It may be easier to just create an entire new item rather changing the exisiting parameters for fireworks
Not necessarily. Components make durability easy. It's just not tossing them away afterwards.
As long as you don't mind them being unstackable
unstackable is fine with me

Known edge cases:
- Shift-clicking while crafting is a bit wonky
- There's a warning in the console when you start a world about the firework recipe
- Crossbow + dispensers both use the whole firework
- It only kind of works server-side. Stacked rockets behave weird, and damage doesn't show. Keep it on both sides for best results.

I would assume mending and unbreaking, but maybe they want firework-specific enchantments?

Soulbound isn't vanilla.
obviously i dont need mending or unbreaking bc I had that trinket but that wasnt cheap

What mod does soulbound come from?
Items are made enchantable by tags now, so it should be datapackable.
Maybe another good question, can flint and steel, shears, elytra, and/or shields be enchanted with it?
