Suggestion for general game play: can the recall button be moved down away from the locate button. I recall a ship I’m trying to locate frequently, same as a typo when chatting. Just a little extra space between the buttons would help avoid that mistake.

Can we fix the warp? I mean when I'm at high warp range systems, my other ships like botany bay or vidar cant leave the system. It says i require warp 40. I cant upgrade my bb because it requires rare plutonium... which is only available in lv 30, and cannot upgrade vidar unless i can go and hunt probes. Please just fix this issue somehow as it makes certain events or aspects of events useless

Please match what your game graphically says to what it does. If Pike’s ability does not impact non-combat Officer bridge abilities, then either say that, or, at minimum, stop having the in game display show something it is not actually doing. Example produced here. Cadet Scotty’s warp theory ability is shown in game to increase warp range by an additional +3 when combined with Pike/Moreau (53 warp range) but the game will not allow you to use that increased warp range as it is an “invalid” warp path.

When someone attacks your station, and you are not on the game, a prominent system notification will be sent to your phone or device. But if you are playing the game, there is no system notification. Sometimes, your screen will flash red when your station is targeted. However, when they are very close and target last second and attack, the screen does not flash red. At that point, the only notification is through the small battle report notification on top. But if you are killing ships one after another, it is difficult to distinguish a station battle notification from a ship battle notification. You might see the 10 min shield, but not if you are focused on finding the next target. We need a more prominent message similar to the ALERT STATION ATTACK, while you are actually playing the game. PLEASE!

Once again Scopley has significantly reduced the value of my investment in stfc. From being able to grind 40 level 55 miners in Sol to only 4, with 11M ships. Used to be able to kill more than 10 Romulan miners with Moreau Pike Chen and an 8M Jelly. Now I can’t kill one. Proper bait and switch! Larcenous Bernie Madoff Thievery. There are a handful of officers in the roster that were apparently once obtainable and were removed at some point. Please bring these back. The increased variety of officers would definitely spice up gameplay, and I must admit I would very much enjoy officers such as Tal or Kuron, just to name a few. In fact, aside from Jayla and any others who haven't been added, I would honestly relish the opportunity to obtain and potentially max out all the officers. There are only two obtainable officers from Shakedown Cruise. I have five Hendorff shards, I guess they were a mission reward at some point, but reintroducing officers such as these would open up new gameplay opportunities that would otherwise only be available to those who have played from the beginning and unlocked before their retirement.

First, I’d like to say that the only people I would like to answer/address this post would be an actual scopely employee. He we go….

The elephant in the room here in the obvious lack of game functionality every time a change is implemented via an update. I can completely understand a glitch here and there…that’s expected….especially in the IT field…but every time? It’s not just small glitches….it is bigtime glitches that pretty much force players to stop playing until they are fixed. I’ve played this game since 2018…and it’s been the same broken items after every update. How on earth can anyone even remotely justify that level of quality assurance implementation prior to an update release?

The next HUGE item is the change to Chen. Instead of just leaving her abilities alone….you just had to modify it. Why? Pretty self-explanatory to me. Higher level players were using her abilities in an attempt to grind faction ship BP’s and you were losing money. To this date…grinding, buying officer packs and buying bp’s from the faction store is the only way to get those higher level ships. So what did you do to help rectify that situation? You lowered the level of faction miners in the home systems AND you gave everyone the old percentage/refinery treatment. I’m certain….my fellow level 40+ players are going to send ship after ship to pop those miners with utmost certainty that they will luckily pop a miner with energy weapons and win 80% of the time. Let’s not forget…the millions in rss they would have to spend in repairs “if” they are NOT lucky.

You introduce new research in the combat tree and the galaxy tree for players only to find out that what they spent their rss on either doesn’t work or is blatantly mislabeled via level requirement. For example….the “enhanced warp core” research that unlocks at 40 R&D but you can’t get the warp particle until level 42 ops. There are other combat researches for level 40 and higher that actually digress ship abilities versus improving as stated in the research description.

