Please up the cargo space for the Northstar. Itās ridiculous to have a miner that can only hold 3000 with tiny protected cargo. It seems to max out at 18k if you spend about a thousand bucks to max it out š

Cut all rss reqs and cash shop prices by a factor of ten. Keep drop rates and mining rates the same. Cutting rss reqs by ten will make the game more enjoyable and keep people playing. Cutting prices by ten will likely increase sales, as the current prices are beyond absurd.

The mining rate increases relative to officer stats.
Also NS health stats are very high making it an alternative warship with the right crew.
I think relocation tokens in peace packs would be useful for a number of members. Unfortunately, they are only available in station packs at the moment or if you get lucky with a chest.
Heres a suggestion.. Fix the refinement process.. mined 15,000 gas and I got zero for uncommon gas after refining.. that is just wrong.. fix the drop rate on uncommon gas, ore and crystals.. the current values suck!. Seriously.. it's take a long time to mine.
Please add a consistent conversion for common refined to uncommon refined. Like, a way to convert 1000 common to 10 uncommon.

@nocturne lantern please can you take into consideration the current upgrade costs of faction ships. They are ridiculously expensive (time and $$$) compared to, idk... say a Northstar.
Example
For a T3 Faction, u need 500k rep, 4 ultra packs and a whole bunch of uncommons,trit and dilithium. And this will net you a 180k ship
Whereas.... for zero faction time farming and just 10 or so Northstar packs you get a 300k power ship.
Surely this renders all the effort and cost into faction pretty useless?

@nocturne lantern A conversion option to convert common to uncommon would be a great idea, please look into this scopely. Also there are murmurs of the fact far too much emphasis is being put on mining, with mining events, and all the mining required to get anywhere i he game. The game appears very unbalanced in his respect. More work needs to go into other aspects of the game, for example events that will encourage more playable scenarioās like alliance challenges etc. BTW WHAT IS THIS ARMARDAS COMING SOON THING IT HAS BEN ON ALLIANCE BOARD SINCE THE GAME STARTED, IS THIS ACTUALLY SOMETHING THAT IS HAPPENING.
They should make it so if you send a ship and someone gets to the node first . Your ship would stop short of the node. Being that the miners should be about profit.
If you still want to kill the guy with a miner go for it. this would make it so no profit is lost and you can then just find another node.

@odd hemlock this is our server, as you can see we are into the game, we do not sit idle Manning all day. I was merely suggesting less emphasis on mining, and more events between alliances etc.
I think alliances should have the ability to send resources to each other. That would greatly increase the value of the alliance.
Not having the mission statement taking up 1/4 of the screen with "go" at the end would be a bonus. We need more screen space when dealing with battles and seeing whose coming and going
@odd hemlock not so much the mission, it's how the tab is spread across the screen with a clickable go at the end always gets in the way when your fighting, suddenly you find yourself viewing your mission mid fight

Can you add option that allow choice server they can join? Just for new players when they start coz I have few friends that will like to join me but they are on different server :( and we not able to play together :(

- cancel a warp; 2) mines refresh without having to reload the system (maybe a timer a few seconds before having to click to start again); 3) add an option in the manage screen for each ship to auto repair when docked (or a global setting for any ship); and 4) allow us options on which notifications we want (includes adding a refinery notification), per device.

Might be a controversial suggestion but here goes:
I'd love to be able to set my ship to autoattack NPCs in the system it's in. NPC farming is a great way to supplement mining certain resources, but having to sit on my phone and click attack every 5-10 seconds is not an enjoyable grind whatsoever. Being able to autoattack NPCs has pros and cons. Obviously a pro being less time staring at my phone, and the con being that I'm much less defended. I could easily be attacked since I'm not paying attention, and if I'm not careful I could get destroyed by the very NPCs that I'm attacking š
I think its a good / fair idea actually. Also the trained fighters will stop it being too easy
I would like to see npc bases of varying levels with rss that builds over time that would allow us to raid them - maybe not drain, just the single smash and grab

Many people are upset with how their miners get attacked all the time, so similarly how ship defend a base, why not have a ship protect the mining ship while mining? An attacker would have to destroy the protecting ship first before the miner would be attacked just like a station.

If I could place my fighter to defend my miner, then I would consider mining in my opposing factionās space.
When you click on a system and you get the popup, have a button to Link that system to chat. Clicking on that hyperlink would take the current ship to that location. This would NOT work in Galaxy chat for obvious griefing reasons
A setting to be able to disable double tap Warp (so many times I misclicked). Double tap to move on impulse power is fine.
Ah yes that's another suggestion I was trying to remember. I definitely agree, you should be able to hyperlink a location to your alliance chat. Maybe have it so that if you link a player's base or a miner, the person who clicks it could see the info as if they had scanned that ship/base, and an option to "locate" so that it would bring you to where that person is. Every other space game I can think of has this function, since well.. space is so large...
Obviously, the coordinate system will probably have to work for this to work so that would be a nice update/fix too š
hey guys one thing Id like to see (its probably been asked for before) is a player search feature. I want to message a player I know his name hes not in an alliance atm and not in the top 100 so unless hes talking in galaxy I dont have a way to message him if I dont know where his station/ships are.
@supple radish only way currently to do that is find the alliance they are in from the leaderboards and hit them up there. Annoying, and agree of the name search

Could you default to a language filter on the galaxy chat? If we are Italian, we see the Italian, English for English, French for French, etc. With course the option to switch to international mode in our settings. Because it's totally illegible and anything for most of us.
Cancel Warp during charging stage for those āo crapā moments and 12 min warp to nowhere or worse a battle zone.
Change the alliance rank structure for players to trek ranks, build in prerequisites for each rank based on game play so the admiral doesn't make everyone a captain. Example: power destroyed req, resource raid req, mining req to be available for promotion by the admiral. Would get game simmers more active and of course more active players means helps the alliances and more revenue š. Win win.
Whatās up with the market opening up at lvl 50 ops? It should open up sooner and as building is upgraded the values of rss allowed to trade between alliance members goes up. Also have the feature of trading refined ore, gas, crystals would be a nice add to the market too!

How to solve the 3 uncommon problem*

Create a separate 3* uncommon pack and make it available from level 24 (increasing at 27,30 etc as with others)
This will:
- Not mess with power-creep by increasing existing packs for all players
- Reduce the likelihood of whales refunding as it is in addition to what they have already bought rather than replacing
- Will not create level pre level 24 monster whales.
- Only really impacts level 24 anyway as this is when the 3* requirement hits
How many to give? Assuming you keep material requirements the same, start with 300 (covers 2 upgrades on t4 3*) and add the usual amount of LAT. we dont need anything else.

nice idea @sonic vessel but the whole reason for the existence of uncommon and rare g2/g3 is to limit the progression whales can make through purchases (Digprm have told me this before), this is also the reason why there is no option to convert latinum to these resources. I feel the problem needs to be addressed in the drop rates for the refinery, as the level increases you should be guaranteed a minimum drop of uncommon from lv25+ and from lv30+ guaranteed rare drops, this however should not effect the dropping of a certain amount of common materials as is the case now.

Actually @boreal stream the game is very very entertaining. There is loads to do UNTIL you hit the 3* uncommon wall. Then it stops, and yes it is not entertaining trying to get 3* uncommon, But I have spent many hours on the journey to this point and I want it to continue.

The uncommon yields are disappointingly, punitively low. I have spent plenty on packs to gain a powerful position relative to other players in my PVP range, but I wonāt upgrade ops much further knowing the spend required to maintain that power position. It gets out of my price range for mere entertainment.

