Write a scenario involving a defendant charged with a crime. The scenario will need to include the defendant having something to do with topics covered in this lesson such as making statements, having medical issues with tests done, different types of evidence, confiding in specific types of relationships, an alibi, and issues involving exemptions to freedom of information laws.

Huh idk if it's too late
Basically you'd probably use vocabulary seen in lesson
If you actually have some examples of these, it would be helpful

If its not too late, a scenario that you could use is if a person who has brain cancer is blamed for committing a crime like accidentally ODing a somewhat close relative. However, the hospital that diagnosed the suspect is now bankrupt and no longer has evidence of this. Statements can be made about a number of things such as his lost medical records, or the persons background. The medical tests are hard to do because you have no information on what other medical issues he or she may have, and could therefore injure the patient. And for exceptions to FOI laws, (documents containing material obtained in confidence (s 45) may help to piece together some things like the persons background, but be unable to be used in the court itself. But the FOI act also states that only the parts of the document that are obtained in confidence are exempt, meaning that the lawyer having to pick out what parts to include. However, I am unsure of the assignment, and so this may be completely useless.
