though he plays his pranks and gets drunk sometimes zhongli has known both personalities, specifically because of the archon war

that wasn’t “venti”, and it’s obvious he’s got a lot in his head because of little moments like that
he has a mature side, he just often hides it behind the guise of a goofy bard
maybe it is tolerance currently between venti and zhongli, but i’d say they at least USED to be somewhat close
they’re more similar than they appear at first glance