Please add more administrative options to the missions menu. We should be able to sort missions by level, faction, location, and category. We should also be able to delete or abandon a mission, as well as flag a mission as active. Being able to view ALL mission rewards would also be helpful.
While actively working on a mission, I should not have to open up my missions menu and scroll through the list to find my mission again to get to the next checkpoint. āUpgrade Operations to level Xā should not be the default flagged mission around the clock. I should be able to flag missions Iām actively working on.
We need a last screen button to switch views from one system to another

Please make your (to hit) system based on health points, instead of levels. Instantly, you'd give the miners the survivability theyre craving, make old ships relevant, and make crews matter. If the (to hit) were based, say on +-5k health points, then the inherent tankiness of miners would allow them to persevere through multiple attacks. The fights that would break out to get a mining spot would be epic.
Please consider allowing Alliance leaders to send a Private message to their Alliance members
Please consider allowing officers to gain XP and level during day to day actions like mining and battles.

Scopely are just making work for you and every other customer service representative.

@nocturne lantern - Really need a diplomacy system in the game. I've already suggested it before, but since i still don't see it, i'm suggesting it again.
We need the ability to mark alliances as friendly (non-attackable) and change the viewable ship color to a noticeably different color to prevent allies from attacking allies. In the same respect, we need the ability to mark alliances as hostile (at war) and change the viewable ship color to a noticeably different color (like orange or something).
When it comes to huge alliance vs. alliance battles where 3+ alliances are involved, it becomes a necessity to avoid friendly fire and to not have to search alliance tags for the correct enemy to attack.
These options should be toggle-able by the admiral only.
Also - we realllllly need someway to monitor member progression/activity in alliances so we can drop players that are inactive. Having to PM someone and wait until they respond (IF they respond) is painful.

Also on the subject of Alliances I would like to see more options being in an Alliance. One is the ability to send and receive resources from other members. This could be a boost to younger members but also could be a reward system with a gift to members that do something for the Alliance. The ability to send some kind of aid when other members are being attacked. Possibly distress calls that alert when other members are being attacked, at least if a base is being attacked. I was also thinking about possibly using other member bases for repairs. The person you are repairing at getting a percent of the repair cost, and if you are repairing at a base with faster repairs you can benefit them. So an Alliance could decide if a hive or a network of systems is the way to go.
What about repair ships, that boost repair at your base or other bases.
And a last online button would be swell. And yes, more alliane options.
There are issues with privacy for last online, JB mentioned this already. Also that they are looking to improve alliance management.

Iām trying to remember the last Star Trek captain who told a start fleet Admiral that they couldnāt change course because they havenāt reached it yet but is soon as we get there will turn around and go somewhere else. How about you give us the ability to change course mid warp? Seems like a more realistic idea if youāre going to build a Star Trek game. Or better yet maybe a confirm prompt so that way you donāt send a ship that is mining somewhere to a location that youāre just looking at and not wanting to go. Or maybe a way toās scan through systems but deselect the ships so you donāt send any ships.
We better get access to more relocation tokens cuz Iāve got a dozen players who are frustrated. Most of us have invested $1000 to $2500 which is stupid, really. I know many have left the game already.
As an alliance leader and one of the founding members of the Federation of Alliances, we would find it very useful to be able to set standings with other alliances eg. Enemy, Neutral and Friendly as when an alliance makes agreements with other alliances (pretty much all alliances have one) it is very hard to prevent accidental hits and/or tell who is a friend or foe in a battle type situation also to have trade between alliances and/or players would be a very good idea as all other MMO games have some type of trading system. How about some Hostile bases, similar to player bases, with comparable rewards. Random power level generation, random spawns, defensive ships of various types that protected the area around it. Server alerts when they spawn, producing alliance races to get the goods. Some neutral, some faction-specific. Add a high power enemy flag ship or Admiral that demands attention, with special abilities. Distract him while you hit the Hostile base, or take him out for a bonus award.
I would recommend that when there is a mining event...all the broken mines in all the maps should be fix before if at all possible. There are dozens of mines in 2 locations alone that i can think of. Just saying
when a ship mining a node gets to full it will return to base automaticly. there is no logical reason for a full ship to sit on a node and do nithing.
if a node is depleted thats different the player mught want to move to another node. but if cargo bay is full then no player will keep it out.. theres nothing to do with it.
so please make this happen. auto return on full. this will also help ppl that send miners overnight and cant wake up in the middle of the night just to recall the miner.

we need capture the flag type events or full time game fetures like planets hat can be captured by an alliance.
its becoming a bit stale.
servers are been slowly but stedily emptying from players. there needs to be a point to alliance game play.
alliance planets or systems. maybe with timers on a window for when they can be captured.. say once a week... things like that.
Since there is atm a server Maintenance happening, people have no chance to prepare. It would be helpful if effected serves would show an timer that counts for 2 hours down before the server goes offline. Also it would be good if every player in that universes would receive directly an shield that runs up to 3 days until the player has been online again (minimum 1 min online time in case of bad internet ). This should stack up with any existing shield so that any potential running shield continues when this maintenance shield protection runs out. This is necessary as people might not be able to raise shields when they jump into planes and become easy targets
They could also do what other games do, force recall all ships to base so that any node changes can occur.
The announcement needs to be like the orange one that appears when you click out of bounds, i never look at galaxy chat.
Another feature happy to have would be for officers being able to flag alliances as enemy, neutral or as friendly , since politics has also become part of the game. This status should effect the color of names or ship / base icon - similar to what we see when you see players of the same alliance . Maybe even a slightly different icon would be an alternative. Itās very hard to navigate through the system and mainly people are getting frustrated as incidents are keep happening since itās hard to communicate via the app those details
Other games also give a 30min shield when maintenance occurs and give a maintenance reward pack of a few things like the timed chest does
Also officers should be able see daily / weekly statistics about players going back up to 2 weeks. This could be embedded like the ranking of players and alliances, but just limited to the alliance. Itās very hard to tell which member is active and not - if i could see that this player gained so many points in events (ally and personal), his power grow x points, he mined or killed so many etc. We officers would able to ensure a healthy community. I was in the beginning also joining an alliance and noticed quite late that most of them stopped playing
Also good to have would be to take coordinates of bases and systems (copy & Paste like) and share them via chat. The location should be clickable. Itās very hard to find systems just by name and even harder to type names. Would be also good if player or base descriptions can be posted. Also good would be if attack on ally members would trigger a warning message in the ally chat - since you wanna make money out of everything, you can offer that similar to shields - an automated SOS message (but cheaper as shields and long lasting)

@nocturne lantern how about a ship designed specifically for station defense, like a defiant or something. Got defense officers, they should have a streamlined ship for themslves.
Defiant is a bit advanced (cutting edge even during the Dominion Wars) - but I like it.
Doesnt have to be the defiant, just a good defense based ship. But a defiant would be way cool.
Maybe even one that can cloak, so players would think the station was bare but it wouldn't be.

The idea I have is why have 8 hour peace shields? Make the peace shields 12 hours normally the stations can be attacked while the user is sleeping. It happened to me. The looter took all the resources I had. Iām still recovering from that brutal attack.

I have been fighting for 2nd place on my server and there is no Avenue for tracking player participation..

I agree, balance is a huge issue. No idea why some have ships that are 10 times stronger though less advanced. I would also point out that old parts for ships that no longer make sense to build or upgrade should be able to be used for other higher tier ships.
Yeah, like sell for latnum or a build up option for older parts like combining 2 of the 1* items to make 2* item. Otherwise they are just a waste of data usage, they serve no purpass after passing level. The number build up of parts from level to level is obseen in comparison to how fast they can be acquired. (50) 2* items at first tier, then spikes to over (150), the refined ores are far worse, needing over (500) just for one item is crazy. It can take a week just to get that much refined.

The admin accounts go away but beware. Iāve spoken to many players who have had their accounts hacked after believing the Admin was real so they followed the instructions to the website trying to get free latinum.

