only started yesterday so it only places amethyst right now, but I will keep updated as a add stuff, but if you want to try it early feel free to build it from source https://gitlab.com/billyg270/f-tech-equipment
thank you!
np! Btw it requires trinkets to equip the backpack
Long term I have a few ideas for this mod. It might end up being a bit OP by some people's standards. But the 3 main features I want for it are: building, storage, and basic semi-auto crafting.
For the building it will use the items from the backpack's storage. And will be relatively simple as till be for one type of block at a time and using primitive shapes / regions to define where blocks should be placed. The idea here is to replicate the functionality of building wands. I'm still trying to decide what an interface would be like for this for UX, as i want it to be a simple as possible while still providing flexability.
For storage / crafting I want to do something along the lines of AE2/Refined storage, where items of the same type go into a slot of unlimited size, and there is a item limit on the backpack as a whole instead of the individual slots. This would also have a search bar like the other mods.
For the auto crafting I want to stray away from AE2 and not use patterns, instead all crafting recipes are known by the backpack, and in cases where multiple recipes could be used with what the player has in their backpack, the player will be prompted to choose before crafting.
There would be limitations compared to a full AE2 system as auto crafting could not use furnaces etc meaning the player would still need to do that manually.
Still need to make survival friendly so blocks dont break instantly and the blocks drop their items
Same for block placing still needing to consume inventory items in survival
W linux
Have you considered adding movement abilities
