of feeling stuck.
Please: I would very much like to know my exact fraction points. It should not be to hard to implement that in the next update. It is annoying to guess where one might be...
The bottle necks though isn't just mining, but also the refining gambling when you have Ships, Buildings and Research that do take sums of not only the mined resources, but also uncommon and sometimes rare level which often times is not realistically seen with the refineries.
What more, the demands from the said things (Ships, Buildings, Research) is often a heavy drain on said refined resources, especially if you want to be reasonably competitive against other players.
Please fix the officer descriptions. At least in German they often do not match what you get

So far I have killed over 5,000 Roms level 31+. I have 5 of 100 BPs for the Valkis. The grind is insane, ore is the #1 most needed resource, but because I was stupid and chose to ally with Feds (gas is worthless compared to ore and crystal) I am grinding, grinding, grinding trying to get more ore.
Secondly, please make gas useful for more things, or give us a way to convert resources from one type to another.

@crystal hedge I'm getting tired of farm trek. Mining is 99% of the game. Rewards are to low, dailies are to low , even events are to low. To much outgoing RSS verses incoming. Mining would fix the over all issue. There going to have to reduce the cost of upgr6on ships majorly to fix this broken economy

I do agree that the “austerity” measures in the game seem to have made many galaxies dry up on basic resources though which only hurts the smaller players more because the bigger players pick the bones of anyone in their level range
I got emptied of 15M resources because of a bug that Scopely won’t reimburse for so I went raiding what I could which was lvl 19/20s that had maybe 1/2 Horizon loads only
This is a successful idea used in other games with clans/alliance. Allow members to donate unwanted materials (blueprints, parts, 2 star refined etc) into an alliance bank, perhaps even sell them for alliance credits. Then other members could buy them using same currency.

Have a support that actually support would be a good thing. 2nd day now where I can't build a ship and have been told issue is being looked in but no time frame as to when it will be sorted so will have to just keep trying and hope it works at some point. @eager cypress if you notice there are other lvl50 buildings, some do not make sense - like shield tower, sensor tower, etc. These lvl50 buildings were probably planned and then canceled. Lvl 50 is such a high lvl it would take years to achieve, probably longer than the planned lifespan of the game. So consider the market the same.
@austere sand I'd like to see some details about my station - attack/defense stats. Platform power level does not tell you anything. Also how much from rss is protected. There are numbers on vaults, but there is also research that changes that.

Why is the 12 hour peace shield only available through the alliance. It wouldn't be so bad but its 100 tokens. This shield is critical for any normal human that sleeps 8 hours or works 8 hours. The 8 hour peace shield doesn't cut it. If you sleep a minute past 8 hours or work a minute past 8 hours you are at Risk of attack
The 12 hour shield should simply be made more readily available
Otherwise I have to use a 24 hour shield and that's an absolute waste

Why? Should a 28 be able to hit a 20? The disparity between ship and officers has a negative impact. I get this is apvp game and hits happen, but if you think this model is going to encourage ppl to spend, you're are wrong, be easier to walk away from a broken game.

Suggestion: When I've already leveled up a lot of officers, don't give me nothing but officer XP which is useless for me. Instead, give me unlocks to officers I don't yet have... Here I opened 3 officer boxes, and I got nothing at all except XP, which I cannot use because the officers I already have are leveled up. So basically you gave me nothing at all.
Can we have mining efficiency research added to research tree to help speed up mining as you level. Mining is ok at low levels but becomes laughable particularly after 20
Why can you not use latinum to purchase all types of ore gas and crystal and for those level players where 2 Star becomes irrelevant can you not convert those to 3 star?
Why can’t you view the details of a ship when it is mining? Would be nice to check the protected cargo capacity when a ship is still mining instead of having to move off a mine, check, and then go back to mining.
Can you add stop warping button? When pressed, the ship could stop at the nearest system on the route.
A suggestion that I have is to make a fee [latinum fee] to change both individual player names as well as alliance names [Tags]. This would help all the constant name changes in the Star Trek Fleet Command game. Would also help knock down the unnecessary drama involved

I am lvl 24 all my warehouses are maxed and i havent been able to collect from a generator in months... i can currently store 1.575m parasteel yet my operations takes 3.5m... not that im going to wait on my generators to produce the para but would be nice to get some help from them....i bought prime resources long ago and it had never done me any good. Please consider this in your next patch.
@mental pebble workaround without moving your ship from the mine is to scan anything and then you have the "i"nfo button in the middle of your screen where you can compare stats... so you can see your own stats

- crew on stations. its escapes me how you have starship crews but no crew on station.. you dont even need to add new characterers.. the ones available now are good to.
- allies should be able to doc in allied stations for defense reinforcement during attack. the dock becomes "occupied" and player ship cant return until ether the owner sends the reinforcing ship back or its recalled.
- ability to swap bridge with non bridge crew in the field
I think warehouse space needs to be increased about 10x not protected or anything else. I think this would help to create a more active community by the time you hit lvl 20 or so pretty much the only option to advance is to purchase rss packs I know without pay to play players games would not exist but the more active players on a server the more enjoyment for everyone
I need more Officer XP to level up my officers. How about making things like that available as single purchases in low cost packs ( $0.99, 1.99, etc...).
Using multiple peace shield at a time, similar to speeds up,
So if im away for 4 hours I dont need to use a 8 hour shield

I meant been able to use multiple 1 hour shields, to make up a certain time, if you know how long you will be away for

how about... when you buy stuff from the store ALL the resources comes in consumable/exchangeable tokens. Also break down those tokens into reasonable increments.... dont need 100k dilithium in one go. more like 20x(5k dilithium token)
this would solve the current problem with people getting raided with there shields still up. if they are smart enough to only use their tokens as needed for research and upgrades
Or better yet, how about the Dev's go play some Lords Mobile and copy pasta 90% of the game play and quality of life mechanics.

Hi, I have a suggestion. Can Star Trek Fleet Command move the market unlock to when the player unlocks alliances? It would be a big help for us players who have to grind for a lot of materials and allow us to help our weaker members at the same time. For example, the players who moved on G3 materials in game can trade away their G2 materials to the lower level players while they receive resources like dilithium or tritanium. Of course, another point is that the market being unlocked at Level 50 Operations is of no use. I say this is because Level 50 is the endgame. Once you reach that stage there is pretty much nothing left to upgrade or research.
Lvl 50 is when Scopely stop ignoring us and cancel the game as they've made enough money by then.
This room is to make us feel better and think they are listening to our suggestions.

Sorry, I can not read all the above. Maybe someone already talked about this, then I'm sorry. Why not make it possible to put any whole ship in the dock instead of destroyed or damaged? I think this is normal and logical.

What about random mini events in every system? Kinda like in destiny. It could be a group effort to take down randomly generated bosses
They've had that with Million+ bosses on our server. It was shit. Even the top players in our server had to send at least 4 ships. The only reward is pride as the recovery recosts weren't worth the effort.
Give us something to drool over... replace this buy button with a VIEW button so we can see why we might want to buy the token pack at the beginning of the month.
You should make it so that if your station has a shield up you're ships can't be attacked either.

If we missclick and recall the wrog ship, we should stop the warping and the ship could stop in the next system on the way. The time to wait is really bad.
an icon on the galaxy map saying that a quest is available for pickup. tired of having to load each system just to see if there is a new quest after completing one.