Maybe, now and again, have seriously helpful rewards for alliance events. This mining event would have been really nice if instead of officer shards the rewards were 1k of each refined G3 uncommon. There would have been a lot more interest and competition! Getting rewards that really help with progression, even if now and again, would definitely spark a lot more interest in the event.
Another thing I would love to see, is improvement to alliance management, let me have a way to message all members in one go (they may miss a chat message), let me see when each member was last online, let me see each members contributions in alliance events. š
Unless you guys say anything about how to make peoples spend more money than they do it's virtually no interest to make this game playable

to answer this and the above, re alliances, there are some planned improvements with it. while in the short term roadmap, likely to be landing after addressing the more pressing issues
@ornate nymph cool so its something that's being looked at? great news it just makes alliance management really hard at the moment, having to do a lot of manual work putting info in spread sheets to track member activity etc. Another option that would be great is a public API for information about the game (like the guys do for tribal wars) that way I can query public information and produce our own tools for management š
Multi-day alliance leaderboard with Top10 rewards only (such as NS week) kills the teamwork in those lower-power alliances who quickly realize they never make it.

I play another p2w game -endless frontier. There the payer have an advantage to get top of the leaderboard, but after next update the f2p people get a benefit to catch up a little easier. So the pay people and the free people are happy with this game

It would also be great to stop your ship in mid warp... especially when you accidentally send them to the wrong location.. or send the wrong ship to the location, when you actually meant to send another ship.
I have a store suggestion. I got close to the North Star, and close to the jellyfish. But did not quite make it. It would be nice to have a pack of 10 blueprints with some stuff for $5. For both the jellyfish and north star. Two different packs. And have them available to those who have not built it, and donāt have the blueprints. I would totally buy one of each. Maybe two of each if I donāt complete the quests in a reasonable amount of time.
It would be great if you could re-arrange crew on a ship without having to return to base. If theyāre on the same ship, why do they need to return to base to switch chairs? It makes no sense.
Suggestion: make a way to trade in old ships. I've got notifications to build 3 ships that no longer serve any purpose at my level. There should be a way to scrap or trade in old ships maybe for resources or higher level parts.
Iām sure itās been mentioned before, but Iāll raise it again... it seems ridiculous that you canāt change course or recall a ship once it is in warp. Why is this a committed action until completed? I should be able to change the target destination, or recall the ship while it is en route somewhere.
I agree with HanleyMan. Please add a recall feature for ships when warping. Numerous times I have accidentally sent a ship on a warp that takes 10-12 minutes one way and have to wait almost a half hour to get it back to base.
Suggestion: In addition to having the game feature of being able to attack other players' bases, why not add faction bases scattered throughout the Federation, Romulan and Klingon systems. In other words add some non-player bases that are challenging to hit but provide nice resource rewards when taking one down?
Revenge tracking ability: allow the player who has just been attacked to see the location of the other players ship for at least 10 minutes after the attack so that they have a chance to track them down and teach them that cowardly hit and runs can't go unpunished.

At some point I have noticed that ships fail to get any additional experience points (xp) for hitting hostiles yet this is not explained, nor is it explained what is necessary to achieve additional xp when hostiles aren't getting it done. Could there be some added explanation like in the events that says "hit this level hostile for x points"?

firstly i would like to say well done so far i have enjoying myself and your game and i look forward to what you guys have planned for the future, one thing i would like to suggest is a system which would allow us to officially recognize state of conflict by this i mean ally,nap, cease fire and at war, one way i was thinking this could be achieved was by making ally's a different color similar to what's already been for people of your own alliance being depicted by purple, please a lot of us do really want something like this it is becoming harder and harder trying to keep up with who is who
I would like to be able to click on the hangar to view my ships without having a ship back at the station, warping, or sitting off a mining node to manage it. I would like to be able to view the items like you can when you manage them (officers, specs like capacity and upgrades) just not able to make changes. I like to plan a few things ahead of time and having to call a ship home and swap to it to view the current specs, upgrade needs, etc. seems unnecessary when the ship is sitting in the hangar already.
Ships should also be able to be upgraded whilst parked in the hangar - maybe not instant but with a timer, but if the ship is swapped to the drydock that upgrade instantly completes like it would now, otherwise it takes say an hour or so for the upgrade to occur in the hangar, All Trek shows and movies allows a ship to be upgraded whilst at a base, but this doesn't mean it is the drydock.
If upgrading a ship in the hangar, it can be moved and utilize the shipyard, since there are already engineering teams there to build the ships, that way the timer is easily applied as it would with ship builds, tiering a ship would be the same, taking over the shipyard for the retrofit tier upgrade.
Actually i would like to see protected capacity on the line where the capacity shows when you click on the ship, maybe a colored section at the beginning so that you can quickly see if you have reached the protected level yet.

There are many officers that add/remove hull or shields (e.g., spock, barot, vemet, leslie, tal, keenser).
Given that many officers are buggy and no one knows how effects stack, it's very hard to judge how useful the above officers are.
Suggestion: add crystal mining nodes in Klingon space, comparable to Tau Ceti/Siiolux and Aerimea/Argentomea. Seems unfair that Klingons don't have any mining spots between warp 24 and 30.

K'amia has 8.5k nodes, the ones I mentioned have 25k nodes. Also, they are inaccessible to most players, so you have less competition.

Upgrade the stations resource capacity by 10Ć or even 15Ć.
Since the mines on basic resources are too slow to be useful and miners are really needed for 3* mats anyway why not unlock base resource production to say at least allow you to produce up to 500k per every 10 lvls. Think the game would greatly benefit from this.

So there are peeps running arround farming and killing PvP -3 under their level. Then name changing and fleet jumping when ever they get caught.
I am tracking 1 guy camped in Vendemiatrix, 4 name & fleet changes in 14 hours, but its the same guy.

Not everyone playing this game is on as even as keel as some, and griefing works both ways. I suggest you find out what you did to motivate this individual to such extremes of behaviour.

The pvp level disparity is really too big as you level up, +/-3 is almost manageable but even still thatās a stretch. There has to be a better way. The biggest problem comes with stations. As a level 17 even with a maxed out base and ships as strong as I can get them for the moment a single level 23 can wipe out my base with one ship. Then crush everything I have worked for. That brings up another problem with station raiding. It is almost impossible at some points to recover from a base raid. You shouldnāt be able to raid more then 30-40% of a bases resources at that point it needs to auto shield.
@nocturne lantern @ornate nymph I donāt know how many alliances have this problem but, our leader has stopped playing and quit the game. We need a way to replace them without starting a new alliance because we are contesting for the top alliance on our server and we canāt lose all the progress we already made. There should be a system/timer showing how many days/weeks it has been since the leader was on. When the timer gets to a certain point commodore should be able to replace leader(could be a reasonable resource cost). If the commodores donāt claim leadership after a few days/weeks premier should get a chance. This would continue down the chain of command in the alliance until anyone could claim the leadership.
The timer would half to go for around 1.5-2 weeks before commodore could claim leadership in case the leader was in vacation or taking a quit break.

Be able to <Link> a system, a base, or a player in Alliance chat or Private chat, but NOT Galaxy chat. The link appears in the popup for the item.
Event Idea: Three wormholes open (one in each faction space), to another dimension to a system that allows an Alliances to claim the system. This king of the hill event allows the winning Alliance to have the hostiles turn friendly to them. They can contribute to make them and the bases there stronger until the next event. The system can still be raided. Superior mining nodes would be there to@make it lucrative. NPC bases can be built to help defend.

