I personally would add more examples to the essay, along with more of your own person view on the text you are using to write the essay (quote more from the text, explain/resummarize it the explain why it's relevant or you agree with it) (this is coming from the perspective of a Dual Credit English student, ive written a essay with a similar layout this year)

And for grammar I personally use grammarly (free version) or search up synonyms of words
