If you want a PC that can be upgraded in the future easily, you'd probably wanna go for AM5 or LGA 2251 (Intel 14th gen) when that releases.
Though with a $700 budget, you're practically limited to last gen hardware anyways
I don't have the best knowledge in what the best price to performance hardware is currently, maybe someone else can chime in, but I do know that you'd want to go for a used GPU at least
Just search up 'LGA 2251'
There's many articles discussing 14th gen CPUs being on a new socket

Where are you getting this info from?
That's not the point of that comment.. it was that the earliest socket released for that platform supports the latest CPU for that platform.
Meaning that people that bought the first gen motherboards and CPUs could just do a drop in upgrade to the latest CPU
which is what this entire discussion is about lol
I've looked into what 14th gen's socket is supposed to be, and I'm just seeing a lot of conflicting information, so I'll just wait and see what it is when it actually releases ๐
for 700 5800x3d some cheaper mobo hp 1tb m.2 and used 6700xt, or 6950xt depending on how much is left with cas 14 cl 3600ms 8x2 ram should be really good for gamming
for salad cheap cpu cheap mobo X2 and 2 3060tis or like i5 13th gen and 3080/ 3070ti
cpu dont matter for salad but i have 3080ti making 2.14 rn but thats a bit more then the electricity it uses so just focus on a decent gaming rig. IF you really want to use salad you need a NVidia gpu.
buy a pc of rtx 3060 and buy a 300 mbps WIFI UNLIMITED IT will take 224GB DATA FOR 1 DOLLAR AND WITH PROFIT OF 0.7$
But it also turns out that 14th gen is a disappointment of a refresh ๐
