Can we increase the chances for 3* rare’s... the rate is way to low. It would take months to tier up, it takes three 3* rare gas to tier up a Franklin as an example. I have a 23 refinery and I’m getting nothing.... getting to be a little monotonous and really killing enjoying this if you can’t actually get materials... and honestly being asked to pay 99$ for maybe one 3* rare isn’t a deal at all. @tulip crest the ship ability "latinum mining" has nothing to do with upgrading its laser. it depends on ship level and is maxed at 17500% for lvl 45. the laser upgrade each tier will improve the ship's base mining which started at 160% and this 160% counts to 1.3% of thr ship's overall mining speed at tier 1 and 1.4% at tier 5 when mining lat. so basically the laser upgrades does nothing for the ship.

I had posted here earlier btw with a speculation that tier 1 is better than tier 9 atm as refinery raw goes much higher than speed :P
even at level 45 it will probably will mine at 22k/h on the fastest lat node in galaxy. without a lat officer it is basically just not worth it as to do max daily refine one needs to mine 12hrs each day.
at tier 1 that is just 7 hrs but less output ofc

Please fix the warp range for any new 'event' ships released. For both the franklin and spacetick, and lesser extent botany bay, as a level 30 i at the very least have to relocate to very low level systems to be able to use them at all, and when the mats used to tier them are so badly rationed i find it insultingly greedy to expect us to buy multiple packs for any new ship released before it can be used.

Let's just assume i was naive and bought the 20 quid ship unlock thinking that was all i needed to spend. How many days refining would be needed before i could tier it up to 6 and not have awful warp range? Next ship will be £500 but it is shaped like a shark. Warp range 1 from tier 1 to 8 BUT warp is 80, at t9 after £2000 further upgrades. Melons will be queuing up to buy it. No one seems to learn, just waves of lemmings with cash to burn. Mind blowing that nobody ever knows the warp, strength, defenses etc... they just buy blindly...the symbol 🖖 is not live long and prosper, its scopely giving you the middle finger 5 times 😂

We appreciate your good work and understand the capacity of your roles, but the powers at Scopely need to change their thinking and strategy of grabbing money at every opportunity or release of new content and show more consideration for the ftp guys, stop the continual mining events and release content that the players can actually engage in.
We are stuck in a bad cycle right now and the players are not happy. The community is the glue that keeps most of still playing but it will not last forever.
Spending $100-$500 every time a big release goes forward is not sustainable; neither is mining 10 days a month for event.
We need better content, we need better ftp options, we need Scopely to listen to us.

I don't understand the hate on background mining events. We aren't going to have big groundbreaking events every day, and this is giving me a guaranteed rare and 28 uncommons every day, for not very much more effort than I'd put into mining anyways. And, if you don't like an event, skip it. It's not required that you do everyone. I agree though that we need better event rotation and more variety on a day to day basis

the range widens at you increase in level, it's still massively unfair as all they did was shift the range upwards rather than making it even.
It was done due to large amounts of griefing on lower level players but it did nothing to adress the griefing on anyone else.
now midlevel players are experiencing the same difficulties and having even more difficulty because their range was tightened.

One other thing it does is let alliances with higher lvl players bully and push around alliance's with more mid lvl players. Honestly it really takes the fun out of the game. This needs to be addressed soon.

Why am I offered packs for ships I already own? I would much prefer those of the other faction I cannot attain without changing my reputation. This goes for the lvl 26/28/32 faction ships. Can you not see in my lineup that I also have certain ships and don’t really need them twice? A chance to get on non-attainable ships, due to reputation, would be more beneficial or something to grab my attention.

Personally i always get annoyed seeing the sale icon pop up just to advertise a semi regular time limited pack, what i want to see is massive discounts in a sale!

@hot karma i believe the odds of epic officers is found by pressing the >i< button in top right. 50% chance of epic. count the number of epic officers in the pool and divide 50 by officer pool = chance per officer. in double events the maths gets a little tricky but lets just say you double the standard rate and reduce everyone else by standard rate/pool-1

This is the interceptor upgrade pack. Interceptors require BOTH rare crystal and rare gas to upgrade. Please let the developers know it's a great thought...but please get this corrected. Also, Scopely needs to reward any player whose idea/suggestion is implemented. Maybe have the player pick from a selection of rewards or chests. Make it worthwhile you guys. It won’t happen very often. Post winner and reward on, “the board”.

I find the ability to "archive" missions a real +. However, since the last update, there are some missions I'm just not allowed to archive anymore and I think that's not really nice... What are the chances of getting a buff for the kehra? It really isn't a strong enough ship to carry a player to lvl 22. My kehra at tier 5 is weaker than my vahklas at tier 3. I don't know what it was like before the nerf but maybe we could roll it back 50%. If I'm online it would be nice if I could at least kind of defend my base from attackers.