I LOVE the new event grouping, but it gets really messy when you don't group events together. Having some events grouped and then all the borg events as top level events is the worst of both worlds. If all the borg events were in a group then I wouldn't have to swipe around so much

I will agree that we need the grouping to be put into effect for the borg events, and I believe that the War Effort event should be grouped with just the Live Target Practice I and Esprit de Corps event, since they are directly related. The other borg events for Assimilated Kras, Know the Enemy, and Strengthen the Fleet could probably be grouped together, since they are Borg events that are not related to the main one

Event store is great, pvp event was fantastic! All you have to do now put new content as solo milestones rather than leaderboard only. Solo leaderboards are terrible...beyond trash decomposing in a festering swamp terrible. If you're going to do ANY solo leaderboard it needs to contain players of the same ops level ONLY! Your game is far too unbalanced for anything other than that to be even remotely viable. Fix the bugs. TEST new content before releasing it! We are not beta testers, we are paying customers.

Can i suggest that you add the JellyFish BP to the Borg Event Store for players that have leveled out of grade 2 ships but never found enough prints to build the ship. It would be a nice use of Borg points to buy the remaining Blueprints so we can participate in future PVP events.

Dear Scopely, I love how in many instances the carousel has been fixed to revert back to where you were when you select things. For example, if you want to buy a 4h shield, you can know you'll have the buy 4h shield button centered when you complete your purchase in the event you want to do it multiple times. This is awesome! The [EVENT STORE] however not only doesn't reset the carousel, it dumps you back into the list of events after your purchase, so you have to re-slect the [EVENT STORE] and then scroll the now reset carousel to your purchase. I happen to be hitting the button for D'Vor parts so its quite a scroll to spend 300 at a time. If there ever was a way to select the number of chests like we select the number of speedups to purchase, that would save many gamers much time and I suspect provide a much more enjoyable experience. Thanks!

I know a lot of people feel this way.... but super tired of hitting the refinery bottleneck. It should not take months of refinery work to be able to progress. I have been attempting to upgrade my saladin and centurion now for 3 months now, but due to everything else requiring gas or crystal, I cannot make any headway on it. I still only have about 400 uc of each and need 1800! Please! Up the refinery payouts!

Lvl38 ops and refinery and I still get just common pulls or 7 uc...some pulls it's 30+ uc plus rares but those are few and far between
A cheap building at 38 is 300+ uc so even at optimal output that's 5 days...more often than not it's closer to 2 weeks

I am extremely disappointed with this event “rule” that at best was written by someone who probably didn’t have a full knowledge of the English language.
Our server is dying. Any new players arriving are “alternates” to the current players in the game who used the referral program to get moved to the server.
My alliance was about 30 of the 65 active. Another alliance who had 72 players but only 35 were active approached and we discussed for several weeks. A deal was struck and we began moving to the other alliance shell as it had 1 spot more than our shell did.
Come to find out that the merge now disqualifies our 30 players from participating in the 17 day event.
We didn’t have to move. We could have stayed. As a result of the move two alliances became much more alive and active to the point that the integration seemed to have worked. While this helps with our game play I believe that this helps Scopely more. It excites players who will end up spending more money.
At this point, I am just going to move through this event and be pissed off that I didn’t get a chance to get some of the special edition shards.
Someone at Scopely needs to learn how to market correctly. Someone needs to be able to put a warning not to change alliances or we will be disqualified from participation.
30 active players on our server are now disqualified. I take the blame as I ran the alliance. I am just sorely disappointed in this gaming company.

The new augment pack....scopely....GREAT addition to the game! By far one of the most needed packs that folks that have augment and Borg officers really needed. However....it needs some tweeks. The only thing me or anyone else could possibly be scratching our head about is the number of actual independent credits we get. If I'm not mistaken...if I buy one pack of the fed, Kling or rom at my level....I could promote an epic officer from 10/10 to 20/20 via the number of faction credits in the pack and I would have credits left over. With the new independent pack....it would take me two to do the same with Khan. I realize that the augment crew and the Borg won't be easily promoted via the rarity of shards....but....at least make the credits comparitable to the other 3 faction recruit packs in terms of faction credits. Other than that....freaking awesome!

I am not stuck in the AMS problem that is being discussed. Instead, we have the problem that we are now stuck for the next 16ish days where we cannot recruit, which means we will most likely not finish the AMS. If people cannot switch alliances once an event starts, that kills any possible chance of smaller or less active alliance players from being able to finish an AMS.

As a rule, I am careful to spend money to reward behavior I want to encourage and to withhold it when a company is, well, stupid, greedy, lazy, careless, or insulting.
Strangling our advancement with the refinery, then offering a way to get a bit more, if only we spend some of the pittance the refinery accidentally lets us have is both greedy and insulting. It may also be stupid, but I really can't say for sure.

