Punishment Legend deltarune

pipis Rolebans: If a staff member sees a reason to pull you aside temporarily, you may be rolebanned. You will be moved to a private channel to discuss with staff whatever needs to be addressed. All messages sent while rolebanned are confidential and will be saved to our logs permanently. If you leave while rolebanned, you may be banned immediately.

🥧 Warnings: If you violate our rules, you may receive a warning and a DM from @wispy maple notifying you about it. You can check your warnings by typing -mywarnings in #🤖┃cyber-field. The bot will send you a DM with a list of your warnings, so make sure you have DMs enabled for it!

kingsulk Mutes: If you break a rule or are generally being a nuisance or disruption to others, you may be muted with or without warning. You can appeal timed and permanent mutes. The mute appeal format can be found when muted within the #🛑┃mute-appeals channel.

banknife Bans: If you commit an offense that is considered to be a blatant violation of our rules, or if a staff member sees that you are not fit to be a part of our community, you may be banned. If you are banned, you will receive a message from @wispy maple with a link to our ban appeals server, which you are to join immediately if you wish to file an appeal. More information can be found within the server.

• Rule 1: Be respectful to others.

  • We want our community to be welcoming to as many folks as possible. Advertising, spam, flood, and other forms of chat disruption will not be tolerated.
  • To advertise in another user's direct messages, you must be given explicit approval from that user. To advertise on the server, you must be given explicit staff permission to do so.
  • Discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to sexism, homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, usage of slurs, or any other kind of toxic behavior, such as bullying or harassment - whether in-server or DMs, is not allowed. Bypassing these things via ||spoilers|| or any other method is not allowed. Slurs (n-slur, r-slur, etc.) have no place here under any circumstances.
  • As a general rule of thumb, if you're making someone uncomfortable, you should probably stop!

  • Do not post movies, shows, or any kind of copyrighted material in full unless explicitly given permission by the maker. This includes sped up gifs of entire movies or episodes to a series.
  • Do not post content containing, but not limited to: discussion of piracy (avoid admitting to or encouraging piracy) / using modified clients.
  • If you are under the age of 13, you will be banned.`
  • If you are caught breaking TOS, you may be banned without warning.

• Rule 4: No violent, shocking, or obscene content (NSFW).

  • Discussion and imagery of NSFW content are prohibited under all circumstances. This content includes, but is not limited to text, images, or links containing nudity, suggestive/sexual content, excessive violence, gore, pedophilia, or other disturbing content.
  • If your bio, status, avatar, name, or banner have shocking content, you may be punished.
  • No discussion or mention of fetishes, kinks, or any other sexually explicit subject under any circumstances. How widely accepted or niche it may be is irrelevant.
  • Overuse of inappropriate jokes/phrases may result in punishment. How inappropriate a joke or message depends upon its context and perception. Example: "I had sex with your mother LOLOL" or "dick and balls" are usually fine as jokes, but if you start getting overly grotesque, you may be punished.
  • Remember: This is a public server where younger users may be active. Keep yourself in check and think twice before speaking as you would in a real-world public scenario.
    If you think something may be inappropriate to post, it probably is.

• Rule 5: Avoid disrupting chat/keep messages readable.

  • We require that you only speak in English, to avoid misunderstandings and make moderation easier for Staff. Refusing to speak English may result in punishment.
  • Using ฬєเг๔ Ŧ๏ภՇร, only emotes, and other similar methods to talk to others is disruptive and will result in punishment.
  • The only exception to this is use of wingdings in #📝┃deltarune-theories when related to the discussion (as they relate to Deltarune).
  • Responding with too many reaction gifs, images, or videos is counted as media flood.
  • Avoid ‘ghost pinging’. This is when you ping a user only to delete your message after. It is disruptive, and often causes confusion.
  • Do not send nitro links (real or fake) or redeemed nitro links with the intent to deceive.
  • Hyperlinks are banned across the board in order to keep the server safer.

• Rule 6: Limit politically or emotionally charged discussions.

  • Mentioning politics is generally okay, though if it is becoming the focus of the conversation, take it to #🏡┃home-town for a more focused discussion.
  • Sensitive topics such as excessive personal venting, religion, suicide, addiction, and other discussions of this kind are to be kept mostly private. We are not equipped to handle serious personal matters. Joking or sending memes about these topics may also result in punishment or a verbal warning.
  • Self-deprecating jokes may be taken seriously and worry others, so as a rule of thumb, try to avoid making them.
  • Debating contemporary heated topics (e.g. Kris' pronouns) is not allowed. They have only been referred to as they/them, so refer to them as such.

• Rule 7: No roleplaying/impersonation.

  • This is not a roleplay server, and you are not Tenna. Roleplay is a form of chat disruption.
  • Impersonation of any staff, content creator, character, bots, or other users of any kind is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: knowingly using another user's profile picture, nickname, username, or overall profile design with the intent to copy said user even as a joke.

• Rule 8: No derailing.

  • Use channels for their intended purposes (i.e. most memes should go in #🧻┃memes, music in #🎵┃music, and so on).
  • Do not actively try to derail or obfuscate ongoing discussions in channels dedicated to specific things (e.g. #📚┃writing) through disruptive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, being a nuisance or sending random unrelated memes/media.
  • Obviously when chat is fast, multiple conversations will likely be going at once, but if it is a bit slower and more focused, avoid being incredibly off topic.
  • You can use +manual in #🤖┃cyber-field to get image permissions and vc access once you've been a member for at least 1 day.
  • Please avoid telling people outright about the image perms command, instead, direct them to read the rules in their entirety.

• Rule 9: No alternate accounts or punishment evasion.

  • Attempting to evade punishment, such as a roleban, mute, or any other mod action by leaving the server may result in a ban. Ban evasion may result in loss of appeal rights.
  • Usage of alts (alternative accounts) on the server is not allowed under any circumstances. If we catch you using an alternate account, it will be removed from the server - along with other possible actions.

• Rule 10: No AI “art”/ generative AI.

  • AI “art” is banned in the server, and sending it may result in verbal or formal punishment depending on the context.
  • This rule applies to virtually all generative AI
  • Screenshots of AI chats (character.ai, ChatGPT, etc.) and AI filters are banned across the board for consistency.

• Rule 11: Listen to the Staff Team.

  • If you think something is against the rules, ping @Support for help or open a ticket in #💟┃support for non-urgent issues.
  • Misuse of the staff ping will result in punishment (if it is clearly done as a joke or spammed).
  • Be respectful and listen to the Staff Team’s decisions and requests. Do not belittle others for getting support.
  • Do not minimod or attempt to find loopholes (rule lawyering).

  • In addition to these rules, moderators may punish users for things which they find distasteful, even if not listed above. The rules are pliable and flexible depending on the context of the situation. If a moderator feels that something should not be happening, they have the freedom to take action.

  • Belittling of users that are receiving punishment is not allowed.
