im not sure about starting at a lover AR account. I always find playing on my alt account annoying because ill go to do something that i do normally w/ ease and dont think about, and cant do it like teleport somewhere or smthing. but i dont know how that will differ from having not played for a while.

and it is possible to save enough primos
just do like the archon quest and story quests that give primos. I did that for kokomi, and i had like 20 pity. however, it depends whose banner, because i dont think u would have enough time in cyno's banner to save, but if it is an upcoming one, you should have enough time if you start now. basically, just do a lot of primo giving quests, and you should be able to do it. I would normally recommend the aranara quest, just skip the lore if you dont want it to take forever. but im not sure if you can do that quest without having done the sumeru archon quest part 1

Genshin is not a competitive game. You play this game to have fun and enjoy. If you have more fun playing with your favourite 5* on the AR 17 acc than you do on the AR 43 acc, then, by all means, do so

By low spender, I assume you mean buying welkin + battlepass. And by ‘enough primos’, I think you mean sufficient primogems to guarantee the 5* you want? In one ‘cycle’, the amount of primos you can get varies depending on the events. For example, v3.1 right now gave away 1600 primogems in the mail and will give 10 wishes from logging in in the second half, as part of an anniversary gift. However, for the average low spender, I would guess 2 ‘cycles’?. I’m personally a low spender and have been saving since the patch 3.0, now I have 11k primogems. By the next patch, I estimate I’ll have at least 16k primos, which can already guarantee a 5*!