Donāt make us wait to refine our ore. We already spend time mining it, waiting to refine it is silly. Iām almost to the point where the only practical way to advance is to pay for refined crystals because everything I need to do, research, base upgrades and ship upgrades requires these crystals but I get only two chances per day to get them.
have players that go inactive for 30 days automatically get their bases moved to a starter system to open up planet spaces in more desired systems for active players.
Follow up to above comment once they have been inactive for 30 days regardless of level let any player hit them so the res they have don't go wasted

Can we please talk about the decision to make self generated resources slow, expensive and restricted, the game actively discourages you from building these buildings.
Purpose
The role these buildings fulfil is to enable players the ability to recover from an attack and loss of rss, to repair ships, and to safely generate rss while offline, the building also functions as an additional resource sink, I've seen many variants on this design.
Examples
- Medium cost/Slow rss generation/ No limit on capacity, ie long term investment.
- High cost/Fast rss generation/Low capacity, ie fast return on large investment.
- Lost cost/Fast rss generation/Tiny capacity, ie basic income, incentivizes active raiding.
You're current design
- High cost/Tiny rss generation/Very restrictive capacity
I cant make sense of this at all.
Core problem
This leads to high upfront cost, takes weeks to return invested income and doesn't generate resources as 70% of the time you're above capacity. This is the equivalent of investing $10,000 into a business so you can make $11,000 after 25 years.
There is no incentive to build these buildings, its frustrating to waste resources constructing them when they are a requirement of another building.
Solutions
- In any case lower the overall cost of these buildings to 25% of current costs, they should take almost no resources to construct or only require parsteel.
Solution 1. Double the capacity of warehouses so we can get a slow return on invested resources and slowly creep towards construction costs while raiding to make jumps in rss progress.
Solution 2. Triple the resource generation and double their capacity of generators so they can quickly return the invested cost when needed and give players a strong baseline to work from to raid and gather rss for construction.
And please, if anyone in the community agrees please give a thumbs up on the post.
Why not add relocation tokens to more then two pkgās . Iād purchased a ship pkg. if it had 3 relocation tokens.
Let people see the entire rewards, as opposed to only showing 3 rewards and "+x"
@rotund cipher it should also be that an upgrading building shouldn't be higher then the maximum you can hold like you show in your last picture. Any upgrades should be what you can produce in your station without the need to mine/farm it from other players
@civic comet I agree somewhat, I understand they place this limit to incentivize raiding, if everyone slowly farmed what they needed raiding would decrease on all servers, but at the current rate of rss production, 10 hours to fill a single generator for a tiny amount of rss then yea, the capacity should be far higher then it currently stands.
@rotund cipher some of the problem with raiding is a lot of players on my server quit before they hit level 15 so can't hit their bases. Then you have P2P players who are a lot stronger looking at the f2p players to raid which isn't fair on a f2p who is having to raid and mine their res to level up as well. If it was off the max you can produce/store not over 200k more it might make the game more balanced for both parties
@civic comet Totally agree, the games economy has an even larger problem for the paying players,
currently the only viable targets for high level 25-30 players are paying players, they need millions of rss to level buildings and the natural server economy doesn't generate enough resources to meet these players demands, and as the money costs increase well past what any sane person would spend they are forced to attack and steal what lower paying players buy.
So currently the higher lvl games economy is dependent on stealing and therefor pissing off every paying player under lvl 25, I can't imagine they will continue to spend money after losing all they've payed for.
Meaning not only are we going to see less people spending but the higher lvl players will get frustrated being unable to find targets to farm.
This is reason for both parties to leave the game.

This may not be something new, and it kind of leans into the Armadas whenever that comes but...
- It would be good if an alliance can set up a hub in a system where the alliance can research and build alliance system defences (defence platforms separate to bases), alliance storage buildings, alliance HQ, etc. Players can then store some of their rss at the alliance storage building and retrieve it whenever it is required, that way not all rss can be drained with a base hit. It is almost like an offsite protected cargo. Of coarse the alliance building would need strong defences and alliance research can help bolster this. Alliance members can also defend the alliance building by sending support when it is attacked, or parking a ship near it - which automatically launches an attack on any incoming raiders. Raiding levels will be set not as they are now for alliance buildings, as this would be too easy a target for those that choose to pick on the little guy (constantly) and drain their base - we all have these players on our servers unfortunately.
- Alliance members can send ships if a member of the alliance's base is being hit, by clicking on the players base and selecting "support" and then the ships to send as support, and these are then actively defending the station irrespective of whether there is a drydock available or not.
- PvE bases of varying strengths for people to raid to add a PvE/PvP raiding balance - these can be faction based and not necessarily in neutral space. They could also be part of some missions, to train lower levels how to base raid.
- PvE miners sitting on mines with unprotected cargo, not in every system and not prolifically sitting on every mine, but may be worth it for some players to gain rss through miner raids and not just do this through PvP.
Anyway, just a few ideas that popped into my head.

I agree with disassemble of ships for parts. Once the hangar is built that should be an option. I dont even use my realta any more. Plus merging parts to a higher level would be beneficial to everyone.
A raise of production rate and storage capacity of the three basic resources would be good and an auto collect.
Right now a lot of stations never exceed their vault limits and attacking them is futile. Either the player is inactive and never collects it or he manages to stay under vault limit. Either way a possible source of basic resources is wasted.
Base attack in general would be a bigger part if on average more loot is possible.
Making the station buildings require lv50 to unlock is ridiculous. They should unlock at lower levels so any non-P2P player can have them faster. A good starting place could be lv20 and increase lvl required by 5 for the next one. That would help tremendously
any buildings that unlock at 50 are just placeholders for features yet to be added

1 - Ability to repair multiple ships at the same time (maybe acquire this through a research of some kind)
2 - Ability to stop your warp travel (At least stop in the next system) so we can alter course, or better yet, revert back our course because we accidentally hit the āRecallā button
3 - Tweak the storage/on-station generation metrics. Some of them do not make any senses at a certain level. Increase basic storage to significant levels (even if we can achieve over-storage)
4 - Deal with inactive players that are polluting the systems. They should be put in a separate system when inactive for a specific period of time.
5 - Tweak NPC rewards. It makes no sense that a lvl 12 Pakled Thief (2905 Power) is giving out on average of 30 Dilithium while a lvl 29 Kriosian Rebel (131815 Power) give out an average of 82 Dilithium. This should be somewhat linear increase between both (Or at least a significant re-adjustment right now we are Looking for a 45 Times power Increase for a roughly 2.7 Times ressource harvesting increase (About 16.6:1 ratio). This should be improved somewhat to at least give out a 3:1 or 2:1 increase for ressources harvest. That same Kriosian Rebel ship would now give somewhere between 450 (3:1 ratio) 675 (2:1 Ratio). A linear increase for power:ressource would yield somewhere around 1370 Dilithium if we take the same ratio as the lvl 12 NPC. Same should apply to other ships/ressource combo, as well as faction NPC.

Raise the protected limits per level , at least that you can still build. the current values are very low. A lot of players being zeroed dont return to the game as it is impossible to get tha materials needed to advance.

I don't think the modifications would pose a problem and would improve gameplay adding a tacticle advantage by porting someone.
Also by relocatinf and giving them a peaceshield, it gives the victis a chance to recover and not immediately leave the game..

