help with consuming backend apis and enforce authentication in frontend (react)

hey guys so im working on a project on my internship, i have almost finished my u components and backend apis, but due of lack of knowledge of react and js, im unable to consume my backend's apis in react components, in addition to enforcing authentication to my ui pages, this is kinda the first time im gonna use react to write my ui component, so i would like any tips, videos, tutorials, or even blog posts about the subject
