hey so i’m working on a project atm and I wanted to do some terrain work trying to recreate Jupiter’s moon Europa. but as the project is getting bigger and bigger it’s becoming too much
i was wondering if someone would be able to help me create some custom world gen? i can answer any questions and other stuff below this. but if someone could help out, that would be amazing

Can you describe in words what terrain generation you are looking for?
Just looking at the pictures, it looks like you want a deep subsurface ocean with a thick crust formed of multiple types of relatively smooth ice, with occasional cryovolcanos.

i mean what you said it just about correct. Europa is a pretty smooth moon. so it would be a generally pretty smooth terrain. with an occasional valley and cryovolcanos. underneath a pretty thick amount of ice (i’m thinking maybe 10-15 blocks) would be a pretty open ocean, with little airpockets above it to give people an area to breath in

would it it possible to do just a similar sort of terrain as the surface. with an occasional underwater volcano. and then bedrock underneath all of that
if you’re wanting to do this, would you be able to leave any blocks as temporary blocks so that i could mess around with some custom blocks that i’ll eventually be making for this project

I don't have the time to do this at the moment, I'm just asking because it sounds interesting and I'd like to help make the request as good (i.e., specific and achievable) as possible so there's a better chance of someone making it.

that’s fine that’s fine. i don’t need it doing ASAP or anything. this project is suspected to last about a year. i’m just trying to get stuff properly into motion

would love to have this, not only as a ready dimension but also as a way to configure custom dimensions in datapacks to have that kind of enviroment
