Im trying to optimize the optiplex to use the least power anyone recommend any tweaks or isos to get to reduce power usage and get more earning?

Hmmm, so i moved on the31st, (As you can see :D) then got virgin installed on the 2nd, (Which is only 110mb upload) then got an openreach line installed on the 10th.
So before the 10th, all is on a 110mb upload line and after the devices are on a 900mb upload line

I have both lines in the property im in now. Virgin and Sky. Virgins 1gbps down 110mbps up and sky is both 900mbps.

Also, i've seen BW top out around $4 over 5 devices. (least in the last year or two) One connected to each gateway. Only having 2 devices on 2 of the 5 gateways isn't the same comparison. As the most traffic, maybe on a different gateway to the ones i'm connected to rn. Sooo basically, I can only speculate so

That being said, i wouldn't go with anything less powerful than an intel N100 chip

I got 2 GMKtec G2 Mini PCs running off my sky bw, those cost me £260, not bad mini pcs, responsive. They have the N150 version for cheaper than those i'm eyeing up as i need another 6/7 devices to max out having 1 device per gateway over 2 IPs

actually you should be able to. You can run games and demanding apps if you're just bandwidth sharing.

Just make sure your CPU isn't maxed out for prolonged times as there's a chance salad will silently stop all workloads and won't start any again (including mining) until you manually restart salad. Atleast from my experience

Judging by your messages so far, your hardware is too weak to earn from, so your only hope is with Internet Bandwidth Sharing.
Earnings with Bandwidth Sharing depend on:

• Your internet speed (download/upload speed)
• Your country (some countries can earn better than others)
• Your luck (a lot of it does come down to luck)

Since you've been able to earn in the past, it looks like there's no problems with the app. You've just gotta be patient and hope it earns more going forward :)
You should try to run Salad for as long as possible because Salad likes PCs that are more 'stable' that run longer.

There's recently been 4 new SGS gateways in the US, they're named: "galbraith-1, galbraith-2, galbraith-3 and galbraith-4". I refer all four of them as "The Galbraith's"

The Galbraith's are terrible gateways with basically no throughout 24/7 and you earn nothing from these crappy gateways. They are useless and an unprofitable waste of electricity to run on.

I and some other person (I forgot if it was @visual grail or @misty furnace or both) came up with the term "Galbraith cursed". When someone is Galbraith cursed it means every time they start salad with bandwidth sharing they'll get one of the four dead jobless Galbraith gateways every time, leading to basically no earnings. (Not a good thing).

TLDR: when you're Galbraith cursed, you keep getting the same 4 dead jobless US gateways all named "galbraith-", leading to no earnings.
In my case, I've been Galbraith cursed for 1.5 months so for the past 1.5 months I've been always getting the same 4 Galbraith gateways and earning near nothing from them.
