what is your internet speed? you may be fully saturating it and the switch might not be the bottleneck

500u/d

yeah that definitely could be the issue, 5 pc's fighting over 500mbps

so how to cure the high latency and request timeout issue

the only thing I can think of there is to limit the internet connection on each device, but that would also likely cause customers to reallocate the workload if it's too slow

i already limit it to 100mb full duplex but when all 5starts getting on at 100mb, the MS start getting high and then the request timed out happens

have you tried plugging 2-3 devices directly into the router and see if the high latency still happens?

#

my guess is that it will still happen. if it does, then your router either sucks or your isp sucks

AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Router // i did the same you said and yes same high latency

#

is this the router can be the problem?

rich olive
#

it could definitely be the problem

#

the switch isn't the problem here

#

but its gigabit router.. which router you suggest for better and smooth work

given that it's a gigabit router and you can only use 500mbit, I'd blame your isp then