I would like to give proposal which addresses problem of too aggressive players and alliances which seems to affect a lot of players. It is a bit long so please, bear with me.
The idea is to introduce a variable that could be called something like "infamy", "belligerence", or just "bad reputation". I will call it infamy from now on.
Idea is simple - player gets infamy points by killing other players. The bigger level difference between attacker and victim - more infamy points. Also, attacks on miners should get more infamy points than attacks on war ships, and attacking and looting of bases gets a lot of points too. Also, there is individual player infamy and alliance infamy. Total infamy for player is sum of his individual infamy and his alliance infamy, so alliance does not suffer a lot because of aggressive individual, or peacefull member of belligerent alliance don't get punished as severe as his comrades.
Now what to do with these infamy points, how to exactly punish players with high infamy? Simple, mechanism already exists for faction relations - revenge ships, or in this case, hostile revenge ships. Just spawn some strong "Sulliban nomad" ship which would appear out of nowhere and chase player with high total infamy. Killing this ship should not give player resources other than ship XP, so that there is no incentive in chasing high infamy. The higher infamy - more frequent and stronger the revenge attacks. Idea is to target only war ships at the beginning, but if player achieves very high infamy, revenge ships could also at one point start attacking his miners, and at the end, why not the base (not looting, just attacking).
So how to get rid of this infamy? Simple - decay over time. That means that too aggressive players will be forced to calm down a bit, to wait for infamy to come down. You could also award (in events, and chests) tokens which are reducing infamy, and even sell them in packs, so if someone wants to wage war so badly, he can still do it, but it will cost him a bit. Also, if you are planning more pvp events like recent one, these infamy reducing tokens could be in reward pool, or they could be in special offer during event, or you could just freeze infamy and hold off revenge ships during pvp events (just like in Purge, everything is allowed during that period of time).
I am aware that this is game with strong pvp element, so this infamy should be calibrated so it does not target players with reasonable pvp activity. Of course one should be able to remove miners from depleted mining spot, or take revenge for attack by attacking some other ships and bases, it should even be possible to wage wars between alliances without fear of punishment. This measure should be calibrated so it targets only those players whose complete game strategy is to hunt down other players and especially their miners all day long, or at least to slow them down, or make them pay for it if they want to do it so badly.
I am assuming that this is not extremely complicated feature to implement - you need to add some counters during attacks, and rewire "revenge ship" feature to act based on that counters. But I am also guessing that this feature would significantly change game dynamic, and maybe even company profit, for better or worse, so that is why it may never get implemented. But I strongly believe that this is win-win-win proposal, which would make game more bearable for peaceful players, would leave possibility of waging war for aggressive players (with some added cost and/or cooldown time) and would leave you with same or even higher profit, so I ask you to at least consider this idea, brainstorm it, maybe improve it, so if there is possibility to go ahead with some variant of this suggestion without decline of your sales, I say go for it.

@nocturne lantern Every time you open the game you get a quest dialogue that pops up and you have to click through multiple pages of text. Please only have each quest dialogue be displayed only once. This feature can be incredibly frustrating, especially considering all of the disconnections from your server and client side crashes that can happen with your game. In a PvP focused game, having to click through multiple pages of dialogue when you're attempting to evade an enemy is not desirable.
@nocturne lantern it is a war game, but also exploration and development game. And at this point, war part of the game is unrestrained, while exploration and development suffers for lot of players, because of said war. This suggestion is, as I already said, intended not to punish normal war player, but to slow down worst warmongers that are turning away from game weaker players, which in long terms also hurts profit and longevity of the game. As I said, I believe that this will not hurt sales of game, but I may be wrong, publishers and developers have the numbers and they probably know better, so if this sort of change will indeed hurt the sales, I understand hesitation to implement this or similar mechanism.

Please come up with some better idear for players attacking each other. Low lvls are getting run over big time by high lvls. They dont stand a chance.
Suggestion.... fix the miners. A cargo type ship should never be able to taken on a base by it self... if so, who needs war ships!!!! I canāt see a super tanker type ship defeating warships and a heavy defended base/port by its self in real life... those type of ships are never built like warships. your game is totally unrealistic.... for example: real combat tanks design depend on three principles 1) firepower, 2) armor, and 3) mobility. If you in-large one area, you lose in the others unless you make it bigger, which then impacts mobility/power. Starship canāt all be tanks when itās design is cargo/mining. To have a 29 level player with a miner totally destroy a 22 level base with a cargo ship only IS VERY POOR GAME DESIGN!!!!!

They've maximised resource demand by making the taps in the game as tiny as possible, this means the total server economy is being fed almost entirely by paying players, A fantastic way to encourage fast spending, however this also means the entire server is dependent on player spending to run, wallets are not endless.
In a very real way if players don't spend the game dies, literally the economy grinds to a halt.
I just realised I've seen this system somewhere before.
I wonder where the critical mass is of players leaving/not spending has to be for the taps to be turned back on. Lv25+ players are forced to make do with mine yields that suit players up to lv18. Even with the mining officer and ship bonus fixes it still won't pump enough res into the economy. We need the mine yield rates to increase with system level like they used to.
I found a handy diagram that shows how the resources on the server are raided from the lower players who are still spending money to the high level players who have already spent and are nolonger spending money as the costs are too high.
I think it does a really good job of capturing the design of the games economy

we need uncharted space, space that belongs to noone, allow alliances compete for control of the systems place a system tag holder then defend it but also build an alliance station as the place holder in the system. it should be destroyable but when armada comes make it something we can do to take control of a system. alliance holder gets all the roids in one system

I think there should be a bigger Alliance base that can be built surrounding a planet that than claims all slots for that Alliance .... built using Contributions ... and has special benefits and/or rewards for Alliance members who contribute to its construction... this would give more meaning to the Contribution system and give a great Alliance goal. Iād suggest being able to build one each max in each faction area and one within Independent space. Even allowing a member who has a base located at one would be able to use an Other Alliance base to repair (at an added fee)
In other games when your base it attacked you can do a Revenge attack. What if after your base is attacked you get a Mission to track them down just like the NPC missions we have. The trail will go dry of course if they relocated, but if they didnāt relocate then violĆ”!
@delicate portal while that can be good to stop spammer, it will mean that many people who are new to the game canāt ask newbie questions like where do I find level 3 mobs or how do I relocate your base. Better filters would be a start of the spammerās websites.

It is ridiculous that I canāt search for a system by name. Are we to assume that our starships can only navigate by selecting a destination on a map or by typing numeric coordinates?
Since there are empty spaces in the cookie cutter station grid, how about creating a travel office, visa office, whatever you want to call it, to allow players to generate relocation tokens, at least in limited quantities. Maybe once or twice per week. Drops are gone for me, but paying 50 USD is a little ridiculous and that is the only pay option (only option currently). #traveloffice
I think an easy way to deal with inactive players is for their ships to dock themselves after a week and their station to leave orbit of the planet after a month. So when/if they return, they can relocate their base and keep playing.
For mining I think a good idea would be to have mining boosts you can purchase for alliance credits or other resources, say maybe boost it for 30 minutes and double the mining rate
The dilithium mathematics are way off. This can't be a pay to play game. Your game will fail @nocturne lantern. Return the dilithium ship repair back. Every single person that I talk to that are big player, want to quit. Then all you have is a bunch of ghost space stations.
@nocturne lantern Make the help button on the main UI complete all alliance help requests upon press. If a user wishes to open the alliance help menu, that's still available via the alliance page. This game has a lot of data for a mobile game and thus has a lot of load screens; any opportunity to reduce load screens is a major QoL enhancement. This enhancement would not decrease spending or have any other negative impacts on the game.
When you are in the same system as a quest, have a little arrow point to them, just like how when you are in your home system the arrow points to your home base,

Dampening Warp Fields. When set up in a system, any ship passing through that system drops out of warp. A player would need to reselect destination again. Something like this should be very difficult to obtain. Reason for it? Disrupt reinforcements or escaping ships. Possibly to plunder vessels of their goods

I currently have the mission "Red Jack" for which I can't complete yet objective 6/8. If after today's update I'll have to do this mission from the beginning I'll simply choose to uninstall your game and never look at Scopely products ever again. Fulfilling some of this mission's objectives took me days since I was required to mine huge amounts of resources. If I have to do that again simply because the game update resets the mission status I'll go mad.
So please, don't make any game updates if you're not sure you can retain our missions status.
One more thing you @Scopely should address. You have long downtime periods every time you do a game update. The downtime time should be automatically added to the limited time events duration, so that those events will observe an appropriate increase of their duration.

Prime Build and Research Speed are only on base stat as well, Construction Speed research doesn't stack

When buying a pack, will it always dump a ton of resources into your station past the limit it can hold? This makes your resource collectors worthless and allows anyone to raid and take what you just paid $ for. Maybe instead create inventory items of different values for different resources that you can open as neccessary.

@ionic maple In the opposite your loss is only resources, not units or something else you have spent your resources on. Trust me, itās much better this way, as you can always get additional resources for free and you dont lose both - units & resources.

