Mod Idea: Loa (lesser occult arts)
Covenants (the dealmaking system)
Binding to a Covenant:
to bind someone to a covenant the person you wanna bind must right click the air with the covenant dagger to be bound to the covenant dagger (playing a sound effect to every player online when that happens), then the dagger must be bound to a covenant stone (a 3 block tall obelisk) by right clicking the covenant stone with the bound dagger, unbinding the dagger and binding the player to the covenant (and playing a sound effect to every player online), you can unbind the dagger by washing it in a cauldron (dagger stats: 4 attack damage 2 attack speed, double damage when attacking someone bound to it or a covenant)
Owning a Covenant The owner of a covenant is simply the one who placed down the covenant stone, the owner of a covenant cannot be hit by anyone bound to their covenant and gains strength 2 and resistance 2 while within 50 blocks of their covenant. a covenant can be broken if the covenant stone is broken (breaking like reinforced deepslate and not dropping)
Abyssal Chains when right clicked all players bound to a covenant within 20 blocks get chained up, unable to move and attack but still able to take damage, chained players can be released by attacking them with the abyssal chains, and if they die while chained up they get banned with a symbol appearing under their feet at low health (around 2 hearts or less)

Weapon: The Abyssal Vessel:
when killing a player with this item in your off or main hand that player is trapped in the vessel, a player trapped in the effigy is banned (or trapped in a dimension), but not permanently, if the vessel is destroyed (by any means) the trapped player will be unbanned (or freed and spawn at their spawn point with nothing on them
Weapon: The Greatsword of the Damned:
9 attack damage, 1.2 attack speed. on hit the sword gains charge, when fully charged (takes about 10 hits) and while holding right click the wielder hoists the swords up in the air (taking up charge, with it running out after 10 seconds), anyone within the wielder's line of sight gains a new effect called terror which disables keyboard inputs. the effect lasts until the affected stops being within the wielder's line of sight, or until the wielder releases right click.
if a player is dropped to zero hit points by the greatsword of the damned the they are restrained by a glowing crown on their head and feet, unable to move. if the target is then right clicked by a player with a greatsword the player will do a big overhead swing on them and the player will be banned (with vfx obviously)
Invictus Form Clone: The Abyssal Crown (aka the abyssal monarch form)
a wearable crown, worn on the helmet slot, giving as much defense as a netherite helmet. when worn the wearer gets an extra full set of hearts and gets the following items:
Ritual Blade: simple sword, 7 attack damage 1.6 attack speed.
Monarch's Seal: hold down right click to charge it up, release to fire a beam of magic that deals more damage the more you charge it, with it dealing one heart as a base (if you release it after not charging at all) and gaining an extra heart of damage for every 3 seconds it's charged. the beam ignores armor and it has a max damage of 6 hearts. if you take damage while charging the seal you stop charging it (2 second cooldown)
if left clicked it causes a shockwave that knocks all enemies near the wielder. back (as strong as knockback VI)
Abyssal Crystals: food item, can only be eaten while wearing the crown, heals as much as a golden carrot and gives instant health 2 to the eater. wearer gets a stack when putting it on
if the wearer kills a player while wearing the crown the player is bound up with crowns around the head and legs and after a few seconds a beam akin to the one fired from the seal but bigger smites their player down banning them
if the wearer is killed while wearing the crown they explode with a giant shockwave and get banned
the crown cannot be worn if you do not have space for all the items it gives you
