What I’m basically asking is that if the user running salad logs out of windows; would salad still be able to run in the background or would windows stop it?

No, if you log out of your user then Salad cannot run :(

You can lock your PC though, with Windows + L

Yeah it requires admin to install the app

Is there now way to configure it as a service to always run at reboot so if there is a power outage it will automatically restart?