I experienced somewhat I would call a big gap in game play.
It maybe isn't a bug, but it feels like it is wrong.
Here is the trouble I experienced:
This game allows you to refine raw materials of different grades. And once the refinery is upgraded to level 20 and you have unlocked the grade 3 ship research, you'd expect getting to refine grade 3 material.
It is a very long period you play to reach that goal and if you play the game until you reach level 19, you already recognized that once you get your OPS to level 20 you can be hit by players on level 24. For this reason the goal would be to gain as much as possible while being on level 19.
The game seems to let you do this by upgrading the refinery to level 20 while being on OPS level 19. Also the research for grade 3 can be done now. Normally the Refinery sticks with the level of the OPS.
I upgraded the refinery to level 20 but I can not refine grade 3 material.

I'm unhappy at the prices of the packs I am offered. There seems to be a basic assumption that because I have spent £19.99 on a pack I will want to spend £48.99 or even £99.99 on a pack as that is all I seem to be offered. Other players in my alliance have the £19.99 pack offered in events (So I wouldn't have both them previously)
All packs should be available to all players at the same price. I pe sonalky would never spend over £20 for a pack so you are limiting my options by assuming I will

@nova sierra packs increase in price the more you spend, this is because their target market is the 1% of players whom spend $1000s. Its an odd stratagy it has to be said. I for example, cannot buy prime officers as I haven't spent enough already so I am blocked from giving them $100. Also, the packs have more stuff in the higher ops level you are so $100 spent today is not the same as $100 spent in 2 months time. This is very odd pricing stratagy, I personally think the only packs worth buying in over a years time playing have been the borg premium reward pack. Everything else is either too expensive or gives you stuff you dont need like 2* materials or 2% of the 3* you need for one gun upgrade. Its quite easy not to buy packs at the prices that are charged and trust me, you'll be better for it.

@sturdy schooner I did not see that as a possibility long ago when I went from 19 to 20, but what I have consistently seen is what you can or cannot refine is tied to ops level. So, you should be able to refine g3 mats when your ops is 20. I was not able to do a 3 batch refinement for g3 until level 28 (I think). Refinery was 27 still.

So, who else has noticed the lack of reward for Borg armadas? Outside of the event, the only reward is a few hundred inert nanos. What’s the point of spending time and resources to put together a team for an armada that dishes out less nanos than I can earn by running through tactical probes.

I think that giving hijacked ships a way larger warp range would solve a few things. It would keep them relevant for all of us 34+ who are just starting to get them in epic armadas as we move into deep space. Then keep doing those PvP events. The only advantage a hijackdd ship would have is the warp. It would solve a lot of issues.

Normally I give myself 24 hours to formulate my feedback, but I dont see a further need with this update. This is trash. I have an alliance filled with T7 to T9 VDs wondering what the point ever was. I can tell you this much, I sincerely hope Mega Borg cubes provides an answer to that question in a manner that places smiles on faces, otherwise I'm gonna have a few spots to fill in the alliance due to people quitting the game. :(

Terrible event guys, I haven't been able to score a single point so have stopped paying attention to it, except esprit de corps cause I can actually do that. To be effective in it requires at least 2 people with vidar at good tier and around 1M power (which takes long time for those just got it) and then coordinate across time zones and work schedules to ensure everyone gets a chance. That assumes we have no life other than this. Rewards are poor as well from what I have seen. I would happily spend some cash on a supporting pack but you only ever send me £50 and £100 ones and most ones for this event are £100. The only £20 pack was restricted to one purchase, but you could get 4 x £100 packs.... stupid. I have asked so many times to send me £20 pack offers as I never have £50 to spare in one go let alone £100, but all you say is that they are packs aimed at my progress so far...... YOU ARE LOSING SALES!!! I tell my staff all the time that losing sales when someone is actively looking to spend is beyond criminal. What is going on???

I don't rely on notifications, I only trust myself to set my shields as the game has so many bugs it cant be relied upon. If someone steals my stuff then its my fault. Notifications dont even work when your online so just treat them with a pinch of salt and dont use them, in fact I got so pissed off with the endless armada notifications I turned them off

So, regarding Assimilated Ferengi traders...Message to Scopely...Why do you even bother putting them in if you still find a way to rip us off with them by either not dropping anything, or refining the Antique into a common transwarp cell. Just another mark against you. QUIT BEING SO DAMN CHEAP!