Let me advise you of 3 simple facts with little fear of contradiction... 1 a Hanger is where you store unmanned aircraft. 2, Shipyards are where All major refits & repairs are done excluding hull, this requires... 3, Drydocks, a place where water is removed so every square inch of hull can be accessed by dock crew without getting their feet wet, the ultimate beauty spa treatment a ship can get(in our case, imagine a force 10 force field so our workers ain't inconvenienced by vacuum of space)... The availability of the hijacked ships shouldn't be contingent on your rep with a given faction. It defeats the purpose. As a single faction Romulan, I have the hijacked Mayflower on offer. The T2 faction ships for Romulans is an explorer, the Centurion. Why would someone with strong cred with the Romulans want a T1 explorer when we are working towards our T2 explorer? A hijacked D3 is much more attractive as it is lvl 32 before Roms have access to an interceptor and I would be much more likely to invest in the hijacked D3 to tide me over. If they are hijacked why are we still messing with faction rep? Make them all available!

I had to wait for 11 minutes for my ship to get in position next to the mine and then I pressed by mistake the Recall button instead of Locate button. Now I have to wait for 22 minutes to get in the same position. The swarm dailies have gotten super monotonous because it takes sooo long to do them. In Beta Vordunn today they were coming out so slow, there was only like 3 in the system at a time. You end up going all the way across the system only to have 2-5 other players beat you too it. If you wait by a generation point it may be 5 minutes before the next one comes out.

I have had a terrible time making my daily hostile lvl31 using my kumari since roughly the time they added all the mines. The hostile counts dropped to the point that I can't reliably find enough to complete my daily without parking my kumari all day and hope I complete it in 24h. It's more than a pain and it used to be me wishing I could add klaa and kill the same # in one trip as I was waiting on kumari impulse speed. Sadly now I am bouncing between two systems in ENEMY territory just to find enough. Guess I'll have to hit lvl32's to make lvl31 points .. and make 3-4 trips instead of 1-2. uuuugh.
I truly hope he looks into it.
(I'm balancing fed and klingon factions, so rom territory it is, there are only two systems I can reach with an escort that have lvl31 explorers for my battleship to kill) ...

Some ideas...have the ferengi offer stolen faction miners. I have the Antares and only have the option of buying another one or spending fed points for its bps. I really want the other two faction miners. I love the extra nodes, and the random double lat rate nodes. How about, make random material and rss nodes that double output as well? Maybe a black market where we can sell ships, or 2 for 3, or rares for unc’s or vice versa. Officers...I am not interested in spending money on them unless....Harrison! Yes I am a pay to play person!

Yup ive been hit twice in a row with my shields up, watched it happen, thought they were going after they guy next to me who didn't have a shield. I got no notification and nothing in the battle logs, but all my ships got smashed.

I guess I am not the target market. I didnt even buy the D'vor more out of principle that it should be FTP, and with such low protected cargo It doesn't fit with my AFK mining. Sorry to hear that @tall helm . It depends on your server but most have sensible rules of engagement and agree only to kill for a node or cause your overprotected. You do get the occasional griefer who just wants to kill empty miners for no good reason other than to make them feel better about the amount of money they have and how big their penis is etc.

so, I'm not sure where to take this one or what to do with it. We've had a level 35 player hunting my alliance for a month. The majority of us are at the lower end of the range where he can attack them. Sure, it's one player against an entire alliance, but he can hit all of us without any sort of consequences.
Sure, this game affords the ability to change names, join / create new alliances, but the dirty secret about that is if you block a user, you can track them. You can see wherever they go or what they change their name to... and this isn't something that expires after a while. This works great for tracking bullies, but what about someone who just wants to be left alone or forgotten?
Realistically, there's nothing that can stop the level 35 player from hitting us all. We can shield up, but our ability to play the game is impacted because he spends hours hunting our miners.
I'm into the game for less than $200 since January, but I'm contemplating just giving it up. It feels like there's nothing I can do, he's not officially violating the TOS here.
I guess my feedback is to change the block list so you can't use it to track someone across alliance changes and name changes.
or at least change the PvP range so a level 35 can't take out 24-30 or so.

Your situation seems rare, most people use block to track the bullies, not the other way around. The game supports bullying enough already, take that one tracking mechanism away and they can act with impunity with no consequences. at least now we know who they are at all times so we can track them down.

I've continually contacted support about game issues with screenshots and literally zero has been done. Some issues that need to be addressed:
*Everytime I reply to customer support someone else answers and has no clue what is going on and cannot see screenshots I've posted.
*Sulu does not add the correct amount of damage under a morale boost. He adds 10% when current tier should be 30%
*Spock doesn't add to shields during battle
*Helvia's warp ability randomly does not work

There was, nor is there such a pack, what you are referring to is a mistake in a commercial banner, and Scopely had a good will, Which they were under no obligation to do, to give the people the compensation.
As for you not seeing the offer, it is because all offers are tailored to the actual amount of money you already spent, your level and your faction standing. Hence, you can't see all 54 of those 5-20$ offers with G2 mats and Phindra parts. And by that logic, any other thing that isn't meant by the devs for you.