How about making "away missions" high reward but also risk involved. Would need a combat ship to go to a planet with full crew for say an hour, if successful get high amounts of tritanium or dilithium but if unsuccessful some of your officers will need sick bay time and cant be used until healed.

its great that your constantly tweeking the game to be more balanced. but what we realy need is more game modes.
coop pve and pvp. both quick short term games and mod long term alliance progression.
as for short term:
mutual mining.. send your ships to help an ally mine great nodes. ( yes thst will mean you need to add a new node type that have massive rss in it and can only be mined by a combined force of mining ships.) these nodes will randomly appear one node in each faction space in lvl 22-28 systems. need at least 5 miners to start. and you get 1 hour protected mining. after that the node can be hit by other players.
long term:
system dominance. alliance can take control of systems on the galactic map. taking control of specific systems will give the alliance boosts to
various game fetures such as construction, reaserch, mining resources, attack, deffence, officer bonuses etc.
Short question, I (imho) heavily invested and bought all combat primes. They seem to not work though. Is this a known issue?

hostile bose fights:
a hostile space living creature appears daily in a system in nutral space (that has NO bases available planets). the creature does X damage (to be determined by you) across the normal 20 rounds and it has massive health (like 5 million or something). all dmg done to the creature is tallied in a leader board and is present in the system for a hour.
player get rewords based on their position on the leader board.
if the creater is killed then the player dealing the killing blow get one special reword like a bp or a card or something..
pvp is suspended in this system during the daily event.
@nocturne lantern Youāve probably heard similar suggestions before but for future updates could you set it so everyone automatically gets a bubble that lasts until at least the end of the advertised update window? Many were smart and threw up long bubbles before the maintenance started but many did not and were decimated by opportunists while they thought the game was still offline.

@nocturne lantern if you're going to release an update that significantly changes the value of items you have for sale in your store, and to change the value of items in your game affected by those other items (e.g. ships you upgraded with purchased resources) you need to have a compensation plan for players that have spent that, or you're going to lose players. Sorry (not sorry) for the losses you're going to feel after this boondoggle of an update for not planning appropriately and managing the expectations of your community.
@q2 limiting what bundles we csn purchase by ops lvl seems dumb. I know currently I have zero need of anything in any of the bundles as I just need t3 uncommon rss. I'm ops 14 so I'm not even given the chance to purchase. At least it's more money staying in my pocket.... I do ALWAYS have a "special purchase " button with a countdown, but just the same old unneeded bundles show.

What about a way of creating crews and saving them so they can be applied to a ship as a whole. If a crew member it would warn and then you could back out or if you proceed you can fill that space with a free crew member
now that you adjusted hostiles, adjust faction dailies accordingly. as lvl20 I have daily to kill 25 of lvl25. before the update I could kill 6 and it was ok, and now I can barely kill 1
same, it's impossible to do some dailies now with this change. Daily targets should be lower levels

@nocturne lantern I know these have been asked before probably. Just wanted to reiterate them again:
- It would be great to color coordinate alliances based on status (Neutral, NAP, Peace, War, etc). It is a function that is in most games, I am kind of surprised that it already isn't a core function of the game.
- Can we have the color changed for members of your own alliance to something other than purple? Some people's color depth is not all that great and the blue/purple color combination is hard to see in a lot of the systems because of the background. They can be hard to distinguish in a lot of the systems.
- Can we make it so that leaders can see when a players last login was? If the leader can look and see exactly when a player last logged in, it makes it a lot easier to run an active alliance.
- The Market building structure. It is currently set to lvl 50 in order to unlock it. I assume that it would act as a type of trade center where people can request certain resources and people can fulfil the request. There is probably a cost involved in making the request. But my suggestion is that we make it available at an earlier level. Like level 25 or something. As you increase in level you can request more and more resources at a time. It would be great to be able to assist players who've been raided to get back on their feet.
- Increase the vault protection limits. It would be nice to see these greatly increased. At lvl 30, only being able to protect 13k dilithium is insanely low.
- Increase the warehouse limits. Warehouses should be set to very minimum of the cost of buildings.
- Be able to repair more than one ship at a time. You could make this a research item. I find it odd that you have a separate dock for each ship, but you can only repair one at a time.
- Klingon traders above level 27 would be nice. I don't know if it is the same on all servers, but on mine Klingon trader faction ships only go up to level 27, maybe 28 on my server.
Suggestion: Quick scan when targeting ships on nodes instead of having to do a full scan which causes you to leave the screen.
Suggestion: Make Hostile cargo proportional to its "power" level. It makes little to no sense that a lvl 10 and a lvl 25 Hostile would carry almost the same amount. i.e. The greater the risk, the greater the reward!

I wish there was a way to view the ship upgrade screen while a ship is not at the starbase or while repairing. It is annoying to have to wait for the handful of times a day that my ships are not doing one of the above to know what parts and materials I need to find to upgrade my ships

As the game is right now, if someone is not on a leaderboard and you dont know where to find them, you cant chat with them. Hey I've been told I should put this here as an idea, I just have been calling it mass Production Rules:
The more people on a server that have a given Tech, Ship, Upgrade, or anything else that has a level quality to it, the cheaper it becomes for those people lower in levels, this would have people still spending to stay at the top, but with the added benefit of not burning out and killing the mid/low and free to play people
The more people with Upgrade (x) the cheaper and faster it is for those that do not have it yet to build or upgrade, this also allows people who come into the game as new players to level up to a place where they can still feel like they are a major player in the game, as well as the mid to low spenders still putting money in to get that little bit to go up the next level
This doesn't effect the big spenders much because they still spend to get everything first, people will feel they can keep up with everyone and everyone will enjoy the game a lot more
Here is a suggestion to lessen the attacks on stations.
Hello a good idea would be to restrict the amount of times and time duration for anyone to attack a station. In example if the base was attacked and looted there should be a cool down period that allows the station owner to replenish their items lost. I would suggest the station to not be able to be attacked for 24 hours the first time. The second time after 24 hours is complete; if the station is attacked again the time doubles. So no other can attack that station. Next is if the commander that attacked the station attacks other stations more than once per day the ability to attack is not allowed for the same time durations as the stations that could be attacked. This may be a good suggestion to make the game better. To reduce the attacks on stations and commanders losing less of the possibly money that they may have spent on this game.
Once per 24 hour period is fair. To deter multiple attacks on stations one of my alliance mates was drained to nothing and that is wrong on so many levels. Bullies do that. No place for that in this game.

They have a pretty structrured approach on their official Reddit, especially when taking in mass bug reports on patch day. They even provide a template for players to use. Attached is an example screenshot & link (redd.it/a4y264).

Sounds like star trek: bug command would fit perfectly to me.
Remove the "storage cap" on stations and allow the station to continue to produce resources. This will help with game balance. The station should, in time, be capable of producing enough resources to upgrade the base buildings. Not necessarily ships, but the buildings.
Another suggestion is to increase the protected storage of a station. The amount currently protected is not significant enough to bother with.
A third suggestion is to automatically put a shield in place that lasts at least 4 hours. I'd prefer to see 8. after a certain percentage of resources is taken from a station. I would suggest 25% or so. This protects someone from getting so frustrated with the game they quit playing altogether. Which Will happen under the current system...
Heck after a patch or server downtime give everyone a 24 active shield to protect them from those that jump on and raid everyone that cannot get on either do to time or that some people can log in while others state the server is down for maintenance for some reason
Or how about the rewards button actually shows the proper rewards you would get from raiding their base and not the total amount thatās also in their vault too
Consider presenting missions like you have resources and items. Separate them by objective / type. (Mining, combat, diplomacy) the current trashfire of names is hard to go through. Also consider a recommended ship strength note on missions. Most of mine ask me to kill something 100k above my highest ship
Please include ship xp gained from killing ships in the ship xp events. At the moment I can never do any of them. Or add a new event that free to play guys can actually complete.
Now I have an idea. Why not put 1 relocation tokens in a $5 pack like you do with shields?
How about also converting other 24h cooldowns to 22h. Like faction loyalty packs?