@latent peak - The fastest route is through CS ticket. But you'd have to be sure they're an actual employee (e.g., the mods here are not, but the CMs are, and many people assume a player is a dev and they aren't). You could also message a mod the information privately, but we may not have any better luck escalating than a ticket would accomplish.

it might be possible to get lower level missions instead of level 25. I have been stuck at level 19 for a while now. I still have many open missions that I cannot complete yet. my thalla is barely 30000. and most of the missions that are open. 40000 110000 235000 and so on

A lot of player were under the assumption the whole Alliance would receive the gold border. Not just those doing the Borg cubes ? Was this as intended ? As I thought all members would get this, as it stated for whole alliance would receive the reward. So I have many unhappy players.

This event is not even worth trying, only one person on our server who can even make a difference in killing the MC. All the rest is as the Borg say "Futile"

@compact crescent Everyone in the alliance who contributed to the event during or before the milestone would receive the reward, the frame in your case. If you were just in the alliance and did nothing, you got nothing.

This whole Borg armadas is really boring to be honest. You can only really expect most members to do just the first 500 points. After that the effort is just not worth it. Is it just me or is Scopely actually getting worse in their thinking on rewards with these event?

Do not merge servers..... saving money this way is a false economy as many players will just leave. Its already impossible to mine materials during a mining event.... why not entice more players in if revenue is short? Offer acts of generosity, it is much more effective way if driving the top line than penny pinching further down the profit and loss account to inflate the bottom line. I have stopped businesses closing by doing this.... and stop turning away sales by offering so few lower price packs. I would spend a lot more if you didnt have your algorithms set to "rich people only" mode

the events all use reg borgmadas as well as megacube... yes... the megacube AND borgmadas is a massive disappointment... and this fourth arc in storyline, meeting expectations, and individual event rewards all gets a d- in my book... HOWEVER the fact that i had an event store and was able to choose my own rewards throughout the arc, as well as the advertised ability to cash in any left over arc 4 tokens into warfunds gets a A-, the PVP aspect in the first section Gets a B... please use the feed back to adjust future events 👌

The ship is practically useless until you can get the FM to upgrade it, but at the rate they come your other ships will be better for swarms. I just use my vahk on swarms and it's MUCH more effective

The franklin comes into its prime once you lv30+ and get it to T7+ having to hit lv32 swarms the repairs cost and time is much cheaper than a faction ship. Especially if you get it fully tiered. On swarm events needing to hit a few lv35s or whole pile of lv32’s. Mines at T7 at the moment and can get 1/2 my dailies in one run for a fraction of my T5 Brel. Well worth the time and effort to work on it.

People farm for faction ship bps which have a fairly low drop rate. But for some reason, farming swarms for frequency mods seems like a bridge too far, even though every single swarm you kill drops the mods.

I played a game for 5 years before this one and went through 4 server merges in that one. I can understand hosting a server is costly and Scopely still needs to look at their bottom line. But the inevitable road of merges is the eventual death of the game.
The problem is really keeping playets interested as to not leave the game and as in my case the game is just too costly, no real rewards to progress, or feel that I progress at a reasonable rate and then boring events with, yes, no worthwile rewards
It takes me 5 weeks to get uc ore just to upgrade one weapon on the Bortas

My biggest problem with this game. You are new to the game. No idea what to do. Busy doing quests. Collect your resources or trying. And you get attacked every time, again and again, by super strong players with upper-ships. This kills the game. If you don't stand a chance as a new player. How does the game want to stay healthy ??

@high igloo yep. People forget to shield. It happens. Does not matter how many shields you may or may not have. I personally like having a 12 hr shield in the daily. Gives me the option to set the phone down for longer and get some good quality sleep.

I think the outlook that the Refinery is the main way to progress is very wrong. It is a supplement to everything else, the progress and resources come from events and alliance rewards. If you try to survive off Refinery only for Uncommons you’re definitely going to have a bad time

The uncommon and rare materials is one of the primary bottlenecks in the game. The events do not adequately supplement the material needs of the player. When ships require hundreds or thousands of uncommons, buildings require hundreds, research needs hundreds..... where are we supposed to get them? My events, at best, I can get 8 uncommons per event cycle, per event. So....math.... 8x2x4.....64 per day. Assuming I can do all 8 single events, and they each pay top UC's (which they do not). So, realistically, I am getting between 8 and 20 extra uncommons per day. The refinery is the primary way that most players are able to get materials. Like it or not. The refinery needs to be boosted heavily.
Oh, right... leaderboards..... I am a 29, competing against 40+..... never going to win there
