i sent them an email saying it's not my internet's fault because both upload and download rates are high on speedtests and only drops when coming to salad

that's the reply i got, but i believe it's not my internet's fault

Currently your speeds look fine
But it may vary from day to day for many reasons
Server the test takes place one (Librespeed, what salad uses is notoriously slow on some of there servers)
Amount of devices connected
Time of day
and more

Sadly salad has no way to really help you since it's not a salad issue

Aslong as you have decent internet speed and ping, it ultimately boils down to the following
Where you live (The amount of jobs/people running salad bandwidth)
Luck

Yeah we've had many issues with librespeed's servers just being unable to handle our maximum speeds.
@unique cedar I'd recommend replying back, if you haven't already, saying that none of those are what is causing the lower speeds with Salad. With the exact same setup, you get better speeds with other speed test services. The issue lies with the server that Salad's librespeed speed test chose.

Maybe this'll help push them to use a different speed test service - or at least manually disable the ones that are awful

I've given them a list already, and they likely have many support tickets with logs that'll show them the same thing

Salad has India,Japan,somalia,etc countries on test for bandwidth.this means u can earn a little by bandwidth if you can get sgs running.
THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SGS TO RUN:
10 mbps upload
10 mbps download
ping should be lower than 100 but i guess 120 works too
and some luck
remember not everyone will be able to get it
check ndm logs and not ookla
To go to ndm logs follow the instructions:
1.open salad
2.click the top left circle thing
3.click "show logs"
4.click ndm
5.open the latest log
You may need a container (either gpu or cpu) to run sgs. (i may be wrong on this)

Clients use it when they need it. If you are connected to SGS you will get a job when they need it. Others can't connect to SGS cause they are not needed . If you disconnect they will take your spot. And u won't be able to connect again till more clients come , or someone else disconnects from SGS lol. Bandwidth won't be steady. It's based on their needs .

The uk bandwidth sharing node is having errors from what I have seen in logs, we have contacted salad staff and are waiting on a response for now I suggest to keep it enabled and chopping and when its fixed it will continue like normal