I used it just to fly to a mine without accidentally attacking someone with the bonus that it would look like I was already mining to anyone looking for a spot. Now I have to fly next to it, like a chump š
I'd like to suggest a barter system so that players can help other players, or alliances can distribute contributed items to other members. I have been attacked a few times by players saying they needed a resource that I had. If there was a way that I could donate to others then it would up the level of diplomacy and cooperation.
I posted this on feedback will post again here. Thank you Scopely for giving token amounts of g3 mats as reward for daily mining. This amount is barely enough to do a single refine. Please open up the faction mining dailys to be able to actually mine the other 2 mats. I undersrand the faction prinary mat is the way you want it. People have enough trouble mining for the daily im barely able to complete it day to day which leaves no time to really mine for the other 2 for upgrades

I think there needs to be a limit on the number of times a player can attack the same player in a period of time IE some thing like if you have attacked the same player 30 times in a week you can't attack that same player for a month.
Keep the details secret to prevent people farming say 29 kills on the same player in a week.
Also if someone manages to get them selfs in a position where they have multiple targets that they can't attack maybe then you could suspend their account for a week.

The faction ship level restrictions is over the top it is turning the game into a straight pay to win. And you need deep pockets I am done with it unless it's reverted you guys enjoy I wasted slot of money on this only for them to keep raising the bar I am sorry but I am now chasing the carrot anymore
The level restrictions on faction ships need to be removed or the buying of blueprints both is extreme
@nocturne lantern please consider allowing players to remove missions from mission log. some of us picked up missions we cant compleate due to warp lmitations and i for one would like to be able to remove them. obviously removing a mission should reset its progress.
The whole point of doing missions in game it's to earn rewards, as long the consumotion is lower than rewards peoples will see a benefit from doing those missions. Now, in game at any level thats crap ain't happens. Missions are totally insane/unfair to do, rewards little to none. I don't know what type of sadistic person did this missions but it's only brings pain and suffering.
@nocturne lantern here's an idea. If you require 19 million resources to upgrade a warehouse or a vault. it should probably protect more than 10k of resources. The Vault and Warehouse requirements for upgrade are absolute robbery and provide no value except to drain gamers time and pockets. This needs fixed or Vault/Warehouse Generator upgrades need to be removed from station upgrade path.

I see players getting visited multiple times a day and the same the next week... this by the way can be seen as a form of online bullying.. targeting individual player relentlessly . something unfortunately that scopely don't seem interested in stopping..

@nocturne lantern When you scan an opponent's base you get info about the individual components of the defense strength of their base. It would be cool if you could get the base part of those stats (not docked ships) about your own base somehow. The total power we do have access to I don't find very useful
I bought two $99.99 dollar packs . I received the materials for those packs, but Apple charges me for 3 packs. Apple indicated it is on Scopely side. I submitted 2 help tickets through Scopely website 24 and 48 hours ago with no response . I would even take the material for the 3 pack, but I want some type of compensation. For what I was charges. I am trying this server , because of the lack of response of Scopely.
ether ceate another rank in game between commodre and admiral (vise admiral maybe) or give commodres the ability to change the announcement page alliance name and tag etc.

Dan this list is brutal. Adding my lil suggestion, allow ship recycling so old useless topped out ships can be salvaged for at least parts and out of the game. Failing that, maybe allow alliances to give a ship to help a lower tier player? I haven't been in long and already have several ships I'll never use again.

Hey, could you make it do we can sell, or even scrap, ships? Corvettes are not all that useful after level 10...could use the bigger, better model in the garage, but there is no room.
If part of the fun is more and better ships, placing a hanger limit or tolling us with crsppy, outdated ships seems to take away from the fun...
Echoing some of the comments above, better alliance benefits such as resource sharing, old ship recycle, improved protections to provide a way for an alliance to protect junior players.
How about addressing my two month long issue of not being able to upgrade my ships with time and being forced into buying gold from you to do it???? Would be awesome to be taken seriously and not ignored the 25 times Iāve emailed your tech support as they simply thank me for my support, hope I continue to enjoy the game and close the ticket with no resolution???
I have a suggestion, how bout making a apology that comes from all of the developers to the players talking about the update that failed because people are getting refunds and the game might be shut down and i love it so much, so please make an apology and give us a chest that would satisfy us like 500 GPL, 500k resources, 1k common refined ores, 500 uncommon refined ores, with 1000 recruit tokens each group
Loosing interest in the game, it is getting obvious that spending while leveling up comes with reduced value as you grow. In other-words, there is no point spending anymore with reduced returns on growth unless I am willing to spend $1000ās to even being close to competing. Features like hiding under mines have been taken away reducing the fun of the game for smaller players. Time to move on and give my money to another platform.

Best strategy suggestions to new players. Spend early, donāt exceed level 14 , enjoy the game a few months and then move on.
@main hinge Iām sitting at 14 now because thereās still some fun at this level. And because the spend requirements are so demanding at higher levels for the same relative power against my pvp range.
@nocturne lantern @ornate nymph here is a suggestion, one that would probably help out the players, decrease the amount of complaints, and possible make the game more competitive...drop the farming restrictions. I have played many war games in the past where this is not an issue. Allow the generators to continue producing parsteel, titanium, and dilithium past maximum. It will allow players to hold more resources, allow players to level more fluidly, galaxies wont stagnate, more players will likely stick around.
I have 8 buildings that are completely useless because I can't produce more resources. But I have to level them all the same just to advance to the next level. That's frustrating. It's a waste of time and resources. Just some food for thought.

Suggest, when mining would be useful if when send a second ship to defend minors would be good if u could click an auto defend of ur ship mining. So when another ship goes to attack ur defending ship auto defends it. Gives us better chance of being able ti mi e and not get killed every 5mins

Ok, this may be a but of a radical idea, counter to how these games work, but I am putting it out there. I have an idea for the balancing higher and lower level players. This game uses a Star Trek theme, it is what caught my eye, so this may make more sense then other war games. So one of the things in Star Trek is the ability to overcome huge odds and seeming power, Borg, Dominion, so forth. Somehow the outgunned crew wins out whether they reversed the polarity of something or use a gas cloud to level the field, or a crew member sacrifices for the good of the many, whatever, the outmatched side wins the day. I say embrace the idea so when a higher level player punches down on a lower level, there is a greater and greater chance that the lower power player wins the battle. The higher player has ship destroyed and all cargo lost. So the hard limit in the game would change to more of a concern that the weaker you go after the more chance you may lose and lose big. I would also say change from levels as the basis for calculation and instead go power. There can be big power differences at same level. So the chance of the little guy winning at first is nothing of you attack around the same level up or down, as you go down the chance goes up exponentially until you get to where the current limits are and you take your life in your hands to try.
This could be just base battles or mines as well but mining I am not overly concerned and it could just be much less chance or not apply. Now one reason I say change to power is to add a new element of strategy and reason to keep old ships. If you are say level 23, looking to hit someone at 18 who also is on low power side for 18. If you take a 100K ship you run the risk of the little guy winning, but take that old Turas that is still stronger but only a bit and attack, it's normal battle and no chance of extra loss. So there is my idea, add an element from Star Trek that even the outmatched and outgunned could win the day, especially when attacking much weaker players.

Northstar has made the game inbalanced. When they can take out a base with ships, we have an issue. I would suggest that fortunates, envoys, and northstar should only be able to hit a base when no ships are present. These mining vessels should not be able to kill interceptors,explorers, battleships so easily.
Also, bring back hiding under the nodes. It was a great strategy to use.
Increase drop rates for relocation tokens or have them in packs to buy.
Create a way to refine common ore/crystal/gas into uncommon and uncommon into rare. For instance 10k Common can be refined into 100 uncommon, 500 Uncommon can be refined into 1 rare.
On the beta server we had the ability to refine G2 into G3... Was so helpful

Put the combat training hostile captain in the same system as ur base. Several of my guys cannot continue on these quests because their base was next to a system with extremely high warp range requirements and they cant get to them anymore. No reason u should have to have a ship with a warp range of 34 or some shit to do a level sixteen kill hostile captain quest.
Being able to invite friends or family to play the game and be on the same server so they can join your alliance would be awesome. I hope someone reads this and really takes this idea into consideration
Would it be possible to see your specific ships data outside warping or docking? Iād like to be able to see how much protected cargo space o have left.
As well as an ability to put a war ship on defensive mode so that if you parked your war ship next to a miner, some jerk cannot just destroy your weak miner, they have to go through your war ship first.

