i used to be f2p and i’d save my hangouts for whenever i was in need of fast primos

#

exploration too

#

particularly inazuma and sumeru

#

and if you don’t have a ton of achievements you can do some of those (especially the co op ones), they give primos and they’re pretty fun and fulfilling

#

and ofc events, test runs, etc

exploring and I would say events (but there is a risk that you haven’t done the required quests)…but events if you can do them and quests

Unlock all the hangouts you can, explore a lot, do quests, especially archon quests if you arent done, daily commissions, and credit cards

comms, hangouts, all story quests, quests, exploration, and achievements
as well as waypoints when there are new areas
Don’t forget to do the sign in as well, it only gives like 60 primos a month, but anything helps as f2p

Similar that of meditation, gathering and savouring all the found primogems all requires patience except the cost of it is sanity and suspense. Being "Free To Play" have it's limits and I for one to experience most of it but bear with it all as you'd be able to see your primogems pile all the way until your desired Character Banner arrives once more!
Just to be sure of remembering doing daily commissions given, events and explore the world, you might find surprises of hidden treasures! World quest and character quests also brings much hefty rewards, that includes primogems along with it! Just be sure not to be tempted, that's one factor that may cause a huge impact against your savings.
Following all the above that's said, forward in the present would your savings of primogems would bear much sweet fruit! That is if your banner arrives at the time.

I used to be f2p, and honestly the best way imo is just doing comissions, exploring, and saving primos from events
