I want Enchanting to be something you need to explore for. This is a WIP iteration of a redone enchanting system I am working on.

Enchanted Stone is found in structures (in this case the Ancient City). Right-clicking it "learns" an enchantment specific to that structure. Alternatively, finding enchanted books/equipment in chests also learns any enchantments on that item.

Enchanting Tables cannot be used unless you have learned Enchantments. In the video, I click on Knockback, but only get Sharpness. If I had "learned" Knockback beforehand, I would have gotten both.

I also did some aesthetic changes to Enchanting Tables- making them crafted with Amethyst and Enchanted Books, and giving the model a makeover. I especially love the enchanted glint on the book!

This is heavily wip, but please let me know what you think so far!

Started implementing some change to Minecraft's Enchanting System. I want enchantments to be something you have to go out and discover. Finding Enchanted Stone or enchanted items will learn those enchantments. You can then apply them in the Enchanting Table. This is still wip.

cool idea, nice work. what if you could just add any learned enchantments by just clicking on them in the gui, removing the random aspect because I feel like no one likes that

yeah, i think being able to select the enchantment you want would be nice. im planning on tying each enchantment to an element (and removing generic ones), so youd have to use some item as a cost to select the enchantment you want

for the fire element it would be blaze powder, air would be wind charges, and so on
