I don't understand why there seems to be a discrepancy between getting containers on my laptop vs my desktop. My laptop setup is a 12700h with 3090 egpu with 24 gb ddr4 ram. My desktop setup is a 7700x with 3090 fe and 64 gb of ram. I can consistently get 1.5-5 dollar containers consistently on startup on my laptop, but a container only shows up a few times a day.

from what I've heard, there is a lack of customers picking a 3090 for work. It's pretty apparent the the 4060Ti/4070's are pretty popular choices for clients. Yes, the 3090 with more VRAM is a better card, but again, it's what the customers are picking, and right now - not alot are picking 3090's.
I can see that, but i get jobs on startup with my laptop, but desktop comes only sparingly
Are you gaming on the desktop while Salad is running?
Sound like one of them is uninterrupted while Salad is running.
like for example look at this
the baseline earnings at .025 cents per quarter hour
then the blips above that are when the other computer sometimes catches containers, maybe
You didn't answer the question, are you gaming on the PC when salad is running?
no
What is the desktop earnings showing now? paste the laptop and desktop so we can see if possible.
calculating
Have you tried stopping Salad on the laptop and see if the desktop will pick up some consistent jobs?
It shouldn't matter, but that's what I would try.
the desktop picked up pretty much the same container and now the laptop is calculating
I'm guessing you tried uninstalling Salad from PC, making sure all data/logs are gone. Restart and re-isntall. Make sure mining is off.
ok, well...I guess it's working to some degree. Again, not alot of 3090 work out there.
is there like a list of popular cards?