Iād like to see a treaty web system. Allies can designate relationships ranging from mining agreements (prevents hits on each others miners only), NAP (system prevents hits on all ships, but not bases), or an MDP (all assets are protected.)
A suggestion to offer an Alliance Pack for purchase that has a collection of useful items so those who are interested in helping their Alliance in a more meaningful way have an option to do so. Items such as ( several time and repair speed ups, some peace shields, base relocation tokens, some parsteel, tritainium and dilithium, and perhaps a specific T2 or T3 items as the main featured item. It would be great if such packs were available.

Stacking shields. Sometimes my shield still has 1 hour to go but I want to put a new shield for the night. Currently it gets replaced. Would be cool to stack shield duration. That way those short duratiin shields are useful too

When tapping on empty space, place the "Go" button somewhere else. Way too easy to accidentally warp a ship unintentionally (with no way to stop once you start)
Reccommendation: Base the length of time to upgrade a ship similar to station buildings. In total it shouldn't take longer than 1-5 days to build up the resources to build parts and tier up a ship.
Maybe making small upgrades for building like this guys not take killing 10's of thousands npc's.

my faction dailies seem a little skewed. I am lvl 19, and I need to hit level 22's and lvl 23's. Even using combat triangle I can kill one level 22 per repair cycle and no lvl 23's. Seems broken.
I was talking to someone came up with a great idea. Idea is if an alliance controls say 75% of a system with bases, the alliance can donate rss to build weapon platforms to defend system. Along same lines pvp should be changed to only when alliances declare war on each other than they become (red) and can be attacked. This balances alliances keeping control systems aka (empires), and pvp people can mine in peace unless at war.

Yeah, griefing is completely out of hand. Same troll kills me anywhere on the map within 10 min of leaving my station. Every time. Cannot mine anything anywhere. Game is basically unplayable.

Relocation coins, these are a nightmare, in 10 days I've not got one from a 22hr box, and the only way is to pay £50, how about allowing them in the alliance store, or smaller individual packs cheaper. It's a commodity peep require to progress but there restricted.
Player Lvl attack restrictions. Being a lvl 20 and getting cleaned buy an over powered 28/29 isn't funny and nothing we can do. Limited the lvls more make it fairer.

@nocturne lantern being that the value of Tritanium has devalued by a large factor (for example I need around 800k to complete all the ship parts, not including tier up, for the first phase tier 1 level 20 ship, the Kehra)
Is there plans to make it easier to get Tritanium or lower this requirement? Mining it would take weeks, slow gen via station wouldn't be possible in many cases because the capacity for Tritanium doesn't go that high
Personally speaking I like the changes to uncommon and tritanium. Sure, X 000,s or Millions of trit can take a while, but at least you can raid it, whereas the uncommon barrier was pay2win only or very low rng

It needs to be raidable in sufficient quantities from f2p players. If you can only raid useful quantities from people who paid for rss, it is pretty easy to work out the equilibrium result.

the officer boosts should be higher, 50% tri boost (incl synergy) is only giving you 160/hr extra
that ships mining show much is mined over/under protected cargo.
Its probably why they weren't working cough cough "disabled" the officer boosts because it was showing a 50% increase to the total rate.. can't have that would be far to generous they had to come up with a way to not change what it displayed but completely nerf it..

The game concept is good. Itās built on a classic model. But I am really getting fed up with the refining of grade 2 materials. Yesterday after refining 50k ore twice, I got 20 uncommon for the whole day. There should be a minimum that is greater than 0 per batch. At least 5 per batch would be nice. So if you do 3 batches for 50k you should get at least 15. At my current rate, it is going to take me another week to get to 20. And Iām already two weeks into 19. It would not be so bad if it felt like I was getting somewhere. But these 0ās in the batches make me want to find another game to play. And maybe if I have another 20 uncommon day, I just might. You need to fix the progression. Rant over.
i would like to see extra colors be added for coalitions and enemies. Perhaps purple for your team, green for coalition, yellow for allies, and red (different shade than hostiles)for KOS. everything else blue. just select the team and add the associated color to them. or have it done on thhe leader level of the alliance

Here is a suggestion that might be more reasonable. I am willing to pay. I understand they want money. 6 new store packs. Refinery marketplace packs. 2000 common, 200 uncommon with 500 Latium, for $5. One pack for each resource. So if you need ore. Get some ore. If you need gas get some gas.

Idea for alliances, if they control a system with their bases there, the alliance could build defend systems in that system to protect themselves. Would make it slightly hard for larger alliances to raid.

Pretty sure that in pvp after buffs/debuffs while mining or out in the open the attacker is the one that deals damage first in the battle log. When attacking a station, stations always deal damage first.
In pve both attacking and defending, hostiles always deal damage first.

We need to have more PVP events( granted the ROE needs to be improved compared to the last event) . We also need more events tied solo alliance accomplishment based on NPC kills. The events based on base and ship growth are a nice bonus and should stay, but should be a incentive grow not a money grab for you. Make the events motivate player competitiveness and stimulate pvp and pave.

Probably mentioned already but some kind of warp abort button. For those too frequent situations when hitting recall instead of locate. If I had one latinum for every time I made that mistake...
UI Improvement: When mission text pops up on the bottom of the screen, place a button in the bottom right corner of that text block to say "next" or "close". The reason is that all too often I go to tap a rewards chest or some other item on the screen just as mission text pops up and instead the text disappears or advances without having a chance to read it.
The many requests for a way to cancel a warp can be summed up in several concepts:
- Allow change of course while in warp.
- Allow recall while in warp.
- Allow abort during the 5 seconds of charging up for warp.
- Add Recall & return feature to send ship home and return to the same place, or at least to the same system so you don't accidentally engage in combat on a mine.
- Give ships ability to detect that landing at a mine with a player on it while shield is up should abort the mining action and move ship off to the side as if the mine had an ally on it (unless player specifically requested the "attack" when they set the destination.
Add swapping officers while mining
If you are going to give a mission to got do something or go defeat something at least when you hit locate. Take the person to where they need to go instead of going to the system where they live. I'm trying to kill ossarians but can't find them.
What you think about add some speed up posiblity to refinery time also maybe for latinum?
@nocturne lantern please make this game possible for people who won't or can't raid. After mid 25 it is near impossible to do so. Raiding should be something that compliments the other methods but doesn't take up 90% of the income stream. Example, tiering up a ship requiring 325 million Tritanium. There should be a way to gather that within a reasonable amount of time that doesn't include raiding
At the very least, you should have a storage capacity on your starbase that equals the cost of the upgrades

This needs fixed immediately. If I'm spending over 20 mn in resources including undreds of G3 resources, the vaults and warehouses better accomodate an equal amount of resources. If you will not increase the storage, then remove the warehouse and vault upgradesfrom the overall station upgrade path. It's senseless to spend hundreds of millions of RSS for something that provides no value. It's things like this that are making F2P and P2P members alike to leave this game.

Reducing the price of packs and allowing folks to get more specifically what they need will broaden your overall monetization reach within the game. Also, reduce the resource requirements for some of the upgrade components in the stations and ships too. They are ridiculous.
And raise 1000% the farm ratings, you can't expect us to farm one month to upgrade a tier on a ship, because even being really active and timing shields your station will get raided and you will loose all your progress, if there is no big change upcoming you will have a huge loss on player base, and people will try to get their money back hence this game is a joke