General Feedback: Armada's is utterly terrible. Only in development for a week, obviously.
No story, only 2-5 (which is a far cry from an armada). NOthing interesting about it. Respawn rates of targets are hours apart. Super. Duper. Lame. On top of starving servers by keepign the doors closed to new players.

One suggestion, not everything in this game should be designed with money being the sole focus. A lot of us would appreciate game play that enhances and encourages the communities that have formed the basis for why the game is popular. Armadas do not grow the in-game communities. In fact, this new addition is serving to pit alliance members against each other. When this game loses it's focus on the community then people will stop playing, and then where will the money come from?

whoever decided you needed 100 directives to launch an Armada was not thinking. logically one directive should suffice. 100? this isn't the bill of Rights or the Geneva convention. many will not be able to launch armadas except twice per week due to directives being sold in the alliance store have a 6d16h cooldown...meh!!!!

There are more problems with the game that hinder anyone from having fun than the great trek lore that should be making it dun. The ability to gather materials for ship upgrades is absolutely ridiculous and tedious. As an example it takes 90 3* Uncommon has to upgrade a single ship module for one of my ships... never mind the rare you need. You simply can’t harvest enough and even with a level 23 refinery I never and I mean never make any.. I get the business model of charging people way to much money to buy parts... but $99 for maybe half of what you need for half a ship?? Ridiculous.. I’m six ships in and still have the same warp range as my first... give me a break..I’m not having fun and honestly I just log in and look and leave. That’s the sign there to just stop playing.. it’s sad but this game won’t be here in a year and I see no benefit to this.

@delicate sentinel Why is the "known Issues List" not used? I can understand that it would not be helpful listing issues such as "game freezes when ..." but hard backend issues should be listed such as "The displayed officer attack bonus damage is incorrect".
Players who make an effort to check, screenshot and report bugs are duplicating effort wasting their time and using up their goodwill.
Customer services would benefit from a proper list, they are not being kept in the loop by devs.
Failing to mention known issues anywhere puts Scopely in breach of UK consumer protection laws - selling digital content that does not perform as described - a note on the pack screen saying "please check the known issue list before purchasing" would keep Scopely legal and stop Scopley having to refund Apple and Google for the refunds they give.
Win win win. So why the insulting useless list? Better not to have one at all than misrepresent the number of bugs.
I have suggested known issue list in suggestions channel a number of times - never had a response. I have requested on Reddit a number of times, only response was a mod deleted one of the posts.

Indeed. Notifications about armadas should be in game, and not system-wide notifications. This is pretty intense when armadas are starting every 15 minutes or so. Notifications about in-game events outside of the app should be only for important events such as your ships or base being hit, depleted nodes and shield down events. Nothing else. Not sure where you got this idea of making armada part of the system notification. Plus, would it be hard to have a way to customize system notifications on what we want to have, and not have it covering the chat window where we can miss important information. Seriously, this is UI 101 stuff. A 5 year old kid paid with 2 ice cream cones could figure this out.

the problem seems to be that they turned armada notifications into a push notification instead of a gamestate notification. The push notifications work perfectly because they are system based. maybe we should have base attack notifications be push and armadas be game. I doubt many would complain about that.

My team knew I was locked out and I told them to leave the alliance and raid me but they were hoping Tech support would resolve quickly

Yeah, I’m constantly shielded so it’s not an issue normally. Also the Apple Watch is hand because it forces me to see push notifications so even when I’m unshielded I know when I need to jump back on

Any idea how ship xp is assigned with regard to Armadas? If 3 ships attack but only one can receive xp, does it receive 1/3 of the armada xp or all of it? I noticed the rewards are not distributed evenly either.

More I play this more I am reminded of an old neighbor whose family fled Soviet Russia. Here you can have 1 pack or 1 item every 24 hours. There it was 1 loaf bread every 2 days. Here you line up to get on a node to mine. There they wished in line 2 days for that loaf of bread. There you said something they didnt like you disappeared. Here they do everything they can to prevent you from having the wrong speech. Just food for thought on similarity of mindset between scopley and stalin.

Since Armada’s came into game, notifications of attacks on ships and bases are now getting delayed I had base attacked over 27 times in one go but didn’t get a notification about it until after I logged on to do an armada, get it sorted @scopley

notifications have been broken for far longer than that. I haven't gotten a base attack notification in weeks, and mine depleted messages often show up en-masse over a day later.
armada alerts work perfectly every time though.

I would love to also know why Mission Bosses have the only ships that can repair without returning to a space dock. Other mobs can't do it, kill them all the time. Armada targets can't do that..........

@narrow talon i'm convinced it's intentional to give raiders a chance to at least get something before the person gets the alert and puts up a shield. So many times lately i've cracked a base and gotten only 1-3 loads before the person showed up and shielded. sometimes it was worth the cost, sometimes it wasn't. It's very frustrating when someone puts up a shield in the middle of a raid, Either you're online to catch it, or you're not.

The ranges that a player can attack need to be shrunk now that there are lots of players at higher levels. It is not currently fair at all. Between 2 and 4 levels on either side is what my alliance view as fair.
