If you had uninstalled the application before installing the newer version, the sgs client application will be missing in the downloads folder until salad downloads it again.

It will only download when the application itself wants it to be downloaded, even if you download and run sgs-client of your own it will not start to use your bandwidth.

First it killed my SGS randomly and I haven't seen it again
Second it killed my xmrig a few days ago, and now it killed it again

Why is this happening

Like at least start it back up if it's gonna stop randomly

a switch acts as another device

but its clients are reallocated

so the router could be 192.168.0.1 but the switch might be 192.168.10.0 for clients and under the 192.168.0.1 allocation

That is not 2 public IPs. The ONT only supplies one IP. If the ISP GW is in bridge mode it is passing that public IP down to your router. You do not have 2 public IPs.

Nope, requesting an ip through dhcp gives me two completely different public IPs on both routers.
My ISP provided router has a semi bridge mode only bridging lan port 1 basically acting like a two port switch and does not disable the routing functionality of the router
